A/N: Hey everyone! So, I am truly sorry that it has taken a long time for me to update on anything WFPW-related. It's been quite busy for me and I've taken a small break to focus on bettering my mental health which I'm coming out of now. I'm in a better place mentally and ready to live it up creatively. Now, this idea is a bit perplexing as we are dealing with wrestling, but I have been considering a boxing division for WFPW as a separate branch to the main wrestling promotion. Boxing is just as international as professional wrestling and is widely popular in some countries. What I'm aiming for here is for the boxing division to have their own events and stories that will eventually involve titles and personal rivalries. It wouldn't be the first time professional wrestling has had a separate shoot style combat sport affiliated with it. There was Raw Underground, GCW Bloodsport, WrestleMania 2 Roddy Piper vs. Mr. T, and the Brawl-For-All Tournament. Essentially, I'm going the One Night Only route like Impact did, but making it unique with boxing. The division will have their own people, but wrestlers can crossover to fight for titles when and if they please. Right now, this three-day event in Las Vegas will serve as the launch for the division with the roster coming in the full roster reveal for WFPW. Seeing as we are coming to an end for the WFPW wrestling launch tour in California, it's only natural their first boxing event takes place in Nevada next door.
These events will occur under regular boxing rules which I have read up on and they will be spilt into an undercard and main event consisting of male vs. male matches, female vs. female matches, and male vs. female matches. They are a co-ed division so I don't have to spilt anything up between them. Undercard matches will consist of four to eight rounds and the main event will be between nine and twelve rounds. These cards will mainly consist of wrestlers and upcoming boxers that will be in the division once they launch. As such, the boxing division will be a separate story from WFPW, but act as a sibling promotion of sorts.
Anyway, I think that about covers the outline of what I wanted to cover when talking about this and hopefully it brings to light what I want to accomplish from this division.
