(A/N: Alright, here we go. As you can probably tell from the chapter title, Dipper and Mabel will be entering the picture. Wahoo. That means our tier of characters will finally all be together. But first, we've got some interesting introductions to make. especially regarding Eda since she's technically going to be the twins' great aunt. That's going to make for a fun conversation. And how are they going to react to finding out that Bill is, sort of, back? That'll certainly ruin their day. So without further ado, let's get to it. Also, new story announcement at the end of the chapter, so check that out if your interested.)

Chapter 6: The Pines Twins

Eda looked unimpressed as she and the others stared at the small house of oddities. "Well, it seems interesting enough, but not the best location for attracting customers. Seriously, how is anyone supposed to find this place with how isolated and hidden it is?"

Willow cheerfully held up the brochure she had gotten at Greasy's Diner that had led them here. "That's what these advertisements are for."

Sasha motioned towards the Mystery Shack. "Well, come on, let's go in already. Bill could get here any moment."

Luz glanced at Eda with an uneasy smile. "You ready to meet Stan again?"

The Owl Lady let out an exhausted sound that was a cross between a sigh and a groan as her shoulders slumped. "Not really. This is going to be so awkward."

"Then maybe next time don't marry some random guy, rob him, and ditch him within forty-eight hours of meeting him," King told her in a judgmental tone.

Eda just grumbled irritably as they made their way over to the Mystery Shack. Upon entering, they found themselves in what had to be the gift shop portion of the establishment. For some reason, Anne was reminded of the wax museum she had visited back in Amphibia where the curator there had tried to encase her in wax and display her as an exhibit.

"I'm getting some serious déjà vu vibes here," she commented.

Sasha glanced at her curiously. "How come?"

"I'll tell you later."

Sitting behind the counter was a brown-haired man wearing a lumberjack hat who looked to be either in his late twenties or possibly early thirties. He was typing away on his laptop, but looked up at them as they approached, giving them a friendly smile.

"Hello, welcome to the Mystery Shack," he greeted pleasantly. "Are you folks here for a tour?"

"Sorry, but no," Eda replied dismissively.

"But maybe later," said Gus as he looked around in wonder at some of the displays.

The Owl Lady ignored him. "We were told to come here by some blonde girl and ask for Dipper Pines."

The man blinked in surprise. "Oh, well, that's me. I'm Dipper."

"And I'm Mabel!"

The others cried out as a woman with long brown hair suddenly popped up beside the man from behind the counter. A single look was enough to determine that the two of them were siblings, possibly even twins, as they were almost identical in appearance.

The girl, Mabel, giggled at having startled them, her smile revealing perfectly straight, braces-less teeth. "Sorry, but sometimes things in the Mystery Shack can really catch you off guard." She wiggled her fingers in the air. "Wooooo."

The boy, Dipper, just rolled his eyes. "Mabel, seriously…" He gave the others an apologetic look. "Sorry about my sister. She never really grew up."

"Growing up is boring!" Mabel declared loudly, slamming both fists on the counter.

Letting out a sigh, Dipper shook his head. "Anyway, you said you were looking for me?"

Sasha raised an eyebrow. "You two run this place?"

Once more, Dipper shook his head. "Nah, we just help out here from time to time. Soos and Melody actually run the place. If you're looking for them though, they kind of forgot to get a present for Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland's upcoming wedding, so they took their son and went out of town to shop for one."

"It's about time those two tied the knot," Mabel added. "They've practically been married for years anyway."

Eda looked bored. "Yeah, we don't know who any of those people are. Who ran this place before them?"

Dipper's eyebrows rose. "Oh, well, if were looking for Wendy, she moved away when she left for college several years ago. And if you're looking for Stan, he's traveling the world with his brother."

Eda blinked. "Stan had a brother?"

Hunter raised an eyebrow at her. "You didn't know?"

The Owl Lady just rolled her. "It was a long time ago. If he mentioned it, I don't remember."

