Class 1-A and UA as a whole know that Midoriya Izuku is a very private person – he is very vague about his clearly overpowered quirk – even though they also know the is close to All Might. That the hero's own quirk is similar to Izuku's overkill quirk doesn't exactly hide this fact.
Despite how private he attempts to be, they know his normal behavior. Then again, they live together in dorms. You're bound to learn something about your weird room mates at some point in close proximity. In other words, they know when he acts weird, other than normally.
And they know it is bad when even All Might gets worried.
It started when Jiro overheard All Might telling their home room teacher, "I don't know why he leaves the campus so often! I keep our training on UA grounds for a reason! I called his mom, he doesn't always visit her when going off campus."
"Mm, she must be worried if you told her." assumed Aizawa, already tired from the thought of the problem child validating his name.
"Not really, Inko was oddly relaxed about this when telling her..."
After that, she reported what she heard to the rest of the class. The only one not caring was Bakugo, but that is normal.
"If not visiting his mother, why would he leave the campus?" wondered Ochaco. "Mm..."
"Ochaco, don't you dare!" said Tenya.
"Dare what?" she countered.
"Following Izuku to see where he is going." said Tenya. "I know what you are thinking."
Despite being a homeroom teacher who is full time responsible for his cohort of chaos, Aizawa still has his heroic duties. Like patrolling the city. When he thought today's night may be relaxed, he spotted the problem child.
"Oh, Midoriya..." At least he gets to figure out why the kid sneaks out. So late at that. Not to mention, a student off campus so late could be the U.A traitor, even if Aizawa can't imagine that Midoriya is the traitor.
So he followed his student in the shadows. Aizawa noted the other shadows, the rest of his class. Even Bakugo who normally can't be sneaky to save his life, all of them shadowed Midoriya who didn't notice a thing. He was just walking though a park as if nothing weird was going on.
Aizawa decided to focus on Problem Child Bone Breaker Edition, even though he should focus on the others as well. When Midoriya stopped walking, Problem Child Kaboom nearly blew his cover, as he didn't think Midoriya would stop walking so soon.
Midoriya stopped walking as a portal opened. That portal was made by Kurogiri. Said villain flew out, followed by Shigaraki Tomura. Kurogiri then left again though the portal, leaving the two red shoe enthusiasts alone in the park in the dark. They then just talked. Quite friendly from the looks of it.
Aizawa as well as the class just can't believe what they saw. They can't believe Izuku to be the traitor. Especially Aoyama just looked confused at this. As Aizawa planned to jump them, the two started to argue, which added to the confusion.
Jiro managed to hear what they were arguing about. "Come on, Izuku! Why are you so stubborn, just join my partly already!" she heard Shigaraki spout.
"Huh? So they aren't working together?" she put together.
"Tenko, no. I am not joining the League." said Izuku, somewhat calm. "You know, most older brothers want their siblings away from their groups."
"They're siblings?" Aizawa did not saw this coming, but that explained their taste in shoes.
"I know!" yelled Tomura – or Tenko - "But Akira and Hanako... they're back! We need to work together, they're after us both after all!"
"They're back? That's not good..." answered Midoriya. "Wait, did they find you?"
"Yes..."
"This is bad, very bad!" said Midoriya. "Albeit I have an idea..."
"Good! What is it?"
"We ask U.A for help... and maybe you join Nezu's experimental Villain rehabilitation program." proposed Izuku.
"Is that why you called me? To recruit me for your principal's quest?" answered Tomura irritated. "If you drag me there, U.A may assume you're the traitor."
"A risk I am willing to take. I would be surprised if they don't assume that." answered Izuku.
In a blink of a second, both were caught in Erasure Head's capture gear. "What is going on, Midoriya?" He sighed. "We go to U.A first, I am sure Nezu would like to hear you out." He then said loudly, "And the rest of the class – I know you're watching – behave or I send you all to the dorms!"
Izuku heard Mina yell "He noted us! How?"
"So, what is your connection exactly?" asked Nezu calmly as he pured himself a cup of caffeinated tea. "Aizawa said he heard you two calling each other brothers?"
Tomura – or Tenko – and Izuku just sat in front of Nezu, Aizawa standing besides them and 1-A, as well as All Might standing at the walls. He can't believe he's telling them this now. "First of all, Tomura goes by a fake name."
"My birth name was Tenko Shimura, but it is Tenko Midoriya now." admitted Tenko. They heard a noise from All Might. "I am Izuku's adoptive brother. The Midoriya's adopted me."
"And he lives with dad, or at least is meant to." said Izuku.
"Mom will be so angry." muttered Tenko.
"Since when did Izuku know you're a villain?" asked Aizawa.
