"Rosey..." Sonichu muttered, before Surge rammed her fist through his chest and stop his heart permanently. the tenrec stumbled backwards, unsure she had truly pulled off what she had just managed to do. "Good girl." Starline's voice said in her mind. Yes...She'd finally won...But she didn't feel any better about herself. If anything, she just felt more empty now.

"SONICHU!" Rosechu's voice cried out as she ran towards the dead hedgehog's body. She checked his vitals, before finally cradling his body and sobbing. "How could you do this!?" Rosechu asked Surge through her tears. "I thought you were my friend!"

"I...I thought I was..." Surge said, hanging her head. She'd had every intention of killing the yellow hedgehog from the moment she saw him, but she NEVER wanted to hurt Rosechu. Odd as it was for her to admit, she'd do anything to take it back now, even if it only meant not hurting the first person who had showed her true kindness.

"Anything?"

"Oh, not another one of THESE!" Surge lamented as another voice entered her mind. The form of a purple hedgehog in a blue vest soon appeared before her. "I am Magi-Chan Sonichu, guardian of this dimension. And you, a mere visitor, have just slain one of its champions."

"Pfft! Yeah, and?" Surge replied, dismissively. Magi-Chan floated closer to Rosechu as she held Sonichu's body, putting a hand on her shoulder. "It has upset the balance of this reality, flimsy as it may be. It is putting Rosechu through grief and trauma she was never meant to have on this world. You would leave her in such a state?"

"M...Maybe..." Surge retorted, before softening. "Well, maybe not."

"You alone can fix this, Surge. By loosening your connection to this world, we can reset time by a few minutes, change what happened, spare her this grief! All you have to do is let me do it!" Magi-Chan pleaded. Surge crossed her arms uncomfortably. "And what would happen to me?"

"You will remain...For a time, but shall quickly be sent back to your native dimension with no memory of what has transpired here. Of...Her." Magi-Chan replied. Surge walked up to the other side of Sonichu's body, and tenderly touched Rosechu's cheek, thinking of what life would be like without her. Already, it seemed unimaginable...

But right now, she would do anything to ease Rosey's pain.

"Alright. I'll do it." Surge said, before standing up and spitting on Sonichu's forehead. "Hope you appreciate this, poser."

"Then let this chapter begin...ANEW!"
