Are you ready to embark on this adventure? Let the journey into the unknown begin!
Shirou was a little dreamer of just five years old.
It was difficult to explain, but he felt an uncontrollable impulse to explore the vast world that was just beginning to unfold before his curious gaze. With the imposing sun setting, its warm rays caressing his face, it stirred sensations in him that were both unknown yet exciting. He loved to observe how, between the treetops of the garden, the light filtered through the leaves, creating a canvas of vibrant colors, painting the burgeoning love in his innocent heart for his new family.
For Shirou, each day became more exciting than the last.
Upon opening his eyes, the world around him transformed into a place full of wonders and discoveries. Without yet knowing all the corners of his home, he was immersed in secrets waiting to be discovered by his curious, silver-eyed gaze, eager for more.
Despite his tender age, Shirou could perceive what he described in his own words as "magic" in every little detail of everyday life: in the warm embraces of his father, in the affectionate gestures of his mother, in the laughter of his grandparents that resonated like music in the breeze, among the flowers dancing to the rhythm of the wind in the garden. However, his grandmother became his favorite source of enchantment, always ready to weave magical stories that transported him to distant worlds.
Over time, those feelings rooted deeply within him. As he grew, strange dreams began to visit him. In the midst of a hill of swords, he stood alone, feeling the vapor and the hot air around him. Looking up at the sky, he encountered monolithic dark gears halted, creating a mysterious scene. These dreams, far from frightening him, awakened in him an understanding that perhaps he was not entirely "normal." However, in his innocence, he believed it was just a passing phase, confident that he would forget them over time.
Unfortunately, Shirou Emiya's fate would be sealed in an unexpected way. In time, he would understand in the worst way the importance of not underestimating the signs that life presented to him. The innocence of his childhood would be overshadowed by revelations that would lead him to discover a destiny marked by magic and sacrifice, teaching him that even in the most unlikely dreams, deep truths could be hidden.
His body could feel the wind, and he was too comfortable to get up, but everything had an explanation. He had just woken up from a short nap. Moments like these were common, where he spent entire afternoons in the tranquil backyard of his grandparents' house.
It was fascinating for Shirou to listen with great delight when his grandmother told him stories about her youth as a priestess, reminiscing about episodes where she showcased her talent and fame, especially in her native country of China. Despite her current age, his grandmother occasionally demonstrated her most incredible abilities, one of which was seemingly impossible to believe—the power to "understand the messages and meanings behind the constellations." That's why he always cherished it when his grandmother shared magical stories about the vast universe that stretched above their heads.
This time was no exception. Both of them were sitting on a blanket under the soft glow of the full moon and the first stars. The grandmother spoke to Shirou with a soft and wise voice. "Can you see that bright strip in the sky, my little one? That's the Milky Way, our galaxy."
"It looks like a river full of stars," the excitement in young Shirou's tone was evident.
"That's right, and as incredible as it sounds, it connects everything in the universe." Raising her hands towards the sky, the woman took her time while inhaling, "Sometimes, when I look up, I feel like I'm watching the story of all of us, written in the gleam of those distant lights."
Shirou, with eyes sparkling with admiration, looked at her eagerly, wanting to understand more. The mysterious grandmother, Hikari, continued, "And here we are, on this small planet called Earth. It's our home, a special place full of wonders and mysteries yet to be discovered, my little one. You may not fully grasp it now, but someday you will explore every corner of this vast world, where you'll meet incredible and unique people in the future."
"Do you really believe that, Oba-chan?"
"Yes, my little one, we all have our own story, and you will someday be a part of it," she said, smiling as she played with her grandson's red hair, "You might even create your own legend."
With tenderness, the elderly woman pointed towards the starry sky. "Take, for example, how each of the stars above us has its own glow, its own purpose. And you, dear, are like a star in the midst of this vast cosmos. Just like them, you have the ability to shine with your own light and leave your mark on the world's history."
Shirou, with his imagination ignited, smiled at his grandmother's celestial metaphor. "Can I shine like a star someday?" he asked innocently.
"Of course, my love," she replied affectionately. "But..."
"But..." Shirou tried to ask, but he was puzzled when he saw his grandmother's distant gaze into the infinity of the sky.
"The brightest ones are the shooting stars, and the stardust they leave is their remnant in the vast outer space," her voice became more ethereal, like a whisper, as she took a deep breath, "With every choice you make, with every dream you chase, the weight of your final choice will contribute to your own glow, and destiny may change, or it might all end in an abrupt finale."
"Hikari Oba-chan?" Shirou asked, unsure of what to say about what had just happened, but his grandmother's expression relaxed as color returned to her face.
"It's nothing, dear," the elderly woman also felt a bit dizzy, but looking at the concern in her grandson's eyes, she didn't let her vulnerability be exposed, "As I was saying, just like the stars light up the night, you too can illuminate your own path and that of others."