"Since the USJ. Turns out he did recognize me."
"I can't believe you thought I won't."
"Who are Akira and Hanako?" asked Aizawa. "And why are they after you?"
"Akira and Hanako are my older half siblings from my dad's side." explained Izuku. "They are older than Tenko and-"
"They hate us." said Tenko. "Me, because I am adopted and Izuku for two reasons actually."
"They think dad favors me – which they also assume about Tenko – and they are jealous about my quirk." said Izuku. "They are villains in the US and worse than Tenko's group."
"Don't let Dabi hear that..." mumbled Tenko.
"Mm, Izuku... Is your father-"
"A villain? Yes..." admitted Izuku.
Tenko said, "Izuku didn't take these news well last week."
"Oh? Wait, Last week?" chimed All Might in.
"Yes, last week." confirmed Tenko.
"Huh, explains why he hadn't been in Japan for years." said Bakugo.
Tenko corrected him, "Actually, he was in Japan, with me."
"If your siblings and father are villains,", asked Uraraka, "Can't he tell them to leave you alone."
"Bold of you to assume they listen to dad." said Izuku. "Not to mention that dad is very useless in that regard."
"He won't punish them because it would 'make the situation worse'." said Tenko lightly mocking Hisashi Midoriya.
"So still a dead beat."
"Exactly Bakugo."
Nezu pulled the talk back on track, "And Hanako and Akira are after you two?"
"Yes. Well, mainly Izuku, but yes." confirmed Tenko.
"You know, Tenko, I am surprised you aren't trying something." said Nezu. Izuku made a worried sqeak, worrying that his brother...
"Well, I can't try something, considering Izuku holds my quirk hostage." said Tenko nonchalantly, slightly annoyed. "I literally can't."
"What do you mean?"
Tenko smirked, "Ah, Izuku lied about his quirk. He has a tweaked copy of our dad's quirk, he can take and give quirks-" "And copy quirks." "Well, I can feel him pull on mine. You see, Izuku used to pretend to be quirkless – just ask Bakugo – and now he uses that Strength quirk."
All Might deflated. He just deflated. His protege is related to All for One. His father is All for One. He even has the quirk. Shimura ripped him out of his stupor, "Oi, All Might! Don't you worry, Izuku is – to our father's annoyance – not a villain. If anything, Izuku would be a trash villain."
"Annoyed?" asked Aizawa.
"He isn't happy Izuku is playing hero-ouch!" Izuku pulled on Decay. Hard. "He wasn't happy when he saw the live broadcast of your Sports Festival."
"I see." said Nezu. "What can you tell me about your siblings?"
"Hanako was born quirkless – hence her utter jealousy of Izuku – but our father gave her a quirk." explained Tenko slightly sweating. He hadn't called the Sensei his father in a long time and not that frequent for a while. "She chose a quirk that is a total counter to Decay."
"Akira is also quirkless, but unlike his twin, he rejected a quirk. He instead focused on Martial Arts. He can paralyze ones quirk by just hiting the right nerves."
"He once killed a Mutant Quirk user whose quirk was too connected to his respirator system." added Tenko. "He and Hanako's air quirk are untouchable for us."
"Adding to that, that dad does nothing..."
"I see, that's why you wanted to ask for help." said Nezu. "Tenko, you will receive asylum at U.A and we will help you against Akira and Hanako, as long as you comply to a few rules. And if you want, I would permit you for my rehabilitation program. You seem to be a prime candidate."
"I have nothing to lose, so... thanks?" answered Tenko.
As that was decided, most of 1-A remained skeptical.
To the dismay of 1-A, Tenko moved into their dormitory. Izuku needs to keep him in check and they can use their quirks if Tenko does something. Then again, Izuku holds his quirk hostage, so he can't do much to begin with. The class relaxed when the next day after class, as they returned to their dormitories they saw Inko Midoriya doting on Tenko.
"Oh! Your skin had gotten so terrible! Did Hisashi forget the skin care routine I made for you?"
Izuku had to chuckle seeing this. While his brother doesn't make it seem like it, Tenko likes it. He sighed. Looks like no one told his mom that her husband is a villain. Izuku hoped it won't be him who breaks it to her. "Mom, what are you doing here?"
"I got a call from your principal." she said, "I had to come when he said Tenko is here! Now I am helping decorating his room. Mm, can you tell me why I can't take Tenko back home?"
"Dad's a villain." said Tenko. "So are Akira and Hanako." Looks like Tenko took one for the team.
"I... I had a feeling Hanako and Akira took that path, but Hisashi?" She was silent for a bit. Tears then came, albeit slowly. "At least that explains why he was barely home."
