Overhaul and Chronostasis were left shocked when Twice's Eri copy melted into muck, having been recalled after his escape.

"It must not have been the real deal," Overhaul realized before shaking his head. "Not that it matters. Shigaraki still allowed us to create a permanent version of the drug. We can simply have it reverse-engineered. Going back for the real Eri at this point is too dangerous with the hideout swarming with heroes, and only so much of the drug to take them out."

"You don't think they're keeping anything else from us, do you?" Chronostasis asked. "I've also lost contact with Katsukame. He must have been apprehended as well."

"Either that or he's still fighting," Overhaul noted. "Either way it's been taking way too long. What kind of heroes did he wind up fighting against?"

"The kind that will bring you down once and for all."

Hearing the familiar voice, Overhaul and Chronostasis spun around to see Motoko standing there, a hateful glare on her face.

"Motoko? What are you doing here?!" Overhaul demanded.

"I'm helping the League of Villains bring you down and redeeming Dad's mistake." Motoko snarled. "Eri deserves to live in a world without either of us in it."

"So you intend to die here?" Overhaul asked, narrowing his eyes. "Even though we're siblings by adoption, I won't hold back on you."

"I'd rather wait for the right moment," Motoko said as she disappeared into a Warp Ring courtesy of Lord X's Quirk, [Genesis].

"How were the League able to hide Motoko's presence from us if she had joined them?" Chronostasis asked worriedly.

"It doesn't matter. Despite us being family, I won't allow her to stop this."

Katsuki was growling in annoyance as he blasted away another barrage of rocks Mimic was throwing at the group.

"Shitty coward! Come out and fight!" The explosive blonde barked, tempted to go ahead. However, he stayed as Aizawa had ordered him to stay with him.

"The League may have given us the slip, but we're still taking these guys down!" Nia said, avoiding part of the wall trying to cave in on her.

"Don't worry, guys! I've already got a lock on him!" Futaba smirked, cracking her fingers before hammering the keys on her datapad at high speed, sending her UFO construct's tentacles through the walls.

"Fuck you, bitch!" Mimic spat defiantly as he prepared to bring the whole building down just to get rid of this annoyance.

"Language!" Futaba smirked as she finished her preparations. "DATA BOMB!"

A massive pseudo-digital bomb appeared on the bottom of the UFO, dropping right on top of Mimic's current location. Sure enough, it blasted enough of the wall away that Mimic's real body was visible.

With both eyes exposed, Irinaka was easy pickings for Aizawa to shut down his Quirk, falling out of the ceiling, only to land on a piece of concrete floating in the air, courtesy of Rock Lock using his Quirk, [Lockdown], to secure the rubble in a fixed point in space.

"Kickass, Choomie!" Rebecca smirked as everyone regrouped.

"Glad to see no one's seriously injured," Aizawa said.

"It was touch and go there for a while..." Eijirou admitted, regarding the fight with Rappa and Tengai. "And the League have been pulling fast ones on us left and right."

"It's a good thing they haven't been too detrimental..." Hilda noted before feeling [Danger Sense] spike. "Guys, I have a bad feeling..."

Izuku's Haki also went off and he zeroed in on the source of the disturbance, only to gasp when he saw what it was.

"Guys...Eri's here!"

"How?!" Mirio asked in shock. "We made sure she was safe!"

Eri was worried when she met the 'Mario' man again, who had told her that Overhaul would be stopped once and for all but she needed to confront him one last time. While still terrified, the way the man talked made her feel hopeful, especially when he said the people who rescued her would be there as well to help.

She had been brought back to her old room with MX keeping her company before quickly leaving when he heard someone approach. Eri was confused before feeling relieved when she saw Izuku, Mirio, Akira, Hilda, and Ben rush in.

"Eri! Thank goodness you're okay!" Hilda cried as she picked up the little girl and hugged her gently in her warm blubber.

"I-I'm fine..." Eri whispered. "The Mario Man brought me here, telling me I needed to be brave in order to stop Chisaki..."

"She must mean MX..." Mirio muttered. "Well, no use discussing what the League had planned bringing Eri here, we need to leave now!"

As they stepped out of the room, they suddenly felt their equilibrium fading.

"Whoa!" Ben yelped, nearly stumbling over himself. "What the heck is going on?!"

"I-It's one of Chisaki's Eight Bullets!" Eri gasped. "The one that's stinky from whatever he's drinking."

"She must mean Deidoro Sakaki." Akira realized. "His Quirk, [Dead Drunk], can make people experience feelings of being drunk and disoriented. And if he's here..."

