"So, Liza wishes us to go through with our original plan? Peculiar. And she is using a form of drug to control him..." Albert sipped some wine debating what to do. "For now. Let's entertain the idea. By doing so we may be able to learn more about her. Besides. Even without her, we will go through with it. However. What shall we do with him? Once she removes whatever influence she has on him. Perhaps he may remember who he actually is." William sat down, looking at the broken pair of glasses Moran had found at the Morris manor. He frowned thinking how he would never see his brother again.
"For now. Keep him. If he is merely a pawn of hers. Harming him, or letting harm come to him isn't right." Albert sighed. Ever since Louis first went missing, he and William had been praying their brother would show up alive and well. But he knew now such a miracle was impossible. And this Louis in their house was just a fake. However, in some odd way. Having a fake Louis was almost comforting, as opposed to never seeing him again.
The two decided to go through with the original plan. And went to meet up with Liza on Sunday evening. She seemed almost surprised to see them, as if she expected them to not come. "So, you've agreed to help?" She smiled. As Albert was about to say yes, William interrupted. "May I ask. Why do you want your husband dead?" He asked, looking her in the eyes.
"Ah, I figured you would ask that. As you no doubt know. I married him six months ago. Before that, I was working for my family in Germany. See, I had an accident in my father's lab when little. Resulting in terrible facial scarring. Naturally, finding a husband with such... deformities was impossible. Until a little over a year ago, I met Edwin Morris. He had connections to my father, a doctor of mainly the mind." She began explaining. "Ah," Albert understood now why she had been spending years abroad searching methods on controlling and fixing the mind. Work for her father no doubt.
"Edwin offered an experimental procedure to fix my face. It worked, and my scars became all but invisible. Still there, but so light and barely noticeable to the naked eye. He then, started courting me. And we were married within a few months. I thought he was a saint. Until I moved home with him. And began to realize what sort of devil he truly is. The night he got your brother..." She looked at William. "Was the night I began to make a plan on how to stop him. Using you." She smiled. William looked down, thinking of what happened that terrible night.
"What is your plan once we are rid of him?" Albert spoke up. "Leave the country most likely. Return to my father. That is if I survive the ordeal. If Edwin becomes suspicious of me. I will no doubt die. Much like his last wife." She stated, making it clear the last poor woman didn't actually die from an illness. "At the moment he thinks I am like him. A useful ally. But if he learns I am tricking him. He will kill me." She added. "If we are to help. We need to know. Where is he right now? " William glanced at Albert.
"Just outside the city. He has a vacation home. Only two servants me him and his assistant doctor live there right now." She handed him the address to the home. Albert took the paper with the address written on it. The three sat silently for a little while planning their next move. "Do you have more of the drug that controls people?" William suddenly asked, having a plan. Liza smiled and nodded. "Good. Then we shall have a tea party and invite your husband over. At the moment he knows we are hunting him. But knows we won't use the police. So, he thinks he is safe in public. We throw a public party." William smiled.
Albert raised an eyebrow wondering what his brother was planning. "At the party we make sure he gets some of your, special brew. Enough that he will follow us to a more private area. There, we will arrange for him to meet Louis." William added getting up. Albert realized what the plan was and smiled. "We will arrange for the party and send for an invite in two days' time. See you then Mrs. Morris." William said, leaving with Albert.
