(Takes place in my Life Will Change universe, post-epilogue)

Begin!

~Normal POV

Ann remembered the days when she would speculate about what it would be like to be married. Turns out that once she got there, it wasn't so different from how she imagined. She and Akira were married now, and living in a house in the city. It hadn't been that long since they got back from their honeymoon overseas, and they were still just as happy about it. Getting to spend all that time for just the two of them was wonderful, but they did still miss their home and friends. It was good to be back. Being married wasn't so different from just being boyfriend and girlfriend. It probably helped that they'd been living together beforehand, so they were plenty comfortable.

It was a lazy afternoon when the two were enjoying some time together. Ann didn't have to work today, and Akira was putting off his writing for a while to spend time with her. Morgana had gone for a stroll around the neighborhood. Currently the couple was playing a game- specifically working together to get past stuff in it. It was peaceful and relaxing.

Ann smiled to herself as she watched her husband try to solve a puzzle. It made her recall their days traversing through Palaces as Phantom Thieves- where they had to do such things in person. Those days were long behind them, but the memories would always be there. They'd come far since then. They were adults, happily married, and considering the possibility of adding some new members to their family. Ann knew that'd have to wait a bit, she had her figure to consider first, but the idea was nice. Heh, maybe now that she and Akira were married, it'd help Ryuji work up the nerve to ask Haru to marry him soon…

A thought crossed her mind suddenly… It wasn't one she'd really considered before but now it made her curious.

"Akira?" She said, getting his attention.

Akira paused the game and looked at her. "Yeah?"

"I was just thinking…" Ann started, not really knowing how to word this question. "About our life and what we've been through together… And I want to ask you something."

He gave her a puzzled look, but nodded for her to continue. He had no idea where she might be going with this.

"If we… had to go back and do it over again, from the beginning- I mean, if it was possible… and we didn't remember any of it. Would you-" Ann blushed, "Would you have still chosen me?"

Akira blinked in confusion at first, but quickly put the meaning together in his head. He smiled warmly and put his hand on her cheek.

"Of course, Ann."

Ann couldn't help giggling a little at his gentle, sincere answer. "Wow, really? Even if you didn't remember falling for me at all, you'd still pick me all over again?"

He pulled her into a soft kiss. Ann was surprised for a moment but got over it fast and returned the kiss affectionately. When they pulled apart, Akira rested his forehead against hers. "Every time."

Ann grinned and couldn't help herself from pulling him into another kiss.

~...

When Morgana entered the house through his cat-door, he was very confused as to why the house was so quiet and the game console in the living room was put to sleep instead of turned off. He got his answer pretty fast when he also noticed Akira and Ann's bedroom door was closed. The cat sighed to himself and rolled his eyes.

Maybe he should do another lap around the block before coming back in.
