"So would Jason." Percy smirked at his brother who rolled his eyes.
"Would've been a little too early though." He said finally, making Percy snort in amusement.
"You guys are in mood for some dark humor today." Nico said amusedly.
"Our life is dark, young child." Percy sighed dramatically.
"Facts, bro. Facts." Nico nodded sagely.
Jason and Percy charged…speed of their sword fighting.
"Why, thank you." Jason and Percy grinned at Piper.
"Is it weird that I'm looking forward to your spar even more now?" Connor said with raised eyebrows.
"Not really because so are we." Percy snickered.
The horses pulled away from…maybe accidentally—so the flat
"On purpose." Percy clarified to the glances thrown his way.
"Aw man, you didn't want to make me a barbeque stick?" Jason teased.
"Nah. It wouldn't have been tasty." Percy shrugged and Jason pouted at him.
"That hurt." He said, making Percy snigger.
Of it hit Jason's chest…blasted Percy off his horse
"Whoops." Jason smirked at Percy this time.
"Uh huh, you forgetting what happened next?" Percy wagged his eyebrows and Jason groaned as he remembered.
"He hates it when somebody blasts him with lightning." Thalia told Jason and they smirked at Percy.
"Its annoying. Smells like a horrible barbecue. Revenge always follows." He said with a grin, rubbing his palms evilly.
Blackjack whinnied and fled into…Why not let Jason kill him?
"Nope." Piper said, determination in her voice and her eyes steely. "Nobody kills my surfer bro." she said and she and Percy grinned widely at each other as they high fived.
No!" she screamed…English was its second language.
"Yeah they prefer Ancient Greek or Latin especially since they haven't been revived since millennia." Zeus scowled, not fond of this whole eidolon business.
"Who are you?"…knocked Jason off his feet.
"Oops." Percy said innocently and Jason punched him lightly in the arm with a grin, making Percy laugh.
"We're gonna settle this, bro." Jason said to Percy.
"Hey, you have the time to back out until we start. I wouldn't blame you." Percy answered back with his signature smirk.
Jason's head hit the asphalt with a nauseating conk.
Zeus and Hera groaned in pain as they gripped their heads.
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that." Percy grimaced. Jason shrugged.
"All good bro. I'm used to head injuries. Got a thick skull." He said, pointing towards his head.
"Yeah, but it looks like it hurt like shit." Percy said, gesturing to Zeus and Hera and both the demigods grimaced.
"You guys good?" Demeter asked her siblings and they winced as they nodded.
"I've had my skull cut open with a saw or something. This is a little better." Zeus said with a small smile.
"Its not the best head massage I suppose." Poseidon teased and Zeus flipped him off.
"Obviously." He said, making the sea god snicker.
"Jason head hit dos." Leo grinned at his best friend who stuck his tongue out at him.
Percy rose…had all of Percy's skill
"Yeah, please don't do that." Annabeth winced as she told Piper.
"Luckily, I didn't. Had some brain left." She joked.
"The eidolon is just controlling his mind and whom his movements are directed towards. Percy's combat skills are something that will show up seeing as the eidolon is making him and Jason believe that they're each other's enemies." Hades explained.
"Yeah, loving all the mind control here." Jason sighed.
"Its lovely." Percy said, sarcasm dripping off his voice.
There was no way she could…not at all like Percy's.
Amphitrite, Triton and Tyson winced as they thought of the sea green eyes that ran in their family being gold and filled with hate. Poseidon slightly flinched not wanting to be reminded of the other set of gold eyes that haunted his dreams. The other five elder gods did not look too happy either, being reminded all too much of Kronos.
You have not chosen," he said…to turn toward the sound.
"Oh, Blackjack. I love you, you sneaky little bastard." Percy grinned at the mention of his pegasus.
"Did you just call your pegasus a bastard?" Reyna arched an eyebrow at Percy.
"Yeah, we vibe that way. Throwing insults at each other is our method of communicating our brotherly love for each other." Percy clarified.
"Ignore it!" she yelped…"You will knock him out."
"That's clever." Athena praised Piper who turned red at the praise.
"Honestly, you wouldn't have had to tell him. I'm pretty sure that's the intention that he came out from behind the bushes with. My guy would've knocked me out anyways." Percy chuckled.
"I love Blackjack, man." Rachel grinned.
"He has trust issues with you as you stole him." Percy informed her and Rachel laughed.
"That was once!" she said.
"Hey, you guys sort it out." Percy chuckled.
The charmspeak washed over Percy… "I…will knock him out?"
"The eidolon is so confused." Persephone snickered.
"He's like she just told me to not hurt him and now she's telling me to knock him out. Are the gods not the only ones who are going through some emotional divides?" Leo snorted, making everybody burst out laughing including the gods.
"Can't blame it though." Apollo wheezed out.
"Oh, sorry." Piper smiled…pavement next to Jason.
"Looks like I owe him a whole bunch of donuts." Percy chuckled.
Poseidon winced in pain and groaned as he felt the impact of a pegasus hoof to the head and not passing out.
"Not the best head massage, I suppose?" Zeus managed and this time Poseidon flipped him off, making Zeus laugh lightly. Hades, Demeter and Hestia chuckled a little as well, reminded of the older times.
"Oh, gods!" Piper ran to…know my own strength.
"Knowing him, that's exactly what he said but with a little foul language." Percy said fondly.
Tempest was nowhere to be seen…where the horse had kicked him.
