Kuri was sitting on her bed when the landline rang. She answered it.

"Hello?" she said.

"May I speak with Kuri Hikawa?" said a male voice on the line. "This is CPS Officer Newman."

"I am Kuri," Kuri replied.

"We have a transfer student, a hero from UA," the officer continued. "He needs a home. He's on the run from the villains in Japan. As you are the Special Agent of Foreign Villain Countermeasures, I have you in mind for a safe house. His name is Izuku Midoriya."

"Okay, send him here," Kuri said.

"We'll have him over within an hour," Officer Newman replied.

And sure enough, within an hour, the doorbell rang.

Kuri went and answered the door.

A boy came in with green spikey hair in a dirty hero outfit, looking dejected and war torn.

The boy looked down. He was clutching a worn suitcase. "I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"Come in," Kuri said. "My name is Kuri Hikawa."

Robin walked in, toothbrush in his mouth. "Vee, who is that?"

"Robin, this is our new roommate," Kuri replied. "Izuku Midoriya, or Deku. He is going to be living with us, if that's okay."

"It's fine," Robin replied. He turned to Kuri. "Deku, I'm Robin."

Deku looked away from him. They were both pro heroes, at their age? "Thank you both for letting me stay here. I'm sure I won't be here long."

Robin and Kuri looked at each other, and Kuri seemed to say something to Robin, because he left.

Deku looked up as soon as he left. "Isn't it a weekday? I haven't been to school in a while…"

"Yes," Kuri replied. "I was about to get ready when the phone rang. I'll have to let you borrow one of Robin's uniforms. Follow me."

She went to Robin's room, and Deku followed. Kuri rummaged in the closet and got out a uniform.

"Here you go," she said, handing it to her comrade. "You can change in the bathroom. I'll change in here."

"Um…Kuri?" Deku asked. "Where's my classroom?"

"Right here," Kuri replied, opening the door.

The two walked into the classroom. Kuri took a seat near the back, and Deku sat next to her.

"School…" Deku said softly. "I haven't been since…well, a long time, anyway."

"Hey Vee, who's the new girl?" asked a black-haired boy, coming up and sitting in the desk in front of Kuri.

"This is the new guy, Deku," replied Kuri, sighing. "He just got into town, on safety. Deku, this is Danny."

"Danny Phantom." Danny shook his hand.

Deku blinked. They were ALL heroes. We're there more heroes in that tower? "This is a hero school?"

"Duh." A brown haired, green eyed boy said. He looked completely normal, in a green jacket with a ten on it, and jeans. The only abnormal thing about him was a rather large support watch. "I'm Ben 10. You've heard of me right? I've saved the universe several times."

Kuri laughed. "Ben how many times do I haveta tell ya; regular folks don't know a thing about your alien battles!"

"A-Aliens?" Deku blanched.

"Yeah. I turn into a buncha aliens! Wanna see?!" Ben said eagerly.

"No transforming in class Tennyson!" Superman himself stood at the head of the classroom. Deku gasped, making Kuri giggle.

"Don't you guys have quirks and stuff?" Deku asked.

"Nah." Ben said. "I don't have one, and Robin doesn't either. He gets by on support weapons and karate. He's from Japan too, yknow."

"When I was in the circus, jeez." Robin countered. "But hey, Deku, you're not quirkless, are you?"

Deku took a breath, about to explain, when Superman called the class to order.

"For your safety, I will tell you all about Deku and why he is here. Then if you feel threatened, you may leave." Superman went on to tell them about One For All, All For One, and All Might. He revealed Star and Stripe's gruesome death, causing Deku to shudder. He hadn't known about that. "Now anyone can leave." Superman paused.

No one moved.

Beast boy groaned from the back. "Aw you really think any of us are gonna abandon this guy?"

"Yeah and besides," Ben went on. "That AFO guys not near as much of a threat as the universal enemies we have."

"Yes, well," Robin shot back. "It's Japan that's in jeopardy. No problem sheltering and training a comrade."

"Hear that, Deku?" Kuri grinned. "Your safe here; and your with friends.

Deku started to bawl.
