Another massive meteor fell from the sky and hit the one that hadn't even been destroyed yet. The Spriggan 12 now knew that they can't hide their power anymore and use their full power.
"Irene." Zeref said in a low tone, but the other members of the Spriggan 12 could hear him.
"Tch, I know." A irritated Irene scoffed.
Her body suddenly glows and a scarlet aura burst out of it as her eyes also glowed scarlet. Scales start to appear on her skin and her body increased in size. Irene just transformed into a scarlet colored sage dragon.
"August, don't just stand around." She insisted.
"Of course." He nodded before his staff started to glow white.
Irene took a deep breath and a bright scarlet light forms in her mouth. "SAGE DRAGON ROAR!"
A massive bright scarlet beam is fired from Irene's mouth at the massive meteor. August also fired a massive white beam from his staff. Both magic beams quickly move towards the meteor and hit the one on the bottom first.
"Impressive, but it's still not enough." Ben smirked.
Gold auras cover the meteor chunks before they were suddenly covered in gold fire. They also start falling even faster than before because Ben also used his Gravity Magic.
"Now, what will you do?" Ben asked as he continued smirking.
August suddenly stepped forward and embedded his staff into the ground. Then, numerous black magic circles appear in front of him. "Dark Missiles!"
Numerous black projectiles come out of the magic circles and fly towards the falling meteor chunks. This is a spell August created from Magic Bullet and Missiles spells. He mastered a lot of magic, so he has created some spells by combining spells that he learned.
The black missiles hit the meteor chunks and they explode into small rocks. Their momentum was also disturbed, so they won't cause too much damage now. Even so, they still made holes in the buildings, so there was still damage to the city.
Ben smirked and said, "Good, this would be boring if you guys were really weak. Now, let's have some fun, people."
After that, Ben free falls without using any magic onto the city below.
"Hmm. I think I need to do that, superhero landing." Ben said while rubbing his chin.
Ben does it. He lands on the city's plaza with a superhero landing. Of course, he increased the impact by making himself a lot heavier. The plaza cracked and the spot where Ben fell was destroyed. He stood up and cracked his neck before looking around.
"It's nice to see that you still have the will to fight me." Ben said while looking at the soldiers who rush to the plaza from all sides.
These are the soldiers that survived the meteor shards that fell onto the city. They are very loyal to their Emperor and didn't leave even when a majority of their comrades just died.
"But I will tell you this, you won't return home if you still decide to fight me. I'll give you 10 seconds to leave and I won't attack those who leave in the next ten seconds. The choice is yours." Ben said before counting from 1 to 10 without moving an inch.
"9...10. That's it, you've run out of time." Ben smirked because no one had left.
"I guess you are ready to die then. Requip!" Ben exclaimed while taking his Pendragon sword he made in the past out as he hadn't used it in a long time.
"Let's do this the old fashioned way, fellas." Ben said before he rushed at the soldiers.
The soldiers didn't rush towards him, instead they prepare magic spells to attack him. They fire a lot of magical attacks but no one hit Ben who moved really fast and evaded them all. Ben finally reached the soldiers and he jumps into the crowd with a big, excited grin on his face.
"Time to be a knight." Ben said before he started slashing at them with his sword.
Ben slashed the soldiers bodies as he advanced. He swung his sword freely while evading or blocking the enemies' attacks. Ben was a swordsman now, so he only used his sword to block and attack without using other parts of his body.
Even so, he can still overwhelm the soldiers because he is very fast and strong. Soldiers fall with each slash and no one can block it at all. His slash even cut their magic weapons made from tough metals and strengthened by magic.
Ben's Pendragon sword was really sharp and hard which allowed it to cut magic armor without being coated by his magic. So he advanced without any problem and easily defeated his enemies. He was unstoppable for a while until someone rather strong appeared.
A woman suddenly blocked his sword with hers, preventing him from advancing further. Ben was impressed with the fact she could stop his sword even though he didn't use his magic. Pendragon is very strong, so her sword must be strong and so is she.
"Well, well, well, I thought it was a random soldier stopping my attack. But it's actually one of the Spriggan 12." Ben smirked.
The one who stopped him was Dimaria, one of the Spriggan 12. She looked at Ben with an excited smirk. The girl wasn't intimidated even after seeing what Ben did a while ago.
"Are you sure you want to fight me alone?" Ben asked.
"Why wouldn't I? You've come down on your own, so there's no need to worry about anything. I'll show you that you made a big mistake coming down here. You should've stayed in the sky and fired spells from afar like a coward. Now that you're down here, you won't stand a chance." Dimaria smugly said.
"Oho, interesting. You certainly seem confident in your abilities. Well then, why don't you show me your power? I hope you aren't all just talk." Ben smirked.
Ben starts attacking Dimaria using his sword without any magic. He only used his physical strength and swordsmanship. This is the kind of fight Ben prefers over using magic spells to fight.
Dimaria's battle skills were really good and she can match Ben's skills. In terms of pure swordsmanship skill, Dimaria is even better than Ben actually. Ben isn't a pure swordsman, so there are many people better than him with swordsmanship.
Even in the guild, Erza is a lot better than him at swordsmanship. Dimaria's swordsmanship is similar to Erza's, so she's good. She wasn't a member of the Spriggan 12 for nothing, so Ben wasn't disappointed because this means the Spriggan 12 can put up a good fight against him.
Ben and Dimaria's clash continued in the middle of the crowd. Some soldiers tried to assist Dimaria, but Ben slashed at them when they get closer. He is so fast he can continue fighting Dimaria while defeating the soldiers with only his sword.
Of course, this made Dimaria angry because Ben wasn't taking her seriously. It's like he said he can easily defeat her if he focused on her. She had no idea how true that was because Ben is just playing around with her right now.
The other members of the Spriggan 12 are watching their fight from afar to judge Ben's power. They don't know much about him, so they need to observe him first. Dimaria headed out to fight him even without them asking her too and they let her fight to observe Ben's power.
"Why doesn't she use that?" Ajeel asked.
"She will use it soon." August answered.
Right after August said that, everything around Dimaria became monochrome except for her. Everyone stops moving because Dimaria stopped the time around her using a spell called Age Seal. But it didn't reach the other members of the Spriggan 12 who stood far away from Dimaria.
"It's over." Neinhart smugly said.
The other members of the Spriggan 12 smirk. August and Irene on the other hand kept serious expressions on their faces.
