Shoto's eyes fluttered open.
He sat up. He was surrounded by stone; in the dungeon.
Shoto looked to the nearby window, and Tried to rush to it. He was pulled taut by giant shackles that fit like iron gloves.
He was chained to the wall.
Shoto strained to look out a window.
Arendelle was outside, frozen solid and getting further buried under the ice and snow that was falling.
"No….What have I done?" Shoto gasped. "Chaira...help..."
Himiko entered. She hung a torch by the door. "It's not like you can use your fire anyway."
"How did you know that?" Shoto asked desperately. "Where's Chaira?"
"Because you can't melt Arendelle.." Himiko said. "And Chaira is cold and alone. She'll die soon."
Shoto hid his tears. He wouldn't let this woman see him cry.
"I'm a danger to Arendelle. Get Fuyumi and Natsuo!" Shoto said.
"They have not returned…." Himiko said.
Shoto looked to the storm with worry.
"If you would just try to use your fire and bring back summer…please." Himiko begged.
Shoto met her eyes, desperate. "Don't you see…I can't."
Himiko saw the sincerity in his eyes.
"You have to tell them to let me go." Shoto said urgently.
Himiko walked to the door. She left the torch.
"Try." She said emphatically. "I will do what I can."
She opened the door and left.
Shoto, distraught, heard cracking. He looked down as his shackles began to freeze over. The storm outside picked up.
