Rolling as soon as he hit the ground to maintain his momentum, Sonichu quickly took a battle stance against the green tenrec who had just assaulted him. "Hey, lady, what's your deal?"
"Oh, like YOU don't know!" The tenrec replied, her body sparking with blue electricity. "You RUINED my life, Sonic! And now you're going to PAY!" Sonichu just barely managed to side-step and dodge her latest blast of electricity. "Lady, I'm not Sonic! My name is-"
"LIAR!" the tenrec screamed, unleashing a storm of energy from her body that hit Sonichu multiple times. "Surge!" Rosechu's voice cried out in the distance as she ran to catch up to the two. "STAY BACK!" Roared Surge, an errant bolt of lightning approaching the pink hedgehog before Sonichu managed to zoom her to safety.
"Stay here, Rosey! This 'Surge' lady packs a mean punch!" Sonichu ordered, but Rosechu grabbed his arm before he could run off. "Sonichu, wait! She's really not all bad! I think she's just confused!"
"Rosey..." Sonichu started, but Rosechu's impression of a sad puppy softened him, like it usually did. "Alright, I'll be gentle! Just gotta get her somewhere safer to fight!" Sonichu relented, before running off to deal with Surge.
"WHERE ARE YOU!?" Surge yelled out, her electrical field damaging the trees in the forest outside of Kel's house. If this Sonic was as cowardly as his body color would suggest, she'd level this place to flush him out.
"THUNDER!"
Surge was knocked off her feet as Sonichu's Thunder attack sent a burst of yellow electricity through her, far more than she could easily absorb. Looking ahead of her as she landed, Surge saw Sonichu leaning on a tree with his arms crossed, mocking her with a bit of side-eye. "Heh. You know, your little light show there was pretty cute, but do you have the SPEED to back it up?"
Surge growled as Sonichu sped off, leading her to chase him through the fields outside of Cwcville, across the Zapbud fields, over the vast lake nearby, and taking a small detour into the city. Sonichu smirked as his plan to take her into the nearby mountains was working...Until she managed to loop around and knock him off balance, leaving him tumbling into the middle of Cwcville's Main Street.
"Do you REALLY think I'm that stupid!?" Surge said, as she stood triumphantly over the electric hedgehog. "You hero types are all the same! Don't want any 'innocents' getting hurt just so YOU can feel better about yourselves!" Sonichu tried getting up, but a hard kick to the ribs from Surge stopped that from happening. "Well, guess what, Sonic? I WAS INNOCENT, TOO! I was INNOCENT before your stinkin' war with Eggman inspired a mad man to turn me into what I am now!" Another hard kick rolled Sonichu onto his back, where the tenrec began punching his face repeatably. "YOU GONNA TRY AND SAVE ME NOW, SONIC!? GONNA TRY FIXING ME!? I CAN'T BE FIXED! AND YOU! DID THIS! TO ME!"
Sonichu began blacking out as Surge's barrage continued, he was barely holding on to consciousness when she stopped at the words of someone he couldn't hear.
"Bravo! I knew my creation wouldn't disappoint." The ghostly voice of Starline said in Surge's mind. "Now finish him off."
Surge's fist began to pulsate with energy, ready to deal the final blow.
