Mitna Rachnun
Mordekaiser
It was great day indeed that Voraq has been returned to his service once again. He had been his chief alchemist and creator of war beasts and other tools of warfare during his second life in Runeterra. With him at his side again, his armies will possess beasts of war without equal when they march on the living and Hell. Not to mention, their ability to enhance their own living soldiers will also be without equal as well. Voraq's ability to manipulate the laws of flesh and morph it into something else was without equal. He could turn a mountain of animal guts into a monstrous creature of fearful power. As one would expect from someone that was amongst the first Deathsworn.
The title of Deathsworn had gone through several definitions and usages over the years since Mordekaiser had termed the coin. Currently, it was a term used to those that come to Mitna Rachnun with their minds intact as well as swearing allegiance to Mordekaiser. However, in the past, during Mordekaiser's second conquest of Runeterra, it was a term used to those that had showed great power and skill and thus were given an opportunity to gain even more power by swearing their eternal allegiance to the Iron Revenant and become revenants like him. Whether they be living, or undead it didn't matter. All were allowed to become Deathsworn. In return, they were giving not only eternal life as an undead revenant, if they weren't undead already, but also great power and knowledge that only Mordekaiser knew. Knowledge that had been lost to the ages of time, were only learnable by those who become a part of Mitna Rachnun, or only the Iron Revenant knew. For many, the gains were beyond compare and thus fought and worked hard under the Iron Revenant's command so that they may have gain the opportunity to become one of his Deathsworn.
However, just because this offer was available to all, that did not mean many were given the offer in the first place. No, according to ancient history, of what little there was of that time, only a handful of Deathsworn were around during the second life of Mordekaiser. At best, there were only a hundred or so individuals that bore the title of Deathsworn and they all disappeared after the defeat of the Iron Revenant. Those that knew that time knew why this was.
One reason was that the criteria to become Deathsworn were difficult for most to obtain. Only the strongest and cunning were allowed to become Deathsworn. The second reason, and perhaps the most obvious, was that the various Deathsworn constantly killed one another to earn more recognition and power from their lord. Whether it be through duels to the death, subtly killing them with poisons or a dagger in the back, or just plain outright betraying and leaving their compatriots to die, it all didn't matter. All were deemed acceptable and Mordekaiser didn't care. To him at the time, it simply meant the weak were weeded out from the strong. Although, thinking upon it now, perhaps that was a mistake. As hundreds of loyal followers were slain due to infighting. Hundreds that could have prevented Leblanc from being successful in her coup against the Iron Revenant. But then again, Leblanc was one of his most intelligent underlings at the time. She could have found a way to circumvent all those extra Deathsworn just as she did with the others. Something that Mordekaiser has yet to uncover. Perhaps Voraq can give that answer?
Voraq has always been suspicious of Leblanc. Ever since the day they met, the two have never gotten along. Voraq believed that Leblanc was simply using them for her own agendas, whatever they may be, and thus needed to be kept under constant supervision lest she betray them. Admittedly, Mordekaiser indulged him and allowed him to keep her under his sight at all times, but obviously, he failed as Leblanc succeeded in her betrayal of Mordekaiser. While he had planned for her successful betrayal of him accordingly, he also made plans if she failed. Plans that either depended on Voraq stopping her or telling him about it so he can move against her accordingly. Now Mordekaiser wasn't mad at Voraq, he honestly didn't care if Leblanc won or not, he would like to hear why he failed to stop Leblanc when it was his duty to keep an eye on her.
"Voraq, while I am pleased to see you again, you have much to explain yourself. Both regarding Leblanc and how you ended up in a different realm than that of Runeterra." Said Mordekaiser, causing Voraq to nod.
"Yes, milord, I will explain everything to you." Said Voraq before doing so, seeing no need to hide anything from his lord regarding his failure towards stopping Leblanc's treachery. "As you ordered me, I kept a constant eye on Leblanc. Watching out for any signs of teachery or hints of betrayal. However, I also had other duties to attend to. Duties that ultimately caused me to lapse in my guarding of Leblanc."
"How so?" Asked Mordekaiser as he looked upon Voraq, curious.
"As you know, I was an alchemist and shaman of the highest quality." Said Voraq. "My additional tasks aside from watching Leblanc was creating warbeasts and poisons against our enemies. To help advance our conquests. Leblanc used this to her advantage. Utilizing my desire to serve you better weapons and beasts of war, Leblanc told me of an ancient people that held knowledge that could enhance my knowledge in the arts. Naturally, I was suspicious of anything she spoke of so I had her come with me when I went to find this ancient people."
