Chapter 13

The toys set out to find Medaka while Medaka was still admiring herself at Al's apartment

The camera moves up to a view of Al's apartment in the distance as the sun sets the scene changes to Al's apartment where Medaka, Kikaijima, Hitoyoshi, Akune, Krypto, and Wario are watching Medaka's Roundup as Medaka is looking at the show that has herself in it

They don't call this the old abandoned mine for nothin', Wario. I reckon we oughta get outta here. TV Kikaijima said

Yeah. TV Hitoyoshi said

Seriously. TV Akune said

Where's my gold? Hold on. I'll light me a candle. TV Wario said

TV Wario uses a match to light a fuse which begins to burn quickly

This sure is a fast-burnin' wick. TV Wario said

Blast us to smithereens! That there's dynamite! TV Kikaijima said

Holy tarnation! TV Wario said

What is it? TV Kikaijima said

I think i made it worse. TV Wario said

What? TV Kikaijima said

Oh no. TV Wario said

I'll call for help! (yodels) TV Kikaijima said

Some critters arrive at the collapsed entrance of the mine

Hey, critters? Go get Princess Medaka! Now scoot! Kikaijima said

The critters run off meanwhile Medaka and Krypto are painting a schoolhouse

Good job. Krypto. TV Medaka said

(Barks) TV Krypto barked

It appears the new schoolhouse is finally done. TV Medaka said

(Barks) TV Krypto barked

Suddenly a bunch of critters appear before Medaka and Krypto

Hello, little ones. Can i help you? TV Medaka said

The critters arrive and tell Medaka about the problem

What's that? TV Medaka said

The critters explain to Medaka the problem

(Gasps) Kikaijima, Zenkichi, Akune, and Wario are trapped in the old abandoned mine and Prospector just lit a stick of dynamite thinkin' it was a candle, and now they're about to be blown to smithereens?! TV Medaka said

Mmm-hmm. the critters said

Ride like the wind, Krypto! TV Medaka said

(Barks) TV Krypto barked

Krypto runs off with Medaka out of town and into the desert while in the mine Jessie Hitoyoshi Akune and Wario are trying to put out the fuse

You're fannin' the flames? TV Wario said

Yes. I am. TV Kikaijima said

Kikaijima. TV Wario said

What? TV Kikaijima said

It takes brains to put out that fire. TV Wario said

Then how do we put it out? TV Kikaijima said

Yeah. TV Hitoyoshi said

How? Akune said

Like this. TV Wario said

Wario sits on the flame hoping to take out the fire

Wow. TV Kikaijima said

Holy... TV Hitoyoshi said

Oh my god. TV Akune said

See? I told you it would... TV Wario said

Unfortunately for Wario the fire only makes him jump up and down in pain

Yeow! My biscuits are burnin'! TV Wario said

The scene cuts back to Medaka and Krypto who gallops over to the edge of a canyon jumps into the air and soars over it

Will Medaka and Krypto land to safety? Can they reach Kikaijima Hitoyoshi Akune and Wario in time?! Tune in next week for the exciting conclusion: "Medaka's Finest Hour"! Medaka's Roundup announcer said

No. Kikaijima said

Huh? Medaka said

Kikaijim sadly gets up and turns off the TV with her boot

It's over. Hitoyoshi said

Completely over. Akune said

But what happens next? Come on, let's see the next episode! Medaka said

That's it. Wario said

What? Medaka said

The show was canceled after that. Wario said

Wait, wait, wait, wait. What about the gold mine and the... Medaka said

Nope. Wario said

Krypto lifts him onto the shelf that Wario is on

And the cute little critters and the dynamite? Medaka said

Nope. Wario said

That was a great show! I mean, why cancel it? Medaka said

One word: Samurai. Wario said

What? Medaka said

Once the samurais went up, children only wanted to play with sword girl toys. Wario said

