After a lot of gagging and copious amounts of hair, Izuku finally swallowed All Might's hair, solidifying his place as the next holder of One for All, he still despised the process of acquiring it, however. The greenette made sure to run home and wash before rushing off to the exam, taking only the essentials, such as his gym equipment and twelve packets of candy for energy, just to be safe.

Finally, after an hour-long train ride, Izuku made it to the prestigious school, UA High, the training centre of almost all of Japan's greatest Heroes, including, but not limited to; All Might, Endeavour, and even Best Jeanist. And now it was his turn, the boy savoured his first ever step onto the campus, placing it into his hall of memor-, "Outta the way, Dipshit." Izuku was shoulder-checked by Katsuki, sending him spiralling towards the floor.

'Well, guess I'll just die.' Izuku thought to himself, bracing for the impact of the hard brick floor, hoping no one was watching this pathetic performance, unfortunately (or luckily?) someone was.

Suddenly, the greenette felt all of his downward momentum dissipate, which was odd when accounting for the laws of gravity, "Sorry for using my quirk on you!" A feminine voice spoke, making Izuku seize up. A few moments later, Izuku was on his feet, having been rearranged by the girl while in his catatonic state, "There! Sorry again, I felt it would be bad luck to fall before a test, you know?" She smiled, tapping her fingertips together and returning Izuku's weight.

Now that he got a good look at her, this girl was super cute! She had shoulder-length brown hair cut into a bob, framing her circular face, which held a set of auburn eyes and two blush marks on her cheeks. Izuku needed to say something, ask her name, her quirk, anything!

"Huahbubawah?"

'What the hell was that?!' The greenette mentally panicked as the girl's expression turned slightly confused, before returning to its previously cheery state, "O-Okay?... I'll be going now! Good luck!" She waved as he wallowed in his lack of social skills.

Eventually, Izuku finally shuffled his way into the exam hall, awkwardly placed between Katsuki and Izumi, like some unwilling third-wheel. Thankfully, the written exam soon began, making his mind focus on the test instead of his precarious position. Sadly, this didn't last, Izuku managed to finish the exam just a few minutes before his time ran out.

With that brain pain over, UA got to the main event, the lights dimmed, and several spotlights focused on the centre of the stage. A few footsteps were heard echoing through the hall, everyone went silent as a blonde-haired man walked onto the stage, his hair styled into a large crescent-moon shape, and a toothy grin plastered on his face, "WELCOME TO UA! CAN I GET A 'HEEEEEYYYYY'?" Everyone stayed silent.

"Tough crowd," He muttered to himself, "ALRIGHT! TODAY YOU WILL BE PARTAKING IN THE UA HERO COURSE ENTRANCE EXAM! AND THAT MEANS ONE THING! COMBAT!". The silhouette of three robots appeared on the large screen behind him, each with a number from 1-3 under them, "YOU GUYS WILL BE GETTING THROWN INTO A MOCK CITY FILLED WITH ROBOTS! YEAAAAHHHH!" Everyone stayed silent, again, "AND YOU WILL BE FIGHTING THESE ROBOTS! YEAAAAHHHHH!" Once again, no response, the entire hall was quiet except for one feint muttering noise.

"THERE WILL BE THREE TYPES OF ROBOT YOU'RE FIGHTING, EACH BEING WORTH POINTS FROM 1 TO 3! THE PEOPLE WITH THE MOST POINTS WILL BE THE ONES TOPPING THE CHARTS!" Suddenly a hand shot up into the air, immediately catching the blonde's attention due to it being the only audience interaction he'd had the entire time, "YES EXAMINEE 7711!".

A spotlight now appeared on a tall bespeckled boy with navy blue hair, a serious expression adorning his face, "It has come to my attention that you have mentioned that there are only three robots, however! The pamphlet handed to us when we walked in clearly said that there was FOUR!" He said pointing to said pamphlet. "And YOU!" He growled pointing straight at Izuku, who shrunk back into his chair, "You have been speaking this entire time! If you won't take this seriously, leave!" Izuku heard a few snickers at this but decided to ignore them.

"WELL, YOU SEE, THE FOURTH TYPE OF ROBOT IS MOSTLY JUST AN OBSTACLE FOR YOU TO AVOID AND IS WORTH NO POINTS, SO DON'T BOTHER ATTACKING IT." Mic made a giant 'X' with his arms, making Examinee 7111 nod his head in acceptance and sit back down, "WELL THAT'S IT REALLY, GOOD LUCK IN THE EXAM AND REMEMBER, GO BEYOND, PLUS ULTRAAAAA!".

Izuku fidgeted where he stood, the giant faux city in front of him making him increasingly nervous, he didn't know if he was ready for a city-scale fight since he could only Blink about thirty meters at a time. The greenette took a deep breath, partially calming his nervous body, 'I've got this! I trained with All Might for crying out loud, I can face anything!'.

