(Authors Note: Hello dearest readers! I'm so sorry for not posting this chapter sooner but I promise that I haven't forgotten about this story. Oh no, I'm still quite focused on it when I'm not working on other projects. I've also been playing Skyrim some more in order to draw more inspiration for this story. Regardless, I hope you're enjoying the story thus far because I certainly enjoy writing it for all of you. Until we meet again, stay safe and stay awesome!)

-2nd of First Seed-

Xana awoke to Brii's soft crying and was about to get up and check on her when she was gently pushed back onto the bed by her mate. "Nid, dii brit fahliil. I'll tend to our kiir. You lie back down and rest. If she needs feeding, I'll wake you."

Not wanting to argue with her husband, she tiredly nodded and flopped back onto her pillow, while Odahviing slipped out of bed and approached the cradle where his tiny daughter rested within. With the utmost tenderness and care, he gently picked her up and began to nuzzle her fuzzy, little head and softly speak in his native tongue, "Zu'u het mal gein. Bormah los het."

Upon hearing her Father's voice, Brii instantly calmed down and opened her eyes to look up at him. She had one ruby eye like Xana and one sky blue eye like Odahviing, and both of her pupils were slanted and draconic-looking. Her family always marveled at her eyes and would often compare them to precious gems, for they sparkled with newfound wonder at everything and everyone.

Meeting his daughter's adoring gaze, Odahviing warmly smiled, "Drem yol lok, mal dovah."

Brii stared up at him in admiration and happily wiggled in his arms, which caused him to chuckle. From where she was lying on the bed, Xana tiredly opened one of her eyes and smiled at their adorable interaction. She always knew Odahviing would make a wonderful Bormah and he demonstrated that trait on a daily basis. Even when he was in his true form, he'd help care for their daughter to the best of his abilities. However, Brii wasn't brought outside often due to the fact that she was so little and the weather was still bitterly cold. But for the few minutes Xana did bring her outside, Odahviing ensured that she was warm and well guarded.

-Later-

Brii was currently being nursed as Xana and Odahviing sat at the dining table with Swims-To-Sea, Runs-To-Shore and Renessie. They planned to start packing their bags for their upcoming trip to Blackwind for Shastan and Marbella's wedding. Of course, they would also be stopping by Riften to attend Sondas and Tormir's wedding. It was convenient that their ceremony was on the 9th of First Seed because Shastan and Marbella's would be on the 23rd. Thankfully, they were planning on staying in Blackwind for a few weeks so Brii could finally be introduced to her grandparents, uncles and aunt. Also, this would give Xana's family plenty of time to bond with their niece/granddaughter. From all the letters she had received over the last few weeks, they were eagerly looking forward to the visit.

During this time, Sea and Shore had talked about informing their parents of their marriage to Renessie. In truth, they hated keeping it a secret from them and she too regretted that they had to lie about it all this time. While they may be willing to inform Tenova and Flower-Song, Renessie had begged her mates not to confront her family. As far as they knew, she ran away never to return to Blackwind. In truth, she was terrified of confronting them for they were not the friendliest Argonians and were rather cruel towards her. Both Sea and Shore agreed not to speak to her family or even inform them that she would be in Blackwind for a few weeks. No. The less they knew, the better. In their letters, both Sea and Shore never mentioned Renessie for fear of their parents informing her family of her location. In truth, Tenova and Flower-Song didn't even know she had eloped with their sons. But they would in a few days to come.

As she continued to nurse Brii, Xana looked over at her brothers' and sister-in-law and asked, "Are you three nervous about what our parents will say?"

They all gave a nod before Sea emitted a sigh and answered, "Yea...But we have to talk with them and tell the truth. We don't want to live a lie, nor do we want to deny them seeing their grandchildren. We just want them to understand why it had to be this way."

Renessie placed a hand over his and offered a gentle smile, "And I don't want our hatchlings to miss out on seeing their grandparents."

