WFPW: PRESIDENTIAL POWER, LIVE FROM MOUNT RUSHMORE! KICKOFF PRE-SHOW

Venue: Mount Rushmore Viewing Platform

Date: January 29th, 2023

State/City: Keystone, South Dakota

(The drone shot of Mount Rushmore is shown during the night as light snow flurries fall down and lights can be shown inside a heating tent that will serve as the arena for tonight's show. Inside the tent, fans could be seen getting to their chairs and taking off their coats, hats, and gloves as 5,500 fans were estimated to make it up to see the action. Other fans could be seen in the parking lot watching a live feed through a big jumbo screen and the snow could be seen flying past it. The temperature is currently 22 degrees and the weather called for a chance of light snow, but it was determined safe enough to hold the event.)

(Inside the tent, a big titantron was positioned atop the opening showing the four presidents in the background and the many flags hanging off the silver words "PRESIDENTIAL POWER." The entrance way had the many international flags hanging down as usual and the crowd was separated with two metal guardrails going down each side as fans started getting out their signs. The cameras zoomed down to the ring as an overarching stone entrance door stood just a few feet from the ring. The ring had the normal black mats all around along with the barricade, but there were white boards displaying advertisements around the ring. These ranged from StateFarm, Wal-Mart, Raid: Shadow Legends, NordVPN, Black Rifle Coffee, Martial LAW, Do or Die, Impact Wrestling, AEW on TBS, and Mount Rushmore itself. The ring had red, white, and blue ropes all around it along with the show logo on all the black turnbuckle pads. The black apron coverings had the show logo (north and south) and the blue WFPW logo (west and east) on them. There was no announce table at ringside as the cameras zoomed in to Russ Markley and Greg Justice wearing black tuxedoes standing at the entrance to the tent and they had headsets on their ears.)

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the second launch event for World Frontier Pro Wrestling coming from just under the noses of four great U.S. presidents as we settle in on this cold night in Keystone," Russ stated as he looked out the big window showcasing the lit up presidents.

"Governor Kristi Noem signed off on this event to happen and she will be in attendance tonight and we do have a member of Congress competing here tonight. North Carolina Senator Caleb Collins will be in action and I believe this is the first time a major member of U.S. Congress has competed in pro wrestling," Greg added.

"Well, for the history buffs, Theodore Roosevelt really loved to keep up with boxing even after taking his place in the Oval Office. That ring is gonna be filled to the brim with more than just history. Legends return in tag team action, LAW takes center stage with two momentous battle royals featuring their current main roster stars and their Young Lionesses, and the Amazon Alania Sanders takes on "JJ" Janella Johnson in the main event with her best friend, Sienna Smith, ringside. That's going to have some tension to spare if you followed LAW television," Russ explained.

"We do have one match on deck for here on YouTube and it's Brian Myers taking on MLW's strongman Calvin Tankman. Tankman has been scouring the indies for quite awhile in addition to being with MLW, but he does face his own tough opponent in Brian Myers. Don't let his previous loss record fool you, Myers can hit back hard," Greg stated.

"Let's head ringside where Misa Otomura from League of Anime Wrestling will serve as ring announcer of the evening," Russ declared.

(In the ring stood an orange-haired woman wearing a white and orange dress suit with a blue ribbon around her neck. She wore an orange skirt with a white trim, long white socks with orange ribbons around the tops, and brown dress shoes as she smiled to the audience holding a WFPW microphone.)

LAW and WFPW Ring Announcer

Misa Otomura ( MisaOtomuraLAW)

"Ladies and gentlemen, this first match is set for one-fall!" Misa announced, smiling away at the cheering crowd holding up their signs.

("Up All Night" by Hinder)

(Returning to his old independent wrestling theme, Brian Myers comes out wearing a black sleeveless shirt featuring him in the middle inside an orange frame. He wore black tights and black wrestling boots and he wore white training gloves with a black trim. Brian carried his cane holding it up as he came out to cheers before pointing down towards the ring coming down the ramp.)

The Prince of Queens

Brian Myers ( Myers_Wrestling)

"Introducing first, from Queens, New York, weighing 223 lbs., he is the self-proclaimed Prince of Queens, Brian Myers!" Misa announced in her best American accent.

