CH 13
When she return back to Pete bedroom he was in bed waiting for her. She pass him his drink as she sat down on the bed facing him
"i wounder how the guys are this morning" Pete asked
"suffering" Nikki said smiling
"could be, we could give X a call"
Nikki reach over and pick her cell phone up that was on the bed side draws, she turn it on and look for Kate phone number then dial it then put it on the speaker phone so Pete could hear as well
After few rings "hi Nikki"
"Hi Kate how are things at you place" she asked while grinning
"Us ladies are letting the men suffer"
"Suffer, how"
"Well for starts having kids scream wacky wacky to all the men who crash here last night" she said laughing
"Really how drunk where they" Kate laugh
"totally drunk, Hammersley crew the guys were tripping over each other as they were getting out the taxi vans" Nikki laugh
"It a shame I wasn't there to see it"
"I recorded it. Oh your brothers... they needed help to walk into the house they were so unsteady on there feet" Nikki laugh
"what about dad"
"He was drunk but not as bad as your brothers"
"What about captain and his brother in laws"
"they were drunk also. I was shock when I saw them so drunk, and the things they were saying to there wives it was funny"
"and captain"
"He was drunk but sober up a bit after he had cup of coffee and shower"
"Ok did any one notice Pete missing"
"Last night when spider said that they had a great time and ask buffer, when he didn't get a reply he look around and called out for buffer. When there was no answer and no sight of him" Pete grin
"Charge relies that they left buffer behind but couldn't remember what bar they went to and relies that all of them are in trouble with you since they lost buffer" Nav laugh
"Did you tell them"
"Yes this morning when I said that buffer called you so you could go and get him. They all think that are in a lot of trouble with you and buffer after what happen last night"
"I hope you set them strait Kate"
"Not yet, us ladies are having to much fun with them. Spider thinks that you would have them all cleaning the whole ship with a tooth brush"
"Not a bad idea"
"when are you and Pete coming around" Nikki look at the clock
"Give us an hour"
"Ok, see you when you get here. Oh have you punish him yet after the phone call"
"no not yet, I might tonight" Kate laugh
"See you when you get here"
"ok bye Kate" then she hung up
"what was that about you punishing me" Pete asked
"When you were trying to sing to me over the phone, I had it on speaker phone" Pete look at her in shock
"what did I say"
"you said to me that you want to make love to me on every part of the ship including the captain chair and you find me sexy in overalls and uniform" Pete look shock
"I said that and X and all the ladies heard"
"Yes and you said you love it when I scream out your name and the way I ride you" Pete groan
"your joking"
"nope" Nikki said smiling
"What is my punishment"
"I'll tell you late, but for now, I'm thinking of all the hang over drunken guys at Kate and Mike place"
"the women must be enjoying them selves?" Pete said grinning
"Oh man Kate and my sisters in law must been having a lot of fun with them"
I agree, so since we got an hour" he took the cup from Nav hand and put both mugs on the draw then he turn and started unbuttoning the shirt
"What do you think we should do"
Nikki move the sheet off Pete the move till she was sitting on his hips as she remove the shirt off her and toss it onto the floor then she bend over and kiss him
"I know what you want to do" they kiss and made love for the next hour.
When they finally arrived at Kate place buffer was lying down in the back seat just in case some of the crew saw him. Nikki got out of her car since it was park next to the garage and walk towards the back door where Kate greeted her
"an hour Nikki"
"blame Pete and we need to talk later"
"sure where is he"
"Back seat just in case the crew saw him"
"Ok ready to has some fun"
"I did this morning"
Kate shook her head as they walk in side and into the living room and stop with her arms folded looking at them Nikki family and crew know that look
"I told you last night if any thing happens to Pete you will have me to deal with, that you including sir"
"sorry Nav" spider said
"sorry, your sorry. Pete call me last night while I was enjoying my hen party. I had to leave my own hens party to go and get Pete cause all you were to busy trying to out do each other with drinks and to top it off you couldn't remember the last bar you were all at" Nav said yelling at them all. She saw that they were still hung over from the night before
"How could you your grown men, well I think you are but you all act like a bunch of drunken teenagers. Hammersley crew and my brothers you know while on shore leave or in foreign port to look out for each other. But last night you all left one behind. If that happen in foreign port you all would be scrubbing the whole dam ship in side and out for a whole year" Nikki said to them all
"you guys sure did screw up" Nikki turn to see Pete walk into the room and stood next to Nikki
"sorry buffer" ET said
"Nikki told me last night she was worried about what you guys might do and she had a right to, plus I did tell the captain and Nikki dad last night that I was heading home." they all look at mike and Nikki father,
"I was drunk" Mike said
"So buffer did you really called Nav" ET asked
"Yes I did and yes she did come and got me and took me home"
"one or two of you should of stayed sober so nothing happens to the others, do not try to pull a stunt like that again and I hope you all learn your lesson" Nav said.