"Wait, are you…"

At Xana's implication, she shook her head and lightly chuckled, "No, not yet. While your brothers' and I have been trying for months now, we've yet to conceive any hatchlings. I blame the colder weather, but it could just be ill luck. Regardless, we're not in an immediate rush. But if it does happen, we'll be overjoyed."

"As will I," she replied with a curt nod. Looking down, Xana noticed that Brii was intensely staring up at her while she continued to nurse, "My goodness, you have such a piercing gaze for one so small. You obviously get that trait from your Bormah."

At that, Odahviing chuckled and wrapped an arm around her waist, "She seems to be waiting for you to do something. Perhaps she thinks you'll turn into a dovah like me."

"Is that so? You want to see me turn into a dovah?" The tiny infant merely blinked in response while continuing to suckle as her tail lightly twitched here and there. "Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, sweetheart, but Monah can't do that. I'd like to...but I can't."

Odahviing leaned closer to his mate and tenderly nuzzled her ear, "Xana, you're already beautiful in my eyes." He then warmly smiled down at their daughter, "Your Monah is the most divine creature to have ever walked the land. And I know you will grow to be as beautiful as she is, dii mal dovah." Brii gave her Bormah a gummy smile as she continued to nurse, to which he then offered her one of his fingers to grab, which she did.

"So, when do you both plan to take her up to see the Greybeards," Swims-To-Sea asked with an amused smirk at their adorable exchange.

Xana lightly touched Brii's wispy, red hair and replied, "After we return from Blackwind. By then, the summit won't be nearly as cold as it currently is, and she'll be a bit older. I honestly can't wait to introduce her to Paarthurnax because her Bormah is currently the only dragon she's ever seen."

"Oh, that will definitely be an interesting encounter," Shore chuckled.

"I'm hoping so."

At the forlorn look their sister had, Sea asked, "You okay?"

"Hmm? Oh, yes I'm fine. I just had a random thought."

"What about," Renessie inquired as she got up to brew some tea over the fire.

*sigh* "About my birth Father...Mom and Dad mentioned that he joined the Legion after Alua's death. Maybe after we return from Blackwind, I'll travel to Solitude and ask the officers if they've heard of him. Hopefully someone there will know where I can find him."

"What was his name again?"

"Sevan Telendas," she answered with a sad smile. "He used to be a guard in Blackwind. I wish he would have at least reached out to me while I was growing up."

"Maybe he thought it was best not to," Shore replied with a shrug.

"Maybe...But I won't know unless I ask him myself. Assuming he's still alive out there," she stated before smiling down at her tiny daughter, "At least you don't have to question where you came from, little one."

*gurgle*

"Why yes, you did come from your Bormah and I. Granted, you'll hear this story again when you're older, but for now, I'll try to summarize it as best as I can: You see, your Bormah was once a fearsome and loyal follower of Alduin."

*gurgle*

"Oh? Who is Alduin? Well, he was the oldest and strongest of the dovah. Black were his scales and blazing red were his eyes. He was known as the World Eater: cruel, wicked and heartless, but very powerful, cunning and strong. Of course, he wasn't strong enough to defeat me," she stated with an air of pride, making her siblings gaze on and listen in awe, while Odahviing sat beside her with admiration in his eyes.

"No, Alduin was rather weak in the end, for I had battled him atop the Throat of the World and greatly wounded his pride. He fled to Skuldafn where he thought he could recover his strength, but lo, I was able to recruit your Bormah's assistance and chase him down. He thought he could then flee to Sovngarde, but I entered the Nord afterlife, determined to finish him. When I confronted him again, I shouted him down and delivered justice; thereby, destroying the World Eater and saving Tamriel from his unrelenting hunger."