The grandmother took Shirou's hands in hers, conveying her warmth and wisdom. "Dream big, Shirou. Let your dreams intertwine with the planets, and you'll see how your light will shine beyond what you can imagine."
Shirou could feel it, but he couldn't recall it with great depth. Perhaps that night, with the Milky Way as a silent witness, the special connection between a grandmother and her grandson caused those monolithic, rusty gears to start turning in the forgotten sands of time.
The echo of the old woman's voice resonated in the tranquil courtyard of the Emiya estate like a desperate call filled with concern and a touch of scolding. Shirou, her mischievous eight-year-old grandson, seemed to have escaped again, as if the boundaries of the property were too small to contain his inexhaustible energy.
"Shirou! Shirou! Shirou!" called the old woman, with a hint of desperation in each repetition.
The sun was slowly setting on the horizon, painting the sky with warm tones and letting the shadows stretch across the courtyard. Although the beauty of the sunset unfolded before her, the grandmother grew increasingly worried with each passing hour without a trace of her grandson.
"For the love of God, where have you gotten yourself into now?" she exclaimed with a strained voice, her irregular breathing revealing the effort she was putting into the search. "You shouldn't worry your grandmother like this!"
Her words were an attempt at reprimand but also a tangible display of the concern that overwhelmed her. "When I catch up to you, I'll punish you in the worst way I can think of!" she disclosed her plans as she resumed her pursuit, "I'll ban you from entering the kitchen and from cooking in any way for an entire week!"
The search intensified. Hikari explored every familiar corner of the courtyard where she usually found Shirou engrossed in his games and mischief. However, the boy seemed to have vanished in the twilight shadows. Each call echoed with an undertone of anxiety that faded into the corners of the garden.
"Have you heard me, young man?" The old woman took a moment to catch her breath; her eyes scanned the landscape without discovering any trace of Shirou. "It's getting dark, and this child has done it again."
With a sigh filled with weariness and concern, the old woman temporarily accepted defeat. Slowly, she entered the spacious halls and gardens of the Japanese estate. The full moon rose in the starry night sky, illuminating the way back with its silver glow.
"I just hope he returns before dinner," she murmured to herself, letting the night breeze carry away her thoughts. Despite carrying a deep concern reflected in the wrinkles of her face, the old woman held onto the hope that her grandson would return soon, especially if this time he didn't bring with him the wounds from his usual games as the "neighborhood hero." Uncertainty lingered in the air, but her grandmotherly love remained steadfast, anticipating the safe return of her mischievous grandson.
"This is the last time this disobedient boy plays these pranks on us, Amane," the old woman declared with a deep sigh that resonated in the quiet room.
Despite the years that had accumulated on their shoulders, Hikari still marveled at the antics of her grandson Shirou. It was the fifth time this week that he had decided to venture outside, immersing himself in his own "heroic adventures of justice." Though deep down, she wished he wouldn't get hurt, the big smile and enthusiasm with which he recounted his anecdotes made it impossible for her to be angry with him. After all, she was a grandmother with an immense heart for her family.
Even though Totsumi, her own son, couldn't spend much time with his own child due to his work abroad, she and her husband always made an effort to fill that gap. They admired their grandson's mature and sincere personality, but at times, they longed for her husband to set boundaries and raise Shirou to be a good man. This time, Hikari wouldn't give in, unleashing a silent struggle of gazes with her husband, who tried to keep up with the conversation from his place in front of the small table in the center of the room.
Amane, with her characteristic insight, found these interactions amusing. Although behind closed doors, they both doted on their troublesome Shirou, as the authority figure, he couldn't lose in this conversation. Cunningly, she tried to sip her steaming cup of tea without concealing her laughter at her wife's angry expression.
"You should let him be, Hikari," intervened the husband, taking a sip of his tea and suppressing a laugh at his wife's annoyed expression. "He might be nervous because tomorrow will be the first time he travels abroad with his father."
"What makes you say that?" asked the old woman, turning her gaze toward the outside patio of the estate, revealing the expanse of the surrounding land and the abundant vegetation of flowers and trees.
"It's hard to explain, but our little Shirou is growing up," said Amane, reaching into his pocket before revealing a small box with golden edges and an antique appearance on the table. "We're both his grandparents," he added with a melancholic expression in his gaze.
"I know," the old woman responded with heaviness in her voice. "But Shirou is still so small..." and tears welled up in her golden eyes like torrents.
"The time is coming," said the man, rising with tired but firm steps, approaching his wife who was slouched under the outer facade on the stairs. He enveloped her in a protective hug, wasting no time intensifying his display of affection. "The signs have been clear, and we both know we can't hold him back any longer," he added while trying to wipe away the tears from his beloved, his voice breaking.
"Isn't there any other way?" Hikari asked hopefully in her husband's silver-eyed gaze, but the expression of denial and helplessness was evident, the old man pressing his lips together.
