Vaggie was going over paperwork when there was a knock on the door.
"I got it!" Charlie yelled, rushing to the door and opening it, "Welcome to the Hazbin Ho-"
Charlie froze when she saw Clara. She remembered her from the other day, and since Vaggie said they had a history, she didn't know what to do about this... but... she isn't one to turn someone away.
"Oh, I remember you from yesterday." Charlie said, "Are you... did Sir Pentious order something new?"
"No, I'm... actually here to..."
Her eyes looked past Charlie and at Vaggie.
"Vaggie."
Vaggie looked up from the work and stood up.
"Clara? W-w-why are you here?" Vaggie asked.
"I'm... here to redeem myself." Clara said.
While that worked for Charlie, Vaggie lived with her, she knew when her sisters were lying, and right now, Clara might as well have a nose a mile long.
"Great!" Charlie said, putting an arm around Clara's shoulder and bringing her inside, "You'll love it here!"
"Hold on, Charlie." Vaggie said, "I told you I have history with Carmilla and her daughters, which means I know that danger follows them everywhere."
"Vaggie, I know you have... history... with them, but this place is for second chances." Charlie said, "People with all kind of bad pasts are allowed to come and redeem themself."
Vaggie sighed a bit, but relented... maybe one day she'll fight Charlie on that... but damn it, she loves having sex with Charlie, and angry sex is not fun... because when Charlie is mad she doesn't want to do any kinky shit.
"Fine." Vaggie said, "But I'll take her to her room."
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Charlie said, hugging and spinning Vaggie, "She's going to love it here!"
Vaggie walked with Clara upstairs and to an empty room.
"Here."
"The room looks nice." Clara said, putting her suitcase on the bed, "It's nice to see you again, Vaggie. I-"
Vaggie pointed her spear at Clara's neck.
"I want you to know one thing, if you, Odette, or mother do ANYTHING to hurt Charlie, and I will make sure that I'm the only Carmine left in Hell." Vaggie said, glaring at her sister, "Got it?"
Clara put her hands up in shock. Vaggie was VERY protective of the Princess.
'They must be really good friends.' Clara thought.
"Mom doesn't even know I'm here, and Odette tried everything she could to get me to stop from coming here."
"Then why are you here? We both know you never gave a shit about heaven or trying to better yourself, you even said you knew you'd go to hell when you were alive."
"I came her... because I wanted to reconnect with you." Clara said, pushing the spear down, "We were close, I hated it when you left, and I wanted to try and fix our bond and family."
Vaggie continued to glare at Clara.
"How do I know I can trust you?"
"Vaggie... when have I ever lied to you?"
Vaggie dropped her glare. Clara never has lied to her.
"Fine, I'll give you a chance, but one slip up, hurt Charlie, or cause her any trouble." Vaggie dragged her thumb across her neck, "Dead. I don't care if we're sisters or not, I WILL kill you if given a reason too."
With that, Vaggie left the room, feeling emotions she hasn't felt in almost a year. It made her think back to when she left a year ago. She didn't know what to do, where to go, all she knew was there was no way she was going back to the manor.
'At least one good thing came from that day.' Vaggie said, walking down the stairs and looking over at Charlie, 'The greatest thing.'