Mabel's face lit up. "Oh, you know our Grunkle?"

Anne gave her a confused look. "Grunkle? What's a Grunkle?"

Mable gave a wave of her hand and made a pfft noise. "It means 'great uncle'. Doi."

"That's… creative, I guess," Hunter commented.

"It's not a word," Sasha muttered

Mabel's gaze shifted to the former and her eyes widened as she noticed him for the first time. She let out a gasp before suddenly lunging halfway across the counter, getting right up in his face. "Hi, I'm Mabel!"

"Oh no…" Dipper muttered, slapping his forehead. "Again, Mabel? Really?"

"Shh," she shushed him. "I'm doing love things." She then leaned in even closer. "So, what's your name?"

Clearly uncomfortable with both the situation and the invasion of his personal space, Hunter leaned away from her. "Um, I'm Hunter."

Mabel let out a laugh. "Haha, that's a great name. And I must say, I find scars to be really sexy. So, are you seeing anyone?"

Looking even more uncomfortable, he gave her a nervous smile. "Actually…"

At that moment, Willow possessively wrapped an arm around him, pulling him in close and fixing Mabel with a glare. "Sorry, he's taken."

Mabel's face fell in disappointment and she snapped her fingers. "Aw, nuts!" But then her gaze landed on Gus, and her face lit up again with renewed interest. "Hey, you're pretty cute, in a nerdy kind of way."

"Um…" Gus mumbled, not sure what to say.

Before the situation could escalate further, Dipper placed a hand on his sister's shoulder, pulling her back to the other side of the counter. "Seriously, Mabel, you're going to be thirty years old soon, you gotta stop doing this already."

"What do you mean?" she asked, sounding genuinely confused.

"I mean every time you see a guy you're attracted to, you come on to them so strongly and so forwardly that you always chase them away. And for the ones you don't, your relationships never work out because you're far too clingy and over-the-top. If you want to get and keep a boyfriend, you've gotta get control of your boy obsession."

Clearly taking offense to this, Mabel placed her hands on her hips and glared at him. "You're calling me obsessed? That's real rich after the way you obsessed over Wendy and those dumb journals our first summer here. Not to mention how you now spend most of your free time either doing your research or hanging out with Pacifica."

"Mabel, I'm a scientist, so obviously I'm going to be doing research, and Pacifica is my girlfriend, so of course I'm going to be spending time with her! That's not obsession!"

Mabel rolled her eyes. "Yeah, well, don't be surprised if she turns down your proposal at Blubs and Durland's wedding if you actually go through with your plan of growing a beard."

"A sole patch! Not a beard, just a sole patch! I just want to try it out and see how it looks; I think I can pull it off."

"Um, newsflash, but most girls don't like getting a mouthful of hair when they kiss their man."

"What mouthful? I said don't want a full beard. I'm just talking about a little strip of hair here on my chin."

"Face it, Dipper, some guys can pull off facial hair, but you're not one of them."

"Oh yeah, well you–"

Eda interrupted them by loudly clearing her throat, drawing the siblings' attention. "Look, as someone with a sister myself, I understand the importance of sibling bickering, but we're on a bit of a time limit. So, if you could put this little discussion on hold and help us out, it'd be appreciated."

Looking somewhat embarrassed at how the two of them had been called out for their behavior, Dipper gave them an apologetic look. "Right, sorry about that. But as I was saying, Stan doesn't live or work here anymore."

Mabel gave the Owl Lady a questioning look. "Wait, you were looking for Stanley, right? Or was it Stanford?"

All attention shifted to Eda, as none of them seemed to know which Stan she was referring to. However, Eda didn't seem to know which one they were looking for either, but did her best to try to save face. "Uh… which one is which?"

"You don't know!?" Luz exclaimed in disbelief.

"We only knew each other for two days!" the Owl Lady argued, throwing her hands in the air. "And I only ever knew him as 'Stan Pines'! I said I didn't even know he had a brother! Uch." She pinched the bridge of her nose, and looked back at the twins. "He was the one who was a con artist."