Everyone looked up at the ceiling to see the man himself hanging from the pipes.

"His Quirk is right on the money." Hilda noted. "He's completely blackout drunk himself. My [Danger Sense] couldn't even detect him!"

"Yeah, walking on the ground while drunk ain't easy, babe. That's why I prefer walking on the ceiling." Deidoro slurred.

"Hey! Nobody calls me 'babe' but Izuku, creep!" Hilda snapped.

Deidoro poured more sake down his mouth as he hung upside-down only to drop his bottle when the residue alcohol suddenly caught on fire.

"What the hell?!"

"I recognize those flames." Akira smiled as he turned around to see Ann strutting in.

"Considering how much your booze reeks, I'm guessing it must be a pretty high alcohol content. Which makes it very vulnerable to my Quirk, [Witch Fire], which lets me use fire in a manner similar to magic!"

Ann then put her thumb and forefinger together before snapping them like Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist, causing Deidoro to be engulfed in fire from all his booze. Though Ann had enough control over the ignition to only engulf him without completely immolating him.

"Couldn't have done it better myself." Ben noted.

"Hey, couldn't you have used your Fire Element, Ben?" Mirio asked.

"I was all messed up from that guy's Quirk, cut me some slack!"

However, Ben would quickly be able to help as he noticed something and stomped the ground, using the Earth Element to erect a stone barrier that blocked a few incoming bullets as Shin came in.

"Shin Nemoto, just great." Mirio said.

Shin fired off a few more shots, only for none of the group to be affected. Izuku used the [Gum-Gum Fruit] to absorb the bullets and shoot them back out, Ben used his stone barrier for cover, Hilda was obviously able to heal from the bullet wounds, Mirio simply phased through them, Akira phased into Mirio's shadow, and Ann just launched a fire blast powerful enough to melt the bullets in mid-flight.

"Seems I'm getting nowhere here." Shin scoffed, preparing to use his Quirk, only for a blinding light to hit him, making him stumble back.

"Wasn't my [Glint-Glint Fruit]." Izuku pointed out.

"Which can only mean..." Ann smiled as she looked to see Sumire running down the hallway.

"Sorry, Nemoto, but some secrets are better left hidden. Whether in darkness or light."

"I think I recognize that face. I think was about... A year ago now." Shin noted as he got back up when he recognized Sumire's face behind her mask. "A promising young gymnast. Quirkless, sadly, but exceptional in her athletic abilities."

Deidoro groaned as he shook off the burns he now had, confused by what Shin was saying.

"You must be more drunk then I am, Nemoto. That chick clearly has a Quirk."

"I wasn't finished. You see, this girl had a twin sister. She also wanted to be a gymnast but was overshadowed by her more talented sister. They got into an argument, and..."

"Wound up near traffic, where my sister died protecting me from an oncoming car," Sumire cut off, not missing a beat. "And since then I decided to honor her last memory by choosing the path of a hero to prevent such tragedies from ever happening again."

"W-What?!" Shin asked in disbelief, stepping away in shock.

"Did you really think I'd be upset by something that happened a year ago?" Sumire pointed out. "I've managed to move past what happened that day. I've internalized it, and made my mistake into a source of strength. A simple con man like you would never be able to understand the true feelings of people."

"It was your fault in the first place! If you hadn't been an idiot and stumbled into traffic that day..." Shin snapped as he tried to draw his gun again, only for it to be sliced apart by a light blade from Sumire using her Quirk, [Glass Light], which let her manipulate light in all its varied spectrums as well as teleport via light traces and conjure glass constructs capable of amplifying even the smallest amount of light to blinding levels.

"Why should I trust you words? Your Quirk removes falsehoods from everyone else's mouth, but you refuse to remove them from your own. Accidents happen all the time and the only course of action we have... Is to clean up after them!"

"Well said, Sumire." Ben said. "Your Quirk had you force confessions out of people that they didn't want pulling out. You internalized into yourself that all people are just two-faced liars...yet you never understood the concept of something like a kind lie."

Ben combined his Light Element with Sumire's Quirk, the two slamming the combined light energy into the ground and blasting Shin full force, sending him sprawling on his back.

"You shouldn't have been able to reach here so quickly..."

Everyone stood on guard as Eri fearfully hugged herself close to Hilda when Overhaul and Chronostasis stepped into the fray, having been nearby.

"Well, we're pretty fast," Mirio said, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "We're here to make sure you don't get away with all you've done."

