Hey everyone, this is Shunya Toshiki giving you guys a new story project. Truth be told, I wanted to hold off posting any new stories until I completed at least two of my current stories, but I was excited to do this idea and wanted to post it as soon as possible.
There are several reasons for that.
One of them is that I felt the urge to work on a new Cross Ange story. I mean…Let's be honest, besides my Eternal along with Eric, Seiker, and Raggylad's own versions, there weren't any good Cross Ange stories for a while. So I wanted to revive the series on this site, in my own way of course.
Another reason is because I'm excited for…Cosmic Fury! Man…It's hard to believe that the Power Rangers series has reached its 30th anniversary. I remember watching Power Rangers growing up as a kid, but man it's hard to believe the series had reached this far.
I'm also excited that they're bringing back 6 members of the Mighty Morphin cast for it. That is going to be awesome.
So in my excitement, I wanted to work on my own 30th anniversary for the series.
Man it seems like only yesterday when I discovered the Power Rangers series, along with the Super Sentai series.
You know I didn't know that the Power Rangers series was actually an adaptation from a Japanese show. I found out about it when I was a teenager, while I was net surfing in Youtube and that's when I discovered the Gokaiger movie with Goseiger. God…That must have been over 10 years ago back when I was in middle or high school.
But after that, I became hooked by the Super Sentai series and it was thanks to that I discovered the Kamen Riders after watching that trailer of that first crossover movie with both series.
But I think that the most prominent reason why I wanted to work on this story is what happened to Jason David Frank.
(Sigh). When I first heard about it, it was so hard for me to accept. I mean…It was already sad enough that we lost Kevin Conroy, the legendary voice actor of Batman, but now we lost the guy who played Tommy. Last November was just filled with sadness.
Anyway, as a tribute to the Power Rangers series and the Super Sentai series, as well as to honor those who are no longer here with us, I post this story in their honor.
And without any further ado…Cue disclaimer!

Power Rangers Nexus Force
Chapter 1: Awakening
The planet Earth is one of many planets that exist in the universe, and beyond the universe itself are parallel dimensions that are similar and different from our own.
In one dimension, the Earth was ruined and was nearly conquered by an evil computer virus and brought humanity to the verge of extinction.
In one dimension, the dinosaurs never went extinct.
And in one dimension, the Earth was destroyed due to humanity fighting against each other in countless wars which left their planet as a contaminated wasteland. But the survivors of that dimension were able to survive by altering their bodies via genetic manipulation in order to adapt to the environment, transforming themselves into dragon-like beings and dedicated themselves into cleansing their world in order to atone for the sins of their ancestors.
Over time, the women can assume human form and give birth to many children, the men however are unable to assume human form due to absorbing too much of the energy that had polluted their world. But, they were able to live in peace without the fear of war or dangers that would threaten them.
Or so they thought. Many years ago, Aura, the one who first altered her body and is considered the Great Mother of her descendants, was captured and stolen from her people.
The one responsible for that, is the very man that destroyed their world over centuries ago, a man known as Embryo. After Embryo had left the world in ruins, he traveled to another dimension to rebuild it in his image.
Using his knowledge from the old world, Embryo was able to modify the humans in that world to use an energy source known as the Light of Mana. The reason he captured Aura is to use her to continue to power his world.
But even that is not enough and Embryo soon had another idea in mind. He would often create portals known as Singularities to draw Aura's children from their world to the other world, so they would come through it to rescue their Great Mother. But, it was a trap to lead Aura's children to be slaughtered and their carcasses to be harvested to use the energy in their bodies to continue to power Embryo's world.
Despite that fact, Aura's children continue to fly through the Singularities to save her, thus leading to a war between Embryo and the Children of Aura.
But, this wasn't the first time that a group of people had fought against Embryo. In the old world from the past, the Earth once had a group of young guardians that had defended their world from the forces of evil.
During the war that destroyed their world, these guardians once stood against Embryo's way to stop him. They fought bravely but in the end, Embryo had managed to defeat them and thought he had destroyed them all.
But one of these mighty guardians had survived and was sleeping for over hundreds of years, unaware what was happening in the outside world.
Then on the day he would awake from his long slumber, will be the day he was needed once again…
The sun was shining in the vast open sky. In the island country of Japan, the buildings and other structures were left in ruins as grass, vines, and scrub had overgrown and covered everything, even the trees and undergrowth had taken root in cracks in the pavement, turning what had once been a city promenade into shattered and broken rock, along with cars that were left to rust were blanketed in weeds.
There was even a massive and deep crater on the side of Mount Fuji as a trail of smoke appeared out of it.
On the outskirts of the city was a massive landscape filled with sand that almost rivals a desert, and in the middle of it was a massive crater filled with water and within it was a broken tower that was left in ruins and covered in vegetation.
Then on the streets of the ruined city, a song echoes throughout the area and rolling on the cracked roads and pavement was a rolling robot covered in rust and dust as the robot was rolling on the ground it gave out a message.
"This is the capital city defense. Are there any survivors? Capital city shelter #3 is still operational. We are taking refugees. Survivors, please meet at central park."
The robot had been moving and saying that message for over hundreds of years, but no one was able to hear its message as everyone in the city had perished long ago as the robot passed several skeletal remains of civilians and soldiers alike.
Life in the city may be gone, but not everything was lost.
Over hundreds of miles away from the city was a town built by the survivors of the ruined Earth.
The town was built upon two large islands that were surrounded by cliffs and a river along with several waterfalls falling from the cliffs.
Despite that it was built by human hands, the plateaus in the land showed no signs of clearing from the islands or canyons around them, the houses and buildings were carved out from the natural rock along with some modern designs mixed to them.
The stairways, overpasses, and underpasses created multiple levels though from what anyone could see in normal human height, it didn't seem to donate a particular caste like it would in the world from the past.
Instead, residential, and commercial structures intermingled as the canals flowed unhindered as they flowed through buildings and patches of trees and other greenery that seemed to have naturally taken root in whatever loose soil they could find.
There was a definite lack of regimented structure to the town but it was far from chaotic. Rather it was as if there was a perfect balance between nature and civilization in the town.
