Beacon Medical Ward
At Beacons medical ward we see team RWBY and JNR waiting outside an operating room were Pyrrha was getting stitches for her shoulder that the creature dug its claws into.
They all sat around with one thought on their mind, "How strong was that creature to be able to break Pyrrha's aura so easily?"
That's when a man in an Atlus uniform walked up to them and said, "Teams Rwby and JNPR, Mr. Ironwood would like to have a word with you in Ozpins office."
With his peace said he saluted and walked away.
"I wonder what Ironwood wants with us" Ruby asked herself as she grasped her chin and looked up thinking what Ironwood wanted.
This made Weiss say, "It's probably about the creature." in an annoyed tone.
"Why would you think that?" Yang asked while tilting her head to the side.
Jaune thought about it and said, "Well it's probably because we are the only teams to fight the creature for the longest period of time."
This made everyone look at him making him nervous and asking, "What?" in a shaky tone.
"Oh, nothing" everyone except Jaune said as they turned their heads away from him.
After talking for a little longer they finally arrived at the elevator which will take them to Ozpins office.
They all got in and pressed the up button and when they arrived, they saw Ironwood, Glynda, and Ozpin.
They were then greeted by Ironwood who said "Ah, Teams Rwby and JNPR, first let me say I'm sorry to drag you away from your friend Pyrrha, but we would like to know about your encounter with the creature."
Ruby took a quick glance at Ozpin who nodded his head, so Ruby began to explain what had happened during the fight with the creature.
Once Ruby was done talking Glynda said, "Thank you Ruby, you all may go now, I'm sure Pyrrha should be out of surgery now."
"Oh, I almost forgot, let's go guys." Ruby said rushing to the elevator as the rest of the teams followed leaving Glynda, Ironwood, and Ozpin in the office.
"A creature that is smart enough to know martial arts, can understand human language, takes hostages, and is almost invincible except being weak to dust." Ozpin said as he took a sip of his coffee.
Ironwood looked at Ozpin and said, "I'll be sure to have Atlus's best to hunt down this creature by tomorrow."
Ozpin looked at Ironwood and said, "I'll contact Qrow for back up and if you don't mind, I would like to have teams RWBY and JNPR there to learn since they encountered the creature before."
"Professor Ozpin you can't be serious; they aren't ready yet for a mission this dangerous." Glynda butted in.
"That is why they will be there to learn and only engage in case of in emergency." Ozpin said in a serious tone.
"Very well I'll inform the Ace Ops of the mission and have Winter come to make sure teams RWBY and JNPR are safe." Ironwood said.
"Hah, very well I'll go inform them of their new mission." Glynda sighed in defeat before heading to the elevator.
Somewhere in Remnant
Ichigo has been walking for about 5 hours now and could finely see a village of some kind which was great because he was hungry but bad because he couldn't just approach without getting attacked.
With Ichigo's hunger growing by the minute, he decided to try and sneak in and steal some food.
Ichigo went behind a house on the far side of the village, he looked inside the back window and saw the house was a little nice.
After a quick glance he jumped through the window and looked for the kitchen which was easy to find and looked inside the fridge to see it full of food.
Ichigo glanced around the kitchen and saw a big sack of potatoes which he grabbed and dumped on the floor.
He then began to fill the bag with food only to hear a high pitched "Aaahhhh!"
He looked behind him and saw a girl about 10 years old as she fled presumedly out the front door and shouted "Grimm!"
Ichigo sighed as villagers with knifes, swords, pitchforks, and gardening hoes, came charging through the door.
"Are they crazy!?" Ichigo thought as he saw the villagers with torches outside the house.
Quickly thinking Ichigo grabbed the sac of food and jumped out the window he climbed through and made a dash in the direction he came from.
He looked back and stopped to see if he was being chased, which he wasn't so he sighed in relief.
Then there was a shout of "Grimm." from a masculine voice.
Ichigo thought about what he should do "If I go the villagers will most likely try and kill me but if I don't, they might all be killed."
After some thought Ichigo sighed in rubbed the back of his head and dropped the sac and turned around and narrowed his black and yellow eyes before running back to the village.
When he got back to the village it was overrun "Hollows, no they called me a Grimm so they must be Grimm." Ichigo thought as he charged forward and kicked a bear looking Grimm in the chest making it fall backwards preventing it from clawing down a villager.
The bear Grimm started to get back up and Ichigo kicked it back down again as the villager got up and ran away as Ichigo stomped on the bear Grimm's head in.
Ichigo glanced around the village and saw at least 2 more bear Grimm and 5 dog Grimm.
The dog Grimm were hunting in a pack and surrounded a girl who was being protected by a woman.
Ichigo had a flash back of his mom and roared in rage catching the attention of the Grimm.
Due to the strong negative emotions that the Grimm could sense coming from Ichigo caused the Grimm to charge targets and attack Ichigo.
One of the dog Grimm pounced at Ichigo who punched the Grimm in the snout crushing its skull in, he then thew a high kick backwards killing another Grimm that tried to jump on him from behind.