Then she and Pete turn and walk out of the room. Kate follow them till they were out side. "They all still look a bit green X" Buffer said smiling
"Yes they are still suffering. Nikki said you said be fore you wanted to talk to me"
"Yes, that barbie doll out fit"
"Yes" Nikki smile
"two hours of slow punishment last night after Pete had three coffee and cold shower" Kate smile
"Is it in one piece" Nikki laugh
"Yes"
"so Pete what did you think of Nikki gift"
"I was shock but wow she look very hot and sexy in it"
"Ah ha two hours of punishing her"
"Yep she said she going to ask Jane for the name of the shop where she got it from" Kate laugh
"I can do better Nav I'll give you the next catalog when it comes out"
"thanks, who knows what I might find in there that is lime green" she said smiling
"Oh there is. Are you heading home"
"Back to Pete place. We leaving on tomorrow to fly down to Sydney"
"We spending it with my mum till the wedding"
"We won't have time for a honey moon cause of the two weeks course at Watson bay that starts on Monday" Nikki said
"that not all, Nikki going to be helping me move into her place. I got to be out by tomorrow" Pete said
"how much has been done" Kate asked
"some, we going to hire a trailer to move every thing today and to clean up the place" Nikki said.
Kate thought about it and smile "Well since you got to be out by tomorrow, we know where you can get some help"
Pete and Nikki look at Kate then to the house when they hear voices in side then they look at each other and smile
"Many hands make light work" Kate said
"Well the guys could help move as a punishment" Pete said
"Why not"
"Let me" Pete said then he turn and walk back into the house.
"You know Nikki there are some great shops in Sydney"
"I know, I'll be checking them out"
"Got every thing for the wedding"
"Yes, even rings"
"Are you staying at your parent place for the night before your wedding"
"No the hotel so I could get a good night sleep"
"good idea, that what I did as well" They turn when they heard the kids laughing as they play
"It would be great to give Nick a brother or sister"
"Well you and buffer plan on having a baby after your married"
"True" they watch the kids till Pete walk back out side.
They turn to see him grinning "Pete why are you grinning"
"I said for your brothers and Hammersley crew to be at my place by eleven, who ever the last three arrive will be given tooth brush duties so it gives them over an hour to go home and freshen up"
"Ah well we better go and buy some tooth brushes then, won't we" Nikki said smiling
"Yes we will. Tom said he and Heidi will be waiting at home for when guys and I arrive"
"ok, we might as well get going. See you next week Kate"
"Nav how about we meet up on Friday morning, I'll text you a time and place"
"Why?" Nikki asked
"Cause there a couple of shops I want to show you" Kate said grinning
"Ok"
"See you next week X"
"you to buffer" then she watch them walk over and got into Nav car and drive down the drive way.
Kate turn around when she saw the every one walking out side. Kate smile when she saw the guys shading there eyes from the sun. "See you later X" some of the crew said
"See ya" She watch them walk down the drive way.
Mike walk over to her "the women staying here to help you with the kids while us men except for my family going home or to the hotel to freshen up before going to buffer place"
"Are you going"
"Yes, when we return we all can have a late lunch since there plenty of left over food from yesterday" Kate smile
"that true but we do need more bread and drinks"
"True, will you be ok in getting it?"
"Yes mike I am"
"Ok" they walk back in side while talk some more.
When it was quarter to eleven, there was a knock on Pete door. So Nikki went to see who it was. When she open the door she smile "Swain come on in"
"thanks any one else showed up"
"no your the first, you can help Pete in the bedroom"
"sure I notice you got a truck instead of a trailer?"
"Yes, more room"
"Ok where is buffer bedroom"
"follow me" Swain follow Nikki down and into Pete bedroom.
"hi swain you can help me take the mattress out for starts"
"sure" Nikki leave them to it while she return back to the laundry cupboard where she was packing all of buffer sheets, towels, bath maths things like that.
When she just finish packing them she heard more voices, she recognised them as her brothers and some of the Hammersley crew. "hi guys"
"hi Nav, what can we do"
"There boxes in the lounge and in the laundry room that can be taken down and put in the truck"
"Ok, come on guys" Nikki walk into the kitchen and started packing in there when RO showed up
"hi RO"
"Ma'am what can I do to help"
"Ah" she look around
"You can take the chairs down to the truck"
"Ok"
"thanks" then she carry on packing when couple of the crew members walk into the kitchen to take the table down to the truck.
When Pete walk into the kitchen swain was with him "Bedrooms cleared" buffer said
"Ok, you can take the fridge"
"Sure"
"Who hasn't shown up"
"ET, spider and Jaffah" Nav grin
"We know what there job going to be" buffer and swain laugh
"Yes we do" Swain said then he help buffer with the fridge.
