CH 25
When Pete arrived home an hour later he went and sort out his sea bag then went to have a long hot shower. he hasn't seen Nikki since she walk off the bridge. After he had his shower and dry down. He walk into the bedroom with just the towel around his waist.
He stop in shock when he saw the bed and who was on it. Nikki was wearing green barbie doll suite and was lying on the green silk sheets and duvet cover that was folded in half.
"what the" he step forward
"like what you see sailor" Nikki said in sexy tone
"Yeah I do but what happen on Hammersley" Nikki sat up and move till she was on her knees at the end of the bed where Pete is.
"Kate told me about lieutenant O'Brien and his comments, every thing so we plan on having words with the lieutenant and to make it look like you were in trouble with me for not telling me"
"I was going to tell you when I got home"
"I know, Kate told me"
"so I'm not in trouble then" Nikki sat up on her knees and wrap her arms around his neck and kiss him
"no, you not in trouble, not yet"
"Meaning"
Nikki smile as she move her hands down his chest to where the towel is. She pull it away from his hips and drop it onto the floor while looking at him. Then he remove the barbie doll from her then he move her to lie down on the bed with him on top.
"For that stunt you did on the bridge and all of this, I'm going to punish you"
"Are you now"
"Yes I am starting with"
he kiss her passionately then he slowly punish her for two hours before making passionate love to her three times before they both feel asleep with only sheet over them as Nikki snuggled up to his side.
When Nikki woke up and hour later she was lying on her back and she felt a body lying next to her and hand moving up and down her stomach then she felt the body move till it was lying on top of her
"I know your awake" Nikki open her eyes to see Pete looking at her
"how did you know"
"your breathing change and you started to smile"
"Ah"
"So ready for round two"
"round two"
"Yes" then he lifted the sheet and move down Nikki body
"Pete what are you... Oh Pete" Nikki relies what round two is.
He punishing her again like he did before. But only for half an hour then they make love twice before Nikki collapsed on top of Pete chest as they both covered in sweat.
"Wow what a way to spend and afternoon" Pete said making Nikki laugh as she turn to look at him
"Yes it is"
"Why aren't you at work?"
"double shift, from lunch time last night till hour before Hammersley came into port"
"ok so when your next shift?"
"tomorrow morning"
"Ok" he move his hands up and down her back while she move to kiss him.
"What about nick isn't he due home soon"
"He staying at a friends house for the weekend, it his friend birthday tomorrow so they and other are having a weekend party"
"Ah dose he know that I'm home till Sunday"
"Yes he dose, but this party was plan weeks ago before you knew about the patrol rosters"
"True"
"Hey you got me" Pete smile
"Yes I know and guest what"
"what?" Nikki asked then he flip them both over
"I've still got a lot of anger to get rid of" Nikki smile
"Have you now"
"Yes I have"
then he kiss her and made love to Nikki once more like he normally dose if he in an angry mood. He love watching her scream out his name over and over again till he collapsed on top of her while breathing heavily. When he move to look at Nikki
"I need another shower" Nikki laugh
"so do I and I did say in the note every centimeter of you" Pete smile
"Yes you did so care to join me"
"Yes I would" he kiss her before they both got up and walk into the bathroom to have a shower together.
After they showered and gotten dress they fix the bed up so it would be airing before they walk into the kitchen to get a cold drink each. Then they went to the pub where the crew is to join them for drinks and dinner.
"buffer are you ok" ET asked
"Yes why did you asked"
"you look tied, Nav punish you when you got home"
"Yes I did and he will finish his punishment tomorrow"
"What has she got you to do" Swain asked
"not saying" then he took a mouthful of beer.
They talk for an hour before Mike and Kate arrived to join the crew for drinks. Later that night Nikki and Pete left since Nikki was feeling tired since she hasn't had much sleep in the past couple of days.
The next day while Nikki was at work. Pete went to do some shopping and cook dinner for him and Nikki for when she return home since she called to let him know that she going to be late in getting home.
The next morning Nikki drove to the dock and stop next to Hammersley. They both got out then Pete got his sea bag out from the back. Then he step ford and put it on the ground then he held onto her hands then he cup her face for a minute then they hug and kiss. While they were kissing the crew cheer them on. Kate smile at them then turn to the crew
"Ok that enough, back to work"
"Yes X" they said.
