"And done." Rosa sat the pencil down and handed the clipboard to Shion. "What do you think?"
"Woah." Shion eyes popped open as she looked at it. "It looks like it's something I've seen before, but also something new."
The picture Rosa drew was a female in something that resembled a traditional kimono. However, it was significantly short as it went above the knees. It also had no sleeves, yet it was still tied together by a sash, or obi, like a typical kimono.
"Why no design, though?" Shion raised an eyebrow. "It looks like it's just plain?"
"The dress is more casual, while a traditional kimono would have a floral pattern or something else." Rosa leaned toward her to point at the drawing she made. "This is something you'd want to just wear out instead of something you'd want for special occasions."
"Is that why it's also shorter and doesn't have the long sleeves?" Shion turned to face Rosa.
"According to the most adorable thing in Hinamizawa, before I brought Maria here, it's nice to be able to do any physical activity." Rosa giggled.
"I'm sure she'd be happy to hear you use that reasoning in your design." Shion giggled. "But wouldn't it come loose since it's shorter, and the sash may not hold as well as if it was longer?"
"Karate Gis have a part that ties together on each side." Rosa pointed at the sides covered by the obi on the dress. "That will make it more secure, so you can move more without worrying about it opening on its own."
"You really thought of everything, didn't you?" Shion handed the clipboard back to Rosa.
"I learned you have to." Rosa took the clipboard and sat it to the side. "Believe me, the questions you get in real pitch meetings are much worse. They kick you out the minute they think you don't know what you're talking about."
"Sounds brutal." Shion frowned.
"That's business for you." Rosa sighed. "It's a brutal thing to be a part of."
"Well, hey." Shion placed a hand on Rosa's shoulder. "Starting your own would be much better than dealing with that."
"It would be." Rosa smiled. "But there's still the whole making these dresses ourselves and then finding a place to sell them."
"Oh, the first part is easy." Shion smiled. "We'll need to rope everyone else into it, but at least that will be the first part out of the way."
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Rosa raised an eyebrow. "It sounds like you only punish one person, and I don't think relying on Keiichi alone is a good idea for producing so many."
"Don't worry." Shion giggled. "I have an idea."
"That's what I'm scared of." Rosa smiled as she took a drink.
"Rosa!" A voice from the distance yelled out, getting both of their attention.
"What was that?" Shion stood up, looking around and seeing someone coming towards them. "Wait. Is that Rena?"
"Rena?" Rosa stood up, seeing Rena coming closer while carrying something. "Is that Maria in her arms?"
Rosa ran towards Rena, wondering what was happening, with Shion behind her. Rosa was so focused she didn't notice the whole club was a little behind Rena as she came closer.
"Rosa's already out?" Satoko kept running as she saw her.
"Please let her be okay." Rika frowned as she got closer, hoping Rosa was better now.
"Rena, what in the world are you doing here?" Rosa stopped as she stood in front of Rena.
"I'm sorry, Rosa, but we had to come." Rena stopped as she tried catching her breath for a moment. "Maria was crying, and I was worried, and I knew we had to come see you because,"
"Wait! What's wrong with Maria!?" Rosa's eyes got wide. "Did something happen!? Did she get hurt!? Is she."
"Mama…" Maria lightly said, making Rosa freeze in place.
"She, really missed you." Rena smiled as her lip quivered. She moved closer to Rosa so she could see Maria better. "As much as I love having Maria around, I knew she needed you more than me."
"My baby girl called me mama…" Rosa started crying again as she slowly took Maria out of Rena's arms and hugged her. "I'm sorry I missed you saying it for the first time. Mama wasn't feeling the best and was scared you'd get hurt…"
"Mama…" Maria slowly hugged Rosa back.
"Don't worry, mama will never be selfish to you again." Rosa sniffled as she kissed the top of Maria's head. "You're more important than anything else in my life."
Rena just watched as she also got teary-eyed. She didn't know why, but seeing Rosa reacting the way she was made her feel different. She jumped as she saw Rosa look up at her.
"Come here," Rosa pulled Rena into a hug, making her jump. "Thanks for watching Maria and bringing her to me. You've been an angel since I met you."
Rena started to cry as she hugged Rosa back and buried her face into Rosa's shoulder. It sounded like Rena was trying to talk, but her being against Rosa made it hard to understand her. Rosa just let it go as she continued hugging the both of them.
"Whew!" Satoko sighed. "Thankfully, Rosa seems okay now."
"That's a relief." Keiichi smiled before turning to look at Satoko and Rika. "Are you two sure she wasn't feeling well earlier? Cause she seems perfectly fine now."
"Irie knows how to help people." Rika giggled, silently relieved that Rosa still seemed like the same Rosa she met yesterday.
"Hey, I helped too." Shion walked up to the group, smiling as she held something behind her.
"What are you doing here, Shion?" Mion walked towards her, leading the rest of the group.
"Don't worry about that." Shion raised her hand to stop them before pulling out her other hand, which had a clipboard in it. "Instead, focus on this."
"What is it?" Satoko asked as everyone gathered around to look at it.
"The idea that will help Rosa start her own business."
