Rachel was drinking a mug of hot chocolate while looking at the window in the moonbase central command smiling pleasantly to herself "You know what? I think I prefer days like this" Rachel said as a huge pink cruiser fought against moonbase's defenses in space
"Villains usually don't attack us like this, do you have any idea who it is?" Numbuh 1 and the rest of his Sector came to help as soon as they heard about the attack
"She said her name is Valentine when she announced the attack, pretty lazy name if you ask me" Rachel laughed
"Sir, transmission incoming from enemy ship" A operative said
A teenage girl appeared on screen, she had pink long hair and smiled at Rachel and the other operatives in the room "A pleasure to make your acquaintance kids next door" the pink hair girl said
"Valentine I take it?" Rachel asked
"That's right, my mom came up with the name don't mind it" The girl coughed "How are you guys doing?"
"Pretty great so far, your attack cleared my schedule for the day, Thank you, I guess" Rachel laughed "So… What is it that you want?"
"As a new villain I wanted to make a good impression on you guys, you know… make you guys remember me forever" Valentine smiled
"And you thought attacking the moonbase was a way to do it?" Rachel looked at her smiling
"What? No, the giant cruises was just a distraction you silly girl" Valentine laughed at Rachel
Rachel's expression turned to a worried one "What did you do?"
Valentine smiled at Rachel and pressed a button, an alarm started ringing in moonbase as the vehicle exits went on lockdown "That"
"Hmmm…" Rachel checked her console and tried typing something only to be denied access "Not bad, what is your angle?"
"As I said, I wanted to leave an impression, and that's what I intend to do" Valentine chuckled as she pressed another button
Soon a pink smoke started descending from the air systems inside global command room "Poison gas? please…." Rachel grabbed a gas mask from below her chair and strapped it in her head "That's the most original idea you could come up with?" Rachel said as the other operatives in the room put on their gas masks, Numbuh 4 was having a hard time tightening the buckle in the back of his head, it then fell on the floor as the gas filled the room completely
"I'M GONNA DIE, I'M GONNA… Wait…" Numbuh 4 took a whiff of the gas "It smells like… tutti-frutti… roses and… perfume?" Numbuh 4 looked at the screen with a confused look
"Thanks for being my lab rat boy" The girl chuckled at him
"What does it do?" Rachel asked the girl, smiling "Are you so terrible as a villain that you forgot to put the poison in the gas?" Rachel laughed
"You will soon see…" The girl laughed as she cut the transmission
"Well…" Rachel sighed "No use in panicking… how much time until we get control of the moonbase back?" Rachel asked a 2x4 specialist
"A few hours… three, maybe four at most, the girl really scrambled our controls…" an operative said
"How are you feeling? Are you okay" Numbuh 3 asked while looking at Numbuh 4 a bit worried
Numbuh 4 moved his arms and legs around a bit trying to find anything wrong with him "With you around everything is okay" Numbuh 4 laughed then blushed and covered his mouth in horror
The rest of Sector V, Rachel and Numbuh 86 who was quiet until now looked at him in surprise "T-Truth Gas?" Numbuh 86 looked at Numbuh 4 in shock
"Romantic Truth Gas" The transmission went back on with valentine laughing "I mean, it was all over my name… The ship is pink… you know…" She smiled at them feeling a bit awkward "Well… have fun" Valentine waved them goodbye
Numbuh 4 mumbled something with an annoyed expression on his face
Numbuh 3 hugged him grinning "It's alright Wally, I feel the same"
Numbuh 4 blushed heavily and left the room angry and blushing while Numbuh 3 followed him giggling
"Well… That's a way of confessing I guess…" Numbuh 1 looked at his two teammates as they left the room "What do we do Rachel?"