Opening his eyes, Izuku suddenly spotted a familiar set of brown hair, 'It's the nice girl! I should go properly thank her for earlier.' He thought beginning to walk over to her. Suddenly, he felt a large hand on his chest, holding him back from his goal, "Are you going to distract that girl?" Dear god, it was Examinee 7111, his large imposing g frame seemed to loom over Izuku as he glared into his soul.

"W-Wha-No! S-She-" Izuku didn't get a chance to explain himself before the bespeckled boy began to chew him out, catching the attention of many other examinees. The greenette could sense the congruent thought they were all thinking, 'He's gonna fail.'

Suddenly, Mic's deafening voice echoed across the fields, "BEGIN!", they all stood in shock at the brief announcement, the doors swinging open. A green blur flew past everyone as Izuku flew past everyone, landing and jetting off into the city in a full sprint, "HE'S GOT IT! FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE, THERE'S NO COUNTDOWNS IN A REAL BATTLE!".

In all reality, Izuku had just been spooked by the sudden announcement, accidentally activating his quirk and uncontrollably spiralling into the arena and luckily landing on his feet. Now, however, he was in a complete panic, robots swarmed him as he ran cluelessly, finally, he managed to find a single one-pointer.

Izuku honed in on the machine, Blinking off towards it, once he reduced the distance between the two, the greenette let off another Blink, directing it into his toes and spinning his body at great speeds, executing his "Kinetic Spinkick!". Once his heel connected with the robot's head, it was ripped from its neck, sending it flying into a shop window.

Having secured one whole point, Izuku slightly revelled in his small victory before he continued his hunt, managing to spot three more one-pointers and a two-pointer in the distance. Doing a quick thirty-meter Blink, Izuku slid to a halt, his foot now pressed against the body of a one-pointer, "Kinetic Blast!", Izuku channelled a powerful ten-meter blast through his foot, sending the machine flying into another of the one-pointers, leaving just one of them and a two-pointer.

Since the robots had now fully registered his presence, Izuku had to dodge the flurry of attacks directed towards him, barely being clipped by the two-pointer's tail, which left a nasty slice. The greenette quickly made some distance between them, letting off another Blink, now that he had some distance between them, Izuku could finally generate a plan.

Picking up one of the destroyed one-pointer's old armour plates, Izuku threw it into the air before he used a strong air blast to fire it at the one-pointer lodging it into its chest and presumably hitting its power core, as it immediately shut down. "Alright! Now it's your turn!" He said, boosting at the two-pointer, which swung its tail in retaliation.

Izuku quickly grabbed onto the tail, slingshotting himself right into the joint of the appendage, snapping it off entirely, "You won't be needing this.". He then placed his foot atop the robot's skull before channelling a five-meter blast into his foot, blowing its head clean off. Izuku decided to just normally run as he looked for more robots, almost overheating during his battle with the robots.

He was only two minutes into the test and had already racked up six points, far further than he had imagined being when he first started the test, so that was good Honing in on a group of three two-pointers, Izuku allowed his mind to wander as he sprinted over, serving the first robot a mean enhanced drop kick, turning it's torso into shrapnel, which stabbed into the other two, lightly damaging them.

He began to recall All Might's words about One for All once the teen had successfully not gagged up one of his strands of blonde hair, he said, 'One for All should be fully manifested in about three hours, varying slightly on the inheritor's metabolism.', but funnily enough, he felt no different. It had been roughly four hours since he... consumed the power of One for All, so he should be able to use a god-like level of strength by now.

Doing a powered axe kick onto the first two-pointer to reach him, Izuku began to feel around for One for All, using all of his senses to discover where the power was hiding. Eventually, he found a weak heat in his chest, which he assumed must be the power, since his quirk didn't act like that, as the final robot approached him, he grabbed onto the power as he charged up another Blink.

The greenette felt a wave of kinetic energy enter his body as he fired himself at the poor robot, easily moving twice as fast as usual and slamming into the two-pointer, creating a large crater in its main body where he impacted it. After a moment of being dazed, Izuku shot to his feet, becoming very conscious of time and slightly excited to try out his new power.

He had gone all out for that attack, showing that One for All hadn't completely transferred yet, since he would have probably atomized the entire city with an attack like that. Even if it was limited, this power boost was probably enough to carry him through the test, especially since he still had seven minutes left, he could do this!

Suddenly a three-pointer jumped out at the boy, firing several missiles at him to try and ambush him, however, Izuku raised a foot and let out a thirty-meter Blink amplified with One for All, the most powerful attack he could release. The sheer air pressure of the attack pushed the missiles back to their master, exploding on impact and shredding the mech to scraps.

