"So why were you following us?" A girl that appeared to be the Yamanaka heiress asked a pale boy in a crop top and black pants. He was cursing himself as he wasn't prepared to be caught... Obviously, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out how. From the intel that he was given, she didn't have any Dōjutsu or sensory abilities that would not be visibly activated. "Not going to answer me, Sai?... That is a shame." The girl responded to his inaction while stretching in her loose-fitting clothes.
Wait she even knew his name, he couldn't let that get to him as the pair had their little standoff in one of the training grounds that the academy graduates would use. He didn't have any knowledge of any of the Yamanaka's jutsu so he couldn't speak on the weirdness in their introductions. Though he was not sure about the situation he readied himself for a fight.
"Huh, well since we are alone I might as well not hold back." She smiled sweetly at him. She crossed her arms closing her eyes in thought, all the while Sai had not said a word. The girl seemingly came up with a plan, undid the Konoha headband around her neck, and tied it in her hair as a hairband. "Don't want to lose that, he would be pissed that I lost his first one." She straightened after producing a kunai with something engraved on the blade, Sai did not recognize the language used, however. Twirling it on her finger she threw it at him.
The kunai came in hot but he was able to deflect it, taking out one of his own. When he did however a flash of white overtake his vision as he felt his legs being kicked from under him. Falling backward he found the girl standing above him, her bringing the weapon down onto his chest. In that split second, he summoned a reasonable amount of chakra, a bird dive-bombing the pair. He drew it in between the blade and his heart, it exploding in a shower of black ink in the process. Sai then caught himself and kipped up to his feet in the same motion. Finding the situation dangerous, to say the least, he gained some distance between them. To his surprise, she did not follow and even gave him room to get back to his feet.
He had no choice in the matter of hand-to-hand, he couldn't follow her attacks with her apparent instant travel, and he had no faith in his taijutsu in the face of her confidence. He grabbed at this back expecting to find something that was not there. "Looking for this?" The girl said, revealing a scroll half her length from behind her. "You are over-reliant on these things, although it is good to have your specialties." She said using the item for support while leaning on it, twirling the kunai again. "This would be so much easier for the both of us if you just surrender, there is no honor in fighting a losing battle." When she finished however her face twisted into one of pure rage. "I guess a member of Root would not know about that, huh?" The statement brought new light to the situation, it appeared even if he had gotten away there was no way he would have had a life after today. The girl in some respects appeared to him as an executioner.
Resigning himself to defeat he defiantly prepared for whatever outcome awaited him raising his kunai in a fighting stance for round two. The girl collected several Shuriken from the pouch strapped to her leg, throwing them at a staggered pace. The Shuriken were easy enough to deal with as they came at him one by one, but what he did not realize was the fact that she threw her kunai first and higher than the others. He looked at the girl offering him a shrug with a hold on his scroll. His instincts took over dodging a kunai being dropped on his head. Looking up he was surprised by an exact copy of the girl.
"Rasengan" The copy shouted as a swirling ball of chakra appeared in her hand, catching it in time he was able to use the substitution jutsu replacing himself with one of the three logs that were being used as target practice it exploding on impact. Sai was not in the position to rest however, a third copy appeared where the kunai landed and came towards him in a dead sprint.
She poised her middle and index finger in both hands. "Two palm." She muttered as both pairs of appendages connected with his torso. "Four palm." Another volley of fingers connecting differently from the first two points of contact. Another round of doubled and painful contacts were made, this continued until she got up to sixty-four in one round. Sai's vision distorted after that and he didn't notice an open palm being placed on his stomach, but he did hear what she said next. "Palm explosion." With that said his body was not acting normally, he could feel his chakra rushing in all directions in his body as if the network was being overwhelmed by a sudden change, and his vision began to fade. The last thing he saw as he flew backward parallel to the ground was his opponent with a fist primed, her body covered in black vein-like markings. A sickening crack reverberated in his ears, and then there was nothing.

About a hour later Shizune the apprentice and assistant to the Hokage was on her way to Kage's office with a registry of the traffic that came in and out of Konoha in the last couple of days that Haruno Sakura had brought before heading out with her friend Ino. She stopped in her tracks as she heard a trail of voices coming her way. It seems that her sibling student Sakura had returned from the lunch break she had taken, but what surprised her was that she was accompanied by two other people. "-runo-san I can't just turn it off and on, this jutsu does not work like that." Shizune was surprised by a voice that sounded like Ino calling Sakura by her family name. It all made sense as Sakura and two Inos entered her field of vision one that was being dragged in by her ear was wearing an off-the-shoulder dark blue sundress, the Konoha headband as a hair band, and the Uzumaki swirl around her neck under the first Hokage's necklace, and the other followed behind in her signature purple staring a hole in a bouquet of pink flowers. Wait, the first's necklace? The one she had given to... She had no time to dwell on it before that Ino noticed her, and with two chakra-charged strikes with the opposite middle and index fingers to the ear that looked like it was getting torn off Sakura's arm dropped limply at her side much to her surprise. "Shizu-nee long time no see!" That Ino called out running in her direction.