"And this is where you fell at her hands?" Asked Mordekaiser as he heard his story.
"Yes." Said Voraq with a little embarrassment. "Befitting her title as deceiver, she deceived me into acquiring more power for herself. The ancient people she spoke of did indeed possess great alchemical knowledge that would have augmented my own abilities. However, what she failed to mention was that to attain this knowledge without the proper knowledge to deactivate the traps, you will be trapped in a paralysis state for over a hundred years. The knowledge within was trapped within a chest in an abandoned village, one that was abandoned long ago. I had, of course, checked the chest for any traps within. When I did, the traps appeared to be mundane, nothing to worry myself in. Unfortunately, just after I was disarming the traps, Leblanc made her move."
"And this is where she trapped you?" Asked Mordekaiser as he took in all this information.
"Of sorts." Said Voraq. "However, rather than relying on traps and trickery to attain as I believed she would, she relied on combat to defeat me." Mordekaiser was a bit surprised to hear that. Leblanc was always one to prefer trickery and subtly over getting her hands dirty. Let others more qualified to handle the actual fighting. Her talents lay in subterfuge and deceit. She must have believed that the best course of action against Voraq was to engage him in combat. An oddity, but one that paid off.
"How did she beat you in combat? I assume she used her magic to do so along with other means to defeat you." Said Mordekaiser. Voraq was a good fighter. Not amongst Mordekaiser's finest warriors, but he was skilled enough to warrant one to be cautious around Voraq in battle.
"Yes." Said Voraq before explaining in detail. "Utilizing a combination of her own magical prowess and our surrounding environment, Leblanc defeated my escort and her guards before defeating me as well. I don't know how, but she managed to gather the magical energy around us to augment her own magical powers. Something about that village, or perhaps something about the area, enabled her to do so. Its quite a curiosity and one that I would like to venture to again if I have the chance. Regardless of that curiosity, with her increased power, she defeated me and banished me and my warriors to some place. I didn't know where at the time, but she had us confined in a prison of her own design.
"I see." Said Mordekaiser as he processed this information. "She must have sent you to Earth. That would explain a great many things. But that doesn't explain how you were in the possession of that Earth corporation."
"Indeed." Said Voraq. "I assume by Earth Corporation, you're referring to Lyle-Loopty Robotics, correct?" When Mordekaiser nodded, Voraq continued. "It is because of both Lyle and Loopty that I have been freed from my prison along with my guards. Back then, their company was just starting out. My prison along with those of my men were given to them. Apparently to repay a debt of sorts. Their employees freed us by accident while transporting us inside one of their storage area. We must have caused quite a stir as Loopty and Lyle themselves came to confront us. The two were in anger over what occurred there and looked ready to fight us, but I managed to convince them not to. After I calmed down my men and myself, of course. Being trapped in a magical prison for countless centuries and then suddenly being freed can have an effect on one's state of mind."
"You bargained with them?" Asked Mordekaiser, causing Voraq to nod.
"It is amazing how much greed can affect one's judgement when they are offered something of great value and at seemingly little cost to themselves." Said Voraq as he recalled the deal he made with Lyle and Loopty. "In exchange for helping them advance their company, I will gain limited freedom in their company grounds and some free time for myself. Not the best of deals, but I didn't need much nor do I intend on jeopardizing my chance for freedom after so long. So, for some time, I became one of their lackies. Helping them advance their knowledge in the arts of healing and biology. Mainly in previously incurable diseases and cancers."
"You helped in the arts of healing?" Asked Mordekaiser, a bit surprised. Voraq spent more time in his service creating beasts of war and various toxins. Never on things like healing potions or the like.
"Apparently it is frowned upon to create poisons against human beings." Said Voraq. "The humans of this planet, this Earth, they're quite sensitive and easy to offend. A bit sad, but I was in no position to do anything about it. Fortunately, knowing the human body and how it functions along with knowing what it can endure can help one in creating ways to heal it. Although, I will admit I suffered from some setbacks. It appears the humans in this realm don't have the same endurance as those back home. Once I understand their limits, however, it was child's play to create things for Loopty's company that benefit them. With my help, Lyle-Loopty Robotics had a foundation in the fields of medicinal works, giving them much profit." Mordekaiser hummed as he took in this information.