"Oh, that's Stanley then," Dipper immediately replied.

Mabel nodded. "Yup, that's Stanley."

"Definitely Stanley," Dipper added for emphasis.

Mabel held up her hands up and wiggled her fingers. "He only had five fingers on each hand, right, not six?"

Eda scratched her chin, looking thoughtful. "No, he only had five fingers." She then smiled, as if recalling something pleasant. "I definitely remember his fingers."

Luz narrowed her eyes at Eda. "I'm going to pretend there's no suggestive implications behind what you just said and just assume you meant that he was a good pickpocket."

Dipper suddenly shook his head, as if realizing something. "Wait a minute, why are you asking about Stan? Who are you anyway? How do you know him?" His eyes drifted down to her missing limb and he pointed at it. "And is that a hook for a hand?"

Eda held up the hook in question. "Chill out with the interrogation, kid. We're not with your government, if that's what you're wondering. That Pacifica girl who sent us here told us to tell you that."

Dipper slammed his fist down on the table. "I'm not a kid! I'm twenty-nine years old!"

"It's a sensitive subject," a smiling Mabel explained without missing a beat. "He went through this whole thing as a preteen where he pretended to be older than he was." She then turned to him and poked his cheek. "Plus, he has a total baby face. Poke, poke."

"Stop it!" Dipper told her, slapping her hand away. He then looked back at Eda. "So, who are you again, and how do you know our uncle?"

"Right, introductions," Eda grumbled, looking bored, and turned to her companions. "This is Luz, Amity, Willow, Goops–"

"Gus."

"Hunter, Anne, Sally–"

"Sasha."

"And King, uh, my dog," she finished. King growled in annoyance at that, but didn't blow his cover. Eda then made a dramatic show of presenting herself. "And I am Eda Clawthorne. I met your… Grunkle several years ago in Vegas. He… uh… only knew me as Marylin though."

Dipper raised an eyebrow. "Marylin? Marylin, Marylin. Why do I feel like that name is important somehow?"

Mabel suddenly gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "Dipper, it's her! Stan's ex! The one who got away! Literally!"

Dipper's eyes widened in remembrance. "That's right! Stan told us about that!" He looked Eda up and down. "Pale bingo-hall skin, weirdly sharp tooth. You're her, Stan's ex-wife!"

Eda proudly held up her chin and flipped back her hair. "Yup, that's me."

There was a loud noise as Mabel slammed her palms down on the counter before angrily pointing at her. "You've got a lot of nerve showing your face here after breaking our Grunkle's heart the way you did!"

The Owl Lady cut her eyes at her. "Chill out, sister, we were only together for two days."

"Two magical days!" Mabel practically shouted, slamming her fists down on the counter. "It was love at first sight for him, and he never got over you completely!"

Eda blinked in surprise. "Really?" She smiled smugly. "Dang, Mama's got game."

Something suddenly occurred to Luz. "Wait, Eda, you said that you robbed him and took off, but did you ever actually divorce him?"

Eda blinked again, the smile falling from her face, and then her eyes widened in realization. "Oh, shoot, I knew I forgot something that day."

"Eda!"

Her anger fading, Mabel glanced at her brother, now looking confused. "So, wait does that mean she's still technically our great aunt? Our Grant?"

The Owl Lady placed her hand and hook on her hips, giving Mabel a narrowed-eyed look. "Yeah, don't ever call me that again; it makes me sound like a handout or loan or something."

Luz grabbed Eda's arm and shook her. "Eda, this is serious! Does this mean that you're actually still married to Mr. Pines?"

The Owl Lady just nonchalantly waved this off. "Ah, I'm sure it's fine. I didn't use my real name when we got married, so it probably didn't even count."

"And Grunkle Stan did remarry later," Dipper pointed out. "…And divorce."

Eda gestured to him. "See, there you go."

"This is still a big deal though," Luz exclaimed. "What's Raine going to think?"