"For now the only thing we can do is wait for the nerds over here at Global command to fix the security system " Rachel said looking at a couple of boys and girls typing codes in the computer at a distance from where she was sitting
"How can you stay so calm?!" Numbuh 86 asked pulling her hair desperate
"Hey if that's the way I will confess to the boy I like so be it, it may even come as a blessing" Rachel shrugged while smiling at Numbuh 86 blushing a little
"You like someone?" Numbuh 1 looked at her surprised
"What is it with the surprised look? I'm a girl in case you haven't noticed" Rachel laughed
"N-not what I meant… Sorry Sir… How long until the mask filters wear off?" Numbuh 1 asked her blushing a little
"These are for emergencies… 2 hours at best" Rachel sighed
"Hurry with it!" Numbuh 86 yelled at one of the operatives trying to recover control of their base
"You sound in a hurry, who is the lucky boy?" Numbuh 2 laughed with Numbuh 5 snickered with him while looking at Fanny
"None of your business! And If I were you I would be careful with the jokes or your mask might come out flying when I punch you!" Numbuh 86 stormed off the room
"So?" Numbuh 5 grinned at Numbuh 2
""So What?" Numbuh 2 looked at her confused
"Who is the lucky girl?" Numbuh 5 snickered
"No one in particular, what about you?" Numbuh 2 smiled at her teasingly
"Same, No one you know" Numbuh 5 grinned at him
"Can't we try finding a cure for it?" Numbuh 1 asked Rachel
"Without deep sea lab support? Don't think so…" Rachel looked at the ship with a pensive look "How are they pumping this stuff here anyways?" Rachel thought out loud
"They sent in some ships, perhaps there are some ships attached around moonbase?" Numbuh 1 said
"Not that it really matters… we can't even go outside for now" Rachel relaxed in her chair "Our only choice is to wait for the inevitable for now…"
"You don't sound embarrassed" Numbuh 1 said
"I'm just trying to not panic, it would be bad for morale" Rachel laughed "I'm very scared the boy I like doesn't reciprocate to be honest with you" Rachel blushed while looking at the ceiling with a serious expression
"Is he someone I know?" Numbuh 1 asked her blushing
"I guess…" Rachel looked at Numbuh 1 a bit sad
"He would have to be crazy to not like you Sir" Numbuh 1 smiled
"What about you?" Rachel looked at Numbuh 1 smiling
"She… is way out of my league" Numbuh 1 laughed with a sad tone to his voice
"I don't believe in you" Rachel smiled at him "I think any girl would be lucky to date you" Rachel grinned at him cheerfully
"T-Thanks…" Numbuh 1 blushed
"You are just being stubborn at this point…" Numbuh 3 was walking around the Moonbase with Numbuh 4 who was still covering his mouth with his hands
Numbuh 4 took his hands out of his mouth for a brief second "Could you just leave me alone?" Numbuh 4 said clearly annoyed
"Why? You like me don't you? You can't hide it anymore" Numbuh 3 placed her hands on her hips and pouted
"If I take the hands of my mouth I start saying how much I love you and how I think you are cute" Numbuh 4's eyes widened and he covered his mouth again as he mumbled something with his face a deep shade of red in a mix of embarrassment and anger
Numbuh 3 giggled "Now I get it, you are just feeling left out" Numbuh 3 brought her hands behind her head and unbuckled the gas mask as it fell on the floor "Feeling better?" Numbuh 3 asked as she made sure to take a deep breath
"No! You are just making things more embarrassing!" Numbuh 4 took his hands out of his mouth "I love you" Numbuh 4 blushed and covered his mouth again
"I love you as well" Numbuh 3 smiled at him while blushing "There is the cafeteria… you wanna have a date since we are stuck here anyway?"
Numbuh 4 sighed and took his hands away from his mouth realizing it would be useless "Yeah, I pay" Numbuh 4 smiled at her as they went for the cafeteria
"Huh, so they finally confessed to each other…" Numbuh 23 watched Numbuhs 3 and 4 heading for the cafeteria, she wasn't wearing a gas mask, Numbuh 35 was right next to her drinking a can of soda "One of the upsides of having started dating before everyone" Numbuh 23 laughed and kissed Numbuh 35 on the cheek
"Being able to eat is also nice" Bartie chuckled as he handed Numbuh 23 a hamburger
Sonia was looking at valentine's ship, she was wearing a gas mask, Lee was right next to her "There must be a way to escape…" Sonia said
Lee smiled at her and pointed up to an air duct
"Well… We have to try" Sonia smiled at him
"You first?" Lee looked up at the vent
Sonia looked at her skirt "Your mask is damaged?" She asked him blushing
Lee looked at her a bit confused until he realized what she was wearing "Oh… sorry" Lee blushed and smiled at her awkwardly
Sonia giggled "It's okay" She said and then helped Lee get inside the vent, she followed soon after
"Don't they have someone to clean those?" Lee asked while crawling in the ducts
"I think it's not a priority…" Sonia said "You have gum under your shoes by the way"
"I will try taking it off later… I think we are approaching something…" Lee said as he started climbing a section of the vent until he reached a pink room with a machine throwing smoke on top of the vent, Lee and Sonia looked around the room for a bit "I think this is one of their ships… it cut a hole in the vent system and is throwing the gas through it… we have to warn the others" Lee took out his mask since there was no smoke in the room
Sonia took out her mask as well and grabbed a stool nearby "I think it's controlled by robots, how modern" Sonia said as she got up in the stool and checked the upper part of the machine, it had a pinkish fluid being converted into smoke "Hmmm…" Sonia put her finger in the pink fluid and tasted it "Hmmm… tastes like really sweet milkshake" Sonia smiled as she tried to get another taste of it but ended up slipping on the stool and falling on the machine fluid container "Lee!"