"I truly wish everything could be different, but..." they both directed their gaze to the quiet, starry night, feeling the full moon brighter than they remembered, the night air stirring their hair. "Only time will tell if what we did was right." And at that moment, the estate seemed shrouded in a melancholic silence, as if the stars themselves were waiting to reveal Shirou's fate on the impending journey.
The gentle singing of birds sounded distant yet harmonious, allowing Shirou's awakening to be a tranquil transition from his dreams.
Slowly opening his eyes, he was captivated by what he saw. The first rays of twilight perfectly combined with Minako's golden hair, dancing as it was gently caressed by the wind, enveloped in golden and orange hues. Stunned, he looked into her beloved's pair of blue orbs, bringing a sense of peace he had longed for. Accompanied by her smile, it created the culmination of beauty and tenderness in a perfect balance.
If someone asked Shirou who the perfect woman was, he wouldn't hesitate to point to the Goddess before him, who had taken human form. The girl in front of him had completely transformed his view of the world just over a year ago. It was a surprise for someone like him to understand that, with each step in the company of Minako Aino, she became someone very important to him.
So, savoring opportunities like this to contemplate her only heightened his emotions because, in the end, Emiya Shirou was hopelessly in love with her.
"Did you have a sweet dream, my sleeping prince?" Mina's voice resonated like a soft melody, laden with that unique grace she possessed. Shirou nodded with a smile, captured by the image before him. She represented the light of his days, a new dawn, creating together a new chapter in both their lives, where Mina-chan was the undisputed protagonist.
"You can bet on it, my beautiful princess," Shirou responded, straightening up as he delicately moved away from Mina's embrace. "After all, I enjoyed the best seat in the world," he added with a swift move, stealing a fleeting kiss that left Mina surprised but smiling.
"S-H-I-R-O-U," Mina's blushing and flirtatious laughter echoed in the air, revealing her emotions in a charming way. "I hope you're ready for the consequences," she joked, pinching Shirou's cheeks in a playful gesture that left him speechless. A slightly longer kiss followed, sealing the moment with the characteristic sweetness of their love.
The exchange of affection between the two teenagers was like a symphony of emotions, a dance of complicity that resonated in the grounds of the Emiya estate. Under the cherry blossom trees' shade, Artemis, the ever-present feline companion, observed them with curious eyes. He smiled to himself, finding pleasure in witnessing one of those countless romantic moments between Shirou and Mina. With a subtle yawn, he moved away to attend to his own affairs, leaving the couple wrapped in their own world of love.
The whisper of the breeze mingled with the echo of the fading kiss, leaving behind a trail of breaths intertwined. Shirou and Mina's eyes met in a silence full of complicity. The bright silver confronted the deep blue, accompanied by friendly and tender smiles between them. The teenagers created a world of unique secrets, where no one else existed, where "true love," as Mina often called it, could be revealed without reservations.
As a natural gesture for the two lovers, their hands joined as if destined to fit perfectly.
"Are you going to deny that you took certain liberties while I was asleep?" Shirou's accusatory gaze pierced Mina's eyes, who, far from feeling guilty, tried to evade it with a playful laugh.
"Well... you know that I..." Mina hesitated, playing with the hem of her skirt while stealing glances from the corner of her eye.
"You know?" Shirou's triumphant smile shattered any resolve from his girlfriend, "I can still perfectly taste the remnants of the peach mochi I made especially for you during our snack."
"That's not fair," protested Mina, but her expression betrayed a mischievous complicity, "You looked so defenseless and cute while sleeping. I couldn't resist... you know I adore cute things."
Laughter echoed, filling the air with a unique melody. Shirou delighted in the pleasure of catching Mina in the midst of a game of complicity between them, strengthening the bonds of their blossoming relationship.
"You know this isn't the first time, Mina," said Shirou, placing his right hand on the girl's cheek. Getting closer without losing sight of his girlfriend's blue gaze, he smiled flirtatiously, narrowing the distance between them as he received her knowing look, "But this won't be the last time either."
Mina fell silent, understanding the unique language between the two lovers, her eyes speaking more than words. Before she could come up with a witty response, Shirou sealed her lips with another kiss, this time laden with tenderness and love. In that moment, he experienced the reciprocity of Mina and the certainty that this girl, with her presence and love, left an indelible mark on his heart.
The tranquility of the sunset seemed to envelop them like a warm blanket. In that instant, the weight of their shared existence became tangible, as if the entire universe conspired to bring them even closer. Although for a moment he was carried away by memories of his childhood dreams, they realized that true happiness resided in the present, in the fact of being accompanied by someone as special as his girlfriend Mina.
For with every shared laugh, with every caress and every kiss, they were creating the first pages of their story together, a story full of love, complicity, and promises of a shared future.
Inside the Crown Fruit Parlor, the atmosphere was saturated with a mix of laughter and sweet fragrances emanating from tempting shakes and desserts adorning the tables. The complete group of Sailor Scouts had chosen a slightly more secluded corner than usual, immersing themselves in the dim light of nearby arcade machines. This setting, contrasted by the first rays of twilight filtering in from outside, gave an intimate atmosphere to the scene.