"The former Digital Media Champion has graced us with his presence and Myers knows how to get himself out of a pickle if he truly needed to," Greg stated.

"He's not just good at collecting wrestling figures. He has studied under Edge before and that has served him well going forward in his career," Russ added.

(Brian came down as the fans reached out to him, but he chuckled shaking his head raising his cane to elicit some boos for no engagement. He told the crowd to keep it coming as he reached the ring and grabbed the white middle rope getting on the apron. Brian heads inside and climbs the lower right corner raising his cane before dropping it in his left hand and dropping down before turning towards the entrance ramp.)

("Hail Mary" by 2Pac)

(Calvin Tankman comes out wearing a bright green hoodie with the Black Label Pro Heavyweight Championship hanging around his neck along with his AAW Tag Team Title in his right hand as he raises it to garner cheers. He also wore green trunks and black boots as he came down the ramp.)

AAW Tag Team Champion and BLP Heavyweight Champion

Calvin Tankman ( CalvinTankman)

"And his opponent, from Muncie, Indiana, weighing in at 382 lbs, this is Calvin Tankman!" Misa announced before she turned around to leave the ring.

"A multi-champion of the indies and he isn't showing any signs of stopping soon. Look at the pounds this man puts on," Russ stated.

"Tankman can fly and use his power to his absolute feats. I've seen him move fast on MLW and he can just as easily blow someone out of the way if they aren't careful. Myers has his work cut out for him," Greg added.

(Calvin slaps some hands, but he is laser focused on the ring as Myers just beckons him forward and Calvin heads up the steel steps wiping his boots on the apron heading inside. Myers holds the cane as he starts hitting Tankman on the back trying to get the early drop, but Tankman pushes Myers to the ground. Tyrone Regis is the official for the match keeping both men separate as the bell rings to start this match.)

Myers regroups in the lower right corner as Tankman glares at him down taking off his belts and his hoodie throwing them outside before running to stomp Myers to the south side outside. Tyrone scolds Tankman before the younger wrestler hyped up the crowd stomping to the north ropes running to hit a Suicide Dive to Myers getting the Impact wrestler up against the barricade as fans back up. Tankman hit elbows to the head of Myers following him down barricade as Tankman grabbed the head hitting it off the barricade making Myers go down on his knees. Calvin slaps some fives with the fans grabbing Myers by the hair shoving him down on the floor as the referee counted up to 7. Calvin rolled into the ring and then rolled back out to restart the count before running for a seated Myers hoping to knee his head against the steel steps! However, Myers rolled out of the way as Calvin's left knee went into the bare steps hard and he screamed out in pain!

"Oooh, Calvin takes a very hard shot to those solid steel steps! I don't know if he can walk that off in the morning," Russ observed.

"Being as big as Calvin is, it gives Myers something to go after and hopefully ground the big man so he doesn't have to be thrown around all the time," Greg added.

Calvin hobbled as Myers got back up kicking at the left leg and backing Calvin up against the apron hitting chops to the chest of his larger opponent. The referee counted to 6 as Myers lifted Calvin on the apron and shoved him under the bottom west rope. Myers rolls in before mounting Tankman hitting furious punches to the head getting a couple boos from the crowd inside the tent. Myers then lifted the left leg targeting it with vicious kicks as Tankman sells the damage being done to his leg. Myers gets Calvin up by his head and on his knees as he runs the west ropes hitting a Bicycle Knee Strike to face knocking the big man on his back! Myers swarms down on Tankman lifting the fat guy's right leg for the pin.

"1…2…" The ref counted, but Tankman pushes out after 2!

"Myers now controlling this match and he's smartly going after the leg that was damaged when Calvin rammed it into the steel steps," Russ stated.