The remaining hounds attacked at the same time, one Grimm was killed by Ichigo's right clawed hand that swiped it's face off, but the other two Grimm bit Ichigo, one on his left forearm and the other on his left ankle.
Ichigo took his right hand and crushed the skull of the Grimm on his arm, but before he could deal with the Grimm on his ankle the bear Grimm arrived and tackled Ichigo to the ground.
The bear Grimm was on top of Ichigo and swung its claw at Ichigo's head, but Ichigo brought up his left forearm in front of him that still had the wolf Grimm on it and the claw pierced the wolf Grimm in its body killing it.
Ichigo quickly slid out from between the bear Grimm's legs and jumped up then thrusted his clawed fingers through the Grimms chest killing it.
Ichigo took a quick glance at his claws and thought "I may not have Zangetsu but that doesn't mean I'm unarmed."
That was when the last Grimm showed up and swung at Ichigo who blocked the claw of the bear Grimm and swung his clawed hand at it ripping off its head.
Ichigo glance around and noticed there was no more Grimm and started to head back to his sac of food only to stop at the site of the towns people looking at him.
After the brief pause Ichigo continued towards his sac of food grabs it and leaves while thinking about how his left leg is throbbing from where he was bitten.
Beacon Academy, Next Day, Early Morning
It has been one day since the Grimm attack and Team RWBY and JNPR was heading towards Ozpins office for their special mission.
"I wonder what this mission is going to be about for us to have to be up this early." Jaune said as he yawned while walking.
"You dolt didn't you hear anything that Ms. Goodwitch said last night." Weiss said irritated by Jaunes lack of intelligence.
"Well, Jaune from what Ms. Goodwitch said we are going to be following professional hunters again as they track down the Grimm from the other day." Pyrrha said with a smile to her leader.
"Oh, OK, but Pyrrha are you sure you are healed enough to come with us?" Jaune asked with concern in his voice.
This had all of Pyrrha's friends look at her which made her nervous but happy to have such friends and said, "I'm fine guys my aura already healed the rest of the wound besides we are shadowing professionals, so we probably won't fight much."
"True we will probably just observe from afar." Ren said as the group of 8 reach the elevator that leads to Ozpins office.
"Well, shall we?" RWBY asked the group as they entered the elevator.
When they reached the top, they saw a group of 10 people three of them everyone knew as Ozpin, Glynda, and Ironwood.
As for the others only 2 stood out to 2 separate people who were on the same team and they were, "Winter!" "Uncle Qrow!" both Weiss and Ruby shouted in excitement as Weiss jogged up to her sister and Ruby sped off and jumped on Qrow's back.
Winter scolded her sister as Yang went up to Qrow so the 3 of them can talk, only to be interrupted by a cough from Ironwood causing Winter and the 5 unknown hunters to face him and straighten their backs.
"Teams RWBY and JNPR it's nice to see you again, let me introduce you to the Ace Ops." Ironwood said.
"Hello teams RWBY and JNPR my name is Clover leader of the Ace Ops and this is the rest of my team Harriet ("Hey."), Vine (Nods his head), Elm (Smiles and waves excitedly at the teams.), and Marrow ("Hello rookies.").
We were about to go over the missions before ou came in please join us." Clover said with a slight smile on his face.
"Right, Captain Clover, sir?" Ruby said while saluting and wondered if she should have added the last part which got a chuckle out of Clover.
"At ease, we have much to discuss." Ironwood said as he turned around and walked to the side of a table in the middle of the office.
Ozpin stood up and walked up to the same table with Glynda, getting the message everyone followed suite.
Then a hologram screen appeared in the middle of the table and showed a playback of the day before.
The screen showed the sky opening up and something flying out of it before the unknown Grimm fell.
"What was that thing that flew out of the rip in the sky" Clover asked as he examined the video.
"That is something we would like to find out ourselves which is why me and Ironwood agreed that teams RWBY and JNPR along with Qrow and Winter will go and investigate." Ozpin said.
"From some of the reports we got there have been buildings destroyed across Vale by an unknown object passing through them only for it to break through the border and land somewhere inside Forever Falls." Glynda said showing pictures of some of the destruction the object caused.
"What about that Grimm that fell from the hole in the sky." Winter asked as the screen changed to the picture of the Grimm in question, Winter and the Ace Ops examined the Grimm.
"That is why the Ace Ops are here, they will be tracking down this Grimm we are calling a Heartless, it was last spotted heading east of Vale's border." Ironwood said changing the screen showing Heartless running away from Vale.
"I see, anything to take note of?" Clover asked with a smile.
Ozpin nodded and said, "The Heartless is very intelligent, intelligent enough to take hostages and know some sort of material art."
"I see, well if there is nothing else we shall be going Ace Ops out." Cliver said as the Ace Ops saluted and left the office.
"We should be going to, if you'll excuse us." Qrow said as he left the office shortly followed by Winter and Teams RWBY and JNPR.