Izuku's grin grew even more at this, seeing the sheer destructive power he could release with an incomplete version of One for All, he couldn't wait to begin saving with the real thing. Since more examinees had begun to populate the area, the robots had become even more sparse passing the halfway mark on the test, Izuku having found one more two-pointer, two one-pointers, and a three-pointer, bringing his total score to twenty-two by the sixth minute. Entering the central streets, Izuku felt pretty proud of his score, but upon hearing the other examinees, he quickly lost the wind in his sails.

"Thirty-five!" Shouted one boy, using his sword-like appendages to easily cut through a duo of one-pointers.

"Forty-two!" Cried a girl, tapping her hands together and causing a mass robo-rainstorm, giant metallic bodies crashing down around her.

"Fifty-nine!" Said another boy, crashing through a group of two-pointers using thruster-like appendages on the back of his legs.

Izuku stood in a confused panic as all of these numbers were called out around him, every single one of them higher than his. The greenette was on the verge of having a panic attack mid-exam when a deafening explosion sobered him up to the situation, many others following suit. The cacophony of booms was eventually ceased by a low rumbling coming across the entire mock city.

In the observation suite, Toshinori watched Izuku intently as he bravely battled his way through every swarm of robots he had come across, somehow managing to power his quirk up using One for All, clearly at a low amount however. Compared to most of the candidates, Izuku was doing sub-par, however, defeating robots wasn't the only objective of the exam.

"We have quite the bunch this year, huh?" A feminine voice spoke, an alluring tone in her voice constantly.

"Indeed," The squeaky voice of UA's principal said, "The examinees have limited time, must cover a vast area, and make sure every last enemy is defeated.". A screen with a large boy with tentacle appendages came to focus, "Many use information-gathering quirks to track down their enemies, while others use sheer speed to pull ahead of the competition." A screen with a certain blue-haired boy came to focus.

"Of course, pure power and combat ability can be a huge advantage." The rat-like creature said, a video feed of a blonde with smoking palms coming to the focus of the screen. "The most successful students use a combination of all these tactics, they're the ones racking up the highest scores," Finally, a feed of a green-haired girl using her telekinesis quirk to crush a group of five three-pointers.

"Well, the real test is yet to come," Said a grizzly voice, flipping open a covering on a button labelled, 'Yakuri Switch', "The real test is yet to come." He continued, pressing the button.

Screams echoed through the cityscape as the low rumbling slowly grew closer and closer, the thick layer of dust kicked up by the initial explosions clearing to show the looming figure of the zero-point robot. Izuku felt his legs turn to jelly as the machine, which was taller than all of the buildings in the entire mock city, began to roll towards him, causing the other surrounding examinees to begin evacuating.

'I-I need to run! To f-find m-more villains!' Izuku rolled onto his front, trying to crawl away from the absolute behemoth behind him, if only his shaky arms would cooperate. Just as Izuku was about to flee, he heard a familiar feminine voice cry out in pain, "Oww!", turning back in horror, the greenette felt his heart drop as he saw the nice girl that had saved him trapped under some rubble, unable to move from the giant's destructive path. Izuku sprinted toward the girl, charging up a Blink powered with One for All, expecting to move as he had previously in the exam.

However, instead, he felt a gigantic amount of Kinetic Energy flood his body, so much that green electricity crackled on the street around him. This great energy was immediately fired into the floor, creating a fracture pattern with a radius of about ten meters, and launching him into the air at amazing speeds, easily flying past the gigantic hand of the machine.

Izuku instinctively pulled back a fist, charging up a Kinetic Blast combined with One for All once more, "SMAAAAAAAAASH!" He cried, slamming his fist into the robot's face at full force. The immense power behind the boy's attack easily crumpled the machine's head, like it was a soda can, multiple explosions emanated from the beast's spine as all of its systems shut down or were destroyed.

An intense pain shot up Izuku's arm and down his leg, causing him to realize they were both completely broken and that he was still over ten stories in the air. Gravity soon regained control of the situation, dragging Izuku down at terminal velocity, even he knew that his impact resistance had a limit, and this was definitely it!

As Izuku plummeted towards the floor, he squeezed his eyes shut, preparing another 'Smash' to hopefully save his life, building his energy, just as he was about to release it, he felt a stinging pain resonate on his cheek with a loud slap. The greenette felt as he began to float in the air, peeking his eyes open to take a look at his two-time saviour, "Release!" She said with a strained expression like she was holding back a moving car.

As soon as he touched the floor, Izuku felt the odd sensation of his built-up energy dissipating from his left arm, he also heard an announcement from Present Mic, "AND IT'S OVER! GOOD WORK AND GET SOME REST, YOU'VE EARNT IT!".

"I-I... f-failed..." He managed to murmur before passing out from exhaustion.