Eda turned to her, giving her an authoritative look. "Raine isn't going to find out, because there is no reason to bring up something that happened so long ago that doesn't even matter."

Dipper raised an eyebrow. "Who's Raine, your husband? Boyfriend?"

Eda narrowed her eyes, fixing him with a glare. "Yes, they are my spouse. I just decided to keep my last name; Eda Clawthorne rolls off the tongue better than Eda Whispers."

"They?" Dipper repeated questioningly. "What do you mean, 'they'? Do you have more than one spouse? Are you polyamorous, or– Oof!" He let out a pained grunt as his sister elbowed him in the side. "Ow, Mabel, what was that for…?" Then it suddenly clicked in his head. "Oh… Oooooh…" He guiltily averted his eyes and awkwardly rubbed the back of his head, looking embarrassed. "Sorry…"

Eda sighed. "I'll overlook your ignorance if you help us with ours by answering our questions, because no one else in this town seems to be willing to."

Dipper looked back at her. "Look, if you want to know how to find Stan, then we can't help you. He and his brother left Gravity Falls about seventeen years ago, and we haven't seen him since. I moved here three years ago after I got my PhD to pick up Great Uncle Ford's studies, without shutting myself away in a bunker of course."

"Not me," Mabel declared proudly. "I just came up for Blubs and Durland's wedding. Total city girl right here."

"All we know is that the two of them are sailing around the world looking for treasure and a bunch of weird phenomena."

"We still get postcards from them though," Mabel chimed in, holding one up.

"As uninteresting as all that is," Eda remarked in a bored tone, "that's not what we're here for."

"Uch, enough of all this drama and pointless conversation!" Sasha practically exploded, slamming her fists down on the counter. "Let's just cut to the chase." She pointed at the Pines twins. "Tell us what you know about Bill Cipher! And don't you dare say 'never mind all that'!"

Both Dipper and Mabel's eyes widened. "Bill Cipher!?" they cried together.

Sasha immediately pounced at their reaction. "Ah-ha, so you do know about him!" She slammed her fists down on the counter again. "Start talking!"

"Will everyone sop slamming on the counter!" Dipper scolded.

Anne placed her hands on Sasha's shoulder and back to calm her. "Sasha, take it easy." She gently pushed her aside and turned to the twins. "Look, something happened to one of our friends involving Bill, and now she's in trouble. If something isn't done, then the whole world could be in danger. So please, can you help us?"

The Pines twins stared at her, contemplating for a short while before leaning in and began whispering to each other.

"What do you think?" Dipper asked.

"I'm not sure," his sister replied. "They seem sincere. And they don't appear to be with the government. But what about the Mayor Cutebiker's Never Mind All That Act?"

"Eh, I think that was more of a suggestion." They turned back to the others and Dipper crossed his arms, giving them an inquiring look. "What exactly do you want to know about Bill?"

"Anything you can tell us about him," Anne replied urgently. "Particularly how he was defeated. Please, we're begging you."

Dipper and Mabel once again exchanged a look before the former let out a resigned sigh. "To be honest, there's still a great deal we don't know about Bill, but he's been a blight on our family for a long time."

Amity leaned in to Luz. "You know, I never know if I should take offense or not when someone uses the word 'blight'."

"Aww, Amity," Luz said, leaning her head against her girlfriend's shoulder. "Don't worry, you're only a blight on my life." She frowned as she realized what she said. "That came out wrong. You know you're my sweet potato."

The lavender-haired girl smiled. "When the time comes, I'm definitely taking your last name," she said quietly, seemingly to herself.

"What?" Luz asked, not hearing her.

Amity's face turned beet red and she averted her eyes. "Nothing!"

Dipper loudly cleared his throat irritably. "Do you want to hear about Bill or not, because we would prefer not to talk about him."

"Yes, yes," Anne said quickly. "Please, go on."

Dipper sighed. "We encountered Bill back when we were thirteen."

"Twelve," Mabel corrected.

