Chapter 13:Dine and Kidnapping
After what happened in the trianing field right now. Penny was now back in atlas command right now as she was hooked up to some strange machines. As she even looked confused herself right now as she messed with a wire attached to her neck. But will stopped her
"Dear please stop messing with that right now"will kindly asked
"Oh um…i'm sorry umm… . I'm just curious why i have prosthetics"penny asked showing a more diverse vocabulary right now which made them puzzled. As artemis was just getting off the phone with the general right now
"Yes please get down here right now. I'll see you soon sir i've already told peitro to come by"artemis said hanging her scroll up.
As carmine was staring at her own scroll staring at penny source of code for her AI. When they looked yesterday it didn't have much code but right now their was even more code than before still even being added to it as she lookd quite puzzled.
"This is very strange dear. Are you feeling alright?"carmine asked her
This seemed to make penny give her a puzzled look as she messed with the sleeves on her collar right now for a moment
"I'm quite fine…why do you ask ma'am? But i'm…wondering why i have a bunch of prosthetics on my body. Along with feeling cold right now"penny questioned confused making carmine studied her feeling crazy right now
Because for the past three days she been showing several emotions right now. Like shes a living breathing person. She used to be one before an accident years ago that made her became severly injrueid though with peitro and her mentor help she had several prosthetics to save her life.
But it needed an AI chip to run some of her more complex features. As it worked but at the cost of overriding her memories erasing them in a way. Which begged the question why are they returning now of all times today after so long.
"Its…just that you got into an accident dear. Though do you know who i am…other thant my name?"merlot asked as the girl studied him for a moment before smiling.
"Well your a good friend of my fathers. You two knew each other for years along with my mother"penny answered kindly making the man stunned at that moment to hear she actually remembers him as he kept doing research through his scroll
After some time soon enough the large metal doors open as walking in was general ironwood. Along with him by his side was a worried peitro in his chair as the legs moved as fast as they could as he apporahced them with a worried look on his face.
"Carmine dear! I came as soon as i could what is the emergency?!"peitro shouted with worry
Though penny turned to the source of her father voice before she stood up as she yanked the cord out of her head as she ran over. Immediately the bot rushed over hugging the inventor right now smiling in joy which he found puzzling.
"Father i'm happy to see you again"penny cheered making peitro go wide eyed as the general shared a look with them as will cleared his throat stepping forward
"Scarlitina? Do you mind explaining to me whats wrong with mrs. polidina?"ironnwood questioned confused
"Well uh…sir…um…uh…i…well we don't know how to actually explain whats going on"will admitted puzzled himself which confused the two as peitro pulled his daughter back examining her more closing
Peitro examined her face more improtanlty seeing her not acting like that unexpressional girl she was before. She had a warm smile on his face as he stared at his old colleague as merlot sighed
"Pietro it seems that your daughter remembers who i am. Along with that…it seems that well…she might have gotten her memories back"merlot stated which came to a complete shock to them right now as walking in right now was ciel who looked confused what they were doing
"Uhhh sir…is something wrong cynthia texted me on my scroll to get down here for some reason"ciel asked as before long penny stared at her
Then the bot seemed ready to do something like she was preparing something. Ciel looked confused as her until suddenly penny activated her rocket boots if on isncitn she tackled ciel hard sending her flying into the ground at that moment
All of them looked to see ciel on the ground groaning with penny lfiitng her up squeezing her in her arms right now
"Ciel! Its so good to see you here right now!"penny cheered as she squeezed too hard making a small cracking sound as ciel wheezed for air
"Lungs…collpasing…rib….broken…i'm going to die"ciel said wheezing for air until penny let her go with a worried look as the girl coughed and hacked for air in her lungs at that moment
"Oh i'm sorry i…i guess i don't know my own strength"penny apologzed which confused ciel on how she was even acting right now. The girl always acted weird for the past decade and now she acts like this now.