Poseidon, Zeus and Hera winced in pain and rubbed their heads.
The pegasus bobbed his head…Unconscious boys were heavy.
"I agree." Percy said, giving Grover a teasing look and Grover stuck his tongue out at his best friend.
"Thank you so much, Piper." Jason and Percy said in unison and the daughter of Aphrodite smiled at them.
"No problem, you guys. Couldn't let you guys kill each other without popcorn." Piper shrugged, making Percy and Jason laugh.
She got them reasonably secured…"Blackjack," Piper said. "What?"
"You have no idea how confused I was." Annabeth chuckled.
"The fact that you had a horseshoe dent." Nico snickered at his cousin who grinned.
Zeus, Hera and Poseidon sighed in relief as their heads stop paining like shit.
Piper tried to explain…"Knocked out twice in two days," he muttered.
"Can we make it to a hatrick?" Travis and Conner discussed in commentator voices, making Jason pout at them.
"With my skill, we sure can." He said finally, making them chuckle.
"Some demigod"…got me good once at camp
"Aww, you remembered!" Thalia grinned at Percy who rolled his eyes playfully.
"Obviously I remember you pissing me off. Its some of the good moments." He grinned back and the two exchanged fist bumps.
"For some reason, I do not remember this very fondly." Chiron interjected.
"Aw come on now, Chiron. You know you like it now." Percy grinned at his mentor who chuckled lightly but didn't answer.
"Yeah, but…I could have killed you."
"With a little lightning? Adorable." Percy poked Jason's shoulder.
"A little-" Jason sputtered but hid a smile and Percy just smirked.
"Or I could have killed…an ocean in Kansas, maybe."
"I don't need an ocean, bruv." Percy told Jason amusedly.
"Yeah, he's made of 70% water!" Nico whooped.
"Exactly!" Percy whooped.
"You don't need that to use your powers either." Triton chuckled.
"He does not." Poseidon verified.
"Boys," Annabeth interrupted…you need some rest."
"You're just so done with them." Grover chuckled amusedly and Jason and Percy grinned at Annabeth sheepishly.
"Food first," Percy said. Please?
Everybody burst out laughing.
"Didn't you just have breakfast before going?" Artemis raised an eyebrow at Percy.
"Hey, hitting on the head increases my appetite." Percy defended.
"You know, its actually the opposite." Apollo told him amusedly.
"Well, I'm an exception." Percy said with a Cheshire grin.
And we really need to talk…run over by an electric horse."
"Thanks, honey." Percy told Annabeth with raised eyebrows and Annabeth grinned at him.
"That's a better description than a horrible barbecue." Zeus nodded at the daughter of Athena.
Leo gave the helm to Coach…he dropped his burrito.
Hazel grinned sheepishly at Frank who was as red as a tomato but was smiling.
"That's what happened to Leo too…Boys are so clueless. Even Hazel winced.
Everybody including Percy and all the gods groaned.
"Why would you say that?" Grover groaned.
"I-I don't know-" Jason said. "Sorry, Pipesss." He said sheepishly and Piper chuckled.
"Y'all are so oblivious." Hermes chuckled.
"You're one to talk. You remember Clara-?" Apollo started with an evil smirk.
"Do. Not." Hermes said warningly.
"I could try..."What is a chicken nugget?"
Everybody gasped dramatically even if they were vegetarians.
"I know what it is now." Hazel assured them.
"Oh, man…" Leo shook his…my apprentice, a chicken nugget—"
"Yes, you are my apprentice." Leo nodded and he and Hazel high fived.
"Doesn't matter," Annabeth interrupted…the Mare Nostrum
"No Roman demigod would agree to going through with that quest so you'd be pretty safe." Dakota nodded approvingly.
Percy pointed his pizza…"You sir are a ray of sunshine."
"Why thank you." Jason bowed.
Jason didn't argue…The guy could eat like a satyr.
"Nope. I can clarify that he eats more than a satyr." Grover grinned.
"One of my major achievements." Percy nodded.
The other demigods stared…to call him Mr. B now?
Percy and Dionysus chuckled.
Anyway, he mentioned…be a tribute we couldn't handle."
"You so sure about that?" Dionysus raised an eyebrow amusedly.
Silence fell around the table…Hazel's brother, Nico, would die.
"That's pleasant. I look forward to it." Nico said nonchalantly.
"I certainly do not." Hades said.
"Nope." Persephone agreed.
On the other hand…demigods, Piper felt exposed.
"Its not odd at all, my dear. Being at the center of attention all of a sudden can be a little overwhelming and sometimes it can get tiring. Do not worry that it is odd for a child of Aphrodite, Piper just as being strong isn't odd for a child of mine." Aphrodite smiled at Piper who gave her mother a side hug.
"Thanks, mom." She smiled.
They're my friends…Mount Olympus and wake the Earth Mother.
"Yay." Percy whooped.
"You have no idea how much more I hate that absolute son of a bitch now." Poseidon growled.
Nobody hurts my son or even threatens to." He said. Percy smiled at Poseidon and gave him a side hug.
Piper wondered if the room's…sea god from my dad's time.
"You know your sea history." Amphitrite smiled approvingly at Percy who returned the smile.
Never met him…They're still here in this room.
"That's just brilliant." Hades groaned.
"Looking forward to what kind of stuff y'all do to get them out." Ares raised an eyebrow.
"Chapter's done." Percy announced.
