When we arrived to the fountain, we saw a bunch of fairies flying around in a panic. "Oh my gosh!" I cried in alarm, "what happened?" I asked Tatl as I got closer.

The fairies spoke frantically when they caught sight of me and Tatl watching them. "Please, please help us Hero of Time, please find the one stray fairy that is lost…" I nodded in understanding and quickly headed out of the Great Fairies cavern. As Tatl and I went to look for the one stray fairy that was lost somewhere in Clocktown. As we were looking around for any sins of a missing fairy, we ran into Saria, who had been exploring the town while we were running around.

"Hay, little hero, we need to find the stray fairy, remember?" Tatl said, bringing me out of my thoughts again.

We found the fairy about an hour later, because the town was so big and new to us.

"Oh thank StarClan!" I said with a tired sigh. "We finally found it, that took forever!" Saria chimed In we entered the Great Fairy's cavern with the small fairy flittering around my head.

"Thank you Hero of Time, and thank you as well, Forest Sage… and Tatl too," the Great Fairy said while looking at us with a bright smile. Saria and I blushed while Tatl's light turned a bright pink.

"Hero of Time, sadly I can not reverse the curse that has been placed on you," the Great Fairy said sadly, regret in her eyes and in her tone. I glanced at Saria with a sad smile, then the Great Fairy spoke once more,

"But I have a gift for you hero, it's called the Great Fairy's bow." With those words, she handed me a blue and gold bow with a silver string.

"It looks really light, is that because of the magic inside?" Saria asked, blinking and staring with wide eyes at the blue-and-gold bow cliched in my hands.

"Thank you very much, it's very pretty." I spoke up meekly, smiling shyly and looking up at the Great Fairy with a respectful nod.

By the time we left the cavern, the sky was a beautiful reddish-gold color. "It's really pretty isn't it?" I asked, Looking towards Saria and Tatl.

"It makes your hair glow Linkette… just like a ruby or crimson," Ember said happily, landing on my head. Saria pouted in protest. I laughed at my friends face of disappointment.

"C'mon Linkette! We need to get back to Clock Town, it's gonna be midnight soon." I blinked in realization and then, faster then a bolt of lighting, the two girls started running as fast as they could back to the center of Clock Town.

A couple hours later, we were climbing the stairs that led up to the top of the clock tower.

"Well! Well! Well! We meet again hero, back for more? Or are you just hear to annoy me?" the skull kid said mockingly.

"Swamp, mountain, ocean, and canyon, hurry… the four who are there… bring them here…" Tael said, piping up suddenly. I shivered at the little fairy's ominous tone. What was so important about the four places? I silently questioned as I stared up at the purple-colored fairy flying above us.

"Shut up you stupid fairy!" the Skull kid snapped, growling and shaking Tael away in annoyance.

"Hay!" Tatl shrieked in fury. "You leave my brother alone!"

"And give us the mask if you please," I added sarcastically while also glaring at the masked skull kid.

"No! No! No! I don't think so you little… ouch. That hurt." He shrieked in pain.

"I got you!" I shouted as I jumped up and caught the Ocarina of Time while still in midair.

"Oh my gosh! Linkette, look up at the moon!" Saria yelped as the moon started to fall. I quickly brought the ocarina to my lips, a tune already coming to my mind…

The Song of Time… that's it! That's what I need to do! I thought to myself as the tune echoed around us. And in a bright flash of white light, the two we and everything else began to fade away.

When we opened our eyes, what we saw when we looked up made us gape in shock.

"Wait what? We're back in Clocktown? But how?" I wondered out loud as I glanced over at Saria, who had the same shocked expressions on her face as I did.

"Hay Linkette, look up there!" Saria shouted, pointing up toads the sky.

"Maybe that song you played did something," Tatl pondered, her little wings fluttering as she spoke. I thought about it for a couple minutes before replying.

"Well… the song of time probably sent us back in time… hints to why it's called The Song of Time," I said, looking down at the blue ocarina still cliched tightly in my hands. I sighed and shook my head, putting the Ocarina inside my cloak and turning back to my companions.

We ended up climbing trees and playing hide and seek with the other children, we even slid down the slide… and we did that for about… twenty five times or more.

"It's just like how we would play with the Skull Kids back in the Lost Woods!" at Saria's words, an idea popped into my head. I pulled out the Fairy Ocarina witch made Saria smile, then we sat on top of the slide as we played Saria's Song for what felt like hours.

We decided to explore the town for a while before we headed back to the Stockpot in. When we arrived to the Stockpot In, when we arrived, Anju greeted us happily with a bright smile on her face.

"How are you two girls doing today?" she asked us once we had sat down on a nearby bench.

"It was good, but we got lost on the way here," I said, glancing over at Saria with a sheepish grin on both of our faces.

After talking with Anju for a few more hours, we headed to our room and got ready for bed.

"So… we head to the swamp first then?" Ember asked after a we had excised the room.

"I guess so… but that sounds… just ewww! No thanks!" I scowled at the thought of swimming in a dirty swamp. Tatl hit me on the head in irritation and I resisted the urge to smack her away like I had often done when Navi annoyed me.

"Well yeah! Obviously!" she replied sarcastically. "We have to go there, that's where the first temple is. And besides… you two can clean up after we complete the journey there," she replied with a bit of snark and sad lacing her tone.

I glared and swatted at the fairy in annoyance. "Navi wasn't this sassy, was she?" Saria whispered into my ear.

I sighed heavily and shrugged my shoulders in response.

"No she wasn't," I whispered. We laughed as we continued on our way to the swamp where the Woodfall temple was located.
