Today is beatrice first day comes back to USA as the governor of Chicago. Chicago people love her already even before she came back. She is a good governor and smart. She was the vice prime minister of Canada and was premier of British Columbia before .
Beatrice also brings back with her the body guard who was protecting her in Canada : Jack . He is a handsome French and Canadian mixed boy who served for beatrice since she went to Canada for high school.
"Miss underwood ， where is your boyfriend ?" Jack asks beatrice
"You can still can be tris ." Beatrice smiles at him ."He is the security detail for my uncle Mr underwood so he isn't coming to pick me up."
Beatrice and Jack leave airport undercover by the body guard from USA . They get into car very quickly.
"Can I try to drive it? I used to drive tris ." Jack offers his help.
"Sure you can." William nods at Jack
William was beatrice's body guard when she just arrived in USA as a middle school student. That time her mom just married with Jim underwood ， the vice president of USA .
"Edward is waiting for you. He is very excited to see you back miss underwood ." William sighs .
"I know that." Beatrice yawns ."I am very sleepy. Tomorrow I will have to start working."
"I will drive you to office tris ." Jack smiles

"I allow him. He is my security detail in Canada when I was the vice prime minister ." Beatrice raise her eyebrows ."He is now under usa's jurisdiction
When they reach the house ， Edward is standing outside .
"Edward ." Beatrice rushes toward him
"Babe?" Edward can not believe beatrice is back."You are back. Why didn't you call me ."
"I want to give you a big surprise . Let me introduce. This is my new body guard that I bring from Canada Jack. He was my security detail when I was the vice prime minister ."I point at Jack.
Edward looks at Jack. He is so handsome that he is feeling so challenged .
"Hey my name is Edward meechum. I am currently protecting vice president Frank underwood ." Edward takes out his hand .
"My name is Jack." Jack smiles at Edward
He is beatrice's boyfriend? They have the same job but Beatrice loves him. Frank underwood is now standing on the balcony. Beatrice is his niece but also his biggest competitor .

"So what are you going to do ?" Douglas asks
"I will rid of her eventually." Frank underwood smirks
"However if Canada is still under control by liberal， she will never be able to rid of ." Douglas is worried ."She will be more and more powerful."

