Summary: Previously on The Flash Reborn, after the man has decided to stay as Barry Allen, he decided that the first thing that he'd do before going back out into the field was to get some training in and who would be better then The Arrow himself aka Oliver Queen for 2 months.

Intro

My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. After waking up in this strange new world and in the body of Barry Allen no less, after some intense thinking, I've ultimately decided to stay and accepted my new identity as Barry to see if I have what it takes to be a true hero, there dangers lurking in every corners of the city and with my knowledge of how things will go down I am the only one fast enough to stop them. I am The Flash.

2 Months Later

"Well done Barry, I admit you've impressed me greatly, when you called me 2 months ago and asked me to help you train in preparation for your future "career" honestly I was a bit surprised and skeptical, not because I didn't think you couldn't handle the training regimen as you handled it like a champ but I was surprised that you called me to help you train as I was sure that you would've just done some punches and kicks here and there in your future fights and called it a day." Said Oliver as he and Barry are walking to their training area for one last sparring session to see how well Barry has come along in the past two months.

"Yea, I won't lie to you Oliver that was my initial thought, I had figured that since I have powers now, especially Super Speed, I had thought that I'd be able to handle anything the world would throw at me, but as I had that thought I soon realized how egotistical that had sounded and that having powers doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to utilize it correctly or know how to fight, plus I'm a 26 year old man who doesn't know how to fight like you do, sure I've had some boxing lessons that Joe gave me as a kid but even that isn't enough to tackle the world head on you know?" Said Barry.

In the past 2 months, Barry has rapidly and quickly grown in his training, pushing past his previous limitations and becoming almost as good as Oliver is as a fighter, in fact Barry has almost beaten Oliver once or twice in one of their spars. They've worked on Barry's endurance and stamina first off as Oliver has quickly discovered that before they could do anything they need to work on, Barry's strength and stamina as even without his speed, Barry is...relatively slower even as a normal human, so to fix that small issue Oliver had Barry do all kinds of running drills and techniques to better help him. Everyday and night, for the rest of the week Barry has worked tirelessly to strengthen his stamina and endurance levels up to better help him run at normal speed, 1 week had passed since then once that issue was fixed Barry was able to run at his fastest speed without his powers, nearly as good as an athlete runner/sprinter.

The 2nd week Oliver had Barry work on his strength training and have him gain much needed muscles as a 26 year old man with a lanky body isn't easily equipped to endure such a difficult and harsh vigilante life, so Barry did just that by doing 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 pull-ups, 100 weight lifting exercises along with a variety of set and rep schemes with kettlebells, dumbells, barbells, and bodyweight moves everyday and night like his first week, to the point where Barry went from a lanky body to an Ectomorph body, a six pack, more muscles on his chest, arms and legs but not to the point where they would slow him down when he runs or in combat. It's a perfect physique for him and Oliver agrees.

The 3rd week and going onwards, finally Oliver had started teaching Barry all the fighting techniques that he has learned in his 5 years in "hell on that damn island" as he put it. Thanks to Oliver, Barry now knows mixed martial arts such as kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and many more to the point where if needed he can handle 10-15 guys in a matter of minutes with just his regular speed alone.

"Thanks to my two months of training with Oliver, I feel that I'm ready to take on any meta humans and even regular humans a lot more easily now, thank god I decided to ask Oliver to train me, otherwise I'd probably would've gotten my ass kicked more times then I would've liked, really would've sucked if that happened."

When Barry had some time to kill from his harsh training with Oliver, he decided to make himself a new suit in between his training as he feels that the season 1 unprotected suit wouldn't exactly do him some good, the season 8/9 suit was awesome as hell, along with the season 4 suit as he's thinking of making a mix of the 2 suits to make an entirely new suit and it would be a great shame to not have it.

"I mean making a suit like that can't be that hard, after all Barry was able to do so in the comics so I'm sure I can do the same here."

Before the training session began 2 months ago, Barry had traveled to STAR Labs to informed the group there of what he plans to do as he felt that they had the right to know, Cisco and Caitlin agreed almost immediately to Barry having get some training in, even the good 'Doctor Harrison Wells' has agreed to that, saying how Barry could use the training before going back out there in the field. He also returned the suit back to Cisco as he felt that he should have it back since he's going to be creating his own suit, before he left however he told Cisco that he could work on any future upgrades he might need in the future but for now he'll make and design his own suit. Cisco was shocked and disappointed when he was told from Barry that he's gonna be making his own suit but he eventually got over it due the promise of upgrading his new suit in the future.

Barry's new suit is a mix of the season 4 suit and the season 8/9 suit, as the fabric is made up of a mix between reinforced tri-polymer so it doesn't burn up as it's heat and abrasive resistant and it's a tight like but breathable fabric so it's not suffocating but in the design of the season 8/9 suit along with the brighter shade of red, the cowl is in the same design as the season 4 suit but made up of the hybrid fabric that the tri-polymer and the tight like breathable fabric, his very own custom HUD connected to the STAR Labs satellite so he can see where he needs to go, the earpieces on the cowl are the same as the season 4 suit, the lighting bolt emblem is the same as the season 9 one but without the golden outer ring and is designed to be within the suit, not as a additional piece of the suit, the lighting bolt belt and the design on the arms are the same as the season 4 season but like the emblem, it's designed to be within the suit, has sensors built into the suit so the group at STAR Labs can continue to monitor his vitals, has cold-resistant threading along with a heating/cooling system just in case. A defibrillator with a 5 time use for in case his heart stops. Last but not least, Barry has also added in the golden boots as the red and yellow just works very well together.

The suit has been created but been kept in storage in Oliver's lair as he hadn't used it yet, after all The Flash has yet to have made his official debut and till he has officially finished his training with Oliver, then will The Flash be officially born.