"If this is so, why were you in that prison?" Asked Mordekaiser as he looked at the remains of Voraq's prison. "Why would they imprison such an asset to them if you provided so much to them?"
"Apparently, I overstepped my bounds." Replied Voraq before explaining. "A few weeks ago, I learned that myself and those that were with me when Leblanc betrayed you were not the only ones sent to this new world. It appears that many other Deathsworns and their armies were sent here. By Leblanc or by someone else, I do not know. What I did know was what I must do."
"You attempted to gather my subordinates and attempt to find your way back to Runeterra, yes?" Said Mordekaiser as he looked at Voraq, who nodded in confirmation without hesitation.
"Yes. At first, I thought that Leblanc had sent us into the future. Long after your time. However, I learned later on that this was not the case. Leblanc sent us to another world entirely." Said Voraq. "Once I realized this, I realized that Leblanc was a fool. She had given us a way to gather more power for us with relative ease. This world has so much to offer. Both in manpower and in technological might. It may lack magical might, but that matters little when its technology can offer us much more. Unfortunately, my attempts to learn more about Earth and its weaponry along with finding my fellow Deathsworn have raised an ire of Loopty and Lyle. I presume they didn't like the idea of other likes me running around so they locked me and my warriors up. My warriors wanted to fight back and defy them, but ordered them to comply with the two idiotic humans. They will need us again. Their greed would force them to in time. Speaking of my warriors, did you find them?" Rather than answer, Mordekaiser looked at Keira, who had been so far silent to the conversation.
"The Niskaru we sent to retrieve to you have not seen any other object similar to the prison you were incarcerated in." Said Keira. "Its possible that Lyle and Loopty had you all separated to avoid you all cooperating with one another if you were freed again."
"Niskaru?" Asked Voraq in confusion.
"A new creation of mine. One that can be improved upon even more with you at my side again, Voraq." Said Mordekaiser. "They are artificial demons made from the remains of demons of Hell. They're quite an impressive creation of mine and have already proven to be a useful weapon."
"So Hell does exist." Said Voraq when he heard all this. "That certainly raises the value of this world as well as just how foolish Leblanc truly is. Why did she transport me and many others here?"
"We may ask her before we rip out her head." Said Mordekaiser. "Until that day, we shall continue to grow in power while Leblanc is ignorant to it all. Voraq, welcome to Mitna Rachnun. Your new home and your new place of business. Welcome back to my service."
"As it was then, it is an honor to work alongside you, milord." Said Voraq as he knelt before Mordekaiser. "However, as your loyal servant, I must ask one thing. To be given Lyle and Loopty so I can repay them for what they did to me and my men." Mordekaiser hummed at that.
"Very well." Said Mordekaiser, seeing no harm in giving Voraq their bodies. "The two, however, are already slain, both in the living world and in Hell. Retrieving their bodies for you, however, will be easy to do." While Voraq was a bit disappointed upon hearing that both Loopty and Lyle were dead already, he wanted to torture them a bit along with experimenting with them as well, he would be satisfied with experimenting on their corpses. That should pleased him enough. If nothing else, it'll give him a chance to experiment with the flesh of those that went to Hell."
"That should be sufficient." Said Voraq before rising up. "I shall get ready for the coming gift, milord. Is there a place for me to claim in this…Mitna Rachnun?"
"I will help in making a space dedicated to you." Said Keira as she floated to Voraq. "I will lead you across this fortress city so that you can decide where you wish to reside in. I presume you wish to be somewhere close to where we create the Niskaru?"
"That would be an excellent place to start first." Said Voraq, his curiosity about these Niskaru was quite strong and he wanted to know more about them for plenty of reasons. He then turned to Mordekaiser and spoke. "I will see you soon, milord. And, though you already know this, it is good to be working alongside you again." Mordekaiser simply nodded at that.
"As it is good to have you in my service again, Voraq." Said Mordekaiser. With that, Keira led Voraq away so he can start evaluating where he can start setting up his new quarters and presumably a new laboratory so he can start his new work for Mordekaiser. Once the two left, Mordekaiser thought of his mysterious benefactor and how he still didn't trust her.
Yes, she gave him information regarding Voraq and his return will strengthened his forces significantly, but that didn't mean she didn't have her own agendas in mind. For now, she proved she was an ally to him and he'll listen more to what she had to say, but he'll still keep a close eye on her whenever possible. He didn't want another Leblanc to deal with. Not without some assurance or caution. That would be beyond foolish of him.
At the moment, however, he had something else to attend to.
