Chapter 14:Now were family?
Inside the halls of the apartment nora was huffing and puffing with every step she took down the hallway. Because she was getting sick and tired of everyone taking ruby side right now. All because she had an accident and couldn't control her emotions. Which made her freak out after seeing weiss getting shot
This was starting to get on her nerves at this point because if she did something like that. They would all probably be on her case saying that she was just being her. Well she was having none of it anymore
"Seriously i pushed your dumb sister…sorry your dumb sister cut my boyfrined arm off"nora said to herself in annoyance
"Oh lets just baby her since her stupid eyes can cause her to lash out if she doesnt have happy thoughts. ''She said in a mocking tone then pretended to be her for a moment flaunting her arms around.
"I have special eyes from momma. News flash some of us don't even have our own parents anymore"She said walking to her room right now
But hot on her trail right now was summer as ren was doing his best to try and keep her calm. As he glanced at her eyes early seeing them fill with slight blackness which worried him if she might lose control for her intended target

Eight years ago
Eight years ago in the anima somewhere right now in a deep dense part of the forest. Someone was traveling the woods as the woodland creatures roamed close by or grazed in the field studying her from a distant to see what they were doing.
But that someone was summer rose two years into her isolation as she was roaming the woods looking for anything right now. A safe place to rest for a while maybe even help out a few travellers passing by that have trouble with grimm. Though what didn't help was that she was praticualry exhausted right now
The women kept walking through the woods without a goal in mind as she kept walking for what felt like minutes. Ten minutes went by as she kept walking until passing by some foolaige as her legs couldn't take it anymore. She eventually collapsed on the ground right now from lack of sleep from running so much
Though as she did she noticed two small figures infornt of her as could have sworn she heard a familiar voice call out to her
After what felt like hours summer soon woke up panting for air as sweat beated down her body. She felt herself over relief but as she felt her right arm their was her metal arm that was still shiny and new after she decided to get one to make fighting those grimm hybrids easier
Summer sighed in relief rubbing her head"where am i right now?"She said as someone laughed calling to her
"Well your in my home right now. Its nice to see my old student show up after not seeing her since the birth of her daughter"a mans voice called out making her go wide eyed in their direction
That being a man who was near a small campfire with a bowl above it right now. He seemed in his early fifties for his age. He had seafoma green hair that was braided into a ponytail with some grey throughout it. As he was wearing a simple medium green gi on his body that had a dragon curled around the shoulder ready to strike down anyone.
But for his eyes they were silver just like hers as tears came to hers
"Wu!"summer siad praticualry lunging out of bed hugging the man who laughed smiling returning the embrace at that moment.
"Its good to see you too old friend."wu replied as she separated before taking in her surrounding
As she seemed to be in a manmade hut that was quite large in appearance. From what she could tell their were animals pelts on the walls hanging their possible for trade. Along with some vials and medical euqipment on another shelf. With another containing some food their with some water kegs close by.
Their was also some dust crystal and dust powder on a nearby shelf too. But what caught her by surprise was seeing two small kids who seemed about nine years old for each of them. As one had ginger hair and the other had black hair.
Both of them were sitting on a bed as the girl hide behind the boy who stared at her with pink eyes.
" who is she?"he asked as the man chuckled walking over rubbing his head
"Li i told you enough of the formalities. You can call me wu or shui alright"Wu reminded as he nodded as summer glanced at the girl who flinched hiding behind the boy. She was curious
"When did you take two kids in?"summer aksed as he shot her a look for a moment sighing
"When did you decided to fake your death. I got word from someone that you were declared dead"wu said staring back at her as she looked away avoiding her mentors eyes because she rather keep it to herself
"I have my reason for going into hiding right now. Reason that i'm sure you'd understand since my father said you experienced the other side of our eyes"summer said pointing to her as the man glanced back at her mashing some herbs into a mixing bowl
Then he finished mashing them up as he dumped them into a pot that was some stew with vetagabtles and some meat in the mix of the stew. Wu the grabbed four bowls as he poured some into each of them. He handed two to the two kids as immediately the orange hair girl scrafed it down slurping it down
Then she burped a little as the other boy slowly ate his as wu sighed
"Nora i told you need to enjoy your meals. If you scarf them down like that you won't enjoy them"Wu scolded softly as she nodded as this was a younger nora and ren.
Then he offered summer a bowl as she was about to refuse but her stomach growled loudly as she stared at it. Because it smelled good then at him as he raised an eye, sighing in defeat she took the bowl taking a spoon blowing on it before taking small spoonfuls of it.
The two of them ate for a little bit until eventually it started to become very late from their silence. Then the two children that were their slipped into bed they shared together drifting off to dreamland.
Wu finished tucking the two in as he spoke"these two tucker themselves out easily. Despite the little girl having the energy of a you when you where a child"he said
"I get it. You watch me grow and in my fathers steed you mentors me in my eyes…you know what i meant early. You can assume the rest"summer said as he nodded
"So its come to that time you've expeirned those side of your eyes. I was dreading that day myself when i was younger. A terrible thing to experience is that why you left. Because your afraid with your husband bad luck it might cause you to act up?"he asked as she hesitated to nod but did
"Then thats why you were out in these woods seeking me out?"he added
"Sort of. I've been on the run from that witch and her servants actually. They keep hunting me down everywhere i go she keeps finding me. Its been nice and i rather not put you and them in harms way"she said getting up to leave
But as she did he put an arm up stopping her gesturing to something for a moment those two kids he had.
"Do you see those two right their?"he asked confusing her
"Their just two kids why should i care?"summer asked annoyed as he revealed why
"Those two children lost their parents in kuroyuri. Their the only survivors"wu answered to her shock hearing it was destroyed. As the two sat their for a bit he decided to offer her something
"Please stay here for a bit summer. I understand you've been running but its been two years. Settling down for a while won't be too bad and besides during that time we can train your eyes. To control that side of them"he offered
The women slightly went wide eyed for a moment as she thought about his offer nodding shaking his hand as the student wanted to learn more from her mentor.

Summer sighed thinking about that deal it was nice settling down somewhere for about a few months. Then when they finally found her and him with those kids he begged her to run with them that he'd hold them off. She didn't want to saying they could fight them together but he didn't want to risk the kids safety.
That day was one of her worst decisions sometimes because she left behind someone she considered family.
"I miss him still at times…i wish i could see him again"summer said
"I as well. It pained me seeing that selket women took his own eyes as her personal trophies"ren sadly stated making her go wide eyed that what she did with people with silver eyes.

In agreement the two decided to return to the locker rooms to change not really knowing who is awake right now
Because in the loung right now everyone was doing one thing celebrating someone waking up from their mini coma right now. As right now cooking up some dinner for everyone tonight was dravan along with megan assisting him

He missed playing it infront of crowds right now. This wasn't a grand crowd but it;ll do for him right now wondering if he should write eria a song at some point
