Chapter Eighteen

James recognized the two rangers who just arrived at the scene. The original green ranger and the original pink ranger have come to help against the Dark Elite.

"Who are they?" Sage asked.

"They are legends!" James exclaimed with delight, "The original green and pink rangers as I live and breathe!"

"You won't have to fight this threat alone," the green ranger told the group, "because we are here to fight by your side."

"You've got to be kidding me!" Geneva exclaimed, annoyed.

"What'll we do?" Nathan asked.

"We retreat for now," Keith told his team mates, "we will deal with these rangers at a later time."

With that, the three soldiers left the area.

"Hey!" the pink ranger exclaimed, "leaving so soon?!"

"It's okay, beautiful," the green ranger held his lover's arms, "we'll get our chance."

"So, what brings you guys here to Ocean Bluff?" Casey asked.

"You guys aren't the only rangers impacted by this new threat," the green ranger answered.

"We'll talk more when we return to the hospital," the pink ranger added.

"How did you..." Lily started to ask.

"How did you know about what was going on?" Rekino asked.

"Because Jillian happens to be our daughter," the pink ranger answered as she and the green ranger powered down, revealing Kimberly and Tommy Oliver.

Casey looked at his fellow rangers before they powered down as well.

"So, let me guess," Kimberly glanced at the Jungle Fury rangers, "Red ranger is Casey."

Casey nodded.

"Blue ranger is Theo."

Theo nodded.

"The yellow ranger is Lily."

Lily nodded.

"And the white...rhino ranger is Dominic."

"That's right," Dominic nodded, "good thing we are where no one can see us."

"That's the point," Tommy replied, "unless certain circumstances, we have to keep our identity secret at all times."

"So, RJ must be the...purple wolf ranger," Kimberly stated, "and Jillian is the Pink Ranger."

"That's right," Casey nodded, "but at this time, he's out of commission because he doesn't have his wolf spirit, and Jillian's blaming herself for what happened."

"No surprise there," Tommy replied.

"It was just weird," Jillian told RJ as he, Master Finn, Flit, and Fran were listening intently, "it almost felt like I was sleepwalking the whole time I was controlled. Somewhere deep down while I was under that spell, I wanted to tell you that I knew you guys were the Power Rangers."

"That's how magic spells work," Finn replied, "it can keep you under too deep until something breaks the spell, such as looking into another person's eyes."

"Or breaking the item that had you under its control," Fran added, "which seems to be your case."

"You wouldn't be the first person who went from bad to good," Flit stated.

"I wouldn't be surprised there," Jillian replied.

"Have we told you of the time Jarrod was taken over by Dai Shi?" RJ asked.

"No," Jillian shook her head.

"I was arrogant and got expelled from the Pai Zhua Academy," Jarrod explained as he and Camille entered the room, "I released the evil spirit which caused Dai Shi to possess my body. He made me do terrible things."

"The rangers told us we were good people," Camille added, "the yellow ranger was the first to convince me I was a good person, and I eventually proved she was right by helping against Dai Shi."

"The red ranger was convinced there was still good in me," Jarrod stated, "and eventually, that was I was able to cast Dai Shi out of me, and eventually help the rangers and the masters against Dai Shi and helping the chosen protectors to destroy Dai Shi for good."

"And look where we are now," Casey spoke up as he, Lily, Theo, and Dominic joined the room as well, "Jarrod and Camille are now students in Pai Zhua, making their lives better."

"He's right," Jarrod nodded.

"I just want to say how sorry I am for what I done to all of you," Jillian apologized, "especially where you guys welcomed me into your lives, especially you, RJ."

"You didn't do it willingly," RJ assured her, "and that's the important part."

"Exactly," a voice replied from behind.

Jillian turned around and looked on in surprise, "Mom, Dad."

"What's going on here?!" Kartras demanded, frustrated at the latest defeat, "Can any of you do anything right?!"

"The two new rangers came from out of nowhere, Mistress," Keith answered.

"You know I don't tolerate excuses!" Kartras replied with anger in her tone, "I sent you three to do one simple job and this is what results!"

"It was their fault for not detecting the two rangers that arrived," Geneva replied, pointing at the rinshi.

"Give me a break, Geneva," Kartras scoffed, "blaming the rinshi isn't going to get anywhere."

"What do you suppose we do?" Nathan asked.

"I still have the wolf spirit in my possession," Kartras stated as she looked at the gem across the room glowing purple, "and I have a feeling there will be more of those rangers where those two came from. I also got some information about the Ronin Warriors and their guardians that are joining forces with the Power Rangers as well."

"Ronin Warriors and their guardians," Keith stated, "the ones in the armor that have been with the Power Rangers the whole time."

"What shall we do now, Mistress?" Geneva asked.

"We shall take this one step at a time," Kartras explained, "starting with getting revenge on the traitorous pink ranger."