"Almost thirteen," Dipper amended without missing a beat. "He attempted to use us to get into our dimension, and he eventually managed to do so by coming through a dimensional rift. Then he basically broke reality."

"It was like he did a hostile takeover of the show that was our lives," Mabel added. "He called it Weirdmageddon."

Eda blew a raspberry. "That's a dumb name."

Dipper ignored this as he continued. "Fortunately, Gravity Falls seems to be some sort of magnet for weird and supernatural things, so it kept Bill confined here. Our Great Uncle Ford knew how knew how Bill would be able to escape, so Bill attempted to get into his head, but Stan tricked Bill into entering his head instead. Then Ford used a memory erasing gun to erase Stan's mind, and Bill along with it."

"Don't worry though," Mabel quickly told them. "We were able to restore his memories, so he's fine."

"Well, he remembered everything, but I don't think Stan had ever really been 'fine'. But since Bill wasn't part of Stan's memories, he didn't come back when Stan remembered everything."

King chose that moment to climb up onto the counter. "So where's this memory gun now?"

Both Dipper and Mabel cried out and jumped back, grabbing hold of each other in surprise. "Talking dog!" the former cried.

"King!" Luz scolded. "You're not supposed to be talking."

The young Titan just shrugged. "What? I forgot."

Eda's fist bopped him on the head. "You didn't forget, you just didn't want to play the part of a dog anymore."

Dropping all pretenses, King held his claws out to the Pines twins. "So what? They obviously know about Bill and have what we're looking for. Let's just tell them the truth."

Dipper released his sister. "What truth? Just what the heck is going on? And how is your dog talking?"

Eda rolled her eyes and let out an annoyed groan. "Alright, Goops, you can drop the illusions."

"Gus! My name is Gus!" the boy in question exclaimed. "Come on, Eda, it's been nine years!"

He did as requested though, letting his illusion drop. The human ears on the witches and the dog's head on King disappeared to reveal their true appearances, and both Dipper and Mabel gasped.

"You're… You're…" Dipper attempted to say.

"Adorable!" Mabel squealed, and instantly snatched up King, nuzzling her face into his fur. "He's so cute! I want him, I want him!"

King immediately began trying to get out of her hold. "No, why does this keep happening to me!?"

Eda gave him an unsympathetic look. "Serves you right for blowing our cover."

Dipper was looking back and forth between the witches and King, not sure what to focus on, but eventually settled on the Titan. "What is he exactly?"

"Only the cutest thing in the entire world!" his sister exclaimed. "After Waddles of course." She suddenly gasped. "I should have brought him along! I could have taken pictures of the two of them in matching sweaters." She smiled at the others. "I run a sweater making company. It's called Grandma Mabel's Sweaters."

Sasha raised an eyebrow at this. "But you're not a grandmother… Are you?"

"I will be one day," Mabel replied enthusiastically.

There was a gasp from Luz, and her eyes were wide and shining. "Did she say matching sweaters? I want to see that so much."

"Luz, focus!" Amity whispered to her.

Tearing his eyes away from King, Dipper turned back to the others. "What is going on here? Are you people some kind of elves?"

Hunter shook his head. "No, not elves."

"We're witches," Willow said with a smile. Then with a playful look, she lowered her voice and wiggled her fingers. "From another dimension."

King finally managed to get free of Mabel's hold and quickly rushed back over to the others before motioning to himself. "And I'm a Titan, which pretty much makes me a god."

Mabel cupped her cheeks. "Aww, a baby god."

"I'm not a baby!" King wailed, stomping his foot. "Why do people still call me one?"

"Because you still whine like one," Hunter muttered in a bored tone. This caused the little Titan to let out a squeal and rush at him, claws swinging, but Hunter simply held out his hand, pushing it against King's skull to hold him back.

Ignoring the two of them, Anne sighed. "Ok, cards on the table." She glanced at Dipper. "You said you're a scientist, right?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Yeah. Like I said, I came here to pick up where my Great Uncle Ford left off, and to rediscover his previous discoveries since his journals were destroyed. Why?"

