We're back on chapter 4.
REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN LOST IN OZ OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.
In the palace, Dorothy, Evelyn, and friends were all gathered for an emergency after the Wicked Witches' attack. Dorothy looked at her mother in concern.
"One of those Witches, one of them was the one you talked about when Langwidere put me in a painting, was she?" Dorothy asked. "The one my great grandma dropped her house on?"
"The same. Grandma told me about her." Evelyn confessed. "But she told me very much about the Witch of the West. She's worse than the other one."
"Worse? You got that right!" Reigh said. "The most cut-throat in Oz, like her sister."
"I can't believe she and her sister would come back to life." Scarecrow said. "I can still remember the fire she put on me."
"I think I remember my mom telling me about the Wicked Witch of the East. She made us Munchkins slaves." Ojo said.
"And Winkies were the Witch of the West's slaves." Patchwork Doll said.
"My dad once told me my great, great grandfather was those Wicked Witches' partner in crime or something." Roquat said.
West looked at her mother in anger.
"You never told me my power came from that green Witch. It's no wonder I turned green sometimes." she snapped.
"I didn't want you to know about her." Cyra said sadly. "She was wicked. A psychopath. A monster. Langwidere was corrupted by her legacy."
"I can really tell that she's related to you, West." Ojo said.
"Ojo, don't wear it out." West said.
"So how is it possible that they're still around after all these years? Are they immortal, too?" Reigh wondered.
"It's not possible. The first Dorothy Gale destroyed them eons ago. But I think their special bonds with their ruby slippers and broomstick brought them back to life." Cyra said.
"The ones my grandma once had?" Dorothy asked.
"Yes, Dorothy." Evelyn asked. "Grandma told me the Wicked Witch of the West wanted them to conquer Oz, and get revenge on her for her sister's death."
"But she doesn't need them anymore now." Cyra said. "With the slippers of silver and ruby, the two Wicked Witches are powerful than before."
"They won't stop at nothing until Oz will be theirs to take over." Evelyn said.
"I knew they would come back." A voice was heard.
The Scarecrow recognized the voice. The group looked to see who it was. It was a man with a cane.
Roquat recognized the man. "The Wicked Wizard."
Scarecrow smiled in glee. "The Wizard of Oz."
"It's good to see you, my friend." the Wizard said.
The group did not believe their eyes as they saw the Wizard himself.
"That's the Wizard from my great grandmother's adventures in Oz?" Dorothy was surprised.
"And you must be little Dorothy." the Wizard said before turning to West. "And you are the clever witch that found the Belt."
"How did you know?" West asked.
"When I hidden all the ancient treasures underground for protection, I only prophesized that a true sorcerer would find the Nome King's Belt, and bring all the realms together."
"But if that's true, why did you take the Belt and destroy the Treasury of Oz?" Ojo asks. "Weren't you a good man?"
"I doubt that. No offence." Roquat said.
"I had many visons and nightmares of the two Wicked Witches returning from the dead. I hadn't told Glinda about it, I didn't what her to worry. I thought if they did ever come back, they'd take the Belt. So I didn't had a choice. I took the Belt and hided it somewhere only a good witch would find it and protected it from the forces of wicked."
"So did that mean blowing up the Treasury would be the hard choice?" Reigh asked.
"To keep Langwidere, the Wicked Witches' last follower from stealing the treasures? Well, yes." the Wizard answered. "But I was wrong about the Belt.
"Because it wasn't the Belt the Witches would want to get. It was only the magic shoes." Dorothy said.
"Yes, I fear this would happen. I-I should have destroyed them, but I wouldn't, I didn't want to. The ruby slippers were the memory of our Dorothy Gale of Kansas." the Wizard said sadly. "I should have said anything to Glinda. And I am sorry I…"
"Don't be. You were only trying to protect the Fairylands, that's all." Roquat said forgiving.
"But, what are we gonna do about those Witches?" Patchwork Doll asked. "They're powerful than Langwidere."
"That won't stop us." Dorothy determined. "We defeated Langwidere and Guph. And somehow, we'll stop those Witches."
"Dorothy, you haven't seen those Witches. They're very dangerous." Evelyn said worriedly.
"Mom, Grandma Dorothy defeated them before. I can do this, too." Dorothy said.
"Then so are we." West determined before she, Ojo, Reigh, Patchwork Doll, Roquat and Scarecrow stands next to Dorothy.
"Mifkit, are you sure?" Cyra asked concern.
"I just want a chance to know my great, great grandma, to show her my family are not like her." West said.
"I was scared of that bogey lady, but this time, I am not afraid of her." Scarecrow said before looking nervous. "Except her light of match."
"Those Witches won't tear us apart, nobody, nor how." Reigh said bravely before looking scared. "If I have my great, great granddad's courage."
"If that warty hag with stockings is gonna take over Munchkinland again, she's gonna think again." Ojo said.
"Magic to the people. And it will not fall into the bony hand of those wicked creatures." Patchwork Doll said.
"They don't scare me." Roquat said.
"If those Witches wants a fight, we'll give them one." Dorothy determined in bravery.
"She's just like her." Evelyn said, referring to Dorothy I.
"Your family is all like her, young Evelyn." the Wizard said.
In the cottage underneath the palace, Glinda searched for a history in the Record of Oz. When she finally found what she searched for, the visons of the ancient past when the first Dorothy came to Oz. the first vison was the time when the Wicked Witch of the East terrorized the Munchkins. Then when the house fell from the sky, it crushed her to death. Then the second vison was the time when the Wicked Witch of the West set Scarecrow on fire, and the first Dorothy threw a bucket of water at her, melted her.
"I cannot believe they're back after all these years." she said.
The Wizard entered the room. "I foreseen it, Glinda. I didn't want to worry you."
"That's why you destroyed the Treasury. To keep them from getting the slippers."
"And I failed. I'm sorry." the Wizard.
"You haven't failed. We can win this. We will defeat the Witches, and send them back where they belong." Glinda determined.
The Wizard is back. Next chapter will come.