"Let me make things simple from here on out then...DIE." Overhaul said coldly.

Mirio glared before sinking into the ground. Before either villain could react, Mirio had leaped up just behind them, swinging for a roundhouse. Overhaul barely dodged, though he felt a trickle of blood where Mirio had managed to nick him. Chronostasis, however, got hit full force, sending him slamming into a nearby wall.

"D-don't!" Eri gasped out. "Ch-Chisaki… he'll kill you!"

In anger, Overhaul pulled off his gloves and thrust his hand to touch Mirio, only to touch mochi instead, unable to use his Quirk on it as Izuku had used the [Mochi-Mochi Fruit] to catch him.

Overhaul furiously pulled his hand out to avoid any form of retaliation from Izuku. The part where Mirio had grazed him was breaking out into hives due to his germaphobia.

"Eri's terrified of you killing us for getting in your way...but you have to touch us to do anything and we won't let that happen." Izuku said firmly.

Chronostasis, still dazed from the blow Mirio gave him, loaded one of the bullets from the case with the perfected Quirk Killer.

"I need a clear shot!"

Overhaul nodded and reconstructed the whole hallway into a dome with no exit, sealing off any escape routes. Chronostasis then took aim, deciding to take care of Akira first and fired. Mirio saw this and quickly dove in front of his classmate to protect him, giving a reassuring smile to everyone.

"If that hits me... I'll probably lose my Quirk for good. But it'll be worth it, to keep Eri and everybody else safe."

However, the bullet stopped mid-flight before it could hit Mirio, who was quickly caught by Sumire and Ann as Overhaul's eyes widened in shock and disbelief as Ben held out his hand, smirking as a phantom hand caught the bullet between its fingers.

"Phantom Element, baby!" Ben smirked. "Bet you didn't expect that to be an element I had!"

"Chrono, reload quickly!" Overhaul called out furiously. "Start by targeting the boy!"

Chronostasis nodded and prepared to reload, only for his arm to be wrapped up in Hilda's [Blackwhip], forcing him to drop the gun.

"You won't be hurting anybody else, you monster!" Hilda snapped.

"I'm no monster. I'm just using the curse of Quirks to make a cure for this disease." Overhaul scowled. "Really, you should be thanking me for restoring the natural order of things."

"What natural order are we even talking about here?" Ben asked. "Honestly, I don't care. You abused a goddamn child for your own selfish ends, so now we gotta stomp your ass in the dirt where it belongs!"

Ben then formed a giant skeleton arm with the Bone Element, grabbing Overhaul and pulling him in before switching to the Metal Element, turning his fist into iron as he punched Overhaul in the face, sending him flying back.

"Boss!" Chronostasis cried only for Mirio to rush toward him.

"BLINDER TOUCH EYEBALL CRUSH!"

Chronostasis closed his eyes, expecting Mirio to poke them when Mirio suddenly twisted around and slammed his free fist into the thug's stomach, knocking his mask off from the force as he vomited out saliva, passing out from the pain.

By now, everyone was starting to arrive as Overhaul managed to pick himself up, a furious look on his face.

"More heroes? You're all pests that I can't get rid of!"

"No, the only pest is you, Chisaki!"

Overhaul cried as he felt a knife stab into his shoulder, making him fall to one knee as Motoko came in. Eri's eyes widened when she recognized her mother.

"Mama!"

"Take her away from here now!" Motoko demanded to everyone. "It ends now!"

"You traitor!" Chronostasis snapped, having recovered enough to use his Quirk, which had the same title as his codename, to shoot his clock arrow-like hair strands at the ones with Eri, Hilda, and Akira.

"I can only reach with my minute hand, so they'll only be slowed down for a minute!" Chronostasis thought. "But that should be enough time for Overhaul to destroy them!"

Hilda grunted as the arrow strand grazed her and Akira as Motoko came to them. Chronostasis was quickly pinned down by chains courtesy of Zenkichi.

"Your actions are futile, Kurono. Just give it up."

"I wouldn't say that, His sacrifice may be just what I need to continue my plans." Overhaul said, having healed himself. "I'm not about to let them come to nothing right when I have all I need. So do me a favor...AND GIVE ERI BACK TO ME!"

He slammed his hands into the ground, aiming for the slowed-down Akira while Hilda had managed to recover from Chronostasis' attack thanks to her Quirk. WIth his slowed movements, Akira wouldn't be able to phase into the shadows in time...