Anne took a deep breath. "If you're a scientist, then maybe you've heard of me. My full name's Anne Boonchuy. Ring any bells?"

Dipper's brow furrowed in thought. "Boonchuy, you say?" He tapped his chin. "Yeah, that name does sound familiar." He turned to his laptop and began going through his files. "Where have I heard it before…?" A gasp suddenly escaped him and his eyes widened. "Of course! You're the Frog Girl!"

He turned his laptop around for them to see. On the screen was a file for a news report titled GIRL LOST IN FROG LAND? HOAX? Anne had to resist the urge to roll her eyes at the sight of it.

"Yeah, that's me," she grumbled. "I'm the Frog Girl. Please don't call me that though. And it wasn't a hoax."

Dipper's face lit up. "Haha! I knew it! I knew it wasn't a hoax! Take that, physics professor whose name I can't remember!"

Anne raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

Dipper came back to himself. "Oh, I did a paper for a physics class I took in college where I wrote about alternate dimensions. I used your case as an example and tried to back up my thesis, but my professor declared your story to be a hoax and rejected my paper. Well, showed him!"

Anne blinked. "I was the subject of a college paper you did?" She smiled and placed her hands on her hips. "That's kind of cool."

Dipper shrugged. "I've always known that there were other dimensions. Heck, my Uncle Ford was lost in one for decades."

Anne pointed at him. "Dude, I should put you in touch with my friend, Terri. She's been researching different dimensions for years. Oh, Dr. Jan too, she's really into sci-fi and supernatural weird stuff."

"That would be awesome! I have so many questions. Was one of them the one who got you lost in that frog land? Some dimensional experiment gone wrong? That's sort of what happen to my uncle."

Anne shook her head and waved off his question. "Nah, that was a magic music box. Although they did help me get back there later. By the way, the world I was in was called Amphibia."

Eda loudly cleared her throat. "Sorry to interrupt your reminiscing and your nerding out, but we have more important things to worry about."

Dipper slapped his forehead. "Of course! You said that you're witches from another dimension. That's way more interesting than someone getting lost in a dimension."

"Hey!" Anne complained, looking insulted.

But Dipper either didn't register her complaint or ignored her. "Tell me everything there is to know about your world. How did you come to this one? Why did you come to this one? If you're witches, can you actually do magic? Can you show me some? How are you–"

Mabel cut him off by suddenly slapping a hand over mouth, offering the others an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. When he gets into nerd mode, he goes all wah-wah. I honestly don't know how Pacifica puts up with it. I certainty can't, but she finds it cute."

Grabbing her wrist, Dipper pulled her hand away from his mouth. "Mabel, this is important. How often do we get to meet witches from another dimension? Or people who get lost in dimensions?"

"Um, hello? Grunkle Ford. He was lost in another dimension."

"Not a frog dimension."

Luz proudly raised her chin. "As someone who loves to learn about amazing, magical things herself, I can relate to your eagerness to want to know all about this stuff. We'll be more than happy to tell you everything you want to know, but first we're going to need your help."

That seemed to cool the flames of Dipper's eagerness. "Of course. Um, what do you need?"

"Does it require a grappling hook!?" Mabel asked loudly, pulling out the device in question.

Anne gave the grappling hook a peculiar look. "Um, no, no grappling hooks will be needed."

Mabel's eyes narrowed. "We'll see…"

"The reason we need help," Amity chimed in, "and the reason we came here, is to find out how to defeat Bill Cipher."

"Defeat him?" Dipper repeated with a raised eyebrow. He glanced at his sister, who shrugged. "But Bill's gone already. We told you, we erased him."

"Poof!" Mabel declared, throwing her hands in the air and shaking them.

Looking uneasy, Anne averted her eyes and tapped her index fingers together. "Yeah… about that… he may not be as gone as you guys think."

The Pines twins looked visibly shaken by this. "Meaning what exactly?" Dipper asked uneasily.