"Uhhh….next time don't squeeze me seriously…that hurt like alot"ceil said as penny then said something surprising
"Well i didn't mean to hurt my best friend…i didn't know these prosthetic were so strong"penny apologized suddenly
"Yeah yeah best fri….what did you just call me?"ciel asked as in reality the main reason she volunteered to be her partner for the vytal festival was because they were childhood friends their entire lifes. As her mother knew her mother long ago as penny gave a puzzled look
"I called you what i always call you? Did i do something wrong?"penny questioned as ciel shared a look with them stunned right now as peitro looked in complete shock right now

'My god…she…she actually had her memories back after this long. This is a miracle"carmine said which puzzled penny hearing that she lost her memories as she stared at them with utter confusion
"What do you mean i lost my memories? Did…did i have amnesia?"penny questioned as the general himself found this to be quite shocking as he cleared his throat as she stared at him stunned slightly
"Dear…could you tell us what you remember last? Because well i don't know how to put this…"ironwood paused staring at pietro who shook his head not to say as he came up with a quick lie
"What happened to me?"penny asked scared now
"Well you got into an accident years ago when you visited your father and some colleagues for one of their demnostrations. Along with that you have suffered from amensi for the last decade"ironwood explained
This made penny look completely shocked hearing that its been that long shes had amnesia. As the bot rubbed her head trying to wrap her brain around what happened over the past ten years. But shes only getting small pieces of it like her mind was filled with holes right now as one person came to mind
"Oh…that…is terrible to hear. But i'm finding it hard to remember things..i…have all this knowledge over the years. I…know i'm close to maybe seventeen but..i'm sure mother will be happy to see me regaining them"penny said happily
But this made them quiet for a moment as ciel looked away happy her friends remembers who she was. Then peitro looked down sorrowfully moving his chair over taking her hands as he sighed heavily right now with an upset look
"Sweetie…i'm sorry to say this but….your mother…fransceca…she didn't make it. You both got in an accident long ago and she…trgaically lost her life protecting you"peitro said finding the words to be hard to tell her
This made the bot stand frozen soild right now for a moment right now. Then for some reason the general saw actually tears escape her eyes along with that penny seemed to lose feeling in her legs. Then leaned into a hug queitly crying right now as she leaned into peitro lap for comfort right now
The man was taken aback by this seeing her actually crying right now. As he he fogutht the urge to smile as he picked her up pulling her into an embrace holding her close rubbing the back of her head waiting for it to settle right now.
"Its okay dear…its alright shes in a better place…just be calm"peitro soothed as he petted and rubbed the back of her head
It soon settled as soon she composed herself before bowing to them to apologize
"I'm sorry for that outburst i…"she was stopped
"You have nothing to be sorry for dear. Besides…its nice to see you acting like your old self. But this is a big bombshell we dropped on you. Do you remember anything about what has happened over the years?"merlot asked as penny thought for a moment nodding
"Well i remember us visiting a showcase of one of father and his assoicats experiments. I remember talking to miss watts and her son scar that day who went to see arthur"penny answered
Though this made carmine growl quietly hearing that who she remembers. It just had to creep back into her head how arthur and peitro wifes had their kids have stupid playdate with each other when they where younger. As merlot narrowed his gaze slightly
"Ahhhh them…though arthur and his family are elsewhere right now. Dear why don't you return home to relax we can start in a couple days to see how you are feeling"merlot said as she nodded with ironwood motioing ciel and cynthia to follow her which they did
Once they saw them turn the corner the general looked abosultuly stunned right now staring at them.
"Doctor…please tell me what happened to her? Because shes showing emotions again like she did before the chip was placed in her head"he questioned as merlot studied his notes as will had a small theory
"Well you see sir i…for the past few days we've noticed how she reacts to certain things. Along with uh having panic attacks"Will said not sure
"Panic attacks? If you believe i'm that stupid to believe that she would have emotions. Because for the past decade she has not shown any sigh of that in years"ironwood said though merlot hummed as he stared at his scroll looking at the code for her AI.