Meanwhile
Hell
Moxxie and Millie's apartment
Moxxie sighed as he prepared dinner for both him and Millie. Today had been a…rather profitable day for them and I.M.P. as a whole. They not only got paid by Lyle and Loopty for killing the woman they wanted the Imps to kill, which they ended up not doing, but they also got paid by said woman to kill Lyle and Loopty instead. So they got a pretty good payday, even if Blitzo spent all of the money they got from Lyle and Loopty in a stupid plastic horse toy. Overall, it was a good day for them all. So why was he down? Well, it was about his adopted dad. Mordekaiser.
He shouldn't really be upset or down over the fact that his dad kept something from him, he wanted to be his own person after all and his dad was entitled to the ability to keep secrets, but Moxxie couldn't help but feel a bit upset that his dad kept something big as him owning, or at least having influence, over a company on Earth. No one in Hell, as far as he knew, had something like that in their possession, even the Sins and Lucifer himself, but his dad did. He suppose he could understand why he wasn't told, no one in Hell was supposed to have significant influence in Earth, but still, he felt hurt. He would have trusted his dad with any secret that he had, yet he doesn't do the same for him apparently. It was petty of him and a bit stupid, but he couldn't help it. He only seen his dad a few times since he started living in Hell. Once for his wedding, this year's Father's Day, and then when he saved them all from the human police literally yesterday. That was only three times and yet his dad had influence over a human company, a big one if what he knew of this Genesis Conglomerate is accurate, and have people within said company he trusted with knowledge of Hell. It was…well a very big secret and he guess he just wanted to know about it.
Sighing again, Moxxie was about ready to call Millie out of their room for dinner when he heard some knocking coming from their front door. Raising an eyebrow, Moxxie was about to stop what he was doing to greet whoever was there when Millie came out of their room.
"I'll get it, hun." Said Millie with a smile before making her way to their door. Once she did, she opened it and gasped upon who was in front of their door. "Oh, Mox! Its your dad!" Upon hearing that, Moxxie nearly dropped the plate he was holding in shock. His dad was here?
Rushing towards the door, Moxxie was stunned to see his dad in his Rogier form, looking straight at Millie. Looking at Moxxie, Mordekaiser spoke up.
"Are you going to let me enter?" Asked Mordekaiser/Rogier as he waited for them to give him permission to enter their home. Upon hearing that, Millie then quickly let him in.
"Of course, da…Moxxie's dad." Said Millie, still unsure if she had permission to call Moxxie's dad…well dad. "Come on in. Our home is your home." Mordekaiser/Rogier didn't say anything as he made his way inside. Upon entering, he immediately realized just how small his son's apartment was as he was forced to crouch in order to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling.
"Sorry about the height of the apartment, dad." Said Moxxie when he saw his dad had to crouch. "Its not made for people as tall as you."
"Of course its not." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked at his son while crouching. "Imps are typically not as tall as someone like me. I take no offense at this. However, I do believe that there are apartments that there are better quality apartments in this city than this one. Ones that you can afford with your income. Am I not correct?"
"You would be correct in that normally, dad, but you see…well Blitzo isn't the most..." Said Moxxie as he started to explain their situation to his father when said father spoke up.
"He's not the most economically responsible." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier, finishing his son's sentence. Moxxie tried to refute what his dad said, but found he couldn't say anything to refute his dad's words. Instead, he just nodded. "I am not surprised. What I've heard about his business and his spending ventures doesn't paint him to a financially responsible individual."
"That's…an actually fair thing to say about Blitzo." Said Moxxie as he and Millie went to get their dinner ready before it burnt up. As they did so, Millie whispered to her husband.
"Mox, this is your chance to speak with your dad about your issues." Said Millie as they brought out more plates for their food, which were a couple of steaks they needed to eat before they go bad. They were planning on eating two each when Moxxie's dad came so it appears there'll be just enough for all of them. Assuming Moxxie's dad will eat their steaks and hasn't eaten already.
"I don't know, Millie." Said Moxxie upon hearing what his wife just said. "Its too soon and its not exactly something you should speak over around a dinner table."
"C'mon, Mox. Your dad will understand if you bring this up over a dinner table." Said Millie as she put her steak on a plate while Moxxie put his on his own plate. The one that he had been holding all this time. "Besides, why do you think he came here at all? He must have heard about your grievances when we went to that woman so he came here to talk with you." Moxxie, upon hearing that, was about to make a counterargument when Mordekaiser/Rogier spoke up.