Myers gets Calvin down dropping his left knee into the face and another and another getting major boos from the crowd. He tries to lift the left leg going for a Figure 4 Leglock, but Calvin uses his free foot to push Myers onto the west ropes getting back up before hitting a German Suplex as Myers goes on his stomach holding his neck and back. Calvin then runs the south ropes hitting a Senton Bomb on the back as Myers screams in agony with the referee checking on him. Calvin gets Brian up whipping him into the upper right corner as Brian grits his teeth upon impact. Calvin runs hitting a Corner Clothesline nearly vaulting Brian over the top rope. Calvin smirks before grabbing Brian to hoist him up and throw him into the middle of the ring on his back. Calvin gets ready for a Lariat, but as he runs out to connect, Brian springs up to hit a surprise Spear! The crowd cheered a little bit at the move adopted by Brian's mentor.

"Oh and a Spear! Myers did learn a lot from Edge and he pulled it out when he needed it the most!" Greg exclaimed.

Brian then backs up in the lower left corner waiting for Calvin to get up as the big man struggled somewhat before rolling to the south ropes to get up. Calvin stumbled somewhat before turning around into what would be another Spear! Brian then mounted Calvin for a pin.

"1…2…." The ref counted, but Calvin pushed out at 2.7!

Brian hits the head of Calvin talking down at him before getting the big man to sit up and he drives knee after knee after knee into Calvin's back. Calvin took each knee with force and had enough strength to be a bit durable, but not enough so it wouldn't hurt him. Brian grabbed the head and got Calvin down as the crowd booed Myers and tried clapping to hype Calvin up. Calvin started beating the canvas with his right arm to the beat of the crowd clapping along as he slowly got up before lifting Brian on his shoulders. Brian frailed around and then hit a Samoan Drop straight in the middle of the ring! Brian arched his back and flopped on the canvas as Calvin sat up getting to his feet.

"Brian must've saw that coming. Calvin could've broken that hold, but he simply used his strength to get Brian on the shoulders in order to slam him in the middle of the ring. He didn't even need to think on his feet for that one," Russ stated.

Calvin stalks Brian in a circle and smiles at him as Brian tries to plead with him to spare him and he even offers to get counted out trying to roll out of the ring on the south side, but Calvin stomps the back with his right boot. Calvin gets Brian up getting him in Suplex position as he lifts Brian, but transitions into Piledriver position hitting the Tankman Driver in the middle of the ring! Calvin rolls onto Brian hooking one of his legs and waits for the count.

"1…2…3!" The ref counted and proceeded to raise Calvin's left arm as he then fetched his titles for Calvin.

("Hail Mary" by 2Pac)

"Here is your winner, Calvin Tankman!" Misa announced from outside the ring.

"Brian did the best he could and it's not always easy to take down the big guys, but Calvin had the advantage the entire match," Russ stated.

"Myers pulled out a smart move at the beginning by driving Calvin into the steps and then attempted to keep him grounded. Even his old mentor's move couldn't bring him good fortune in this match," Greg added.

An instant replay shows Calvin hitting Myers with the Samoan Drop when Myers had him in the headlock and then Calvin is shown lifting Myers hitting his Tankman Driver covering Myers after for the win.

(Calvin is given his titles by the referee as the younger star lifts his belts in the air for the crowd to cheer for him, but a hooded figure in blue jeans and black combat boots slides in from the north side. He turns Calvin around lifting him on the shoulders and twirls him around for the F5 as the crowd and the music stop blaring. The figure throws back the hood to reveal Brian Cage as The High Standard has made their presence felt here tonight.)

"Cage?! What's he doing here?!" Greg exclaimed.

"We remember from Absolute Zero that AEW World Champion MJF created the High Standard with Brian Cage, Andrade, Angelico, and Private Party. I guess Cage wanted to set his own standard that he's the biggest powerhouse in WFPW," Russ stated.

"That means these creeps could be lurking anywhere as the night rolls on," Greg complained.

"As it is, Cage is the only confirmed member here and it's entirely possible Max gave directions for his followers to carry out tonight," Russ stated.

"That's all the time we have here on the kickoff pre-show for Presidential Power. We have the live main show coming up next with explosive action up on deck. Cage pretty much set that standard already for the night," Greg explained.

(The crowd booed Cage as he beat his chest telling off the crowd. He leaned over the south top rope glaring at the crowd and Calvin was checked on by the referee as the screen goes black with the blue WFPW logo flashing up on the screen to end the broadcast.)