"I think her code might have evolved after the events during the fall. Along with that it seems to have gain life in a way. The code evolved to have its own mind"merlot stated at his theory as they found that to be quite impossible right now. But artemis walked over examining the code as the scroll translated some of it. Which showed memories, emotions and several others thing
"My god…i don't understand any of this but…pietro your…daugther might actually be back'"artemis stated as it brought some tears to the man eyes as he sighed
"Oh thats the best thing i've heard in all my life. My…my little girl is back to her normal self. But i…she still needs to have all her prosthetics which are the only things keeping her alive right now"peitro said with worry as they stayed silent for a moment as the general rubbed his temple hard at this new development
"Artemis….i want your most trusted soldiers to keep an eye on her from a distance. If this is indeed true. It means that if our enemies find out about it she'll be a target"ironwood ordered as she nodded but carmine had one more thing to say
"Though lets keep her away from the news on the fall and anything to do with the accidnet"carmine said with worry
"Why should we do that doctor alcus?"ironwood asked confused slightly
"Becuase during the training sim i noticed something and last time. Sergeant wukong mentioned how she got stabbed then…during the training simulaiton artemis digitized three of her soldiers. One of them being simon riley…or by his real name"will paused before staring at the general in his face
"My daughter boyfriend…which i find funny still till this day. I've never even seen that child here once. "Will said beginning to walk away as they noticed this
"And where do you think your going scarlitina?"ironwood questioned as the man turned slightly to meet his gaze
"For starters do more research. Along with that it seems mrs. poldina has panic attacks now from almost dying. I'm going to head to my workshop to do some research on this new problem"will said leaving them
As they styaed silent for a while discussing things with peitro completely shocked to hear his little girl has returned. But was worried what might happen to her if she learns the truth on what happened that dreadful day long ago in that lab.
Elsewhere more importantly with pyrrha and angie right now as the two where walking toward a small building right now. It was small in design made of some brick and woods from its appearances. Though their were some people with makeshift armor and some weapons in their hands right now
As this was the staff involved in patrolling the neighbroing city for any sigh of trouble. Mainly because of the missing people that have been taken off the streets lately. Robyn formed a small neighborhood watch if you will to keep the people of mantle safe under their watch just incase since the military is finally getting involved. As right now may was their talking with some others
"Okay make sure to check the north side of the pit for any sign of that thing. Along with that be careful out their incase it does show up…last patrol ran into it nailing it in the head. Didn't go down"may said
The four nodded walking away to continue their patrol somewhere else. As they did may noticed them as she smiled at the two.
"Their you two are thought me and scotty would be flying solo right now for our patrol"may said as angie chuckled
"Hey we got stuck doing this today. Besides this time lets make sure this one here doens't get water dumped on her head"angie said ruffling pyrrha hair slightly as she rubbed her neck
"I'm sorry for that…accident. I didn't expected that man to throw me under a gutter that broke dumping water on me"pyrrha apologized as her tail swayed around as may sighed

As their were a line of weapons on displace right now along with boxes that had people names on it. But pyrrha noitced a couple names crossed out making her upset meaning they might be gone. As they stepped forward angie quickly talked to the quartermaster who handed them their boxes with their names on it
Pyrrha saw her fake name on a metal box as she grabbed the latches undoing it. Once she opened it revealed what was inside. That being some greaves, vamrbaces and a chest piece. With all of them being golden color but looked worn down from wear and tear it seems
Quickly grabbing the armror she began to loop the straps making sure they were tight. As she placed armor on her body feeling like she was prepared to start classes at beacon right now
"Well look at you….next up is your standard weapon these guys run with"Angie said handing her something
A standard weapon of robyn shelter for some being a crossbow with two magazine on it. With it having abladed arms and a bayonet on each side connected by a staff. It was collapsed right now as pyrrha grabbed it slinging it onto her back while angie had her own
Then the two were ready as they walked over to may and scotty who had some chest armor on along with some greaves on his legs looking slightly worn down and handmade
"Well you two are finally ready because lets get this show on the road. I don't wanna be here all day"Scotty whined
"Relax kid. Alright where going to check the market distract right now for our part of the patrol. Along with checking on if hes been having trouble with the vice vest lately. "May said as they all nodded at that
So began their journey into town which took a little while traversing through the streets. Pyrrha looked around the place while she did because she was still not used to the area she was living in still. Shes been patrolling close to the outer edges of town most of the time when she signed up for it
Mainly to keep her skills honed along with that to do some good despite her new appearances. But she does miss her old shield and sword at times wondering what her mother did with them or if they were recovered during the fall.