Apart from creating a new suit that would definitely make Cisco jealous, Barry has also taken the opportunity to improve on his powers and abilities one day at a time, discovering new ways he can use his abilities in combat, when practicing on a test dummy as a lesson from Oliver, Barry has discovered that he can phase through objects by vibrating his molecules at the frequency of air, shoot lightning created by the current when he runs, create speed mirages by running so fast that it'll look like he's in two places at once, create wind turbines by rotating his arms in a tight and fast motion, and so much more.

"I mean I already knew I can do those things due to my knowledge of how the series went down but it's nice to actually learn how to do them my own way instead of just being handed all that power."

"Barry? You ok?" Said Oliver as he and Barry are at the training ground for their last spar to see if Barry is truly ready.

"Yea sorry man, just got lost in my thoughts, I was thinking how I've never would have gotten this far or became a better man if it weren't for you so thank you Oliver, for all you've done for me." Said Barry, truly grateful to have been trained by Oliver.

"Not a total lie but he doesn't need to know the rest of what I was thinking."

"You're welcome Barry, honestly training you had been fun and if it'll help you stay alive in your new role as Central City's protector, then I'd gladly do it again. Now then enough with the sentimental stuff, it's time to see if you're truly ready for this life. Beat me and you're ready, fail to beat me then you're not ready. Understand?" Said Oliver as he got ready to see if Barry is truly ready.

"Yea, I understand, I will beat you Oliver and prove to you that I do have what it takes to be Central City's protector." Said Barry as he got ready to win this fight against Oliver to prove that he indeed does have what it takes to be a hero.

(AN: writing a fight scene is a bit harder then I expected it to be so I'm just gonna skip it and make so that Barry won against Oliver, albeit barely since Oliver is still better then Barry at fighting.)

"D-do you yield Oliver?" Panted Barry as he was able to barely beat Oliver in this gruesome fight to show that he has what it takes to be a hero.

"Y-yea, yea I yield, not bad Barry, you were able to beat me in this fight, though next time we spar, you bet your ass I'll win." Panted Oliver as he's tired from the fight and it looks like Barry is gonna drop dead at any moment.

Both Oliver and Barry have fought with everything that they had, Barry to prove he's ready, and Oliver to see if he's truly ready, thus he didn't hold back at all, both of them have scratches and bruises all over their faces and bodies, with Barry's slowly but healing while Oliver's need some time to heal and recover.

"So, did I pass or not?" Panted Barry as he's about to drop dead on the ground but he wants verbal confirmation from Oliver himself that he passed the initiation, that he beat Oliver in this fight and that he's ready to be Central City's Hero.

"Come man, say that I passed already, I can barely stand up as it is."

"Yes Barry, you passed, you're ready." Said Oliver

"Oh thank Jesus, I didn't know how much longer I could've held on."

"Sweet, so if it's all the same to you...yea I'm gonna pass out now." Said Barry as he did exactly that: fall flat on his back and promptly went unconscious from the brutal fight with Oliver but extremely pleased that he passed.

"Oh great leave me to drag your unconscious ass to bed, thanks a lot Barry." Said Oliver as he rolled his eyes before he went to his unconscious friend and picked him up to take him to a room so he can properly rest, once he did that Oliver went to his room to do the same but not before treating to his own bruises.

Time Skip

1-2 Hours Later

After 1-2 hours of doing nothing but resting, eating, relaxing after an intense sparring session between Barry and Oliver, with Barry just barely winning, with his suit in his suitcase as he's not gonna wear it just yet, the two of them are now at Starling City's train station as Barry is preparing to return home and become the hero Central City needs.

"So, what will you do now Barry?" Asked Oliver

"Well I'm thinking that before I make my official debut as The Flash, I'd think it would be best if Barry Allen would get his job back before I lose it." Joked Barry as he's sure Captain Singh won't let him have a break like this in a good long while.

"Plus I'm sure he'd say no way in hell if given the opportunity."

"Attention all passengers, the train heading for Central City is getting ready to leave the station, please enter the train or else we may leave you behind." Said the guy on the train's speakers.

"Well, I guess this is me, till we meet again Oliver." Said Barry, holding out a hand as he knows Oliver doesn't do hugs. "Plus if I were to try hugging him he'd probably shoot me with an arrow anyway."

"Farewell for now Barry, and good luck." Said Oliver as he shook Barry's hand in a firm handshake.

With that said, both men went in their opposite directions, with Barry with his suitcase getting into his train to take him back to his city and with Oliver getting into his car to take him back to The Arrow Cave to get ready for tonight's criminal who gained The Arrow's attention.

1 Hour Later

Barry, after arriving home an hour later decided to go see Joe, Iris, Cisco, Caitlin and Wells to see how they're all doing, after checking in on them he decided maybe it's time that he'd move out of his apartment building and start looking for a house, like the one that he used to live in as a kid.

"Plus with Thawne monitoring my every move I need to be careful not to reveal that I know everything that's gonna go down, I have the advantage here, I just keep it at all costs, there's no way he'd know where I'd move to."

His thoughts were instantly interrupted as the STAR Labs alarm went off, signaling him that a building is on fire and the fire department can't get everyone out on time.

"Well I guess it's time for The Flash to officially announce his debut." Smirked Barry as he went to get his new suit from his suitcase. With that said The Flash has officially returned to Central City and had sped out of the Labs to the burning building, ready to protect it and the city from all metas and criminals alike.

After completing my training with Oliver Queen, I've made myself stronger, faster and I've learned new abilities as I've progressed in my training, now I've returned to Central City to truly be the protector that they need and I'll save this city till my dying breath.