The air vibrated with anticipation as they prepared to delve into the topic that had intrigued the entire group for over three days: the shocking revelation about the romantic relationship currently shared by their friend Minako Aino with the mysterious young man, Shirou Emiya-kun.
But before delving into the main topic, the girls needed something delicious to accompany such a special conversation. With menus in hand, they exchanged jokes and occasional laughter. Motoki Furuhata, the usual waiter, approached with a friendly smile, capturing the lively atmosphere. "What would you like to order today, girls? I recommend the fresh seasonal fruit shakes; they'll magically be delicious only for today."
"I want a strawberry shake with double cream!" Serena, always effusive, raised her hand, "And maybe a chocolate cake to share!"
"I'll settle for an iced tea," Ami, the brain of the group, opted for something lighter, "Plus a fruit salad, please," although she paused for a moment at the strange recommendation.
"A pineapple and mango shake for me!" Makoto, with her characteristic enthusiasm, chose a tropical shake that seemed to be the specialty of the day, "And if you have cheese empanadas, I want some too!"
Rei also felt a strange vibe in the vicinity but decided to dismiss it as a brief moment, noting Motoki's amused look, understanding that she had let her thoughts get the better of her. "Nothing better than coffee to sharpen the mind," so she stuck to the usual, adding a portion of fruit cake at the chef's recommendation.
Minako, who had been smiling while listening to the boy's words, couldn't help but jump for joy, surprising her friends on the spot.
"Oh... come on!" exclaimed Serena, confused.
"Have we missed something?" wondered Makoto, scratching her head in confusion.
The extroverted Minako, noticing her friends' reactions, decided to keep her actions to herself, smiling at them all. "Sorry, girls, it's just that..." glancing momentarily towards the kitchen, her smile grew in intensity, "I didn't expect someone to have agreed to fulfill my little selfish wish."
"I don't understand," added Ami as small beads of sweat ran down her forehead, "But I'm happy for you, Mina-chan."
"It's nothing," clarified the blonde as she took her seat again, "It's just that you'll be surprised, you'll see."
"Again with your secrets," sighed Rei, placing a hand on her forehead and adjusting a strand of her long dark hair.
After adjusting some changes in their friends' choices, Mina finally placed her order. "I'll go with a super special shake with vanilla love and a slice of enormous strawberry cake with beautiful caramel jewels. Thanks, Motoki!"
"I've taken all your orders," affirmed Furuhata as he looked at the girls, who were talking briefly among themselves. "For some reason, you won't have to wait too long. I can assure you'll enjoy our service like never before today."
With mysterious words, all the Sailors were left unsure of what to think. However, Mina's occasional jokes, combined with curiosity about the main topic of the day, made them reconsider the order of their priorities. The Crown Fruit Parlor was immersed in an atmosphere full of anticipation and shared secrets.
Everything unfolded without worries, just as Motoki had assured them; orders for drinks and desserts arrived quickly, and the presentation elicited various reactions from the girls surrounding the table. The previous lively and noisy atmosphere ended to give way to an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation for the food.
It was curious how everyone's thoughts were unanimous. The vibrant colors of the shakes and the exquisite dessert decorations prompted sighs of admiration and eager smiles. It was no surprise when everyone took less than a moment to express their gratitude in a brief prayer for the food, intending to quickly taste their dishes.
"Wow, this looks so delicious! The Chef really outdid himself this time! Everything looks amazing!" exclaimed Serena with sparkling eyes as she began to eagerly take up her utensils.
Ami took her time to focus on the details but also nodded in approval. "The presentation is impeccable. I'm looking forward to trying this iced tea."
Makoto couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "Those cheese empanadas look divine! Let's taste them right away!" which was obvious, especially due to her characteristic appetite.
"This is exquisite," added Rei after taking a few sips of her coffee. "It's completely fresh; I've never tasted anything like it before."
Each one immersed their senses in the culinary experience, tasting the delicious dishes with expressions of pure pleasure. The mix of flavors triggered a chorus of compliments and expressions of satisfaction.
In the midst of the excitement, Minako felt restless, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal the special touch of the evening, but that could wait. For now, she just wanted to taste her long-awaited drink, prepared with so much love by Shirou especially for her. Also, she noticed the small heart on her dessert that bore the unique signature of her boyfriend.
She could tell by stealing glances that each of her friends was enjoying their meals, and she felt satisfied and proud of it. Sailor Venus always thought of her friends, didn't she? That's why she decided the opportune moment when she noticed that each of her friends had finished their plate in record time to drop her own love bomb. With a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, she decided to start the long-awaited surprise.
"Girls, you know, this day is so special for me because... all these dishes were prepared by Shirou-kun. Yes, my amazing boyfriend has an amazing culinary talent, don't you think?"
