Buffy episode Revelations.

'Well it's about time the Council sent Faith her own Watcher.' Willow decided when she heard about Mrs. Post, whom Buffy and Faith had met last night while they were Slaying. 'Faith's been acting too cozy wth Giles lately. Training with him and everything. He's supposed to be training Buffy, dividing his time means Buffy isn't learning as much as she should be. That could put her in danger. Now I don't have to worry about that. Mrs. Post will take care of Faith and Giles can get back to concentrating on Buffy, like he's supposed to.' Satisfied with the state of things Willow drifted off to sleep.

The next night though caused Willow some anxiety.

'I don't remember being this angry in a long time.' Xander thought as he raced to see Giles and tell him what he'd just seen. 'But I'm justified in feeling angry right now. Angel is back and Buffy knows he's back and is keeping it from us. Worse, she's risking all of our lives by getting groiny with the walking dead again. Has she completely lost her mind? Or is it some kind of spell he has on her? Why is she so willing to risk all of our lives, let alone the entire world over him? What hold does he have on her that makes her think this is remotely acceptable? Bad enough she didn't tell us he's back, but now she's knows what being involved with him risks and she's still willing to risk everything to be with him?!'

Giles was equally as angry and so was Willow, but for different reasons.

'She's keeping secrets from me.' Willow thought, feeling hurt. 'I'm her best friend and she didn't tell me the love of her life is back. I'd have been happy for her, doesn't she know that? Why didn't she trust me with this?'

Unfortunately the confrontation with Buffy over the matter didn't go so well.

'Why is she accusing me of spying on her?' Xander thought. 'I explained how I came to see them, I didn't even know she was in there, let alone Angel. Why is she trying to make it my fault she made a stupid decision? Several stupid decisions. Hiding his return from us and getting involved with him again. Her decisions don't make any more sense to me then me kissing Willow does. And her excuse that she just wanted to find out why and how he was back before she told us doesn't make any sense either. Giles is Book Man. If anyone could figure it out, he could. No, her excuses are lame and she knows she's wrong, she just doesn't want to admit it, that's all.'

Giles dismissed them and as the teenagers headed out they could hear him yelling at Buffy.

"I won't remind you that the fate of the world often lies with the Slayer. What would be the point? Nor shall I remind you that you've jeopardized the lives of all that you hold dear by harboring a known murderer. But sadly, I must remind you that Angel tortured me...for hours...for pleasure. You should have told me he was alive. You didn't. You have no respect for me, or the job I perform."

Willow overheard them and was horrified. 'That wasn't Angel!' She thought. 'Doesn't Giles understand that? It was Angelus! Now he's just being mean, like Xander. They're both being mean. Giles should just get over it already! Angel isn't Angelus!' Buffy had already left the library, as hurt by Giles' accusation as she was by what she considered Xander's insensitivity to her feelings. Not to mention, the jealousy she'd accused him of during that so called intervention of the theirs. Which is why she didn't see Giles' eyes flash and he didn't know why he never brought up being tortured again.

Xander was playing pool at the Bronze later and trying to sort out his feelings over everything that was happening. He sort of carried on a half conversation with Faith, neither of them really paying attention to what the other was saying.

'I kissed Willow again. Why? Let's think about this, she said she had a headache, she was rubbing her temples, I used to rub her temples back when we'd study together. I was just trying to help her. So why did that become a kiss?' He tuned back into what Faith was saying.

" - Having secret meetings and keeping secrets from me!"

"We're not having secret meetings. I was hunting last night and saw something at Crawford Mansion, where Angelus was holed up. I went to check it out and saw Buffy kissing Angel. We had an intervention with her. Tried to get her to understand how wrong hiding him being back was, letting alone getting involved with him again. She insists he's all better. But all we've got is her word on that."

"And she lied, at least by omission, so not credible where he's concerned."

"Not after everything that happened especially."

"Then I say we slay." Faith said.

"Better safe then sorry never applied so we'll." Xander agreed and the two headed for Crawford Mansion. Then there was a battle with Mrs. Post, who turned out to be a fake and just wanted the Glove of Mynneghan for herself and tried to kill them all. And Angel went unstaked.

Willow confronted Xander afterwards.

"You were going to kill Angel!" She accused him.

"We were going to dust a vampire. A proven danger."

"Angel's not like that! He has a soul!"

"Damn it, Willow when are you going to get this though your head? Vampires aren't people, they're monsters. Having a soul cozied up to a demon doesn't change that fact. It just makes it a reverse exorcism and sets the soul free!" And he turned away from her, frustrated at her refusal to understand.

"You stay away from Angel, Xander and you don't ever try to kill him again! Understand me?" Willow ordered. Neither saw his eyes flash and Angel went unstaked.
