(based on anime)

it's currently November 1998, Naoki Muneyoshi just woke up from a coma he was in after being poisoned in March. he almost died, but one day in April my condition started getting better. Naoki don't know what happened on that April day, but certainly it saved his life. Naoki is still weak from the coma. But he will try to leave the hospital.

Suddelny his friend – Ayato Anju entered my room.

Ayato : Hi Naoki, you are finally awake.. (Even though I woke up, he seems sad and hiding something)

Naoki : You just chose the best moment (Naoki said it sarcastilally)

Ayato : you are still going to go to the class 3-3? Supposedly, they took you off the list of students as soon as you were in a coma and they took someone to replace you.

Naoki: So what? If my family is trurly more vulnerable to the curse ,that will mean that I was going to die first. I still don't know how I managed to survive this poisoning.

Ayato tries now to avoid eye contact with Naoki, He is sweating a bit.

Ayato: Y-yes it was a blessing indeed heh…

Naoki's eyesight is impaired due to his coma so he cannot see suspicious behavior of Ayato.

Naoki: and how are you? you don't get bored in Southern Yomi?

Ayato: I'd rather be bored than have my life threatened (Ayato smiles awkwardly), also I have some great news for you from my friend from Northern Yomi, the curse have been just lifted.

Naoki: How?

Ayato: It ended in a massacre..

Naoki: So to lift the curse, do you have to kill a certain number of people?

Policemen: Officer Akira Kobayashi here (he showed him his Police ID), I have a few questions for you, . It's about the recent massacre.

(Akira Kobayashi interrupts him)
Akira: Mr. Sakakibara , you're not the best liar, not even an average one. your classmates' testimonies differ from each other. In my opinion, you chose people to kill and committed a massacre, the hotel owners noticed it and intervened, you killed them just like the others. Now tell me, who was your leader… Maybe this girl you mentioned earlier.. Mei Misaki, manipulated the whole class? For example, maybe she wanted to see the scenery of death and chaos..

Kouichi: Mei? N-no, she wouldn't do that, she rarely talks to anyone, almost never. Officer… it might be a stupid question.. but do you believe in curses?

(Officer Kobayashi snickered slightly Curses?, he started laughing later)
Akira: Like the curse of your class ?

Akira: Her sister – Misaki Fujioka didn't died from leukemia, it looked like leukemia attack only.

Kouichi: Officer, with all due respect, isn't she being framed for something?

Kouichi: Will she be arrested? (he said it in a worried tone)

Akira: Do you really care about the fate of a possible serial killer and manipulator? My answer is no, I don't have evidence. But I advise you and your class to ignore her completely, you and your classmates who survived can be her next targets.

Sakuya Terauchi cames in and she wrote down Kouichi's testimony.

Next week, Naoki came to his class.

Chibiki Tatsuji: Listen students, we have a new student, and one umm, old student.. but due to his coma he was removed from the list of students, He was supposed to be in a coma longer, than six months so our school made a mistake.

Naoki was heading to his bench, he sat on former Ikuo Takabayashi's seat. Suddenly Ayato came in, he presented himself and sat as well, after he introducted to the rest of the class. After lesson, Ayato started talking to other classmates.

Naoya: So you must be Naoki's friend, he is lucky to woke from a coma. Also ,how did you managed to became friends with him? He is often acting like a princess or something. I tried to talk to him back in 2-3 he just told me that I'm too annoying to became his friend (Naoya laughs)

Ayato: Yeah, we used to attend Yomiyama South before he transfered here 2 years ago, oh and he is just.. Well we were bullied in our previous school, beacuse we are from The Great Clans.

Kouichi: The Great Clans? I don't know what they are

Ayato: Oh The Great Clans are Anju, Minamiyashiki, Hironiwa and Muneyoshi clans. Many people believe that our clans still rule this city and nearby regions from the shadows.

Takeru: Because you are! Filthy bourgies…

Naoya: Oh come on do you really believe in this made-up conspiracy theories Mizuno-kun? at east you should keep it to yourself for today..

They keep talking, with each other, for some time, suddenly Ayato saw Mei Misaki walking to their direction and he freaks out, he fell to the ground.

Naoya: It's just Misaki-san. I know that she can be scary, but not so much that you fall to the floor (Naoya laughs)

Kouichi looks at Mei with a worried eyes. Mei just passes them and she is going on the rooftop, Kouichi follows her.

Kouichi: Mei I have a strange question to ask..

Mei: so ask

Kouichi: Have you enjoyed by any means, this massacre.

Mei: No, I was scared a bit when Akazawa almost killed me, but that's all. Why do you ask?

Kouichi: I'll be honest with you, one Police officer suggested that you might be behind it all. He suspects you for being a serial murderer.

Mei: Just because I don't care about our class doesn't mean I hate them, what a stupid way of deduction.

Kouichi: So I guess he is trying to frame you into something…

Mei: „Princess"? Yeah I know him, he has a simillar attiude like me to this class, but he just despised others, like they were a worse sort of people, well I was an exception I don't know why I was special to him.

Kouichi: So you talked to him?

Mei: Not really, maybe there was a few situations in 2-3 class when we talked a litlle. I think he even complimented me.

Kouichi: Really?

Mei: He said that I'm not annoying

Kouichi: So, you were sort of singled out by him.

Mei: Yes but we never became friends.