On the very edge of the town was a large tower that was broken in half with large cracks around it.
Walking on the grounds were the residents of the town which mostly consisted of women and young girls.
They were different and similar clothing which consisted of short robes, tunics, and loincloth.
They appear to be normal humans, but the one difference they had is that they had dragon-like wings and tails on their backs.
Some of them were talking amongst themselves while laughing, some were hanging up wet laundry on a clothesline, and some of the children were laughing and playing with each other, some were even flying in the sky thanks to their wings.
Flying in different parts of the world, were large dragon-like beings flying in the skies.
On the other side of the town were smaller but tall islets that were connected by bridges, the one on the middle had a feudal temple which had a long staircase.
Inside one of the temple's rooms was a 16-year-old girl leaning on the opened window looking at the town outside.
Along with her wings and tail, she has long black hair that reaches to her back that clashes with her pale skin, and has beautiful blue eyes that are almost like sapphires. She was wearing a short pink robe that left her flanks exposed, she was also wearing a pair of white thigh high stockings and matching arm length handless gloves that complimented her robe while she also wore a red ankle length red skirt and a golden crown that resembles a pair of dragon wings. She also had a red jewel hung suspended on her forehead. In her hand she grasped a katana.
Her name was Salamandinay, the Princess of the Freyja and Captain of the Royal Guard.
Seeing the town being peaceful like this, Salamandinay couldn't help but smile, as she can't afford to feel peaceful right now.
She then hears a knock on her door and she soon turns to it before someone calls out to her.
"Lady Salamandinay. The meeting is about to begin." A girl said behind the door, and Salamandinay nodded.
"Alright. I'll be right there." She said before she walked to the door.
Salamandinay was now in a large room seated behind a silk curtain along with 8 individuals who were the acting leaders of her world, the Shrine Maidens and the High Priestess.
There were red pillars on the walls in the room along with torches and lamps that lit up the room.
They were holding a meeting to discuss an important matter regarding their world, along with an important figure who had been stolen from them many years ago.
The High Priestess spoke first.
"How many did we lose after the Singularity closed?"
"About 35 of our brothers and sisters had flown into the False Earth. But we hadn't heard anything from them, so we could only presume the worst."
The other Shrine Maidens and the High Priestess were left saddened by that.
"And yet more of our people had been slaughtered. Damn that, Embryo."
"You must calm down." The High Priestess told her. "I understand your anger, but you can't let it consume you. We must be better than that."
"Yes…Of course, I apologize."
"It is alright." The High Priestess nodded. "For now, we must devise a new plan before the next Singularity opens."
"Actually…" One of them spoke out as the others turned to her. "I do have a suggestion. Only if you'll allow me to say it."
"Granted. Please, what is on your mind?" The High Priestess said.
"Thank you. I know this is a bold plan, and you may not agree with it, but I think we should stop flying into the Singularities." She told the High Priestess and the Shrine Maidens.
"What?! Are you saying we should abandon our Great Mother?" One of them asked.
"No, I'm not." She told her. "But think about it. The Singularities are nothing but traps for us. If we stop flying through them it would effectively cut off Embryo's supply Dracunium, and thus the False Humans would begin to lose their ability to use Mana which would weaken their defenses. If we wait for the right moment, we might be able to take Aura back."
"That does sound ideal. But there is a flaw to that plan." Another Maiden said getting the others' attention. "How long will it take for Embryo to lose his supply of Dracunium, months, years. Even if we stop flying through the Singularities, Embryo still has enough Dracunium to power his world for some time. And even if we do that, there's no telling how Embryo would retaliate if we do that."
"I…suppose that's true. Forgive me." She said as she lowered her head in shame.
"It is alright. But, High Priestess, is there anything you wish to say?" She asked as the others turned to the High Priestess.
The High Priestess was in deep thought before she turned to Salamandinay.
"Salamandinay, how is the progress of the Ryuu-Shin-Ki?" She asked, and Salamandinay nodded.
"It is a slow progress. But with some time I feel like they would be ready before Embryo would initiate another plan." She answered, and the Shrine Maidens were left whispering among themselves.
"Very well." The High Priestess nodded. "Then we will wait until they are ready."
"Thank you, Your Holiness." Salamandinay bowed her head.
Unknown to Salamandinay and the others is that a robotic spycam was spying on them as it was clinging on the wall while sending live footage to a different location.
The footage was seen in a large computer screen that was in a base.
The base had a large computer with a big screen with a chair and had a large 'N' symbol on the floor with the numbers 1 to 6 around it, and has a few large doors two that were on the far side of the computer and one was in the far back, and there was also a platform that was colored white.
Then appearing in front of the computer was a small digital lifeform.
The digital life form has the form of a white fairy with gold wings. This is Pixel, the base's artificial intelligence.
Pixel was looking at the footage of the Shrine Maidens and the High Priestess conversation.
"Seems like they're still having trouble with Embryo again." Pixel said.
Then a holographic keyboard appeared in front of Pixel, she then types on it to see different footage of the people in the town along with different types of Aura's Children who were in their dragon forms flying in the sky or feeding on the contaminated plants in different areas. She then changes to other settlements in different parts of the world.
"Looks like there hasn't been any trouble so far." Pixel said before she spotted a mother hugging her daughter as they laughed and smiled together, seeing that Pixel couldn't help but smile herself. "Even after 500 years, I still can't help but smile to watch these sort of things."
The keyboard then disappeared and Pixel turned to a cryo-pod that was placed in front of the computer. Inside the pod was a man whose face couldn't be seen due to the fog on the glass as the pod was reading his heartbeat and brain waves activity.
"I wish you can see this, Dean." Pixel said.
She had been watching over him for over hundreds of years and while his readings were stable, she can't help but wonder if he'll ever wake up.
"Well…I hope when you do wake up, this whole war with Embryo will be over." Pixel said.
(Meanwhile)
In outer space, a large object was approaching the Earth.
The object was shaped like a sphere that was colored red with mechanical parts underneath the surface. The sphere almost resembles a small planet as it was a quarter of the moon's size.