When Pete and Nav broke apart he look up to see the lieutenant on the side of the bridge looking down at them. Pete look back at Nav "what wrong" Nikki asked
"lieutenant, he looking at us"
"Forget about him"
"i will I got an idea"
"what that"
"Just follow my lead"
"Ok" they hug and kiss once more, when they kiss Pete move his hand to Nikki back side and gave them both a light squeeze which cause the crew to cheer them on.
When they broke apart they both were grinning "I better go"
"Same here, love you"
"love you to" Pete said they kiss once more.
Then he bend over and pick his bag up and turn around to walk to the gang way "Pete"
He stop and turn around when Nikki step ford with a smile on her face. She kiss him once more, as they kiss she move her hands to his back side and gave it a squeeze. The crew cheered and wolf whistle at them till they broke apart.
"Just following you lead" Nikki said
"you did that alright. See you in six weeks"
"Sure, I'll talk to commander marshal to see if I can get that time off"
"ok" they kiss once more before Pete walk up and onto Hammersley.
Kate walk over to Nav. "you and buffer plan that didn't you" Kate asked while smiling
"Pete idea since lieutenant O'Brien was watching us"
"You know the crew going to give him hell"
"I know, see you in six weeks"
"sure" Nikki turn and walk back over and got into her car then she drove away while giving the crew a wave.
Hour and half later Hammersley left port for it six week patrol. Later that afternoon Pete was making him self a brew when Kate walk into the gallery
"How was your shore leave X"
"It was good, you"
"Same here. Nikki told me you gave her the idea of the photo"
"Photo what photo" Kate was confuse
"Barbie doll out fit, on sheep skin rug with sexy hungry look photo" Kate through about and smile
"she didn't"
"she did with a note... plenty of cold showers" Kate laugh just as Mike walk in
"what so funny" Kate turn to Mike
"X giving Nikki some bad ideas sir which causes me to suffer till we get back home" Mike turn to Kate since he was making him self and Kate a brew
"what bad ideas"
"cold showers" Kate said smiling Mike thought about it and turn to Kate then to buffer
"some thing lace, silk and sheep skin rug"
"Yes but not silk sir, see through" Mike raise his eye brows
"Really"
"Yep and it all the X fault" mike turn to Kate
"It was Jo idea in the first place Mike"
"I should of guest that one of my sisters has some thing to do with it" Mike said shaking his head.
"now you know" buffer said as he walk out of the galley with his drink.
Mike turn to Kate as he pass her, her drink "cold showers"
"I'm sure you can handle it for the next six weeks"
"When we get home your in trouble"
"like what happen in the past three days" Kate said smiling
"Yes" Mike said smiling before they walk out of the galley talking about other things.
When the six weeks were up the crew looking forward to having a week off over Christmas. Pete spoke to Nikki through Skype and is please she got few days off over Christmas since she explain to commander Marshal why she wanted that time off. He knew about Vicky bad health and granted it.
Mike, Kate, Nikki, Nick and Pete flew to Sydney so they could spend it with there families for Christmas. When Pete and Nikki taxi pulled up out side of Vicky house they could see a new ramp, plies and boards replace that went around the bottom of the house and it was painted since the old paint was pealing off so the house painters strip all the paint off till it was back to bear timber. Some boards needed replacing because of dry rot. Once done the house was painted the same colour as it was before. They got out and collected there bags after Pete paid for the fair. They walk up the new path and ramp till they stop at the new larger door and knock onto it and waited. They heard foot steps and turning of the lock till the door open
"Peter, Nikki, Nick"
"hi uncle Victor, how mum" He said giving his uncle a hug.
"Not good but she will be happy to see you"
"thanks, we will put our bags in our room" Pete said just as Nick and Nikki give Victor a hug.
"Ok" Pete, Nick and Nikki walk down and into there rooms where they put the bags on the bed.
Then they walk back out and into the living room "hi mum" she turn around in shock
"Peter, Nikki, Nick" she said in shock.
They all gave her a hug "hi Grandma" Nick said.
"You starting to look like your father every day" Vicky said to Nick
"I know grandma" They sat down and talk about how things are.
They notice the new bigger doors in every room. They talk about the reservations that been done, and how happy Vicky is that it a lot easier for her to wheel her self from room to room.
Mike and Kate arrived at Mike parents place. They looking forward to spending it with there family especially there kids whom they miss a lot.
The next day was Christmas day. Nikki parents went around to Vicky place for Christmas day. The day before Pete and Nikki went Christmas shopping for food and Christmas gifts for the family.