"Sonia!" Lee quickly climbed the stool and pulled her out of the machine "What were you thinking?! Are you okay?" Lee said looking worried at Sonia who was smiling while looking at him a bit dizzy
"Hehe…" Sonia hugged Lee and kissed him on the lips
Hoagie was lying on a bench while Numbuh 5 sat right next to him "I'm hungry…"
"You are always hungry" Numbuh 5 said
"I'm more hungry than i've ever been" Numbuh 2 laughed
"Then just take your mask off" Numbuh 5 said
"Only if you take yours…" Numbuh 2 said
Numbuh 5 sighed and took off her mask "That's ridiculous"
Numbuh 2 took off his mask and rushed to a snack machine nearby, he then returned to the bench with Numbuh 2 "Thanks, I love you by the way" he said while opening a bag of chips
Numbuh 5 smiled "I love you too you fool" Numbuh 5 shook her head and kissed Hoagie on the cheek
Numbuh 86 was in her office looking at a clock in the wall "Come on…" she said while tapping her feet
"86? You there?" Patton was on the door his voice was a bit muffled by the mask
"Of all people…" Numbuh 86 mumbled to herself quietly as she got up and opened the door "What do you want?"
Patton was holding Numbuhs 83 and 84, Sonia was all drenched in a pink liquid trying to kiss Lee while Lee looked at her a bit scared "Guess who tried to get in one of the love gas ships?"
"Oh god… bring them over" Numbuh 86 went back to her desk while Patton released Lee as the boy stepped back a little from her "What happened?" Numbuh 86 looked at Lee
"There is this crazy machine on the ships that is converting some kind of liquid into gas, Sonia fell over this liquid and got like that… I love her but she is scaring me a little…" Lee blushed
"Poor girl, you two get out, i'm gonna try drying her and see if the effect ends" Numbuh 86 said while taking a towel out of a closet in her office as the two boys left Sonia in Numbuh 86's hands
"So? You think she is going to be fine?" Lee asked Patton
"It's hard to say, as far I know it might as well be permanent" Patton laughed
"Don't even joke about it…" Lee blushed "What about you? You like someone?"
Patton chuckled "You just talked with her"
"Are you crazy?" Lee asked him a bit surprised
Patton sighed "We don't choose who we like" he patted Lee on the shoulder "You done in there?" Patton knocked on the door
"JUST A SEC, DON'T YOU DARE OPEN THIS DOOR!" Numbuh 86 said while drying Sonia hair "How are you feeling girl?"
"I wanna enter my room and cry…" Sonia said blushing on the verge of tears
"Yeah I imagined, relax, he still loves you" Numbuh 86 laughed "i only have this decommissioning officer clothes, is that okay with you?"
"Well… It will have to do…" Numbuh 83 dressed herself and then left the room, she met Lee in the hallway "Uhhh… Look… sorry about that…" Sonia looked down at the floor
"It's cool, I liked the kisses" Lee chuckled then blushed "Sorry… that was the gas"
"Yeah but it only makes you say the truth" Sonia giggled "Would you like to go for a walk? I wanna use it as an excuse to kiss you more…" Sonia covered her mouth and blushed "Sorry…"
"I… Would love to" Lee said as they both left the hallway
"Eeewww…" Numbuh 86 said while looking at the two
"You say that but you keep your mask afraid to confess to someone… interesting" Numbuh 60 laughed at her
"I could say the same, who is the victim?" Numbuh 86 crossed her arms grinning at him
"After you, I'm already surprised enough you like someone, is it a boy or a girl? I don't discriminate" Patton grinned at her in a challenging tone
"Very funny, It's a boy, it seems not every single one of you is despicable" Numbuh 86 looked at him angry
Patton laughed "Do I know the lucky guy?"
"Good question… I guess so, you look so much like him" Fanny laughed "What about the lucky girl?"
"Ehhh…she is a bit unaproachable, I'm not sure you know her" Patton said a bit flustered
"Anyways…" Numbuh 86 coughed while blushing "These ships they mentioned, you wanna give them a look?"