The object also had a symbol on the front of it. The symbol has a dark head of a frightening silhouette with large red eyes.
The metal planet was actually a spaceship and an artificial satellite. Inside the satellite's bridge were the people controlling it. This is the Kaiser Sphere.
The bridge consists of several computers, and had a large screen that showed the planet Earth right in front of the orbital base with another screen above it, and had a throne in the end of the room.
The base's crew were alien-like droids that had white heads with four long tentacles on the cheeks and on the top of their heads, they also had a red gem on their foreheads, their bodies were colored red with black vest-shape armor with white forearms and boots, and they also had the base's symbol on the front.
These were the Xedroids.
Their commanders had different appearances.
One had black armor with gold and red markings, he was wearing gold boots which had crescent shape edges on the top pointed downward while the front was pointed upward. He also had two large shoulderguards with three black blades on the bottom with the top having the base's symbol. His helmet had a silver faceplate with a large crescent shape piece on the front of his eyes which had sharp teeth in the middle with blue colored tips on the ends and visor left his right red eye exposed.
This is General Swartz.
One had a mechanical body that was colored pale green with tubes around his body with long tubes hanging on his shoulders and some of the tubes were colored purple. He also had silver armor parts on his shins and had large metal claws on the tips of his left hand. His head has a glass cover around it and has bright red eyes.
This is Cyber, the base's head scientist and technical advisor.
There was one person in the base who was placed on a special spot in the bridge which was the throne as he sat on it.
He had a red and black colored body with gray and red armor that was on his chest that reached to his upper arms. He also had a purple light on the middle of his chest. He had sharp and menacing red eyes with a small red crystal on his forehead and bladed edges on the top of his head. He also wears a red cape on his shoulders that reach to his legs.
This is Prince Crimson, the base's head commander.
The Prince and his subordinates were looking at the blue planet right in front of their base.
"So this is the planet Earth. It's truly as beautiful as I heard." Prince Crimson said.
"Hmph. If you ask me, it's a waste of time coming here." Cyber stated. "This little mudball holds no strategic value, and its resources are pitiful at best."
"True. But don't forget the Emperor had entrusted this task to us. Are you really going to question his judgment?" General Swartz asked.
"No, of course not." Cyber said before he turned to Prince Crimson. "But if I may be bold, Your Highness, I suggest that we send the full force of our army."
"And why would you consider that?" Prince Crimson asked.
"Well, from what I heard the primitives of that planet had evolved using genetic modifications, thanks to that they are able to transform into large flying beasts." Cyber said as the screen showed the Children of Aura flying in the sky in dragon and/or human form. "Thus, I feel like we should show them the full force of the Kaiser Empire by sending our army to attack."
The Prince hummed in thought before he answered.
"A sound strategy, but…" The prince turns to General Swartz. "General Swartz, do you have any suggestions?"
The general nodded to the prince.
"Indeed, Your Highness. Even if the lifeforms on that planet had evolved somewhat, sending the full force of our army is unnecessary and will be a complete waste of resources. A single troop deployment along with one of our commanders should be more than enough." General Swartz answered, earning a huff from Cyber.
"Hmph…Very well. Commander Snider, enter!" The prince calls out.
Hearing his call, the said commander soon entered the room.
Commander Snider's body was made entirely out of black crystals with metal boots and armor on his chest and shoulders, and has crystal spikes on his shoulders and head and has red eyes, his left arm was in the form of a cannon.
"Yo-Yo Yo! Commander Snider, at your service, Your Highness." Snider said before he bowed his head to the prince.
"You will lead our advanced troops and show those inferior lifeforms the might of the Kaiser Empire." Prince Crimson told the commander.
"As you wish." Snider said before he left the room.
The Prince then turns to the little blue planet in front of their base.
"Now then, how will those inferior lifeforms resist us?" Prince Crimson said.
Unknown to the inhabitants of the Kaiser Sphere, that a satellite was spying on their base.
The satellite had a futuristic design and was colored purely white with golden solar arrays shaped like thunderbolts, it had the 'N' symbol on it.
The satellite was aiming its camera on it as it sent a transmission to a hidden base on Earth.
Inside the mysterious hidden base, the computer's screen turned red and sounded an alarm as the word 'Warning' appeared on it.
Pixel soon appeared in front of the computer to see what was wrong. Pixel saw the alarm was coming from one of their satellites that was above Earth's atmosphere.
"This can't be good." Pixel said in worry before a digital keyboard appeared in front of her as she types on it to check what the warning was about.
The computer then showed the said satellite's footage of the Kaiser Sphere as it was approaching the Earth.
Which would only mean one thing for Pixel, an alien invasion.
"Oh no…" Pixel mutters.
Unknown to Pixel, is that the readings on the Cryopod begin to change.
In the town, the Children of Aura are enjoying their day of peace before they stop as they notice that the sky begins to darken while a large shadow begins to blanket over them. The inhabitants of the temple also notice it as well before they all look towards the sky.
The Children of Aura looked up and to everyones' shock, they saw it was the Kaiser Sphere as it blocks out the sun and looms above them.
Standing on the temple grounds, Salamandinay was deeply in shock by this.
"What is happening?" She said.
Then a beam of red light shoots down from the Kaiser Sphere as it hits on the ground and in the center of the town. When the beam disappeared, it revealed Commander Snider along with a squad of Xedroids who were armed with swords with a blade on both ends.
The Commander then looks at the inhabitants of the town as some of them look at him and his squad in fear and confusion.
Then one of the townspeople calls out to them.
"Who are you?"
Commander Snider chuckles before he waves at them.
"Hello, you inferior lifeforms, I'm Commander Snider of the Kaiser Empire! And at this moment, this planet belongs to us!" He declared.
"What? You can't do that." One of the townspeople stated.
"Oh, but we can. In fact, how about we show you?" Commander Snider said as he aimed his arm cannon and the Xedroids did the same as they aimed their swords. "Fire!"
Snider along with the Xedroids soon begin to fire energy blasts at the townspeople. The Children of Aura were then forced to run as they screamed in fear.