The Sailors, surprised and delighted, looked at their dishes with new eyes. Needless to say, each looked at Serena's chocolate cake, Ami's fruit salad, Makoto's cheese empanadas, Rei's special coffee; each detail was carefully selected by Shirou according to the tastes that had been discussed in previous outings with his girlfriend.
"Minako, you didn't have to tell us!" exclaimed Serena, trying to maintain a look of complicity but failing miserably, "But...!" taking another bite of her dessert, she smiled happily, "I finally understand why everything has such a special touch!"
Minako smiled, savoring every bite of her special dessert with a unique satisfaction. "He knows my tastes better than anyone, you know? Besides, you are my best friends. That's more than enough reason to talk about you during our outings. Also, that's half the reason; the other half is that Shi-chan really loves to cook. So you can see that each dish is a gift full of love and care from him to you. Don't you feel like there's 'magic' in every bite?"
The Sailor Scouts, now aware of the personal touch in their food, nodded and shared complicit glances. Each one discovered the small details of affection between Minako and Shirou through the exquisite flavors that filled their palates.
The atmosphere changed from bustling to intimate, as laughter mixed with sighs of delight. Each girl enjoyed this moment amid a delicious meal prepared by someone as mysterious as Minako's boyfriend, filling everything with anticipation and curiosity about the young Emiya Shirou.
The mealtime had come to an end, but each of the sailors felt satisfied and, at the same time, a bit guilty for even considering ordering another dish. Their reasoning behind this decision was clear; despite the unbeatable taste, they didn't want to overindulge in gluttony. Still, they could always order another round of drinks; that wouldn't be considered cheating, right? Besides, in the end, they were all eager for something they had been waiting for so long.
So, despite the restaurant's hustle and bustle, it seemed to fade away when the four, Serena, Ami, Makoto, and Rei, gathered around Minako with inquisitive looks and surprised gestures. An atmosphere charged with expectations hung in the air as the girls were eager to uncover the secrets behind their friend's relationship.
Serena, in a casual tone, was the first to break the ice. "Mina-chan! Mina-chan!" curiosity burned in her gaze, "And what is Emiya-kun really like? We want to know more details!"
"Shirou is incredibly sweet and attentive, you know?" Minako's smile widened as she shared her thoughts. "He always has a unique way of seeing the world. It's funny how sometimes I think he's a very mature person in the most important situations, but someone tender enough in the least expected moments. But you can always count on him in the midst of problems!"
"But, Mina, is he strong? Do you feel that Emiya is someone capable of protecting you?" Makoto, being the strongest and most passionate among them, couldn't contain her own curiosity.
"Yes, Makoto-chan. Shirou is quite strong, but not just physically speaking," Minako nodded with a conspiratorial look, "He also has a strong and beautiful heart, as if it were a colored glass, always ready to face any challenge to protect what he loves."
"Minako, how do you feel this mysterious guy has changed your life?" Rei looked at her friend in a new light, so being sharp enough, she had decided to take a deeper approach. "What have you learned from him?"
All the Sailor Scouts listened attentively as the enamored one pondered deeply while sipping her shake.
"Well... to be honest, there are so many things I would like to tell you," her dreamy gaze and the happiness in her tone were immense, "It was thanks to Shirou and his company that he has taught me to see the beauty in small things, to take a moment to appreciate simple but magical moments together. It's hard to explain, but when I'm with him, every day feels like a unique adventure, completely full of surprises," her smile changed to be bright enough to be obvious to all her friends, "But above all, I began to understand what everyone calls 'love.'"
"Perhaps... Mina-chan, do you feel completely in love with Emiya-kun?" Ami's curiosity was not unjustified, as for her, romantic matters were something she longed to discover, but she didn't feel quite prepared for it at this moment. Still, she admired that her friend could feel that way.
"You know, love can be, at times, something complicated," Minako sighed, but her smile never wavered, "But can anyone really be capable of assuring if the person we are with is truly our destined one?"
Makoto, leaning against the table, stared at her intently. "Well, tell us, what do you feel when you're with Emiya-kun? Is there something that makes you think that maybe Emiya is the one?"
Minako sighed, lost in her thoughts. "When I'm with Shi-chan, I feel like everything fits, and, at certain moments, I'm scared at how things have progressed. So much so that sometimes it's as if time stood still, and there were only him and me. But when I'm alone in the middle of my room thinking about him, I wonder if I'm being selfish by deciding to seek my own happiness."
"Love is not selfish. I can assure you that it's about sharing, growing, and supporting each other," Rei looked affectionately at her friend as she expressed her thoughts, "If you feel that connection with Emiya-kun, you shouldn't hesitate to seek your happiness."
At some point in the confrontation, it became an opportunity to strengthen their bonds even more, reminding themselves that, despite the challenges, they would always be there for each other. While Minako remained for a moment reflecting on Rei's words, she felt somewhat unsure of how she should proceed and how to address a topic that she wasn't sure was ready to be tackled now.