...Only for Motoko to shove him out of the way and take the attack in his steed, her vitals being pierced as Eri cried out in horror.

"Sis, why...?" Overhaul asked himself, shocked that his adoptive sister would do this. "I thought you hated Eri...for killing your husband?"

"SMOKESCREEN!" Hilda cried out, engulfing the entire area in smoke as Nighteye went to check on Motoko.

"MEDIC!" Nighteye called out. "We need a damn medic over here!"

"No! No doctors!" Motoko pleaded. "I don't deserve any kindness...not after what I put Eri through...giving her to that madman."

"Mama...!" Eri sobbed as Hilda held the little girl close, tears welling up in her own eyes.

"Kai needs to be stopped today...we both must pay for all the suffering Eri has endured..." Motoko said, coughing up blood. "Please...give Eri the life I couldn't give her...tell her I'm sorry I couldn't be a better mother...Tell her...I love her..."

With that, Motoko's hand went limp in Nighteye's hold, the Foresight Hero bowing his head in sorrow before looking up to glare at Overhaul, who was furious at this turn of events as he went over to the unconscious Shin.

"Sorry about this, Nemoto..."

Placing his hand on Shin's face and the other on himself, Overhaul was engulfed in a bright purple flash before, much to everyone's horror and disgust, he rose as a more monstrous version of himself with two extra arms that had mouths in the palms.

"He's gone berserk!" Aizawa realized. "Guess this is what happens when you back a psychotic madman into a corner!"

"I won't let a bunch of idiots who don't understand how the world should be get in my way!" Overhaul roared. "This diseased world will finally be cleansed!"

"If anyone's diseased, it's you!" Mirio snapped. "Don't try making your actions out as some noble quest! You tortured a little girl to create a weapon, all so your criminal friends could have some respect again! That's just pathetic!"

Chisaki's eye twitched. "Don't you call everything I've worked for pathetic, you idiotic child! I am saving this world, and if I have to kill Eri and bring her back a thousand times to do it, I will!"

"You like to run your mouth a whole lot, don't you?" Ben said as he was now behind Overhaul, having used the Teleportation Element. "Makes smacking you around all the more fun for me."

Ben then formed a pair of skeleton hands from the ground with the Bone Element to grab Overhaul's upper arms while Mirio dove in and pinned down his other arms. Struggling, Overhaul turned to Eri, who was being held by Hilda as she comforted her and spoke through the mouths on his Shin-arms.

"This is your fault, you little brat. If you'd just decided to stay, so many people could be spared. Just come back, and I can put it all back together. I'll make everything better once more."

Eri stared at Overhaul in fear but seeing Motoko's dead body on the ground and the reassuring hold Hilda had on her...the little girl felt fear wash away into something she never felt before; ANGER.

"You're wrong... You'd kill them anyway, just for angering you!" She cried, shocking Overhaul. "You only keep bringing me back because you need my Quirk! But you just keep killing everyone else! And you'll still keep killing, even if you get your way! That's just the kind of man you are! The kind of man who'd betray anyone who so much as gave you kindness, just like what you did to Grandpa!"

"I BETRAYED NOBODY!" Overhaul roared in fury. "The Oyabun never understood what this family needed! He was content with just us being underlings when we could be so much more! That's why I placed him in that coma instead of killing him! So he could see that world I would make for us, understand it, and accept me once again! The Yakuza before the great disease was feared and respected! But as powerful Quirk users rose up, even within our ranks, the families started to disband. It was only a miracle that let the Shie Hassaikai remain even after centuries. But now I have the means to cure it! I will remove this disease from everyone, even myself when it's all over!"

"And yet you're relying on a so-called curse to do it," Penny stated, causing Overhaul to pause. "You've only called Eri a cursed child, yet your own plan relies on her."

"It's stupid, it's ugly, and all it does is show why Mama never wanted me anywhere near you!" Eri cried.

Overhaul was left reeling as he turned toward his adoptive sister's dead body, a look of genuine betrayal in his eyes.

"Motoko... How could you...? How could you turn her away from me like a common hero...?"

"There's nothing common about heroes like us!"

Overhaul barely had time to react as Izuku charged in, his fist on fire from the [Flame-Flame Fruit].

"FIRE FIST!"

"We intend to save Eri and all the people you intend to harm or kill!"

Oh yeah, Overhaul is going down! And yes, I killed Motoko, this was the plan from the very beginning. I figured she'd want to sacrifice her life as penance for disowning Eri and leaving her at Overhaul's mercy in the first place.