"Hahaha! That's it, run!" Snider said as he and his troops marched forward as they continued to fire.
Salamandinay soon saw explosions appearing in the town before two of her subordinates approached her.
"Lady Salamandinay, the town is under attack! What should we do?"
Salamandinay then turns to them.
"We must evacuate and defend our city. Kaname, you're with me, we need to evacuate the townspeople. Naga, you head into the temple and call for reinforcements." She told them.
"Yes, Milady!" Naga said as she ran to the temple.
Salamandinay and Kaname soon opened their wings and flew to the town to help their people.
"Please be safe." Salamandinay said.
Inside the base, Pixel was live footage of the town being attacked on the large computer.
The guards were evacuating the people, and some even tried to fight the Xedroids but they were easily overpowered. Some of the massive dragons tried to fly in to defend the town, but the Xedroids soon brought out jetpacks and flew into the sky to battle them as they attacked around them.
Pixel then saw Commander Snider attacking with his arm cannon before he fired and unknowingly hit one of her hidden cameras which disrupted the footage.
Seeing the town being attacked deeply frustrated Pixel as she was powerless to do anything.
"Dammit…Just what can I do?" Pixel said.
Pixel then heard a beeping sound behind her, she turned around and saw it was from the cryopod and saw the words 'Nexus Red, Restoration Complete'.
"No way…" Pixel mutters before she flies to the cryopod and a holographic screen appears in front of her, and sees the man's vitals and brain waves are indeed stable now. "Talk about terrible timing. But better late than never."
Then a holographic red button appeared in front of Pixel before she pressed on it with both hands.
Then the gaps of the pod opens releasing the air and mist that was inside before the pod opens.
Pixel then flew in front of the man's face.
"Dean? Dean, wake up, please." Pixel calls out to him.
The man's hand flinches a few times before he tightly clenches before he gasps and coughs out some air before he falls to the floor as he lands on his hands and knees.
Pixel flew close to him.
"Dean! Dean, can you hear me?" Pixel asked.
He then looks up at the AI showing his face to her.
Dean appears to be a 17-year-old young man with spiky black hair and green eyes. Dean was wearing a red tank-top with black pants.
"Pixel…?" He said in confusion to see the digital pixy.
"Are you alright?" Pixel asked.
"I…I think so. But, where am I…?" Dean mutters as he looks around and recognizes the room he was in. "Wait? Am I in the base?"
"Yes. You are." Pixel said before she looked down as she was hesitant to ask him but soon raised her head. "What's…What's the last thing you remember?"
"I…I'm not…" Dean said. He had trouble remembering before it finally came back to him as it appeared in flashes in his head.
(Flashback)
"Embryo!" Dean shouted as he pointed a blaster at a man with long blonde hair.
He fired at him but then another figure deflected his shots with a sword.
"Kurt?" Dean said in shock to see him.
Then Dean and Kurt fought against each other, and Kurt won as he slashes on his chest sending him to the ground.
Kurt then picks Dean up with his hand on the latter's neck.
"Kurt…Please…" Dean pleaded to his friend before Kurt let him fall from a high building.
As he falls, Dean's vision becomes dark but saw seven black machines fly into the sky and the next thing he saw was darkness…
(End of flashback)
Dean's eyes widened to remember this before he turned to Pixel.
"Wait…The war! Embryo! What happened?!" Dean asked.
"Dean, just calm down." Pixel told her as she raised her hands.
"What happened, Pixel?!" Dean asked loudly.
Pixel was a little hesitant before she moved to the computer.
"It's best that I show you." Pixel said before Dean stood up and followed her.
Pixel brings out her holographic keyboard and types on it, then to Dean's shock he sees footage of the ruined remains of the city appearing on the screen, and despite their damaged remains and the vegetation around them, Dean was able to recognize most of these buildings and saw the broken tower in a crater.
"No…" Dean mutters.
Pixel then showed him different cities around the world that were also left in ruins.
"I'm sorry. I know this isn't what you wanted to see after waking up, but Embryo succeeded in his plan and destroyed every Dracunium reactor in the world, turning it into a contaminated wasteland." Pixel told him and Dean slowly turns to her.
"How long? How long was I?" Dean asked, and Pixel sighed but answered.
"538 years. That's how long you were in cryosleep." Dean's eyes widened before he gritted his teeth and leaned on the computer as he lowered his head.
"Then Embryo won….I've failed!" Dean shouted as he slammed his hands on the table.
"Dean…" Pixel said in sadness before she sighed. "Yes…I'm sorry. After you were injured, I had no choice but to put you in the cryopod until you could recover. I knew the process would take over a hundred years, but I didn't expect it would take this long."
"Then you should've let me sleep then…Why would you wake me up now? There's nothing left to fight for anymore." Dean said.
"You're wrong about that." Pixel said, getting his attention. "There is something to fight for."
"What do you mean by that?" Dean asked.
Pixel then showed him old footage of the town where the Children of Aura reside. Seeing that, Dean's eyes widened in shock.
"I can't fully explain right now, but the survivors were able to adapt to the Dracunium radiation and continue to live on. Life survived Dean." She told him.
"I can't believe it…" Dean mutters.
"Yeah, I was surprised at first too. But I'm afraid we have a situation though." Pixel said.
"What do you mean?" Dean asked.
Pixel types on her keyboard which showed live footage of the Kaiser Sphere and the soldiers of the Kaiser Empire attacking town.
Dean was surprised at first before he sighed.
"Alien invasion…It's always aliens." Dean said.
"Yeah. Anyway, Dean, there's people who need your help. What are you going to do?" Pixel asked.
Dean looked at the people who were being attacked by the Xedroids and saw children who were crying in fear.
Dean closed his eyes as the memories of his failure appeared in his mind once again, and well he was afraid of failing once again, he wasn't going to stand by and do nothing while innocents were in danger.
Dean opens his eyes as he hardens his resolve before he turns to Pixel.
"Do you even have to ask? I'm not going to stand by and do nothing, not while I have the power to do something about it." Dean said.
Pixel smiles to hear that answer.