The atmosphere had changed once again; the Sailor Scouts continued the conversation, sharing laughter and jokes in a mix of emotions, from curiosity to a hint of annoyance at the time Minako had kept her relationship with Shirou Emiya a secret.
"Mina-chan, why did you hide all this about Emiya-kun from us?" Serena crossed her arms and gave her friend an inquisitive look. "What else are you hiding?"
Minako, visibly uncomfortable, toyed with the edge of her napkin before looking at her friends. "Well, girls, the truth is that I thought... well, I don't know, I just wanted this relationship, the one I have with Shirou-kun, not to change. I wanted it to remain special for both of us."
"But, Mina, why so much mystery?" Ami tried to maintain a serious expression but noticed her friend's confused look.
"I just wanted to protect him from all of this, you know?" Minako sighed as she used the napkin to wipe away a small tear. "We are Sailor Scouts, and I didn't want to actively involve him in all of this. But after some small issues we've had with the intrusion of the Four Heavenly Kings in the past few weeks, after all our fights where he was almost hurt once, I realized he can't do this alone. You are my family, and you deserved to know, to have the opportunity to meet him. That's why I want you to lend your help." Again, a couple of tears escaped her blue orbs, but she had decided to lower her gaze while leaning forward as a sign of request. "Please, girls, I ask you with all the love in my heart!"
"Is Emiya-kun really someone special to you?" Rei spoke as she placed her arm over the blonde's shoulder, making her straighten up.
Minako looked at the expressions filled with love and encouragement from her friends, who urged her to respond. A playful smile spread across her tear-stained face, not knowing how to confront them, she entertained herself playing with a strand of her blonde hair before finally gathering the courage to look at them with the same determination that Shirou had taught her to muster in difficult times. "Yes, he is. Shi-chan is amazing, and every day I spend with him is like living a dream. His tenderness and strength inspire me, and his unwavering support gives me the confidence I never knew I needed."
The looks among the Sailor Scouts softened, understanding the depth of Minako's feelings.
Serena, despite her initial expression of annoyance, was moved, and her eyes filled with understanding. "Mina-chan, we will always be your support. If he makes you happy, then we'll support him too," the smile she gave to the blonde was extremely warm.
"Given that he might end up in the crossfire," Ami, with her logical approach, sighed with a smile, "If he's willing to stand by your side despite adversity, then he's also welcome in our circle."
The Sailor Scouts surrounded Minako with comforting hugs, sealing the promise to be together in every challenge, both in everyday battles and in the epic ones. Minako, with tears of gratitude in her eyes, thanked her friends for understanding and accepting Shirou into her life.
Once again, the atmosphere became more cheerful, but a significant range of emotions lingered close to the surface for each of the Sailor Scouts. They were surprised with each new revelation from Sailor Venus. The combination of nervousness and excitement filled the air, with each girl expressing her opinions on love and exploring her own thoughts about her friend's newly discovered relationship.
Minako, who was at the center of attention, tried to respond to her friends' constant curiosity.
"Mina-chan, how did you meet Emiya-kun? He looks so handsome! Come on, don't be like that, you have to tell us E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!" Serena remained carefree the entire time, consistently being the first to press on the topic.
Minako laughed mischievously, toying once again with a strand of her hair nervously. "Oh, Serena, I met him in the most unexpected way. I may have only told Rei a little, but..."
"But!" The anxious and curious voices of all were at their peak.
"Our first encounter was a magical moment, you know? As you all know, before joining the Sailor Scouts, I was on several very dangerous missions throughout Europe, and my last significant location was London. It was during one of those missions, after a confrontation with the Dark Agency, that I finally managed to defeat their second-in-command. Unfortunately, I had received quite a few injuries in the process."
The Sailors were surprised, not knowing how to process this new revelation.
"You can imagine the impact of falling into an art exhibition after finishing my fight. I was lost among the artworks and my wounds when suddenly, Shi-chan appeared like a knight in shining armor, offering me his help."
"No way," exclaimed Makoto, thrilled at the thought of the scene.
"How romantic," commented Rei, taking a sip of her coffee.
"But... it was the beginning of something I never imagined possible," continued Mina dreamily. "Shirou had been traveling with his father to some of the capitals of Europe as part of a business trip. However, due to a setback with his father for certain personal reasons, he decided to stay in London until the end of summer and then return to his grandfather's estate in Japan."
"You mean Emiya-kun not only saved the damsel in distress," Serena remarked.
"But you, Minako, aimed for a whole champion."
Surprise and admiration filled the expressions of the Sailor Scouts, but Minako decided not to give more explanations at the moment. It was something too personal that she hoped her boyfriend would share with her friends at the right time. So, she continued with her story, unaware that she was displaying a happiness and fulfillment never before seen by her friends.