After about thirty minutes they soon arrived at the market distract if you will. It had several crudely made stalls set up and their were even some building that had poorly made signs. But one stood out among the rest
That being a two story brick building from appearance with their being a saxophone on the front of the store in a bright cyan colored light. While their was a sign that seemed to be for an old dust shop right now as it just read"Coals concerto music store"
Reading that brought back memories of her friends that played in a band. Though…she heard that tanner died during the fall which hurts alot sitll to think about it
"Where here lets head inside to check up on murphy"may said as they walked into the store.
Once they entered it their were several instruments on display along with some seeming to be centered around jazz. While their were pianos, violins, trumpets and even some saxophones. But right now their was a man behind the counter along with someone else flynt coal because this was his father store
As the man seemed in his early cities as he had dark skin with a set of black eyes with the color of coal. While his hair was brown as it was badling a little with it being curling on the sides of it. But he had a scruffy beard on his chin and lips with him wearing a set of black rimmed glasess. His attrie was uite simply as he wore a white dress shrit with a matching black tie for the outfit. While he wore a dress jacket colored deep purple unbutton showing him to have a small husky physique to him. As he simply wore some brown dress pants and black dress shoes.
But flynt noticed them"oh watch out pops…seems you might be introuble"flynt joked as murphy chuckled at that
"Well i don't think they are here to arrest me. But i'm sure they came to drop in and see if i'm doing alright"murphy greeted
"We are. The vice vest giving you any trouble still murph?"may asked as he scoffed
"Those hooligans haven't bothered me much since your boss put them in their place. Along with that…a few soldiers come by asking that though they don't mean it. But my son here could handle them just fine"mruphy complimented
"Giving me too much credit pops right now. Besides…whos the new chick?"flynt asked gesturing to pyrrha who was busy staring at set of guitars, drums and a microphone. She iamgined her friends taking their own instruments as she sighed
Until suddenly she was brought to reality as angie snapped her fingers getting her attention
"Yo autumn you good over here girl?"angie asked
"Oh um…s-sorry i was just admiring these instruments. They remind me of a band i listened to at times…but they don't play anymore"pyrrha replied rubbing her arm
"Ah you mean days of mania. I can already guess…shame what happened to that mckay guy. Heard he…i don't know scarfeiced himself to save one of them hayley girls"flynt said which surprised pyrrha
But that made her think about who she saw as she fell from beacon tower as rogue popped into her head. This made her feel upset fighting her tears as she hoped her little sister is dealing with the guilt right now
Scotty scoffed"wouldn't have happened if those three grim hybrids started the fall"he said pretending though that bother flynt as he walked over jabbing him in the side to their confusion
"Ow! What the heck man?"he questioned
"Kinda rude to assume things man. Seriously thats just plain rude because their was only two of them during the fall if i recall"flynt said which came to a shock making pyrrha curious why he phrased it like that
"What do you mean by that?"She questioned as the fedora wearer thought for a moment then he was about to answer. Until the sound of screaming could be heard outside along with the sound of gunfire right now
"What the…"agine said drawing her weapon approahcing the window with a few of them. They looked to see about maybe eight crimson talon soldiers opening fire onto civlains right now as may growled
"These guys again! Okay the army better find out who this new gang is in town!"she shotued readying her weapon putting it into its crossbow mode. As the others followed suit as flynt luckily had his weapon on him
"Yo lets teach these punks a lesson. Pops stay here its safe"flynt said as the man nodded
They all rushed outside of the music shop right now seeing the residents of mantel running for their lives right now. But right now the thugs where busy fighting someone that being a certain cat faunus swinging her nunchuka around all over the place
Neon sped forward with her skates as she sldie past a soldier whacking them upside the head stunning them. As she apporahced a lamppost she reached a hand out spinning around it launching her back into the soldier direction
Using her momentum right now she went straight into the soilder who was buys trying to regain their footing. But then they were tackled into a bodycheck sending them flying hard into a wall as they slumped over groaning. While close by was henry and hunter taking cover as flynt smiled
"Neon! Your a sight for sore eyes thought you were with razs friend and his boyfriend!"flynt called out as she switch direction skating over to them in a complete stop
"Oh we were…i was having fun teasing them showing this hunter guy boytoy whos friends with razzy. "Neon said making may look over at the two with a worried look as she stared at a couple atlas soldier taking down a couple of the soilders but where stuck behind cover
"Everyone deal with them right now! I got those two stick to cover and be quick. Make sure no one gets hurt"may ordered rushing over to them as they nodded
Quickly pyrrha dashed behind cover as she drew her crossbow staff. She stared down at the talon soldiers with two of them swithcing their attention to some civilians. As one of them grabbed one by the arm pointing a tactical sword in their face.