Anne took a deep breath. "Ok, same story for the second time today."

"Third," Sasha reminded her, having told it once.

Anne nodded. "Right, third. Ok, so, we have this friend named Marcy, see, and we…"

Once again, the story was recounted of how they had gotten lost in Amphibia and involved in the Newtopian invasion of Earth, and how Marcy had been hooked up to the Core, and how that had led to a copy of Bill that had been uploaded into it getting into her head, and then taking her over. The story ended up being even longer this time, as she also recounted meeting up with Luz and her friends and how Eda thought that Stan might know how to stop Bill.

"And so we used some fancy teleportation spell to get here and, well, here we are, talking to you," Anne concluded. She took a deep breath. "Man, that story takes a while to tell."

She looked at Dipper and Mabel hopefully. The Pines twins were staring at her. They hadn't spoken a word throughout the entire story, and now appeared to be utterly speechless.

"You guys ok?" Eda asked with a raised eyebrow. She waved her hand in from of their faces, then snapped her fingers in front of them. "Oh, great, you broke the twins. Nice work, Anne."

"Bill's coming back," Dipper finally said quietly. "He's actually coming back."

"It'll be Weirdmageddon all over again," Mabel added.

"One, that's still a dumb name," Eda replied. "Two, technically, this is a copy of Bill, but same difference."

Dipper took off his hat and ran a hand through his hair, briefly exposing the birthmark on his forehead. "I'm just trying to figure out how he's able to use his powers while inside your friend."

Mable glanced at him. "Yeah, when he possessed you, he couldn't use any of his powers."

He nodded in acknowledgement. "Maybe because back then he was just projecting himself into our dimension from his when he was inhabiting my body and controlling it like a puppet, but this time he's actually in someone's head and is controlling her from the inside, so he's channeling his powers through her, or something."

Sasha held up her hand. "Wait, Bill possessed you before?"

Dipper wobbled his head. "Sort of. More like he tore my soul out of my body, leaving me as a disembodied spirit while my body was left as an empty vessel that he inhabited." At the other's flabbergasted looks, he added, "Don't make deals with Bill."

Luz tapped her chin in thought. "So that time Bill was limited to what your body was capable of, but this time he himself is in Marcy's head and is controlling her from inside her mind, which allows him to use some of his power since he's actually in her head instead of just projecting himself from his dimension."

Dipper pointed at her. "That would be my guess too. In fact, I bet he's even capable of using even more of his power than he's already shown you, but doing so could be too much for your friend's body and could damage or even destroy it, and he can't risk doing that until he gets his own body."

Mabel glanced at him. "But would he even be able to get into Gravity Falls? Isn't there that bubble shield thingy surrounding it?"

Dipper nodded at what she said. "Yes, the Natural Law of Weirdness Magnetism. Unfortunately, I don't think that'll stop him from getting in. The magnetism draws weirdness in, so Bill would be able to get through just fine. It's getting out that he would have trouble with. But even if the barrier did keep him out, with him inside their friend's head, he would probably be able to get through just fine."

"But it's ok," King replied. "You can just defeat him like you did last time. Just zap their friend with that memory gun and, bam, no more Bill."

"Dude, that would erase Marcy's mind as well," Anne cried in objection.

Sasha crossed her arms. "Yeah, we are not sacrificing our friend like that."

But King just waved this off. "Nah, it'll be fine. Just do what they did with Stan and help her remember. Marcy's memories will return, but Bill will remain erased. Problem solved!"

Dipper crossed is arms as well. "That would be an option," he cut his eyes at his sister, "if someone hadn't destroyed the memory gun just to emphasize the point of how she'll never forget her friends."

Mabel chuckled bashfully as she rubbed the back of her head. "Wah-wah."

"Oh, great," Eda grumbled. "So our only chance to defeat Bill is gone."