"Now that's more like the Dean I know." Pixel said and with a snap of her fingers, a light cone appeared in front of Dean and appearing within it was a device.
The device was a square digital wristwatch that is colored red with three black buttons.
"My Morpher." Dean said as he looked at the device.
"Been keeping it safe for you when you were sleeping. Didn't think this is how you return to action though." Pixel said, and Dean smirks before he grabs onto the device.
"But this life is never simple." Dean said before he put it on his left wrist. "Ready the transporter."
"Already ahead of you." Pixel said as she mentally uses the computer to activate the transporter as Dean walks onto before it begins to light up.
Dean then brought the wristwatch to his chest and shouted three words.
"It's Morphin' Time!" Dean soon pressed the middle button of the wristwatch and both it and Dean began to transform as red energy appeared around his body before the transporter teleported him to the town.
"Good luck, Dean. May the Power protect you." Pixel said.
In the town, the townspeople continue to run away in fear as Commander Snider and the Xedroids continue to attack, creating explosions.
Snider couldn't help but laugh as he continued to attack the fleeing people.
"Hahaha! Man, this is why I love this job!" Commander Snider said.
Salamandinay was on the ground evacuating her people as they ran from the Xedroids.
"This way, quickly!" Salamandinay told them.
Salamandinay was about to move to another location to evacuate more people, but stopped as she heard a child crying.
She looked and saw a little girl crying as she was seated on the ground and was too scared to even move and Snider soon noticed her.
Commander Snider snickers as he aimed his arm cannon at the girl.
"Look out!" Salamandinay calls out as she rushes to the girl.
As Commander Snider charges up his cannon, Salamandinay grabs onto the girl and uses her back as a shield to protect her before Snider fires an energy shot at both of them.
Time seemed to slow down as Snider's attack was closing in on Salamandinay and the girl, and just then a figure was running towards them before they jumped over and landed behind them as he crossed his arms and took Snider's attack as it exploded in front of them.
As the smoke started to die down, Salamandinay blinked a few times before she looked and saw the figure who saved her and the girl in her arms before he lowered his arms.
He was wearing a red bodysuit with a symbol shaped like an 'N' with thunderbolt ends placed on the right side of his chest with a circle around it.
His left sleeve was colored white with a red armband, and the left side of his chest was also colored white and was shaped like a thunderbolt which was connected to his left sleeve.
He also wears a silver belt with a buckle shaped like a race car with a holster that carries a blaster on his right side with a card box on the left.
He was wearing red boots with a silver band on the top.
His helmet resembles a race car with a black visor with pointed ends going up with silver car headlights above his visor, one was in the shape of his visor while having two small circle ones beside it, and has silver car wheels on the sides of his helmet. And the mouthpiece has several black slits on it.
Lastly there was a device on his left forearm, it had a large screen device that resembles a smartphone on top with a case that was also based around a race car and has three buttons on the bottom with different symbols, the left has a phone answer symbol, the middle has a symbol of a thunderbolt, and the right has a symbol of a robot.
Salamandinay looks at him in awe as she wonders who he was while Commander Snider was in shock to see him as he recognizes the suit he was wearing.
"It can't be! A Power Ranger?! Here?!" Commander Snider said in shock.
"A Power Ranger?" Salamandinay said in confusion as she looked up at the red warrior.
The Red Ranger soon assumes his stance while Snider growls at him before he calls in some reinforcements.
"Xedroids!"
The Xedroids soon gather around their commander before they charge at the Red Ranger before he does the same. Salamandinay then carries the girl to some cover where they can be safe before she turns back to the Red Ranger to watch him fight.
The Red Ranger attacks first as he lands a kick on three Xedroids sending them to the ground, then he dodges one Xedroid's slash as he spun around and slams his elbow on the droid's chest which made it fall on top of two other Xedroids.
The Red Ranger then dodges a few more sword attacks from the Xedroids before he lands a kick on two of them and lands a few good punches on two more.
"Too easy!" The Red Ranger said.
He then spotted three Xedroids aiming their weapons at him before they fired laser blasts.
"Whoa!" The Red Ranger said before he jumps and spins in the air to avoid the laser blasts.
As he lands on the ground, he soon charges at the Xedroids who just fired at him before he slides on the ground and grabs onto their feet and throws them to the ground.
The Red Ranger soon stood up on his feet, he then spotted the other Xedroids had surrounded him as they aimed their weapons at him.
Commander Snider laughs as he moves close to the Xedroids.
"Looks like you're all out of moves!" He said.
"I wouldn't say that. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve." The Red Ranger said before he opened the card box on his belt by pulling it on the side and pulling out a card.
The card had a picture of the Red Ninja Storm Ranger with a gray background with black lines that almost formed an 'N' with a circle in the middle that was a gold-colored version of the Ninja Storm Rangers' symbol.
"Load Legendary Ranger Card!" The Red Ranger said.
Then a card slot opens up from the right side of his wrist mounted device and he soon inserts the Card into that slot before it closes, and the Red Ranger swung his left arm upward and pressed the middle button on it.
"Ninja Storm! Ranger Form!" The Red Ranger said as he transforms into the Red Ninja Storm Ranger. The Red Ranger then pulls out the Ninja Sword from his back. "Ninja Sword!"
Using the Ninja Storm Ranger's enhanced speed and agility, the Red Ranger jumped around at the Xedroids attacking them with his sword as they fell to the ground and exploded.
The Red Ranger stops moving as he sheaths his sword before he turns to the remaining Xedroids. His wrist mounted device soon appeared, and he soon brought out another Legendary Ranger Card.
It was the Red Mystic Force Ranger with the Mystic Force symbol on the back.
"Load Legendary Ranger Card! Mystic Force!" The Red Ranger said as he loaded the Card into his device. "Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
He soon transforms into the Red Mystic Force Ranger.
The Red Ranger then spread out his arms and flames soon appeared around his body which formed a flaming phoenix.
He then flies at the Xedroids and as he collides against them, the Red Ranger destroys them as an explosion appears before he jumps out of it and turns to the said explosion.
"Guess I was too hot to handle." He said before he changed back into his Base Form.