"In the end, I stayed under Shirou-kun's care at one of his family's temporary residences. I must say, the seven days I spent with him are an invaluable memory for me. And you may not believe it, but..." Minako's enamored gaze hinted at something deeper, "We coincided on many things, and we could have a quite open and honest communication about my own circumstances as Sailor V."
"Wait!" interrupted Makoto, spitting out a bit of her drink. "Does Emiya-kun know about us, that we are all Sailor Scouts?"
Minako nodded as she sighed regretfully. "Yes, he knows," she revealed while playing with the straw of her drink.
"But, why?" The confusion on Ami's face proved to be a crucial point for all.
"That time, something happened that I never imagined could exist in the world," said Minako as she lowered her gaze, "It's just that... when I was saved, he treated me personally, showed honesty about who he was, showed me respect and empathy for my situation and my condition, giving me the support I needed at every moment, but above all, the trust and commitment to reveal my secret identity."
"Does Emiya-kun...?" Serena's voice made it clear what she wanted to say.
"I don't know," was Minako's honest answer, avoiding talking more about that topic. "But that iridescent light I saw was what made me trust him and understand that he had also been through a lot. He didn't ask me any questions about why I was injured or about my powers; he was just there for me, showing a level of intimacy and emotional connection that I had never felt with anyone until now."
The atmosphere changed, and the twilight lights eclipsed the outline of her friend, who smiled immensely while delicately holding the locket hanging from her neck. "It was as if I had known him all my life. I know you won't believe in past lives, but his way of being made me believe in the possibility of changing fate and finally knowing what everyone seeks, something called 'true love.'"
The girls stared with different degrees of mixed feelings, not knowing how to process this new amount of information and revelations from their friend Minako. But the blonde changed her expression to one of deep sadness and unrest before anyone could comfort her. She decided to reveal one of her deepest regrets.
"Unfortunately, in the end, when I was able to recover, I decided to leave him because I still had urgent missions to resolve. Because life takes so many twists; when you think you're on top, reality can hit with a great vengeance. At the end of my stay in London on that unfortunate occasion, I was finally betrayed by my former adventuring partner, Kaitō Ace."
"You mean the famous superhero Kaitō Ace," said Makoto, surprising everyone with her incredulous voice.
"But... hasn't anything been known about him for almost a year?" added Rei, showing surprise as she connected the dots.
"Are you saying that he..." Ami's trembling voice tried to argue something, but Minako stopped her.
"You are right. Kaitō Ace, Ace Saijou, confessed to me, but I always kept my top priority in mind. I, Sailor V, am Sailor Venus, so I will have nothing and no one more important in my life than my mission to protect our Princess." Her friend's expression was one of deep pain and helplessness. "He spoke to me ambiguously about my destiny being something inevitable and that he hated that he would always arrive too late to steal my heart, but he also understood that he could never win against the prince. In the end, feeling spurned, Ace attempted to murder me, so I was forced to eliminate him in self-defense."
Once again, the expression of all the Sailor Scouts was complicated, but that didn't stop them from expressing their support.
"Heavens, Mina-chan," Serena tried to appear strong but failed as tears fell down her cheeks. "We didn't know that..."
"You had gone through so much before joining us," Ami added, gently taking her friend's hand. "But now you're part of our team."
"Ami is right; we are a team now," affirmed Makoto as she hugged both of them tightly.
"You sure know how to set a scene," Rei commented before joining the embrace.
"Hey, that's not fair!" exclaimed Serena, rushing to take her place. "I'm supposed to be the leader here!"
"Girls," Minako's words felt heavy as she felt the warmth of her friends' support. She couldn't help but express deep gratitude, "Thank you for being here for me. I want you to know that Shirou is someone very special to me, and sharing this with you means a lot." Looking again at being surrounded by all, she felt embarrassed but moved, "You guys are amazing."
The sounds of laughter, tears, and words of support filled the restaurant as the Sailor Scouts embraced each other, sharing a moment that went beyond camaraderie; it was a bond strengthened by honesty and mutual understanding. Thanks to the guidance of Minako's guardian boyfriend, every detail had been carefully planned to ensure that this meeting was special and comforting.
The night continued with laughter and camaraderie, making it clear that, even with their own lives and loves, the Sailor Scouts would always find support and genuine understanding within their circle of friendship.
From the kitchen, Shirou Emiya observed attentively, his hands busy with utensils but his mind fully absorbed in the scene. He had invested time and effort in preparing the dishes that now adorned the table, and each bite his friends took while sampling his creations was something he greatly enjoyed.
At first, he felt a mix of nervousness and anticipation, hoping that everything would turn out perfect for his beloved. However, the final scene of Minako's tears uncontrollably stirred our hero's crystal heart. Due to his deep relationship with Mina, Shirou instantly understood that these were not just tears of sadness and release but also tears of relief. The pressure that Minako had carried with her for so long, hidden deep within her heart, had finally dissipated. Amidst the words of her friends and the unconditional support she received, it reminded him that she was not alone on this journey as a Sailor Scout. Their group also shared an immense burden of responsibility, but they could always count on each other, as they were people who genuinely cared for one another.