It took over half an hour to put every thing in the truck. When Pete walk into the living room where Nikki was vacuuming the floors. She stop and turn to him
"We off to your place"
"Ok any sign of the three missing crew members"
"no, I'll call them" he walk out of the living room while trying to call them.
Few minutes later he walk back into the living room "they on there way" Nikki smile
"Ok, they better have a reason why they late"
"i woke them up, they fell asleep on there beds"
"late night last night"
"Yeah" he gives her a kiss
"See you when I get back"
"ok" he kiss her once more before walking out of the living room.
When ET, jaffah and spider showed up Nav gave them a bucket of soapy water and tooth brush each.
"ET kitchen spider bathroom, jaffah laundry room, go on"
"Ah Nav where is the bathroom"
"Turn left at the door down the end, ET kitchen on the right, Jaffah follow ET, the laundry room is through the kitchen"
"Yes ma'am" then they walk down to there rooms where they would be cleaning.
She check on the three of them every ten minutes till buffer return. He walk into the kitchen to see ET on his hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor. Nikki turn to buffer and walk over to him "All done" He said
"good, have they gone back to mike and Kate place"
"Yes, how are they doing"
"almost finish"
"that great"
"did the guys manage to put every thing away"
"Yeah, we need a bigger house" Nikki smile
"i know but it hard to find a place not only in our budget but one with walk in shower and wheel chair ramp"
"that true"
"We can start looking when we return for the course" Pete look at her
"We, you doing it to" Nikki smile
"Yes I ask if I could just in case one of the patrol boat need a temporary navigator"
"I guest your right but we will be in separate rooms"
"no we won't"
"What"
"Pete there are married quarters for married couples. Commander Marshal got it sorted out for us but it been put on hold till we fax him our marriage license"
"ok"
they talk to few minutes till Jaffah, spider and ET finish. Buffer went to check to see if they done a good job before letting them go after they clean the buckets. Nikki and Pete put the tooth brushes in the rubbish bad before throwing it in the big bin that out side the apartment blocks then put the vacuum cleaner and the buckets in Nikki car.
Once done they look through the apartment one last time as they close the windows before walking out the front door with Pete locking it when he saw the manager of the apartment building
"Wait here Nikki"
"sure"
Pete walk over to the manager who was putting a bag of rubbish into the bin. Nikki watch Pete talk to the manager for a minute then he return smiling
"Pete"
"I've explain to him that we leaving tomorrow to fly down to Sydney. So he agree to check the place now since he saw me and the guys moving every thing out of the apartment" Nikki smile
"that good of him"
"Yeah he ex navy him self so that is why most of the tenants here are navy"
"Really"
"Yep, here he comes" when the manager walk towards them. Pete unlock the door and open in.
"Retried chief petty offer Jim Tapping, this is my fiancee lieutenant Nikki Cateano"
"Nice to meet you ma'am and congratulation on your engagement"
"thank you sir" they shook hands
"Let check the place out shall we" then he walk in side checking out the apartment till he walk back into the kitchen
"I must say this is the most cleanest apartments I've every seen, not even one bit of dust or dirt" Nikki and Pete grin
"thanks Jim Nikki here got three crew member scrubbing out the kitchen, laundry and the bathroom with a tooth brush" Jim laugh
"Tooth brush duties, what did they do wrong to cause them to be given the job"
"One is that they got Pete her drunk last night and second was who ever the least three to arrive to help Pete would be given the job"
"Ah the bucks night, how was it"
"Crazy Jim. Between Nikki brothers, Hammersley crew, captain brother in laws, they were trying to out do each other in drinking compertision"
"i bet there was a few hang overs this morning" Jim said laughing
"Yes there were. When they return back to the captain house I wasn't with them"
"they relies they left Pete behind at a bar but couldn't remember which one"
"Oh no"
"I called Nikki early she came and got me since the others were to busy enjoying them selves. But I told Andrew, that Nikki dad and our captain that I was leaving. They forgot since they got drunk them selves"
"Did any one else know that you were leaving earlier?" Jim asked
"Yes all the women from Nikki hen party. I was drunk when I called her" Nikki laugh
"I put my cell phone on speaker so the women could hear Pete trying to sing while drunk" Jim laugh
"I didn't know she had it on speaker and the things I said, oh man talk about embarrassment"
"It must have been good"
"It was, the women including our XO and my mother laugh after I hung up"
"Well it nothing compeer to this morning, our XO she got the kids to wake the men up yelling out wakey wakey. They were either suffering or still partly drunk. Nikki here made it worse when she yell at them this morning when we arrived at captain house. Man I never seen a bunch of hung over men who look sea sick" Jim laugh
"Well it serve them right"
"True" they walk out side where buffer lock the door while Jim fill out the paper work then pass him a couple then Pete pass him the keys
"thank, your bond will be in your account by Thursday and I'll cancel the automatic payment"
"I'll do the same" they shook hands
"good luck with the wedding next weekend"
"We will thanks" then they shook hands before going there separate ways.