Now that the Xedroids in the area were destroyed, the Red Ranger then turns to Commander Snider.
"It's just you and me now." He said, and Commander Snider huffed.
"I'm more than enough to deal with you!" Commander Snider said.
The Red Ranger soon charges at him and Snider clicks his tongue and fires at him, and the Red Ranger dodges his fire blasts before he jumps into the and lands a few kicks on Snider's chest forcing him to stumble back.
As Snider stops stumbling, he throws a few punches and swings with his hand and arm cannon, and the Red Ranger dodges and parries his attacks before he counters by landing a elbow strike followed with a backhanded punch on his face.
The Red Ranger then lands a jumping kick on Snider's chest which sends him rolling on the ground.
"Nexus Blaster!" The Red Ranger said as he pulled out his Blaster.
The Nexus Blaster was a white blaster with a black handle with a card slot on top of the handle with a blade under the blaster.
As Snider stood up on his knee and foot, he fired at the Red Ranger and dodged his energy blasts by running on the side and fired his Nexus Blaster at Snider with red energy shots, landing a few good hits on Snider.
The Red Ranger then changed the mode of his Nexus Blaster by moving the handle to the back and the blade slid to the top as it took the form of a dagger.
"Nexus Blaster, Dagger Mode!" The Red Ranger declares before he throws the Nexus Dagger at Commander Snider as it flies towards him and slashes around Snider's body before it flies back to the Red Ranger's hand as he caught it and Snider falls on one knee before he glares at the Red Ranger.
"Damn you…" Snider growls at the Red Ranger.
The Red Ranger then changes Nexus Dagger back to its Blaster Mode.
The Red Ranger opens the card slot on his Nexus Blaster and pulls out a different Card from his card box.
The card had the same design as the Legendary Ranger Cards, the only difference was that it had a 'N' symbol on the back, and in front was another 'N' symbol that was colored gold with red energy around it.
"Load Super Charge Card!" The Red Ranger said as he inserted the Card into his Nexus Blaster before closing the card slot.
His Blaster soon charges up with red energy as he aims it at Commander Snider before he stands back up.
"Oh yeah! Two can play that game!" Snider said as he charged his arm cannon to fire at the Red Ranger.
"Nexus Blaster, Final Attack!" The Red Ranger shouted as he fired a large energy shot at Snider and the latter did the same.
Then both of their attacks clashed against each other and were on even ground, but the Red Ranger's attack managed to overpower Snider's as it broke and hit into the commander's chest.
The Red Ranger then turns away Snider as he falls to the ground and explodes, and the Red Ranger swipes his thumb on his nose.
"Morphinominal!" The Red Ranger said.
Salamandinay was left in awe to see him destroy that monster, the Red Ranger then holstered his blaster and was about to leave but Salamandinay soon called out to him.
"Wait!" The Red Rangers stop before he turns to her. "Just who are you?"
Both the Red Ranger and Salamandinay stare at each other.
In the Kaiser Sphere, word of Commander Snider's destruction soon reaches the leaders in the bridge.
"What?! The commander was destroyed?!" Crimson said as he stood up.
"Yes." General Swartz nodded. "And according to the reports, it was said-"
"I don't care about the reports!" Prince Crimson exclaimed as he stood up. "I just want results now!"
General Swartz lowered his head before Cyber spoke to the prince.
"If I may, Your Highness, I believe now is the perfect time to use my special project." Prince Crimson turns to him.
"Wait…You mean it's ready?" The prince asked and Cyber nodded.
"It is, and we can fire on your command of course." The scientist told him, and Prince Crimson chuckled.
"Then let's begin. Prepare the Kaiser Reanimator!" Prince Crimson ordered him.
"As you command." Cyber said before he moved to his spot in the base which consisted of several computer screens and round slots.
The tubes on his body begin to move as the metal parts on the end inserted into the slots, then the computer screens turn on revealing a different screen, one had a picture of Commander Snider and the location where he met his demise, and one had a picture of the Kaiser Reanimater as it charges with energy.
"Activating Kaiser Reanimator!" Cyber said as his eyes lit up.
Then the mouth on the Kaiser Sphere's symbol opens up and a large and tall laser emitter. The laser emitter was colored red with black disks around its body and the end was a large sphere with four claws pointed forward.
This is the Kaiser Reanimator.
The Reanimator soon charges up with red energy and fires a red beam to Commander Snider's remains.
The Red Ranger turns away from Salamandinay.
"Sorry, but that's classified info. But don't worry, you'll see me again." The Red Ranger told her and Salamandinay blinked in confusion.
Just when the Red Ranger was about to leave, he soon saw the red beam of energy dropping down from the sky and landed onto Commander Snider's remains.
Not long after that, Snider was restored and grew into the size of a 50-meter giant.
"Yo-Yo Yo! Guess who's back?!" The restored Snider shouted.
Both the Red Ranger and Salamandinay looked at the now giant Snider as Salamandinay looked at it in shock, the Red Ranger looked at him in annoyance.
"And of course, they always make them big. And here I am without a Zord." He said to himself.
Then the screen on his wrist mounted device turned on and revealed a live transmission of Pixel.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Dean." Pixel said through the device on his arm before the Red Ranger looked at the screen. "You didn't think I spent the last 500 years just watching you, did you?"
"Wait…So you mean?" The Red Ranger said, and Pixel nodded.
"That's right. Your Zord is good to go on your command." Pixel told him.
"Thanks, Pix! You're always the best!" The Red Ranger said before he pulled out a card from his card box, and then the device on his arm opened the card slot
It was in the same design of his Super Charge Card, except it had a picture of a red race car.
"Load Card!" The Red Ranger declared as he inserted the card into his device and closed it, and he soon pressed the right button. "Deploy, Nexus Racer Zord!"
In a large dark hangar, lights begin to turn on which reveal a giant machine inside.
The giant machine resembles a race car. It was colored purely red with a black windshield and black tires with red rims with silver headlights, and the wing is colored black.
This is the Nexus Racer Zord.
The Racer Zord's headlights lit up as the Zord began to rev up its engine.