"Yeah sure, follow me I know the place" Numbuh 60 led Fanny to a air vent, it had a bit of pink liquid on it and on the floor right below it "Numbuh 84 told me he had to drag her while she kissed him through the air vent"
"This is the stuff this gas is made of?" Numbuh 86 took some of it on her hand "Looks like some kind of juice…"
"I wouldn't touch it if I were you, you saw what happened with Numbuh 83" Patton said as he climbed the air duct
Numbuh 86 cleaned the strange liquid in her shirt a bit grossed out
"Yeah… we have a problem…" Patton said as he looked at the air duct from inside it was covered in the pink liquid "Well… you only live once…" Numbuh 60 said as he started crawling inside
Numbuh 86 jumped and entered inside the air duct "Eeewww…" Numbuh 86 said as she started following patton inside the air duct crawling behind him
Halfway through the air duct Patton started feeling his face getting warm "damn it…"
"You are feeling it as well?" Numbuh 86 felt her heart beating faster "It's affecting us through the skin…"
"Should we turn back?" Patton asked her while panting
"We got this far already… No way I'm turning back now, hurry up!" Numbuh 86 yelled at him
Patton laughed "That is why I love you" Numbuh 60 lowered his head after noticing what he just said "Damn it…"
Numbuh 86 kept crawling in the air duct to the end in silence blushing heavily, after entering the ship they looked at the mess Sonia made
"They weren't kidding… they made a real mess" Patton said in a monotone way a bit shaken up for having confessed
Numbuh 86 took off her mask and hugged him from behind "Thank you for confessing first… I love you too you idiot" Numbuh 86 pressed her face against his back
Numbuh 60 breathed a sigh of relief "I thought you were mad at me" Patton smiled
"I would never get mad at you for something like that…" she released him and gave a light punch on his shoulder
Numbuh 50 turned around, took off his gas mask and kissed her "You are beautiful…"
"You aren't so bad yourself… In fact I think you are really cute" Numbuh 86 laughed and kissed him back and then sighed "So? should we start investigating?" Numbuh 86 looked around the ship
"I wanted to keep kissing you to be honest…" Numbuh 60 said while checking the machine "Sorry…"
"It's okay, I feel the same… we still have a job to do though" Numbuh 86 chuckled as she checked a console with information about the attack "Hmmm… it's made of a mix of tropical fruits and a rare flower… interesting" Numbuh 86 said
"What should we do? Report back to Numbuh 362?" Patton said
"It's a robot… I wish we could drive it back to that girl…" Numbuh 86 said while looking at the front of the ship that had no controls just a window "Wanna stay here for a bit? You know… it's not the most comfortable but no one will disturb us…" Numbuh 86 grinned at him
"I was waiting for you to say this…" Numbuh 60 hugged and kissed her as they both shared laughs and kisses inside the enemy ship
"The filters must be wearing off by now…" Rachel said while looking at the pink cruiser, she stayed in the command room the whole time with Numbuh and the operatives who were trying to recover moonbase control "How are you feeling?"
"A bit tired" Numbuh 1 said "Aside from that I feel fine, what about you?" Numbuh 1 asked
"Could be better" Rachel sighed "We will need to do a security check this week, she seems to have hacked in moonbase controls way too easy, those are always so boring" Rachel pinched her nose bridge
"Want some help? I love this kind of stuff" Numbuh 1 said smiling at Rachel from behind the gas mask
"Of course, Having you here in moonbase always makes my heart go crazy" Rachel said and then sighed "Well… great" Rachel took off her mask blushing a little while looking at Numbuh 1
"I am the boy you like?!" Numbuh 1 looked at her surprised
"Yeah… Sorry about that…" Rachel looked at him a bit embarrassed "Don't feel forced to accept me" Rachel smiled at him a bit sadly
Numbuh 1 took off his mask "Are you kidding? You are the girl I was talking about earlier, I love you Rachel" Numbuh 1 smiled at her
Rachel smiled as she put a hand on her chest and let out a sigh in relief "Thank God… Wait, you think I'm way out of you league? I'm pretty normal" Rachel giggled
"Don't try being modest, you are beautiful, and way higher up in the ranks than me" Numbuh 1 blushed
"Thanks about the beautiful part… No one cares about the ranks though, come here" Rachel got up from her chair and hugged Numbuh 1
Numbuh 1 kissed her "Yeah it was kinda dumb…" Numbuh 1 said chuckling
"I see you guys are getting along well" The transmission went back on
Rachel sighed "Privacy much?"
"But you guys are so cute…" Valentine said "I just wanted to say I'm pulling my robot ships out, you can breathe easy now" She said while her cruiser started moving
Rachel sighed "Just what we needed, another crazy villain"
"It ended up in our favor though if you think about it" Numbuh 1 chuckled
"I See everything is going well here" Numbuh 86 smiled she was holding Numbuh 60's hand "We went inside one of the ships, got tons of information about them along with a few codes, no need to thank us" Numbuh 86 hyanded a flash drive for an operatives who was in a console
"Now let's see…" The operative connect it to the console and a few minutes later he managed to activate the vent system and opened the main hangar "Done"
"Wasn't so bad, I wish every villain was like this" Rachel laughed and then kissed Numbuh 1
