"It's pretty-pretty, but its old." Muscles said.
"Well, maybe it is a little old-fashioned, but...oh, I'll fix that." Rella said.

"Wait a minute. There ought to be...some good ideas in here." She looked through a book.
"Uh-huh. This one."
"Oh, very nice-nice." Muscles said.
"Like it!" The twins said.
"We can do it. It'll be easy." Rella said. "I'll have to shorten the sleeves... I'll need a sash...a ruffle... and something for a collar. And then I'll-"
"Rella!" Shouted Kanae and Kanao.
"Oh, now what do they want?" Rella said.
"Rella!" Kanae said.
"Rella!" Kanao said.
"Oh, well, guess my dress will just have to wait." Rella said.
"Rella!" Kanae said.
"Rella!" Kanao said.
"All right, all right! I'm coming." Rella said.
"Poor Rella." Muscles said. Every time she find a minute, that's the time when they begin it!"

"Rella!" Kanae and Kanao shouted.
"You know what?" Muscles said to the others. "Rella's not go to the ball."
"What?" Muscles said.
"Not go?" Hikaru said.
"What did you say?" Kaoru said.
"You'll see. They fix her." Muscles said. "Work, work, work. She'll never get her dress done."
"P-p-poor Rella." Muscles said.
"Hey! We can do it!" Muscles said.
"Follow me, Muscles. I know where to go." Muscles said. "Find a pretty-pretty if we can. Rella needs help. Surprise, surprise! Pretty surprise for Rella!"
Kanae and Kanao's Room
"And this too, Rella, my slippers. Now don't forget-" Kanao said.
"Rella, take my dress!" Kanae said. "Here, mend the buttonholes. Press my skirt too, and mind the ruffle. You're always-"
"And, Rella..." Benito said.
"Yes?" Rella said.
"When you're through, and before you begin your regular chores, I have a few IittIe things." Shinobu said.
"Very well." Rella said.
"Mother I don't see why...everybody else seems to have such nice things to wear...and I always end up in these old rags." Kanae said. "This sash! Why, I wouldnt be seen dead in it!"
"You should talk! These beads! I'm sick of looking at them!" Kanao said.
"Trash! Oh, I hate-" Kanae said.
"I don't see why I can't have-" Kanao said.
Attic
"Oh-ho-ho! We can use that!" Muscles said taking the sash.
"Uh... pretty-pretty pretty-pretty-" Muscles said.
"Shhh! Look-it!" The twins said. "Chachamaru!"
"Uh... Iook." Muscles said. "Oh, beads! Oh-ho-ho-ho! Very pretty beads! Oh-ho-ho!"
"Shhh!" The twins said.
Foyer
"The carriage is here." Shinobu said.
"Oh." Rella said.
"Why, Rella, you're not ready, child." Shinobu said.
"I'm not going." Rella said.
"Not going? Oh, what a shame." Shinobu said.
"But of course, there will be...- other times, and-" Rella said.
"Yes. Good night." Shinobu said.

"Oh, well. What's a royal ball?" Rella said. "After all, I suppose it would be...frightfully dull... and... and boring... and... and completely...completely wonderful."
She was taken by surprise as she saw her dress. It was a frilly, sleeveless, pink-and-white dress with pink ribbons and a sash with jade and teal colored beads to go her neck
"Oh, why... its my..." Rella said.
"Surprise!" Muscles said.
"Surprise! Surprise!" The twins said.
"Surprise!" Muscles said.
"Why, I never dreamed...It's such a surprise!" Rella said. "Oh! How can I ever...why...
Oh, thank you so much!"
Foyer
"Now remember, when you're presented to His Highness, be sure-" Shinobu said.
"Wait!" Rella said. "Please... wait for me! Isn't it IoveIy? Do you Iike it? Do you think it will do?"
"Rella!" Shinobu said.
"Mother, she can't!" Kanae said.
"You wouldn't-" Kanao said.
"Oh, no! You..." Kanae said.
"can't Iet her!" Kanao said.
"Girls, please!" Shinobu said. "After all, we did make a bargain. Didn't we, Rella? And I never go back on my word. How very clever, these beads. They give it just the right touch. Don't you think so, Kanao?"
"No, I don't! I think she's-" Kanao began, then realized. "Why you IittIe thief! Theyre my beads! Give them here!"
"Oh, no!" Rella said.
"Oh... and Iook, that's my sash!" Kanae said. "Wearing my sash! She can't!"
"Oh, don't! Please, stop!" Rella said.
"My ribbon!" Kanae said.
"Why, you thief!" Kanao said.
"Kitchen wench!" Kanae said.
"You ungrateful IittIe-" Kanao said.
"Girls, girls." Shinobu said. "That's quite enough. Hurry along now, both of you. I wont have you upsetting yourselves. Good night."