One Week Later

Izuku sat on his family couch, idly curling a 50kg dumbbell in his right hand as he watched the TV, staring at it in a desperate hope that it would drown out the sound of Izumi telling their parents the story of how she held back the zero-pointer for the trillionth time this week. The greenette had been in a haze since the entrance exam, not being able to focus his mind on anything for more than five seconds before his thoughts naturally wandered back to the Exam.

It also appeared that Izumi had a change of heart during the exam, over the week trying to become friendlier with Izuku for some strange reason, perhaps trying to reinvent herself for her assured place on the Hero Course, managing to score sixty-three points in total. This only lowered Izuku's mood further, a tint of anger entering his mind any time she tried to 'snuggle up' to him on the couch or 'make her oniichan a snack', as if his years of torment had never happened.

A knock at the door alerted the family, having been on edge since the exam for any form of results or letter, mostly for Izumi, but Izuku was still hopeful. Inko was first to the door, somehow, and already had both letters in her grasp, handing them to each respective twin. Unfortunately, they were both forced to read their letters in the living room with the entire family, even when these letters ended up being hologram videos.

Up first was Izumi, who was greeted by the principal of UA himself, Nezu, his squeaky voice explaining her achievements, "I am pleased to say that you passed both of our exams with flying colours! Scoring ninety-eight per cent on the Written Exam and then sixty-three in our Practical Exam, placing you in fifth place overall!". Hisashi and Inko both quickly embraced their daughter, who let out tears of joy from her score, "I predict that you are currently celebrating, however, I would like to show you something extra.".

The family halted their group hug to watch the video playing on the hologram, it was Izumi, her face scrunched up in concentration as massive amounts of psychic energy emanated from her body, and the camera panned a frame of the zero-pointer, trapped in the energy as it desperately tried to push forward. "How, as a Hero Academy, can we allow such unfiltered Heroism to sit in fifth place, someone willing to risk it all just to help others? That is why we introduced Rescue Points! Izui Midoriya, you have gained twenty Rescue Points! Leaving you at eighty-three points and in first place!".

The family once again returned to their celebrations as Nezu spoke about idle things, such as Hero Costume submission deadlines, dorm arrangements, and assigned homeroom. Once the hologram had shut off, it was Izuku's turn, the family huddling around the boy as he removed the disk from the envelope and placed it on the table. The atmosphere was far more sombre than mere moments before, like going from a child's first birthday to a puppy's funeral.

"Izuku, I want you to know," His mother began, holding his shoulder, "We are proud of you, whatever score you get." Well, that was reassuring.

The hologram activated, showing All Might's grinning face, "I AM HERE... AS A PROJECTION!" The man cried, scaring the family, "The truth is, I did not come to this city to fight villains alone! You are currently looking at UA's newest faculty member!". Although this did come as a surprise for Izuku, he still had the foresight of what was to come next, so he kept his serious demeanour.

"Now, onto business..." The giant spoke, his tone becoming much more empathetic, "Although you scored an impressive eighty-eight per cent on the Written Exam, you only scored twenty-two points on the Practical Exam, meaning you sadly did not pass...". Tears welled up in Izuku's eyes as he looked at the screen, his vision blurred because of it, he felt his mother's arm wrap around him in comfort, which slightly consoled him, "If that was all there was to the test!".

Izuku's ears perked up at this looking back to the screen, a video of a brunette girl with two rosy cheeks and a set of big set of brown eyes was playing, walking up to Present Mic with a nervous look, "Erm, excuse me, you know that green-haired boy, plain face, freckles, blew the zero-pointer's head off? Yeah, could you give him some of my points?".

The greenette's eyes widened as the girl went on, "You see, I heard him say something about failing at the end of the test, which I thought was crazy since he saved my life, but if he has, could you please give him some of my points?". Tears began to flow freely down his face as he looked at the girl, who stared blankly at the camera filming her, "If he can't get into this Hero Academy after breaking his bones to save me, then what kind of Hero School is this?!".

All Might paused the video, his face holding a very determined smile, "To inspire others with such vigour that they would offer their points on your behalf, only a true Hero could have done that, which is why we introduce Rescue Points!". Izuku watched in awe as his name shot up the leaderboard, "Izuku Midoriya, twenty-two Hero Points and sixty rescue points! You have placed second place in the UA Hero Course Exam." All Might held out a hand, his smile dazzling Izuku's eyes, even after seeing it so many times, "Welcome to Your Hero Academia!".

Thank you for reading this chapter! As you can see, Izuku and Izumi were the top scorers, however, this won't be an 'Izuku Wins Everything' Fic since I know that's just boring. As you read, dorms will be implemented from the start, which is another change I decided to add so we can have some more character bonding and interaction, and I understand that some people hate when Fics do this, but I'm going to do it anyway. Next chapter will be about the Midoriyas' first day as well as moving into the dorms. I apologize for this chapter being so late, but I was very busy and had some massive writer's block, I will hopefully get the next chapter out on time. That's all for this chapter, see you next time, bye!