"I have my own way. Death is more preferable ." Frank underwood shrugs .
Edward brings beatrice into the house . Frank and Claire come down stairs to welcome her . Beatrice is no longer the childish girl that she was . She knows that uncle wants her to die .
"So welcome back tris . Oh you have bring a handsome boy back with you." Frank smiles at Jack.
"Yes this is my new body guard Jack from Canada . He is French and Canadian mixed." Beatrice pats on jack's shoulder ."I do need a new body guard . Can I ask for a flavour ?"
"You want Edward?" Claire frowns ."He is not only a body guard now."
Edward holds beatrice's hand . Frank knows what beatrice already knows
"Then I want Jack." Frank smirks at beatrice
"I am sorry sir . Maybe Edward can work with any underwood but my loyalty only lies with first name . I am not going to work with anyone beside tris ." Jack says confidently.
"You are very loyal Jack. I am vice president. She is only a governor ." Frank raises his eyebrows .
Jack of course knows what he is thinking. He must know who his father is already.
"I don't care sir . I am sorry." Jack shakes his head
"I get what I want uncle . Edward will be dangerous if he is with you."beatrice gets closer with him."You know that I have what Mr walker wants."
"You will lose it." Frank underwood says
Beatrice laughs so loud . She turns around and looks at Edward
"Do you want to work for me or not." Beatrice asks him
"Yes ." Edward nods at beatrice
Edward of course knows that with Frank underwood that he will be in dangerous . Also he doesn't want Jack to stick around beatrice every single second .
"So I will inform captain Rockland that you will be able to work with me . Now you are off the shift. Let's go home ." Beatrice nods at Edward
Christina ， now who is still secretary of president walker . She knows that her boss is under a big crisis . She needs beatrice's help. She is sitting in front of her house .
"Christina ?" Beatrice now gets off the van .
"Beatrice ， I need your help." Christina is crying."Mr walker is in dangerous."
Beatrice knows that uncle caused the plane accident which killed her parent and now he wants to rid of mr walker and becomes president himself .
"Let's talk inside . Here is no longer safe." Beatrice sighs ."Only Edward and Jack can come in."
"Yes madam."
Edward opens the door . Beatrice and Christina walk into living room. Beatrice knows that Edward can not be trust right now .
"Edward please makes us four coffees please ， Jack you can sit down and have a cup of coffee too. I know that you don't have a place to live now . Before captain Rockland can give you one ， you stay here ." Beatrice smiles at him
"However Edward will mind ." Jack looks at Edward
"He will be fine ." Beatrice looks at Edward ."Right?"
Edward is unhappy that beatrice is so caring for Jack but he doesn't want to fight now .
"Yes that's fine ." Edward walks away
He knows that now beatrice doesn't trust him anymore . He is making coffee in the kitchen. Jack comes in .
"Edward meechum right?" Jack stands beside him.
"Yes I am . What do you want Jack." Edward stops what he is doing."What do you want from my girlfriend ."
"She is your girlfriend only. You guys haven't married ." Jack leans closer to him."I want to be her husband."
Edward clinches his fist. However he already made mistake before so he can't explode now .
"Is the coffee ready?" Beatrice is shouting."I am hungry."
Edward brings the coffee in the living room. Christina wipes her tears off
"Long time no see Edward . Who is this?" Christina smiles at Jack.
"I am tris's body guard ." Jack shrugs ."Thanks ."
"He is good ."beatrice laughs ."So I will call Freddie to deliver some ribs so we can have for dinner . I miss his rib."
Christina looks sadly at beatrice . Is uncle crazy.
"Freddie is dead . Uncle did that." Christina shakes her head ."He wasn't supporting his idea. He even created the explosion which hurt Douglas but Douglas didn't know this ."
Douglas is uncle's best assistant and he wants to hurt him?
"How much people is he going to kill. Oh next one is me ."beatrice lifts her chin. "He will die before this."
"What do you mean?" Jack sits down beside her
"Enemy's enemy will be friends. My auntie wants to run president as well so I will help her." I laugh ." Without my support, she doesn't have much influence ."
To help a new person is much easier because she is much easier to control. I can put her in that position, then I can take her power back.
"Tell my assistant in Canada , I need his help."I look at Jack. "Just inform him."
Christina looks at beatrice . She and Edward both know that beatrice is not that little girl who they knew when she came from China .
"You changed a lot." Christina looks worried . "Are you okay."
"I was just good at pretending Christina ." Beatrice sighs . "If Peter is smart enough, he will not be dead."
"You mean someone killed him?" Edward frowns
I know that Edward knows about peter's death.
"Edward , don't act stupid . You are not going to fool me . I know that you know that my uncle did that." I put my hand on his shoulder . "If I am going to pull him off his position, you will be affected . So that's the reason that I put you beside me . I am helping you."
"Thank you tris ." Edward sighs . "Just be careful."
"Of course I will. I still have what American want and they will not touch me if they want that." Beatrice walks upstair .
She sits in her office . She is tired . She doesn't want to do this but she wants to protect herself
"I know tris that you are still the tris that I knew ." Edward brings her coffee in.
"Get out Edward . I don't have mood for this ." Beatrice tilts her head
"Then why are you crying." Edward holds her into his arms . "I still love you. Tris looks at me . I know that you are angry when your uncle killed your dad and mom."
Beatrice can't resist but crying in his arms . Edward kisses her . She wraps her arms around him.
"I am sorry Edward ." Beatrice cries
"It's okay." Edward kisses her neck. "We will get marry soon."
"Yes ." Beatrice sighs with relief . "I have no choice Edward . If I don't become politician, my dad will not allow me to be with you."