*gurgle*

"Oh? How did I recruit your Bormah and persuade him to assist me? Well, I'll tell you," she smiled as she suddenly felt Odahviing's hand slide down her hip and squeeze her inner thigh. "My mentor, Paarthurnax, informed me that the only way to know where Alduin had fled to would be to ask one of his followers. He told me of one that he knew of and instructed me to call out his name in order to summon him. Of course, being a follower of Alduin meant he'd be dangerous. If I was going to question him safely, I would need to set a trap for him."

She felt Odahviing squeeze her inner thigh as a playful sort of warning, but this only encouraged her to continue her tale, "The only place I knew that could successfully hold a dovah was Dragonsreach palace in Whiterun. I had to convince the Jarl to allow me to lure a dovah into his palace, which he agreed to on the condition that I dealt with him should he try to attack the city. Once the trap was set, I stepped out onto the great porch and shouted your Bormah's name to draw him into my trap. As expected, he came and accepted my challenge; but when he became ensnared, he was quick to deceive Alduin."

*gurgle*

"What happened after Alduin was defeated? Well, your Bormah and I fell in love. I honestly wasn't expecting it to happen, but I found myself becoming quite attached and attracted to him in the short amount of time we had known each other. And you, dii mal dovah, were the result of our love. I hope that'll satisfy your curiosity for the time being."

At her statement, Brii just continued to stare up at her Monah while she leisurely nursed, to which both of her parents looked on in adoration.

-Later that evening-

Placing Brii into her cradle for the night, Xana felt Odahviing playfully nipping her neck while fondling her breasts from behind. "Mmm, and what has you so aroused, my love?"

"You," he breathed out her name in a deep, lustful tone. "I'm aroused by you, Xana. The story you told our daughter earlier ignited a fire within me. I'm merely falling in love with you all over again." He unlaced her bodice and removed the offending fabric from her shoulders, to which he feathered kisses along her collar bone, "Take off your gown. Now…"

She emitted a soft moan and did just that before also removing her undergarments and setting them aside. Almost immediately afterwards she felt Odahviing's hands around her waist and his lips upon her neck. "Mmm, Snow Hunter Wing…"

"Dii brit fahliil," he groaned and followed her to the bed where she turned around and fell back onto the soft mattress, pulling him down on top of her in the process. Odahviing emitted a chuckle as she began to kiss his neck and rake her nails along his spine, while one of her legs wrapped around his. He responded by fulfilling her wanton needs by sensually licking and nipping at her neck, while fondling her delicious mounds, to which he then trailed kisses over her soft skin and lapped at the sweet nectar that had begun to leak from her nipples. With a gasp, Xana then emitted a mewl of pleasure as he suddenly latched onto one of her nipples and took an inquisitive suckle of her milk.

"Mmm, Odahviing.."

Moving to her adjacent breast, he repeated the same action as a means to make it even and devote equal attention to both of them.

Afterwards, he slowly licked a trail down her chest and abdomen before parting her legs and going down on her. Although his tongue wasn't as long as it normally is, he didn't let that little difference deter him from pleasuring his mate. On the contrary, it only encouraged him because he now had to work hard for his dinner (so to speak). Burying his face in her entrance and plunging his tongue as far as he could, Odahviing lavished her sweet taste and muffled cries of euphoria. Xana had to cover her mouth to prevent herself from screaming out his name as she arched her back and gasped as he suddenly began swirling his tongue over her sensitive nub. 'Holy Akatosh!'

With her insides now slick and ready for him, Odahviing stalked back up to her and slowly inserted his thick, firm shaft into her moist entrance, to which he then started to glide in and out of her in a steady, pleasurable pace while passionately kissing her neck and whispering her name.

After nearly half an hour of bliss, both Xana and Odahviing were brought over the edge. She emitted a cry of pleasure as he bit down on her neck and heavily dispersed thick torrents of his seed into her warm chalice. When it was over, their bodies were covered in sweat, scratches and bite marks, but they didn't care. Brushing a strand of hair from Xana's face, Odahviing smiled down at her and placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "I love you, dii brit fahliil. Divines, I love you."