Taken completely off guard Shizune nearly dropped the papers in her hands as that Ino... Dressed in the dress rounded on her and took Shizune into an embrace, the moment coming almost too fast for her to process. Shizune had to readjust herself as this Ino began to tighten the hug, but after a few seconds of shared confusion, she was finally released. Though she had to confirm it she had an idea who this person was. Before she could, however, the girl noticed the miniature pig sniffing at her heels before nudging her to the approval of the girl.
"Tonton, I guess you noticed, didn't you?" Ino? Said picking up the pig. "I thought that I could at least keep my chakra hidden for a while longer." The girl finished while hugging the small animal, she then whispered so that only the two of them could hear. "Thank you for always looking after them for all these years, but now that I am here I want to help... Can I?" The pig in a vest cocked her head at Ino? Before squealing her delight.
While this interaction happened Sakura didn't know why her arm was numb nor the reason that the chakra was vacant all she could gather was the visible chakra at the points of her friend's double's finger. She was confused at why a technique that was only seen done by a certain clan would manifest itself in an outsider, and no amount of explaining can prove that person's ability possible even with the two years of unseen training especially when it came to the dead last of their graduating year. She then turned to the perpetrator who was happily hugging Tonton without a care in the world. "Naruto." She spat out as she rushed the doppelganger with her good hand cocked into a fist.
Quickly sensing the spike in chakra the one now identified as Naruto lowered her head as soon as Sakura was about to make contact with her fist, connecting with the makeshift hair band. She slid back a couple of feet with a protective hold on Tonton, positioning in a way to absorb most of the force. Looking up her eyes flashed red with slits for pupils for a split second before turning back. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Naruto shouted with anger clear in her tone.
"What's wrong with me? What is wrong with you?" Sakura questioned not giving in.
Naruto put the pig down and pointed at Sakura accusatory. "You are the one who brought me here against my will, and you are the one who attacked me out of nowhere when I stopped to say hello to someone I hadn't seen in a while. And you put an innocent bystander in danger to do so, not to mention the property damage that could have happened if I chose to dodge." Sakura had nothing to say, choosing to hang her head. Naruto sighed, picking up the headband that fell off in the conflict, grimacing at the fist-sized dent in the forehead protector, and putting it in the pouch strapped to her leg. If she hadn't reacted, Sakura would have done some major damage. Naruto then took hold of Sakura's arm one hand with green chakra forming on the opposite one.
"Wha-" Was the universal vocalization as Naruto massaged the non-functional arm with the green chakra.
"Would you hold still, it's like you've never seen medical ninjutsu before," Naruto said with a gentle smile.
As she worked Shizune could not help but be impressed that the boy was using two very complex jutsu at the same time as if it was as simple as taking a breath. "Hey, where did you learn medical ninjutsu Naruto?" She asked the girl healing Sakura.
The girl paused as if to think out the question, cocking her head and offering a light hum. "Why is it always you?" She muttered to herself, with fondness in her tone. Finishing up with Sakura's treatment she let out a small sigh. "That's a hard question to answer." She said, turning to face Sizune brushing up her bangs to reveal her forehead to Shizune and Tonton, to mild shock. "Since I am guessing talking about my parents is still against the law, I will say this. My teacher was someone very close to us both, though she would not speak about it. I still want to learn about your uncle and her little brother who she loved so much, nee-chan." Naruto finished with a sad smile, bluffing hoping her 'Sensei' had told the Hokage about his origin, sensing both nearby.
Shizune's eyes widened while the other two looked confused. "Th-that's impossible..."
"Well as impossible as a clanless orphan with a last name, close relation with three Kage, and learned forbidden and signature jutsu created by current and former Kage." Naruto said, bringing a finger to her chin. "Then again. I would say erasing a whole clan from a village's history would be much harder, considering there are two with that clan's blood still in that village." Naruto continued with a devilish grin, playing with the symbol of the Uzumaki around her neck. "Well, I was brought here to see Lady Tsunade." She grabbed hold of a stunned Ino and Sakura walking away. "We can talk later." Naruto said as the three left a speechless Shizune, disappearing around the corner.
"I-is any that true, Naruto?" Ino asked her double.
"Which part... That I am part of a clan, or that I have a close relationship with the Hokage of my lifetime." Naruto answered casually.
"All of it." Sakura spoke sheepishly.
Naruto took her time to answer, humming all the while. "I don't know what I can and can't tell you, the laws around my parents' identity are tricky, that answer will have to wait until I talk to Lady Tsunade."
The two looked at each other before deciding to shelve that particular conversation for later. Sakura noticed something and asked Naruto about it. "Why are you using her name to address her by Naruto? Don't you usually use Baa-chan when speaking about her?"
Naruto was taken aback by the questions before bursting into a fit of laughter. "Sorry... Sorry..." Naruto took a moment to catch her breath. "That was most likely because of the genjutsu that she uses to keep the illusion of her youth. I only would use it to get to her." Naruto continued. "Oh speaking about genjutsu... Ino?" She looked at Naruto to confirm that she was listening. "You may have let it slip to his nephew that Asuma-san had gotten Kurenai Yūhi pregnant."
"What?" both of the girls shouted in response.
"To be fair, that wasn't her strongest genjutsu so I broke out of it by accident."
