"How's he doing?" Jess did a quick patrol.
"Out like a log. Did you see the Llama someone gave him at the hospital?"
"I did, it's so cute," she drove to deal with some rogue bank robbers. As it got closer to delivery she was just going to take down small fries.
"I can give you a list of medicines that'll make him have to potty more."
"No. That would be mean. I'd rather he go willingly. He has to accept help," she wrapped the three thugs without getting off her bike, webbing the bag of money in the air.
"I guess, but if he can't help then he'll have to accept it faster."
"Coming home now. I am not drugging him. More than his prescribed medicine," she turned, heading back home.
"Ok," Lyla stuck her tongue out, floating down to Miguel. She smiled, laying on the bed next to him.

Jess hopped out of the shower and changed into her pajamas. It was a smidgen past midnight. This would give her a chance to get a few hours of sleep before she had to deal with this party.
X
It seemed like she had just fallen asleep when the light was hitting her in the face.
"Just another hour or two," she pulled the pillow over her head.
"Good morning~!" A voice sang, coming towards her bedroom, "Oh, are you still sleeping?"
Jess pressed the pillow to her face more, ". …u t. ...l.."
"Can't hear you, Jessie."
She lifted the pillow, still blocking the sun as best she could, "I told you to call before you came."
"I know, I know. But I woke up early and figured I'd come and start setting up," Sharon, Virgil's older sister, apologized, "You just sleep, I'll go start getting the yard together."
Jess watched her leave the bedroom before pulling the pillow back over her face. Ok, back to sleep.
A scurrying of feet rushed to her bedside, "Who's that giant in my brother's guestroom?"
"That giant in our guestroom is my little brother."
Sharon turned up her nose, "You don't have any siblings."
"OK, You got me. He's me and Virgil's first son. Now get out of my room, and don't go waking him up."
"Does Virgil know he's here?"
"Get out."
"Whose he really?"
"Get. Out."
The woman glared, "Is he going to be there when the baby arrives?"
"High chance of it," Jess pressed the pillow over her ears.
"Well where will I stay? I was gonna come help when the baby was born."
"With your husband like you already do. Get out!"
Sharon puffed her cheek angrily, storming out. This wasn't over.
X
Virgil adjusted his tie. Time to grab some breakfast before his first meeting of the day.
Your sister is calling you! Your sister is calling you~! His phone chirped.
"Hey Sis, what's up?"
"You know there is some dude in the guestroom?"
"Yes I do. Is that all you called to say?"
"Who is he?"
"A friend of mine and Jess'," he rolled his eyes.
"Is he staying long?"
"I have to eat something before work, sis. Please don't stress my wife into early labor."
Sharon huffed, not getting the information she wanted.
"I mean it. If she tells me you're being a pest, I'm gonna be real mad at you when I get home."
"Fine, I'm going to finish setting up Miss Moody's party. Bye," she hung up without giving her brother a chance to reply.
She took a moment to peer into the room at the man. He was starting to shuffle on the bed. As soon as he woke up she would get some answers.
X
"Good morning sunshine." Lyla sang.
"Buenas Dias," he mumbled into his Llama, "Just a little longer."
"Ok," she pet his hair.
By this point Jess had gotten up, since her sister-in-law had irritated her. At least she managed to get a solid extra half hour in.
First thing was to go check on her latest addition.
"Hey," a gentle shoulder rub, "Time to wake up. Remember, you're supposed to be using that diaper. No fussing."
Mig grumbled, brows bearing down as he hugged his plush.
"No fussing," she repeated, "I'm going to go make breakfast, join when you're ready."
"Mmm k," he rubbed his eyes. It seemed like he was so tired lately.
X
Sharon saw her sister-in-law in the kitchen and hurried in.
Jess started the stove, "I'm making pancakes and sausage. Do you want some?"
"Yes please," she smiled, leaning on her, "Soooo?"
"So it will be ready soon and when it is, I will let you know," she shrugged her off.
"Tell me about your friend," she spun around, "How long have you known him?"
"Years," spidermom flipped the first pancake.
"Nice! And is he friendly or moody like you?"
"Depends who you are."
Sharon laid against her back, reaching around her to rub her stomach, "If he's friends with you I'm just going to assume he's mean. Isn't that right GG?"
Jess simply rolled her eyes at the girl, "Go grab a plate."
"On it!" She rushed to the cabinet, catching sight of the house guest stepping from the hallway, "Wow. You're even more massive when you're standing."
Miguel stared at her in confusion.
"Miguel, this is my sister-in-law, Sharon. Sharon, this is Miguel. Get him a plate too."
The woman sashayed over to him, "Here you go. Come sit, tell me about yourself."
Mig covered a yawn as he was dragged towards the table, "Isn't it early for an interrogation?"
"I'll get your food," she took the plate, hurrying back to her sister, "He's HOT!" Sharon mouthed enthusiastically.
"Yes he is," Jess made the plates and waddled her way to the table.
Miguel pulled her chair out for her, "Back pain?"
She heaved a heavy sigh, "This delivery can't come soon enough."
"So did you meet Jessie at school?" Sharon started.
X
"Go on and relax," Jessica had his door locked and barricaded, just in case someone tried to be a little nosey, "Do you want to stick with fitted ones or try flats?"
"You didn't tell me you were having a party," Mig shifted. Relaxing and submitting to this was far easier said than done.
"I know, I forgot. Virgil reminded me yesterday."
"Is that why you suddenly started cleaning?"
"Pretty much," she leaned on the dresser, waiting for him to void his bladder, "Need some more apple juice?"
"No. It's just…difficult."
"How can it be difficult? It should come super natural." Lyla floated by.
"Do I have to do this while you have guests?"
"I promise you, no one will notice," she shook her head, "Hey, I have no intentions of torturing you or humiliating you. This isn't to make you a spectacle, ok?"
"I…" Mig sighed, "I want to believe you. But look at it from my perspective."
"She's not that tall."
"Everything is hard the first time you do it. You're going to be ok. Now come on, do you want a cover with farm animals or stripes?" she waved the cute diaper covers at him.
"Looks like we're on 'e'."
