"I think this is what Jess meant by not doing dumb things," Lyla looked at the monitors, "Do you think this is a good idea, you nearly just fainted."
"Childbirth isn't so beautiful to me," he took a mental note of what he was about to do, "I'm only going to do a few tonight."
"It can't be that bad," Lyla pulled up a video to watch. Her eyes widened a few seconds into it, "Oh…would you look at that? You're actually right about something."
"Just a few hole repairs, and then check on my dimension," He pressed the button to activate his suit.
"I'm surprised you didn't take that off."
"It's not noticeable, is it?"
"Not really," she floated around his waist, "Looks like your junk is slightly bigger."
He nodded, "OK, I can live with that," he jumped into the vortex.

Despite promising not to go overboard, Miguel managed to fix seven holes in the spiderverse. Afterwards he had to go to his dimension and make it clear that a spiderman still lived here.
It was surprisingly calm in his dimension so he decided to take the opportunity.
He was with Virgil on not admitting that Jess was right about these ridiculous things. He hated it so much, but shock if it wasn't actually useful.
With him hidden on the wall, he managed to partially disable his suit. The second he unfastened one of the velcros there was an explosion.
"Ok, part three of Jess being right," he sealed it back up and reactivated his suit before jumping into the fray.
Looked like it was a fire. Ok, not the worst. One of the easiest things to deal with.

By the time Miguel finished with the d mn fire he finally had a minute to rest. That minute was taken up by him looking for where he had put his back up bag, but it was there nonetheless.
"Alright," he sat, quickly removing the wet undergarments. He appreciated this being almost exactly like a regular diaper, except just with snaps or velcro. Made putting another one on just as convenient.
After several moments of vigorous wiping and powdering, he was nice, fresh and ready to go.
He crawled down the wall, looking down. Of all people. Deadpool was waving up at him.
There was a long pause of silence, before he webbed away as quickly as possible.
"Wait! I was going to ask to help you!"

It was near 10am when Miguel found his way back to Jessica's home. He stopped home to grab more of his shots and clothes. And his brother had been calling him, so he just sent a message stating that he was alive and would make time for him later.
By the time he showered and made it to his room it was nearing noon. Exhausted yet fulfilled, he flopped on the bed and groaned into the pillow.
"Do you want me to pull up the definition of dumb?"
"Please let me sleep."
"Because I could have sworn Jess said don't do anything dumb. And what time is it?"
He groaned, "I don't know."
"And you didn't even put your diaper back on."
He pulled the pillow over his head.
"You need a spanking," she floated over, wagging a finger by his head.
"For people to claim I don't sleep enough, you are determined to keep me awake," he rubbed his eyes, "Fine!"
He pushed from the bed and went to the dresser, "Here, is this what you want?"
"I think the sheep one is cuter."
He rolled his eyes and grabbed the stupid sheep one and put the insert in, before putting it on, "Happy? Will you let me sleep now?"
"Nighty night," she blew a kiss at him.

A little over two hours into his sleep he got an alert on his phone.
"Is it important Lyla?" he turned away, hugging his Llama.
The avatar danced around his head, "Looks like Jess gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Gunner Gary Drew. He's super adorable with his little curly hair!"
He cracked an eye open, looking at his phone, "He is cute. Is she ready to accept visitors?"
"For some reason, sounds like you get to come see the baby first," she spun with how quick he got dressed, "Careful boss, your joy is showing."
"Where is the hospital she's at? Give me an address please," he pulled a shirt over his head and jumped into his jeans.
"Yeah, already on your phone."

A nurse knocked on the door, "You have a visitor."
Miguel walked in, looking around the hospital room before his eyes fell on Jess, "Hey, how are you feeling?"
"Better," Virgil commented, "I only fainted once during the ordeal."
Jess shook her head, pressing her left breast to assure Gunner was getting milk, "I'm feeling a little better. Back pain has lessened."
"Thats because they gave you all those drugs."
"And I deserved every one they gave me," she scoffed, "You deliver the next one and you do it without drugs."
"I wasn't knocking you, I was just pointing it out," he leaned back into the chair, "You both look tired."
Mig smiled, "Well, she did just do something pretty difficult. Tends to be exhausting."
Jess glared at him, "Yea, for sure. And what about you?"
"What about me?" he turned to the wall, sweat forming on the back of his neck.
"Why are you so tired?"
"How do you know I'm tired?"
"Because I've seen how you look well rested. Pretty different from this," she raised a suspicious brow, "Did you go to HQ?"
He stood in silence, thinking about the best thing to say, "What HQ? I got you flowers," he held up a bouquet of roses a day lillies.
"How pretty," Jess was clearly not amused, "Lyla? Present yourself."
"Right here boss lady. Got a whole report for you," She pulled up a small screen for her to read over, "And if you'll look here, I logged how many times I reminded him that he wasn't supposed to be doing anything dumb and how many times he ignored me."
Sweating intensified, "Who's side are you on?"
"Hmmm, what are my options?"
"The person who can delete you," he hissed.
"Miguelito," Jess narrowed her eyes dangerously at him, causing the hair on the back of his neck to stand up, "Have you been to sleep yet?"
"Well, I mean, I have. I was sleeping when I got the message," Miguel stammered, searching around the room for escape.
"Hey sweets, he just couldn't sleep without you, that's all," Virgil jumped in like Miguel's knight in shining armor, "But, if the nurse permits, you'll be home tonight. And if not, I will, and I'll make sure he goes to bed at a proper time."
"No, babe, you don't get it," Jess attempted to explain.
"I know that you are pumped full of drugs, just gave birth and have stitches in some of my favorite places," he massaged her shoulders, "Just rest."
Her shoulders slumped, though she managed to throw a glare at Miguel, letting him know she wasn't done with him, "Fine," she removed the baby, "Here, Miguel, you want to burp him?"
Mig nodded, handing Virgil the bouquet and holding his arms out to cradle the newborn.
"Just rest," Virgil kissed her on the forehead, also giving Mig a look that let him know he owed him big time. And Miguel knew it.