That morning while in bed after they made love with Nikki on top she bend over and kiss Pete. "I got a special present for you"
"Have you what is it" Nikki reach over and open a draw then she pulled out a folded up piece of paper then she close the draw and pass it to him
"what is it?"
"open it" Pete unfolded the piece of paper and read what it said.
Then he sat up and pointed to one spot then to Nikki who was grinning "Merry Christmas" Nikki said
"what, when"
"Two days ago"
"Oh Nikki that is the best Christmas present ever" he hug and kiss her.
"You know it happen in this very room" Pete thought about it and smile
"Yes it did. I love you"
"i love you" they kiss once more then they made love once again.
Late that morning when Nikki parents showed up they all talk and give out gifts to each other. When it was all unwrapped they talk and laugh for a few minutes.
"I got some bad news to share with you all" Nikki said. They look at her
"what wrong" Nichole asked worried about her only daughter. Pete put his arms around her shoulder for support. She look up at them
"I'm... I'm pregnant" then she smile
"what" the family look at her in shock
"your pregnant" Andrew said
"Yes dad eight weeks" then she show him the same paper she show Pete earlier
"Well I be dam, congratulations" They hug both Nikki and Pete.
When Pete crouch down close to his mum, she got tears in her eyes "I'm so happy for you Pete"
"thanks Mum"
"It a shame I won't be here when the baby is born"
"Yes you will mum"
"We both know I only got about four months left"
"i know and I know no matter where you are mum you will always be in here" he pointed to his chest
"i know" Pete move forward so he could give her a hug.
"you look after Nikki you hear me"
"Yes ma'am" he said smiling.
Later that afternoon while Vicky was in her room resting Nikki send a text to her brothers about the baby news while Pete send message to the crew knowing it would make there day.
Mike and his family were out side relaxing while kids were in the pool when Kate cell phone rings so she got it out of her pocket to see if was a text message from Nav then she open it and read what it said.
"mike" He turn to her
"what wrong" he saw the shock look on her face
"Message from Nav" he walk over to her
"Is every thing ok with buffer mum"
"yes" she still looking at the message then look up at him. There families look at her
"Hammersley getting a new crew member, Nav pregnant" she said smiling. Then she show mike the text message
'Merry Christmas X and captain, by the way, Hammersley getting new crew member, I'm pregnant'
"Well I be,we know that they been planing this since they got married" mike said
"that true" Kate said smiling.
Buffer was getting a lot of text messages from the crew. He show Nikki them, some made her laugh. They all enjoyed there Christmas. Pete spent a lot of time with his mum since he doesn't know when the next time he will see her.
Three days later Mike, Kate, Nick, Nikki and Pete left to fly back to Cairns since they were leaving the next morning for a month patrol. On the way back to Cairns. Nikki held on to Pete hand the whole time.
When they return home Nikki took care of there bags while Pete went to make them a drink. Nick was in his room sorting out his bag and playing video games that he got few days before, for Christmas.
When Nikki walk into the kitchen she wrap her arms around his wait and rest her head on his chest. Pete wrap his arms around Nikki and kiss the top of her head.
Then she move her head so she could look at him "Your worried"
"i am"
"she not alone Pete"
"i know"
"victor will call me if any thing bad happens to her, ok"
"ok" then he kiss her lips then move so he could put his hand on her stomach where the baby is then he look at her as she put her hand on top of his.
"your not alone Pete"
"no I'm not" then he rest his head against hers.
"what would you and little one would like for dinner?"
"hungry jacks"
"hungry jacks"
"Yes your sexy pregnant wife is in the mood for the Aussie burger, chicken nuggets with sweet and sour dip, chips, onion rings, chocolate milk shake, frozen coke and M and M storm for desert" Pete look at Nikki in shock then he smile.
"If that is what you want, that is what you get"
"what would my sexy sailor husband want" Pete smile
"Same as you but spicy sauce"
"i would love to have that but I don't want to get heart burn while pregnant"
"Good idea" he kiss Nikki then made there drinks then pass Nikki her tea since she got to cut back on her coffee.
They talk about the nursery what theme to have. "Blue a good color" Pete said
"so is pink, yellow...Green" Nikki said smiling.
"We might be having a boy again" Pete said
"girl" she said smiling
"well there is only one way to find out"
"Yes in three months" Nikki said.
"Well next month when I return we should go shopping together for the nursery"
"Good idea"