In front of the Nexus Racer Zord was a large gate with a round lock that has the 'N' symbol on it.
The lock soon unlocks and splits in half and the gate splits open as it creates a tunnel of energy with a bridge in front of the Zord.
Then the Nexus Racer Zord soon entered the tunnel and raced down on the bridge before a red portal appeared in the end as the Zord went into it.
Commander Snider then aimed his arm cannon at the Red Ranger and Salamandinay, but coming to their aid was the Nexus Racer Zord as it rams onto the giant commander which sends him rolling away from the town.
Salamandinay was surprised to see the giant race car.
"Nice! Just in time!" The Red Ranger said before he jumps and entered the Nexus Racer Zord.
The Red Ranger was seated on a chair as he soon entered the Zord's cockpit before the hatch behind him closed.
The cockpit was colored gray with red markings and has a red 'N' on the hatch. The Zord's controls consist of a black steering wheel with red buttons and a car lever, on the bottom was a gas pedal and beside the steering wheel was a slot big enough for the Red Ranger's device.
He soon detaches his device from his arm and attaches to that slot.
"Access controls!" He said as the screen on his device turned on and said 'Nexus Racer Zord, Controls Accessed'.
The Red Ranger pushed down the lever and pressed down the gas pedal with that the Nexus Racer Zord soon drove towards the now giant Snider.
"Oh please! Like that toy car of yours can beat me!" Snider said as he fired at the Zord.
The Red Ranger turns his wheel, and his Racer Zord avoids Snider's energy blasts.
"Fire, lasers!" The Red Ranger said as he pressed on a button on his steering wheel.
The Nexus Racer Zord soon fired red lasers at Snider with its headlights, and the lasers landed some good hits on Snider's body as sparks appeared in front of him.
"Ow! Ow! That hurt!" Snider cries out in pain.
"Then let's see how you'll handle this! Spin Attack!" The Red Ranger said as he spun his steering wheel to the side rapidly.
Then the Nexus Racer Zord leans on its front wheels as it spins around rapidly and the Zord slams his back wheels on Snider's head sending the giant commander rolling on the ground.
"Ow!"
The Red Ranger then pulled out a Card that had a picture of the Racer Zord's Battle Mode.
"Load Card!" He said before his device's card slot opens up and he soon loads the Zord Card into before it closes. "Activate Battle Mode!"
Then the words 'Activating Battle Mode' appeared on his device's screen.
The Nexus Zord stops before the front part extends forward revealing silver legs, then the Zord begins to stand up as the car parts turn backwards and unfold black feet. Then the chest of the Zord opens which reveals a silver engine with a red diamond shape jewel and the 'N' was within the said jewel. Then the back unfolds into shoulders and black arms appear from them with silver hands. The head will be shaped like a motocross helmet that was colored black and red with a blue visor.
"Nexus Racer Zord, Battle Mode!" The Red Ranger declared.
Commander Snider stood up.
"No way…I won't let you beat me!" Snider said as he charged at the Nexus Racer Zord.
The Zord does the same, Snider then swings his arm cannon at the Zord to attack it a few times but the Nexus Racer Zord dodges and blocks it attacks. Then with a right and left turn from the Red Ranger's steering wheel, the Nexus Racer Zord lands two punches on Snider, then with a press of a button on the wheel, the Zord lands a kick on Snider forcing him to stumble back.
"Deploy, Nexus Saber!" The Red Ranger said as he pressed on the large red button on the middle of his steering wheel.
Then appearing in red energy was a sword in the Zord's hand.
It was a single edged longsword with a red round guard with a blue gem and a black grip.
The Red Ranger then pushes down the lever and pressed on the pedal and the Nexus Racer Zord charges at Commander Snider.
Commander Snider fires energy shots at charging Zord, but the Nexus Racer Zord cuts them down with its sword. Then the Zord lands a few slashes on Snider's chest as he cries out in pain.
"Ow! Ow! Why you…!" Snider said as he threw a punch from his right hand.
The Nexus Racer Zord dodges it and grabs onto its sword with both hands before it lands another slash on Commander Snider as he rolls on the ground once again.
"Ow!" Snider slowly stood back up and glared at the Zord. "Damn you!"
"Time to finish this. Super Nexus Blaster!" The Red Ranger calls out as he raises his hand.
Flying in a tunnel of energy was a blaster.
The blaster was colored white with a long barrel red, blue, black, yellow, and pink lines besides it with three green glass parts on the bottom, the blaster had a black handle with a red trigger with an extra grip in the middle bottom of on the blaster, and on both sides on the back was two black disks with gold colored 'N' symbol on them.
This is the Super Nexus Blaster.
The Red Ranger catches the Blaster before he aims it at Commander Snider, he then grabs onto the grip part of the Blast and pulls it to the side and pulls it back.
Then the green parts on the Blaster light up one at a time. At the same time, the Nexus Saber's gem lights up and red energy appears around the blade, then thrusters beneath the Zord's feet activate as it begins to levitate above the ground.
"Nexus Racer Zord, Final Saber Slash!" The Red Ranger said as he pressed the Super Nexus Blaster's trigger and fired at Snider.
Then the thrusters on the Racer Zord's back ignited as it began to charge at Commander Snider at high speed.
"No! You stay away from me!" Snider said in fear as he fired energy shots at the Nexus Racer Zord, but they merely bounced off thanks to the air thrust in front of it. "Argh-oh!"
The Nexus Racer Zord swings its sword at Commander Snider as he slashes through the giant alien as he roars before exploding.
The Nexus Racer Zord swung its sword to the left and then to the right.
In the town, Salamandinay and the people were in awe to see the Red Ranger had defeated the giant Snider and some even cheered for his victory.
The reports of Snider's second defeat by the hands of the Red Ranger soon reached the Kaiser Sphere, and Prince Crimson was once again displeased by this.
"What?! Commander Snider was defeated again?!" He exclaimed in pure rage, making the Xedroids flinch in fear. "How is this possible?!"