"Your wife speaks truth, Moxxie." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he spoke up, catching both Imp's attention. "I heard about what you said to Imogene before she sent you off to your assignment. Thus, the reason I'm here. To relieve you of your confusion and sadness regarding my activities while you were becoming your own person in Hell." Moxxie felt a swell of happiness when he heard what his adopted dad said, relieved that his dad came so quickly to relieve him of his sudden doubt of him and his intentions for Hell.
"Thanks, dad." Said Moxxie as he looked at his dad, who just grunted.
"If a simple secret was enough to make you doubt me, then I needed to come to you. To help relieve you of your doubt." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked at his adopted son. "Now, if you would be so kind, explain to me why you were so distraught over learning I own a conglomerate on Earth."
"Sure, dad." Said Moxxie with a small smile as he and Millie, who was smiling at the two men before her, came to the dinner table with three plates of steaks. Once the two placed a plates on their dinner table, Moxxie spoke up. "Well, you see dad, I think its because we don't get to see each other often. I mean, we only seen each other a few times this year and we haven't really interacted with each other in those times. So, I…I guess I just feel that we haven't interacted much with each other much since I was a kid. I mean, you own a big company on Earth while I'm just an assassin that's barely making ends meet. Mainly due to the incompetence of my employer, but still. I guess I just felt that you don't really care much about me when I learned how much your successful while I'm…well you know."
"How do you have these moments of doubt while knowing just how much I actually possess already." Thought Mordekaiser when he heard his adopted son's reasoning for his moment of doubt of his father. Rather than speak this bluntly, Mordekaiser/Rogier kept it to himself and instead said something else.
"I kept the company a secret because it would be a risk to you, Moxxie, and those that are under my employ." Said Mordekaiser before explaining further. "As you know, Hell is not supposed to have holdings in Earth. We are allowed to make deals with humans or have some level of influence over the lives of the average human, but we're not suppose to have something as big as a mega corporation in their possession. The heavens wouldn't allow that at all. Do you know what they would do if they found out that I possess a mega corporation? They would not only kill me and those that are affiliated with me in Hell like you, Moxxie. It doesn't matter if you had any part to play in my activities or not. They would still target you and your wife potentially just for your affiliation with me. Would they not?" Moxxie and Millie looked at each other, wondering how to answer that question, before eventually giving nods to Mordekaiser.
"Exactly. As for those on Earth that know of Hell, we can only assume it would be the same or something worse." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked outside the only window in the kitchen that gave him a view of Imp city and the only window in the entire apartment aside from the master bedroom one. "I told you both before at that foolish Princess' hotel that Hell needed to change. Well, I believe that, in order to actually bring that change now, we must break the chains that Heaven has on us. And to do that, we must become as powerful, if not more powerful than Heaven. That is the goal of that company you were sent to aid, Moxxie. To help achieve the goal of the people of Hell becoming more powerful than Heaven. There is still more to accomplish, but in time we'll achieve that dream of being on even ground with Heaven. But, that dream can easily be compromised if Heaven or any of the current leaders of Hell learn of my intentions before we're ready. Which can happen if I'm not careful in managing information regarding my plans and what I have on Earth. Your employer is not exactly the most effective when it comes to keeping secrets. So, because of that, along with the fact that I felt you didn't need to know about it, I refrained from telling you about the Genesis Conglomerate and what else I possess from Earth. At least until now." Mordekaiser sighed. "If you wish, I will tell you what you desire to know about my holdings on Earth. I won't tell you everything about them, but I will tell you what I have in my possession and what they do. If that is alright." Upon hearing all that, Moxxie looked at his dad in shock. Processing all that his dad told him, Moxxie tried to speak but found he couldn't. His dad, just gave him a bunch of information about his plans for Hell and was now telling him that he'll tell him even more if he wanted to. It was…quite frankly a lot to take in. He didn't know how to respond to this. Fortunately, his wife covered for him, but not in a way he thought she would.
"Well, all that is great and all, Moxxie's dad." Said Millie respectfully but firmly. "But I think what Moxxie really wants is to spend more time with you." Moxxie looked at his wife in shock at what she said while Mordekaiser was a bit intrigued with her words.
"You believe this?" Asked Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked at Millie, his son's wife and his daughter in law.