Dipper turned back to the others. "Maybe not. There might be another way to get Bill out of her head. This one time Bill got into Stan's head while he was sleeping and we had to go in after him and get him out. Uch." He slapped his forehead. "But the journal that had the incantation of how to do that was destroyed."

Both Luz and Amity inhaled before simultaneously turning to the Owl Lady, grabbing her arms and shaking her. "Eda, Eda, that spell you used," Luz exclaimed. "The one that sent Amity and me into Willow's head."

"We can use it to go into Marcy's and get rid of Bill," Amity finished, having followed her girlfriend's line of thinking.

Eda shook them off. "Are you crazy? It's dangerous enough sending someone into a person's mind in general. You expect me to do it when there's some interdimensional monster in there. And in there, his power won't be limited to what he can only do with Marcy's body; he'll have full access to all his power. How do you expect to fight against someone like that?"

Smirking, Dipper punched his palm. "Then we'll be able to fight him on equal ground."

All attention turned to him, and Eda gave him a confused look. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Mabel smiled. "When we were in Grunkle Stan's mind we discovered that we could imagine anything we wanted to happen and make it happen."

Dipper shrugged. "I mean, it does take place in the mind, so you just need to imagine it. It's how we got him out of Stan's mind back then."

Eda stared at the for a few moments before looking thoughtful. "Huh. I guess that does make sense."

Luz jolted back. "Wait, you didn't know!?"

"No, I didn't know. I told you, that spell is borderline illegal, so there hasn't been much research done on entering people's minds." She tapped her chin. "I guess any time someone did enter someone else's mind that they only ever used their magic rather than their imagination."

Dipper shrugged. "Makes sense. We didn't even realize we could do that until I met Dream Stan and he told me we could do it."

"Must have been the Inner Stan," Luz noted. She looked at her girlfriend. "Like the time we met the Inner Will–" She suddenly gasped, then grabbed Amity and shook her. "Amity, we did discover that we could imagine things in the mindscape! You did it when you showed the Inner Willow the real reason why you stopped being friends with her."

Amity's eyes widened. "You're… You're right." She rubbed the back of her head. "I guess I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't realize what I was doing."

Dipper crossed his arms. "Bill's only vulnerable in the mindscape. In the real world, he can pretty much control reality, but in the mindscape, we can basically match his power with our imaginations and overpower him." He smiled at each of them. "With all of us working together, we can banish him from Marcy's mind."

Mabel punched the air. "Yeah, teamwork!"

Eda sighed. "Ok, we have plan. Now we just need to pull it off before Bill gets to that statue of his. Speaking of which, you wouldn't happen to know where that is, would you? We should probably guard it."

Dipper and Mabel exchanged a look before nodding. Mabel then dramatically sank behind the counter as Dipper motioned for them to come with him. "Follow me."

(A/N: And there we go, the whole team is together. Sorry if you wanted to see more Gravity Falls characters like the Stans, Soos, Wendy, etc., but I'm already working with 11 main characters, 13 if you include Marcy and Bill; it's hard to work with such a big cast. That's one of the reasons I had Vee stay behind as well. But hey, now all three groups have met. And after some interesting interactions, they're all onboard with saving Marcy. It looks like they have a plan, and hopefully it will work. Dipper, Mabel, and Soos were able to work together to stop Bill when he invaded Stan's mind, so with all of them working together, hopefully they can stop him in Marcy's. I also addressed the question of whether Bill would be able to get through the barrier. Seeing as Gravity Falls is a magnet for weird things that draws them in, and that is what prevented Bill from leaving, he should be able to get into Gravity Falls fine, but will still have a problem with leaving. But hopefully it won't even come to that and our heroes will be able to take care of things before Bill returns to power. So stay tuned to see what comes next. But while you wait, I want to announce the start of my next story, which I will be posting the first chapter of next week. It's a Revolutionary Girl Utena story, and I've had it in mind for years now. The rough draft is done, and I really think it might be one of my best written works so far, so if you're interested, look for it next Wednesday, and don't forget to tell me what you think of this chapter.)