"And I love you, my handsome dovah."

-7th of First Seed-

Upon loading the remaining supplies within the wagon, Xana and her family did another quick check of the manor to make sure everything was secure and locked up. The non-replaceable/ sentimental items were safely secured within the cellar which was then covered by a series of crates. All the windows had been blocked off and all the doors had been locked. Xana even placed rune spells all around the perimeter so as to ward off any potential thieves.

As she finished hitching Braum to the wagon, Xana suddenly heard the familiar sound of a dragon approaching the homestead. Being in his dovah form, Odahviing protectively stood beside his tiny kiir (who was currently lying in a fur-lined flower basket) and emitted a warning roar to the intruder, but still the dragon appeared and circled overhead. All the commotion caused Brii to cry, to which, Xana approached and gently picked her up before placing her within the hide carrier across her chest, hoping it would calm her down. Thankfully, it did.

The young Dunmer warily looked up at the unknown dovah while keeping one hand across the carrier and the other ready with a destruction spell should he decide to attack. He suddenly landed atop the roof and stared at her with piercing yellow eyes. By the green scales along his body, the crest atop his head and the large, flat tail, he was easily recognized as a blood dragon. However, he had a unique characteristic that set him apart from other blood dragons: it was a large, gaping scar along the left side of his upper maw, to which most of the scaly flesh was torn off, exposing his fangs.

Xana glanced up and calmly asked him, "Wo los hi?"

He tilted his frilled head at the young Dunmer, but before he could answer, Odahviing spoke, "Strunahfaas, why have you come here?" Judging from his tone, it was obvious he didn't trust this dragon.

"You know him," Xana curiously asked while maintaining her spell.

"Geh, I do," he snarled while not taking his eyes off the intruder. "Next to myself and Paarthurnax, he was one of Alduin's most loyal followers...and one of the most unpredictable dovah's I've ever encountered."

A rumbling laugh suddenly emitted from the blood dragon as he looked upon the unlikely couple, "Oh, come now, Odahviing. Let us not quarrel about the past. Doesn't everyone deserve a second chance?"

"That depends if the individual is willing to change for the better. Now, I'll ask you again: why have you come here?"

"Why, to congratulate you and the Dovahkiin on the birth of your kiir of course."

The crimson dragon emitted a low growl while firmly keeping himself between his family and this newcomer.

"How did you hear about our child," Xana inquired while narrowing her ruby gaze at him, to which his eyes suddenly fixed on her:

"Much like Alduin's defeat, the birth of a new dovah was sensed among our kind. I had to see it for myself." He then glanced at the carrier across her breast, "Your kiir rests within, correct? Would you permit me to see it?"

"Nid," Odahviing snapped and bared his sharp teeth at the newcomer, "You shall not gaze upon our daughter!"

"Nii los aan mon ruz," he questioned with a sinister smirk across his face. "Til los ni pogaan dovah vahdin's ahst Taazokaan. Zu'u fod wahl ek dii kiim fod rek bo do bok."

At his statement, Xana clutched her baby closer to her breast while Odahviing immediately took off in a rage and charged at Strunahfaas, to which he dismounted from the roof and flew higher into the sky as a means to dodge the flames that were sure to come out of the crimson dragon's maw.

Meanwhile, Swims-To-Sea, Runs-To-Shore and Renessie were taking cover in the stable. Their bows and swords were in the wagon and out of reach at the moment, but Xana had gestured for them to take cover just in case. She too hurried over to the stable with Brii safely tucked away in the carrier. While she wanted to shout that damn dragon down, she couldn't risk harming her mate, nor risk the lives of her family.

Glancing over at their sister, all three Argonians asked, "What did he say?"

Xana protectively cradled her baby and answered, "He threatened to take Brii as a mate when she comes of age because apparently there aren't many female dragons left in Tamriel."

Shocked, they all emitted a *hiss* of anger at that. How dare he make such an appalling statement!
