Walking into the hanger, I was met by seven others, each dressed differently. The first one was Charles, he was the only normal looking one here. Black shirt that was also a turtle neck, gray over shirt and brown pants. His usual self.

Next to him was a handsome teenage Caucasian boy with a tall and lean frame. He is very masculine shaped with a V-shaped torso, broad shoulders, square jaw, and clearly defined muscles. He has clean-cut brown hair and his eyes are hidden by his vizor.

His uniform is a dark navy blue bodysuit. Gold platelets with the "X" logo are on both of his shoulders, while a gold X-shaped platelet goes around his chest area. He wears a gold visor, while small gold platelets protect his knee and shin areas. Matching gold combat boots are worn for shoes with gold gloves worn on both hands.

The next person is a beautiful teenage Caucasian girl with a tall and athletic figure. She has long, red hair, which she wears freely down her back and green eyes. Her uniform is a dark navy blue body suit with a cowl that covers her whole body except for her face, hair and hands. The suit has a bright green V-shaped triangle on the front and has the "x" logo on the side of each of her shoulders. She also wears a single bangle bracelet on each of her wrists.

Then there was the one who's physical mutation included blue colored fur covering his body, two-toed feet and three-fingered hands, yellowish-white eyes, pointed ears, fang-like canine teeth, and a prehensile tail. These features give him a demonic appearance. He would blend in rather well.

Then there was the goth girl with grey eyes, pale skin and auburn hair with a notable white streak. We had met before. She had on purple or black eye make-up and lipstick. In her uniform she wears a dark, navy blue bodysuit. Gold platelets with the "X" logo are on both of her shoulders while a green platelet goes around her bust area. A gold utility belt, also marking the "X" logo, goes around her waist, while small platelets protect her knees. Knee-high boots are worn for shoes, and thick, brown gloves worn on both hands.

Next was an American girl with a petite and slender figure. She has long brown hair pulled up into a ponytail with layers that frame her face and light blue eyes. In her uniform, she is somewhat similar to the read head's. She wears a gold-collared, dark navy blue bodysuit with a light purple V-shaped stripe in the front. A gold utility belt marking the "X" logo goes around her waist. Light-purple combat boots are worn for shoes, and thick, gold gloves worn on both hands.

The last one was different from the others. His hair had a signature fork hairstyle. His costume was extremely different, however. His costume was mostly black with small part of yellow, that are sleeveless. He was older than everyone else besides Charles, but something told me that he had years on him. He looked to be more animal than man, even without any physical animal features on him.

"Wanda, I take it that you are ready?" Charles asked, with me looking at him as I walked over to him. "This is Scott, Jean, Kurt, Rogue, Kitty and Logan." He introduced, with Scott walking over to me.

"Hi, nice to-"

I pushed him aside and made my way over to Rogue, with her backing up once she saw I was walking towards her. Getting into her face, I narrowed my eyes at her. "You go into my head once more time, and I will turn you inside out, is that clear?" I threatened, narrowing my eyes at her as I made a fist, coating it in my power as to dare her to try something.

"Sorry." She said in a low whisper, rubbing her arm as she looked away from me. "But... I know how he feels." She said, looking up at me. "He is scared to touch anyone, and the state he is in, he doesn't have much time. So we can fight it out, here and now, or go help him!" She challenged, narrowing her eyes at me.

"I suggested that we get a move on." Charles said, with us turning our gaze over to him. "The sooner we save your friend, the better." He said as he was pushed up the ramp, with me looking at it to see that it was a Jet of some kind.

Later

As the we gathered at the cabin, anticipation and determination filled the air. I felt a mixture of hope and fear coursing through my veins. Dakota fate hung in the balance, trapped in a prison inside the Demon Realm.

"This is it." I said as I stood before the door, scared to reach out for the door knob. "When I open this door, we won't be on Earth anymore. We will be in the Demon Realm." I said as I looked over my shoulder. "Don't let the name fool you, it's not as bad as it sounds. If it's raining, watch out for the acid rain." I warned as I reached for the door knob and turned it.

With trembling hands, I pushed open the cabin door open, my heart pounding in my chest. But to my dismay, the portal I had hoped for did not materialize. I closed the door and tried again, desperation etched on my face. Door opening after door opening, the result remained the same - the portal refused to manifest.

With each failed attempt, my hope dwindled, replaced by a growing sense of despair. I collapsed to my knees, tears streaming down my face. I had left my best friend, Dakota, stranded in the unforgiving clutches of the Demon Realm, unable to fulfill my promise to save him.

The weight of my failure crushed my spirit, and anguish consumed me. My sobs echoed through the cabin, a mournful cry for the loss of a cherished friendship and the pain of letting someone down. The rest of the team surrounded me, their hearts heavy with empathy.

But in the midst of my anguish, Charles Xavier moved beside me, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. His voice carried the calm strength that had guided us here. "Wanda, my dear, you have not failed. We will find another way to save Dakota." He said, but his words didn't become a beacon of hope in the darkness of my despair.

I needed my father...

No, not my father...

My mother. She had a book that told of her tales with the Owl Lady. The book must of had some key to how to get back there, a spell. I needed to return home. Where was home? My brother and Father knew. Track them down, and I would have my answers. Getting up, I pushed them away from me.

"Get off me!" I ordered as I turned around and started walking away. "I need to find My Father." I said as I gritted my teeth and clinched my fists. I was going to find him after all. No one was going to stop me.

No one.