Noticing this she decided to try and use her smeblnace right now at this range. Waving her hand around for a bit soon enough the soldier felt their sword being pulled away from their grip until suddenly it was launched out of their hands knocking it over to her
"What in the…..private what the hell happened to your weapon!"the talon soldier question
"I..i don't know it just moved out of my hands like a magent was attached to it"the soldier replied as they growled at him for that answer motioing them to bring their firearm out which they did opening fire on some civlians almost killing them at that moment
Not wanting to see anymore innocent people die from these animals. Pyrrha eyed the ramins of an atlas shield it seems that seemed big enough like an armsheild. She quickly grabbed it slipping her left forearm under the strapps with a makeshift arm shield. Then she picked up the tactical sword for something more her style
With a nod of condifnece pyrrha dashed forward toward the two to take them down with her makeshift replacement weapons. As soon enough the first soilder noitced her rushing in as they raised their rifle to shoot her. But she waved her hand to the side using her smeblnace to pull away their rifle from their hands
The soidler was puzzled as before they knew it she shield bashed them back a few feet on the ground. The other soldier noticed this firing off a few shots into her hitting her aura a couple times. But one of them managed to hit her grimm arm as she hissed from the pain because that didn't have aura their actually.
Immediately the former champion switched her targets that being them. The soldier kept opening fire on her as she riased the makeshift armshield to protect her from the gunfire as bullet kept bouncing off her shield. This stunned the soldier who kept firing at her several times to put her down
But with a mighty lunge she bashed the soldier into a neabry building wall hard. They groaned as they shook their head trying to regain their focus. But immediately pyrrha socked them in the jaw sending them to the dirt right now
While flynt was behind cover with his partner along with scotty who kept fiirng off some bolts at the soldiers. He nailed on in the leg as they grunted ripping the bolt of their leg that bleed slightly. Then they all began to open fire on them narrowling missing the shelter workers head
"Anyone got any bright ideas?!"he shotued over the gunfire as neon and flyn shared a look
"Neon go fetch!"he shouted as she smiled as she broke from cover using her semblance to dash forward. The cat faunus left a rainbow trail behind her skating around the soldiers as they began to focus their fire on her enough as they all mostly turned their backs on them
That was when flynt struck as he emerged from cover with his trumphet as he used his semblance to summon four copies by his side. One of them had a black rimmed hat, another had a icy blue colored hat and lastly one with a green har. While he had a yellow rimmed hat as he smiled
Then he began to blow into his trumpet which fired off a wave of sonic blast at the soldiers. The soilders soon noticed it trying to run away but they got caught in it as it sent them all flying a few feet with some of them cuvlusing from the electricity with one of them being frozen in place bashing at their legs with their rifle.
Neon was skating around smiling sticking her tongue out"eat that you emo looking–"she was stopped as a black and white blur tackled into her sending her flying hard into a wall as her aura took it but she groaned falling to the ground
Immediately it drew all their attention as the blur zoom into view to reveal who was their. That being the teryx grimm knight as he had ghost white skin like the the rest of them. Along with having a athletic build to him seeming to be in his mid twenties. While he had electric blue colroed hair that was cut short. But for his grimm features he had sharp razor talons on his feet and hands. Along with that he had strange membrane like wings on his elbows that seemed to be what most teryx have
But for his attire he wore jetblack trackpants with white and crimson rne strips on the side. As he didn't even wear snows letting his clawed talons be on full display. While he wore jet black tattered tracksuit with the back of it having the greek symbol for lota colored in crimson red. But his mask was a bone white mask seeming to resemble a teryx skull as his piercing red eyes peeked through it
This made them all on the defensive right now as the teryx knight began to cackle at them for a moment as he shook for a moment
"Awww….are the meatsacks scared? Good….because your interfering in my work…these soldiers where a waste to bring here"the teryx knight said bringing up a foot curbstomping a soldier throat in with a loud crack being heard making them back up
May swallowed as she shared a look with angie as the women thought of something.