I know how that feels. Medaka said

What? Wario said

Nothing. But, still, my own show. Medaka said

Yup. Wario said

And look at all this stuff! Medaka said

Didn't you know? Kikaijima said

Know what? Medaka said

Why, you're valuable property! Kikaijima said

I am? Medaka said

Yeah. Hitoyoshi said

Totally. Akune said

Wow. I wish the others could see this. Medaka said

Medaka sees a yo-yo that has her face on it

"Hey howdy hey!" That's me. I'm on a yo-yo. Medaka said

Medaka then sees a game that has her face smiling and some balls beside it

Oh! Hey, nice teeth. Medaka said

Medaka throws a ball at one of the teeth and knocks it out

And yet, still a good-lookin' gal. Medaka said

Medaka, Kikaijima, Hitoyoshi, Akune, and Krypto laugh while Medaka sees a bank game she makes the Wario model launch a coin into a Medaka model's hand and put it in a barrel

Oh! It's a bank! Cool! Medaka said

Medaka goes over to a bubble-blowing toy which has her face on it and her head for pushing down to get the bubbles going

Wh-Wh-What do you? You push the head. And out co...oh, outcome bubbles. Clever! Medaka said

Kikaijima Hitoyoshi Akune and Wario laugh while Krypto pops a big bubble with his teeth

Oh, wow! Hey. What does this thing do? Medaka said

Press it and find out. Kikaijima said

I believe i will. Medaka said

Medaka pushes down the spur with her shoe and a toy snake pops out of it

Whoa. Medaka said

See? Kikaijima said

(Laughs) Aha, I get it. "There's a snake in my boot." Medaka said

(Laughs) Kikaijima laughed

Hey Krypto.

(Barks) Krypto barked

Go long! Go long! Medaka said

(Barks) Krypto barked

Medaka shoots the snake out of the boot and Krypto chases it jumping onto a record player which starts playing it making Krypto go around on the record sitting on it

A record player! Medaka said

You've seen this before? Kikaijima said

Have i? Ha! Haven't seen one of these in ages. Medaka said

Why do mess around with it? Kikaijima said

Okay. Medaka said

Medaka climbs up to join Krypto on the record player and starts walking it in one place

This is fun. Medaka said

(Laughs) let me join. Kikaijima said

Go ahead. Medaka said

What about us? Hitoyoshi said

Can we join? Akune said

Of course. The more the merrier. Medaka said

Alright. Hitoyoshi said

Yes. Akune said

Hitoyoshi and Akune join the two girls on the record player

Whoa. Hitoyoshi said

Wow. Akune said

Okay. Now. Slow. Medaka said

Medaka and Krypto start walking slowly on the record making Kikaijima laugh even more

Oh, that's funny, Krypto! Kikaijima said

Very funny. Hitoyoshi said

Completely Funny. Akune said

Medaka pulls Kikaijima up on the record player again

Hop on! Cowgirl! Medaka said

Okay. Kikaijima said

Think fast! Medaka said

Medaka jumps over the needle and Kikaijima jumps over it too

Not bad. Medaka said

Thanks. Kikaijima said

Suddenly the song for Medaka's Roundup starts playing on the record player

(It's time for Medaka's Roundup.)

(She's the very best.)

(She's the rootin'-est, tootin'-est-)

Kikaijima jumps forward on the needle with her hands and launches herself back onto the record

(Laughs) Medaka laughed

Medaka sets the dial too fast and the record speeds up with Medaka, Kikaijima, and Krypto running on it

Oh! Hey, look at us! Kikaijima said

What? Medaka said

We're all a complete set. Kikaijima said

Oh. Medaka said

Now it's on to the museum! Wario said

Museum?! Medaka said

Medaka stops running in surprise and slides into Kikaijim and Krypto knocking them and herself off the record and onto the table

What museum? Medaka said

THE museum! Wario said

Huh? Medaka said

We're being sold to the Konishi Toy Museum in Tokyo! Wario said

What? Medaka said

That's in Japan! Kikaijima said

What? Medaka said

Yeah. Hitoyoshi said

It'll be exciting. Akune said

What do you think? Wario said

Japan? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. I can't go to Japan. Medaka said

(Laughs) What do you mean? Kikaijima said

Going to a museum in Japan but why and what will Medaka and the other roundup gang do there will people play with them or something else stay tuned