"Yes." Said Millie. "My husband is worried about you leaving him out of your life. The secrets were just a part of the bigger issue. He wants to spend more time with ya. Why not provide that to him? Its not like your very busy, right? Now, I ain't say you go spend time with him everyday, but maybe spend more time with him so you can let him know that ya love him and that you care for him. He misses ya and wants to spend more time with ya. He really does. Don't you as well?" Mordekaiser looked at Moxxie, who was looking at his wife with a smile on his face, grateful for her words.
"Is this true, Moxxie?" Asked Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked at his adopted son. "Is this what this is really about? You wish to spend time with me? For us to act more like a father and son, yes?" Moxxie looked at his dad, who was awaiting an answer from him. Seeing this, Moxxie took a deep breath before nodding.
"Yeah, dad." Said Moxxie as he looked at his adopted father with a hesitant look on his face, but one that was truthful as well. "I want us to spend more time together. To actually act like a son and dad. I love you, dad, I really do and I know you love me as well, but it wouldn't hurt for us to do some actual father and son bonding. Right?" Mordekaiser said nothing as he heard this information. Looking at the eyes of his son, which held hope and begging within them. If it was anyone else, Mordekaiser would have laughed at them for thinking to beg before him, but that feeling he was having whenever his son was sad appeared again inside him. He hated it, yet upon looking at his son, he couldn't help but try to appease it. Even if it was something he despised and wanted gone. He really needed this feeling to be checked and possibly removed. He couldn't be a ruler and suffer from this weakness. His enemies will simply use it to their advantage and he can't afford that. Not when he was getting closer to his goals of obtaining everything for himself.
"Very well." Said Mordekaiser, indulging his son for now. "I'll see what I can do."
"Promise?" Said Millie, hopefully but a bit cautiously. The frown on her face caused Mordekaiser to internally scoff at her but he simply nodded.
"I swear it." Said Mordekaiser as he looked at both her and Moxxie. "In fact, why don't we do something together this week. As a way to cement this." Upon hearing that, the frown on Millie's face turned into a smile and Moxxie gasped in happiness.
"Really?" Asked Moxxie with stars in his eyes. Mordekaiser internally sighed at the look on his son's face, wondering why this simple declaration was enough to make him look like…that.
"Yes." Said Mordekaiser as he looked at his son. "Now, if that is all, I need to get going."
"What?" Asked Millie in shock. "But you just said…"
"I said we can meet up later." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier. "I didn't say we can meet up today. I had to make last minute adjustments to my busy schedule to come here. So, I can't stay for long. However, I promise the next time we meet, we'll have more time with each other."
"Its fine, Millie." Said Moxxie as he placed a hand on his wife's shoulder in an effort to calm her down. "My dad is a busy man, so it's a miracle that he even came here in the first place so quickly. Besides, he always keeps his word on things. If he promises to come to visit us this week, then he'll come. Trust me." Upon hearing that, Millie calmed down and sighed.
"Fine, but still. You should stay to eat. We can more than enough steaks for all three of us." Said Millie.
"If you recall, I didn't eat anything at the family barbeque." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he looked at Millie. Now that he mentioned it, Millie didn't see him eat anything at all back at the Father's Day barbeque. "That was because I can't eat. Perhaps by cruel fate or chance, I came to Hell with the inability to eat." Upon hearing that, Millie looked at him in sympathy.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Said Millie as she looked at Mordekaiser/Rogier, feeling sorry for him. "If I knew that, maybe I wouldn't had the family do that barbeque last Father's Day."
"Its alright." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier. "If anything, it reminded me of the joy of having a feast with those that I consider allies." He then turned to Moxxie. "And those I consider family." Moxxie blushed a bit at what his dad said, nervously rubbing the back of his head.
"I love you, dad, and I never doubted that." Said Moxxie. "Well, I guess technically I did, but I just really wanted to spend more time with you, dad." Mordekaiser hummed at that.
"If that is all, I will take my leave." Said Mordekaiser/Rogier as he got up, careful not to hit his head on the ceiling before leaving. Before he did, however, he told Moxxie that he'll tell him soon when they can meetup so that he can make a plan for their little…get together. With that, he left so he can do other important work. Like getting Voraq up to speed on his various projects involving the Niskaru and, potentially, much more.
Humming to himself, Mordekaiser thought of Moxxie and wondered what they should do with each other in their promised…get together. And he wondered if he should surprise him with something. Something on his part to show he cared. Thinking of what that could be, Mordekaiser excited the apartment building and went to one of his shelters so he can safely return to Mitna Rachnun without anyone noticing.