"Hey lec! You oversized chicken! Come and get me!"angie called out making the grimm hybrid known as lec snarl at her. Then he planted his feet using his host smeblnace as he dashed forward. Angie tried to run itno a sprint but he was too fast for her as he snatched her up immedialty holding her by the throat squeezing on it
Lec stared at her for a moment"ohhhh i know you…i saw you around…well it won't matter. I'll just drag you across the ground and make you into paste"he evily said
Though as angie tried to grab that one syringe she kept on hand. Immediately pyrrha noticed her being held as she narrowed her gaze. The red head then rushed forward riaisng her sword and shield as she struck the grimm knight at that moment
Pyrrha lunged forward jamming her blade into his side but she was met by laughter as lec stared down at her for a moment. Then immediately he spin kicked her into flynt rushing over to help as he tossed angie into a wall hard as she gasped in pain. The hybrid snarled as he flexed his hands
"You vermin….i wonder which one i should take right now"lec said but as he thought about it. Soon enough a figure dashed forward as suddenly lec felt someone grab his arm as he dind't even hear them. As immediately the grimm knight was flipped onto his back hard. Pyrrha picked herself up to see someone their
That being a women in a full latex body suit that had a cloak on with a gravestone on the back of it. Along with that she carried a spear on her back as she easily planted a foot on lecs face as he growled at her glaring at her
"One of you are here?! I thought mother made sure that you all ran scared"lec asked tuantily but the women didn't answer as instead she easily pulled his arm forward dilsocating it as lec didn't react. As quickly he leaned his feet back kicking her back a few feet in the air. But as she fell she quickly recovered grabbing her spear staring him down scoffing
"So…you know who i am. Good because right now some of us are sick of hiding because of your so called queen you monster"the women with the spear said as lec gripped his arm jamming it back into place snarling at her. Then he looked around for a moment then decided to do something
That be running away as he zoomed off away from them at that moment which confused them. May rushed over to hunter and her cousin
"Cousin what are you–"henry was stopped
"Shut up and get out of here right now. I can handle whatever happened here with the atlas patrols"may said as the two nodded booking it right now as pyrrha was curious who that women is
"Ma'am who are…you"pyrrha stopped herself because just like that the women was gone from their sighs. This confused them for a bit until they decided to wait for the atlas patrols to come by and ask them some questions on what happened.
Although as the day dragged on soon enough it was nighttime in the city of atlas right now. But some people where looking to have a grand time to signal off their day off as right now walking the lower part of mantle right now where harriet and company after enjoying their probably pne day off
But right now the women girlfriend had an arm wrapped around her neck with a smile on her face. Because right now most of them where trying to hype someone up whent why get inside their intended desiantion
"I think when you get inside wags…you pop that charm of yours you got dog boy"nate hyped up with a grin
"Yeah i mean….it would be just embarrassing if she flat out rejected you. Maybe she will"jill added not helping him with his confidence
Marrow frowned with his tail sagging"shut up! Come on why did i even agree to this stupid thing?!"he shotued in the middle of the street getting some attention but they decided to not even bother with whatever going on with them

As they sat down a worker came by with a notepad to take their order but looked surprised

Cera sighed"well my dad still cares about me i guess…after what i did. Though i'm lucky you guys let me room in your place and hired me"she replied

This chapter got interesting with marrow getting a rabbit number who is also one velvet scarltiina sister. I might have go back to preivous chapters and change meg and wills age. But theirs also the introudciton of the teryx grimm knight, one more from the original thirteen. But I wanted to make penny interesting not make her beep boop i'm a robot, nah cyborgs with meeting flynts dad, i'd love trying to expand the charaters who were just off to the side. Been fun coming up with ideas for them
