Nezuko, Prince Tanjiro, and Princess Christiana journeyed through the woods on horseback. Nezuko stopped.

"We should camp here tonight." She disembarked. "The Wraith only appears when light is absent. That's why it ran when it first appeared. Light is its adversary."

Christiana was skeptical. "And you want to stop? Now?"

"It's looking for a mark." Nezuko explained. "Something alive. Our best bet is to be still until night passes."

"She's right. We have to rest here." Tanjiro disembarked as well.

The trio made camp; Tanjiro fashioned a makeshift tent for Christiana.. "Here. You should sleep."

"No, I-I can't." Christiana said with a tremor in her voice.

"Just relax, it'll come." Tanjiro comforted.

"No," Christiana clarified. "I mean I won't sleep. Not after what I just went through." Tanjiro paused, gazing at her. She took his hand. "What's wrong?"

"I just missed you so much." Tanjiro said, a note of sorrow in his voice.

Christiana Smiled comfortingly. "And now you don't have to."

Tanjiro paused thoughtfully. "I'm going to find wood to build us a fire. I'll be back in five minutes." Tanjiro suddenly kissed her passionately.

Christiana Laughed. "That's a see-you-in-five-minutes kiss?"

Tanjiro Chuckled. "I'm making up for lost time." He gazed at her tenderly. "I love you."

"I love you, too." Christiana said breathlessly.

Tanjiro walked away. Out of Christiana's view, a tear ran down his face.