"My Prince, you must calm down!" General Swartz told him as the Prince turned to him. "Commander Snider's destruction may be a loss for us, but we have yet to lose the war. I suggest we make a tactical retreat for now and devise a new plan."
Prince Crimson took a few deep breaths to calm down before he sat back down on his throne.
"Very well. Bring the Kaiser Sphere back to the outer atmosphere." The Prince commanded, and his subordinates nodded in acknowledgement.
The Kaiser Sphere begins to fly back to outer space. Prince Crimson then looks at the Nexus Racer Zord as it was looking at the retreating Sphere.
'I don't know who you are, or where you came from. But mark my words, you will pay for this.' The Prince swore.
In his cockpit, the Red Ranger was looking at the Kaiser Sphere as it retreated to Earth's outer atmosphere.
"Something tells me that I'll be seeing them again real soon." He said.
The Nexus Racer Zord changes back into its Vehicle Mode and drives into a portal to return to base.
As the Zord was now gone, Salamandinay was left wondering who that Red Ranger was and where he came from.
After returning to the base via his Zord, Dean soon arrives in the command room as he walks to the computer as Pixel waits for him.
"So, how does it feel to be back in action?" Pixel asked before Dean removed his helmet to take a deep breath.
"It felt good. Especially after over a 500-year nap." He said with a smile, and Pixel chuckles.
"That's good to hear." Pixel said.
Dean frowns before he turns back to the computer screen showing the enemy's battleship still looming above the Earth.
"Still…It's going to be tough to fend off an alien invasion with just the two of us." He said.
"Actually, there's three of us." Pixel said and Dean turned to her in some confusion.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"Max, he's still alive." Pixel answered, and Dean was surprised to hear that.
"Really? Grandpa's still alive? How?" Dean asked.
"Well, after we put in you the Cryopod, we detected an anomaly in another dimension and Max left to investigate it." Pixel said.
"But after 500 years…" Dean said.
"Well, it may have been over 500 years here, but to the rest of the multiverse, it's been a few years at best." Pixel said, and Dean began to understand.
"Right. Different worlds, different timelines. I keep forgetting." Dean said.
From Dean's experience, every dimension had a different time period where time and space moved differently. His world is in an advanced technological era based around the 22nd century, where most other worlds are based around the 21st century.
"Yeah. But before he left, Max did leave something behind." Pixel said before her holographic keyboard appeared and she began to type on it.
The screen soon changes to show a video of a man that the Red Ranger knows too well.
He was a elderly man in his mid-60s with short gray hair with a beard and has black eyes. He was wearing a white shirt, covered by a red buttoned-up Hawaiian shirt with a floral design. He also wears black pants with brown shoes.
This is Max Reilly, Dean's grandfather
"Dean." Max greeted him.
"Grandpa…Where…" He said.
"If you're seeing this message, it means you've finally woken up." Max said, showing this video is just a recording.
The Red Ranger then turns to Pixel.
"Sorry, this is just a recording before he left." Pixel said before they turned back to the video recording.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be there to greet you in person. But something came up, and I was needed out world to investigate it. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I trust you and Pixel can handle the rest until I'm back. Keep the Earth safe, Dean, and may the Power protect you." Max told his grandson before the recording had ended.
Dean couldn't but smile before he rubs his finger under his nose.
"Honestly…He always has a way with cheesy speeches." Dean mutters before he sheds a tear and wipes it away.
"Anyway, Dean, what's the next plan going to be?" Pixel asked.
"Well, considering I'm a man out of time, I think I want to learn all I can about this brave new world and about the people here." Dean said.
Pixel chuckles to hear that.
"I figured you would say that. Which is a good thing too, because there's a lot of things you need to catch up on." Pixel told him, and Dean nodded.
"Then let's see it." Dean said.
Pixel then begins to show the Red Ranger videos and pictures of all the things she had recorded from the Children of Aura.

(Instrumental) (As the song starts, two Earths appear one at a time before they collide against each other creating a flash of light which blinded the screen.)
(Sono te nobashi te mabayui ashita o tsukamitore! Mugen no sora hamatake Believe in Nexus!) (Five of the Nexus Zords had appeared as the Racer, Wolf, and Dozer Zords were racing on a large road while the Chopper and Falcon Zords were flying above them before they turned into a flash of light and flew into the vast open sky before the story's title appeared on screen.)
(Araburu kono shoudo daremino tomiranai!) (The Nexus Rangers were standing on a hill as they looked at the town where the Children of Aura resides as some of them in DRAGON form flew above them as they watched them in awe.)
(Hiri asa mi kirikou o taka maru kono Heart Beat!) (Then it changes to a split screen with Salamandinay looking at her Enryugo as it was still incomplete, and Ange who was in her room in Arzenal as she was seated on her bed while looking at her ring, before it changes to Embryo and behind him was a man hidden in darkness holding a Morpher in his hand.)
(Bi chinai sou o natato sekawaerai!) (Then it changes showing an army of Xedroids and behind them were Prince Crimson, General Swartz, and Cyber.)
(Koko de oarasatakunai Go For It!) (Next the screen changes to the Rangers commencing their Morphin Sequence as they Morph into their suits before their helmets appeared.)
(Tachiagare kodoku ni obiekuru e naide!) (The screen changes showing a fleet of Xe-Fighters and an army of Xe-Bots charging forward to attack, then changes to the Nexus Rangers loading their Zord Cards into their Morphers as they soon appear, and the Rangers jump into them.)
(Nakama ma batte irukoto mou ichido omoidase!) (In his cockpit, the Nexus Red inserts his Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and his Racer Zord changes into the said mode.)
(Kowaku wa naisa akirame wa shinai donna tsugoi yatsu ni mo make wa shinai itsudatte o kino yuuki de Believe In Nexus!) (Then each of the Nexus Zord launch respective attacks on their enemies before the Kaiser Sphere in the sky. Then the Zords combine forming the Nexus Prime Megazord, and then energy appears around the Megazord before it flies at the Kaiser Sphere to attack and when it collides against the Sphere a large flash of light appears blinding the screen. Then it changes to both Earths before the Nexus Rangers along with the villain leaders appeared as they faced each other.)