At that moment, without warning, the kitchen door had been opened, and shifting his attention, he noticed how his girlfriend's friend, the girl named Serena, approached him with a grateful smile. "I want to thank you on behalf of all of us, Emiya-kun. You've truly made this gathering very special for Mina-chan."
Shirou nodded humbly, appreciating Serena's words. "I just want Mina to feel supported and loved. She always talks with a smile about each of you, and it's only natural that you're an important part of her life. This was the least I could do."
Meanwhile, at the table, conversations continued, merging with laughter and fragments of shared anecdotes. Ami began to talk about the emotional aspects of the burden Minako carried. Rei, on her part, contributed her thoughts on resilience and how it would impact the rebirth of her spirit.
"Mina, the past can no longer control your present or your future," expressed Makoto with her protective nature. "We're here to support you every step of the way."
Minako, still with tears in her eyes, nodded gratefully. "You don't know how much it means to me to have you all here. Sometimes, we forget how strong we are when we have wonderful people by our side."
The words of Sailor Venus resonated in the hearts of all present.
"Mina-chan," Ami covered her hand as she looked at her friend's joyful expression.
"We'll always be here for you, Minako," Rei approached and gave her another comforting hug, "No matter what happens."
The night progressed, but the restaurant was still illuminated, now by the palpable warmth of friendship. Laughter mingled with the hum of meaningful conversations. However, Shirou, from the kitchen, never stopped observing the expressions of his girlfriend, feeling a deeper connection with her as he witnessed how her friends surrounded her with love and understanding over the past few hours.
It was no surprise to anyone when, finally, the time for a new dessert in the name of the house arrived. So, without overthinking, it wasn't too difficult for him when he decided to present a special cake for the occasion. Minako, seeing him arrive in front of the table surrounded by her friends who looked at her with eyes full of jokes and innocent hits, was pleasantly surprised by the personal visit from her boyfriend. "Shirou-kun, did you make this for me too?"
With a smile, he nodded. "Of course, Minako. I wanted this day to be memorable for all your friends in every aspect, especially for my golden girl."
The cake was cut amid laughter and joy, marking the conclusion of an evening full of intense emotions and meaningful reconnections. The bonds between Minako and her friends were strengthened even further, and Shirou found a new depth in their relationship. In the midst of this unique celebration, within the walls of the restaurant, the echo of shared laughter and the glow of friendship between the Sailor Scouts and Shirou Emiya had been born. No one knew what destiny held, but at least this night was a memory that would endure beyond the last stardust.
Minako Aino, at the end of the evening, felt enveloped in a mix of gratitude and solace thanks to the unwavering support of her friends. Now, in the midst of her room surrounded by plush toys and bright colors, she found herself lost in thoughts about how once again her friends had proven to be more than a team, more than companions; they were a family that backed her up in the most crucial moments.
If she closed her eyes, she could reminisce about the laughter and camaraderie in the restaurant, immersing herself in that atmosphere. In the depths of her being, she felt that a fragment of the shadow of the past persisted: the prophetic words of Kaitō Ace couldn't be fully heard, so she would never be able to know what he had said before disappearing into his arms.
Despite the strangeness of their relationship, at some point, she thought she might fall in love with him, but something always prevented the feeling from blossoming. She didn't know how to explain it, but it was a warmth that persisted in each of her missions. But that feeling exploded at that moment. Minako Aino couldn't forget that last prediction.
This would change according to two variables. In the known universe, Kaitō Ace would manage to win a part of her heart, so he decided to make this prediction for his beloved. Finding the result bittersweet, where Minako's love would remain hopeless for all eternity, a decision made as a final gesture of consideration towards her. But, with the intention of freeing her from the fear of having to choose between her duty as Sailor Venus and the possibility of a future romance.
However, in this alternate universe, things took an unexpected turn. Kaitō Ace, moments before disintegrating, was surprised to see his beloved Minako in the midst of a new prediction. What he saw was completely impossible; in the middle of his final act, everything was revealed to the dying Ace.
"That forgotten prince erased by the misfortune of the universe, that shield that would protect them at the end of life, his kingdom was lost in the whispers of the shadows of antiquity," his words drowned, but in his mind, amidst whispers, he tried to complete his words, "Once again, he had emerged to accompany her. The light will rise, and hope will shine, defying the destiny that had been previously written. With the opportunity for what was once lost in the sands of time, to find a new chance to be rebuilt."
The night progressed, and finally, fatigue from the day caught up with the Sailor, carrying with it the burden of the ambiguous meaning of the prediction. After much contemplation, she couldn't arrive at a specific conclusion about what Kaitō meant, but she felt deep in her heart that it was important. She remained determined to face what destiny had in store for her, only wishing not to make a mistake, submerged in the uncertainty of a future that perhaps still held surprises up its sleeve.