"You suspected Akira and Hanako?" asked Izuku surprised.
"Admittedly, at first I chalked their behavior off that they just didn't like that their father got married, but after a while, it became clear they are just violent people. And I saw them on TV, US broad cast." explained Inko. "I suppose Tenko has to be here because they are after him?"
"Well, me and Izuku, but yes." confirmed Tenko.
Tenko was glad he accepted Nezu's deal as Akira and Hanako attacked not a week later. Class 1-A then got a first look at the Shigaraki twins. Like expected, the twins looked similar. Both had white hair, Akira's short and Hanako's long and flowing like a cloud. Both had yellow eyes and were tall. Their cheer size was intimidating.
They came from the clouds, Hanako was showing off her air quirk. She let the air blower from 1-B look like a weakling, she was even controlling the weather it seemed. Akira was riding in a vector, courtesy of his sister. The first to feel his hidden power was Aizawa.
He grabbed Akira, only to be attacked by him and got paralyzed. As his quirk was connected to his eyes, he was hard of sight after Akira had done his trick. Not blind, just extremely blurred.
Tenko was with Groundhog when they attacked – therapy on Nezu's demand – so Hanako found him fast. "Oh, you here, parasite?" She compared him a lot to parasitic brooding birds like cockatoo's. "Well, looks like we can squish two flies with one stone."
Hanako attacked Tenko who just had no idea how to handle Hanako, only for her to be knocked out by Aoyama's naval laser. Tenko was surprised. "Uh, thanks?"
Izuku came to them. "Good shot, Aoyama!" Izuku them took Hanako's quirk, causing her to throw a tantrum.
Aoyama was shocked that a villain throws a tantrum like that. His attention got pulled to Jiro, who got knocked out by Akira. He saw her eyes bleed.
"He got Jiro!" yelled Uraraka. "Momo! Would you please?"
Momo created a massive canon, only for Uraraka to make it weightless. Asui then grabbed it and swung it to Akira. When it was close, Uraraka returned its gravitational pull. It landed on Akira, its weight pining him to the ground.
"I suppose this is one way to use a canon." said Momo, a bit shocked that her canon had a different use for once. She assumed Uraraka wanted her default as she hadn't clarified anyhting.
Tenko the while felt useless as these first years had no issue tacking someone out he can't even touch.
"Seriously?" said a voice. A voice Izuku and his siblings recognized instantly. Tenko looked to him, floating in the air as if in was nothing. His red eyes sparked with panic seeing All for One here at UA. For once, he hoped All Might would come. "And Tomura, U.A? Really? That the twins rebel, I am used to, Izuku, I still think it is a phase, but you? I am disappointed."
"It is not a phase, dad!" snapped Izuku.
"Really? But you are warming up to using your natural quirk." countered All for One. "At least Hanako is quirkless again. I feel it."
"Dad! Make him return my quirk!" demanded Hanako.
"No. You just use it against your brothers again. Keep it, Izuku." 1-A could hear the villain was rather done with Hanako's antics. "Not to mention, you didn't listen to me. I told you to stay in America, didn't I?"
"I am here!"
All for One sighed as he turned to All Might. "Aren't you buffoon seeing I am busy scolding my children?" He gestured to Izuku, Tenko and the twins.
"You call that scolding, Hisashi?" said Inko, making her way to her liar husband. "Inko, get away-" "Don't tell me. All Might." She slapped All Might's hand away. "Hisashi..." She looked at him annoyed, "I don't know what is worse, that you're a villain or an incompetent parent to all of your kids."
"Incompetent? Inko, I-"
"I am not done talking, Hisashi! When we married, I accepted that the twins don't like me, but I told you I draw the line at them harming Izuku and Tenko." said Inko. "They overstepped that line for sure." She gestured around her, namely at Akira under the canon. "So I say we're getting a divorce. And..."
All for One then felt something going on with his innards. "Are you using your quirk on my organs?"
"Yes." said Inko nonchalantly. "I told you I won't allow Akira and Hanako to stomp over our kids. As you seem to be the root of their issues,", she gestured to Hanako, still throwing a tantrum about her lost quirk while being restrained by Aizawa, "It feels right to use my quirk and limited medical training on you."
He gasped. "Ah!" All Might saw his enemy was in pain.
"I could pull out your tubes, but that for sure isn't legal." He then left. "Of course he leaves when facing responsibility..." She then walked to Izuku and Tenko, making sure they're okay.
Nezu approached her. "You know, Mrs. Midoriya, I could organize a crash course for you to earn a quirk license."
All Might wasn't sure if he liked the idea of Inko being an organ pulling hero, even though it would help against All for One. Izuku shared that thought.
