As the fight between Chrysalis Carapace went on, she became less and less sure she was actually capable of defeating her opponent. It was as if he had a counter for everything she attempted. She thrust her sword towards him, and in one motion, he blocked the attack with his shield and swept her legs, sending her to the ground.

She managed to pull herself back to her feet, but she didn't have any idea how she'd pull this off. Maybe there was a reason her boss hadn't told her to go after Carapace?

"Dammit. I shouldn't be losing to a guy like you!" She cursed mostly under her breath, looking around for an escape route. Ladybug and Chat Noir she knew not to mess with but him!? He was a B list hero at best she shouldn't be struggling.

"A guy like me? what's that supposed to mean?" Nino wasn't exactly concerned about this girl's opinion of him, but he didn't like to be underestimated.

Chrysalis got up and attempted to run and Carapace threw his shield after her, she lept over the attack but just when she was feeling smug the shield ricocheted off someone's chimney and hit her square in the stomach sending her to the ground.

"Anarchist change of plan, I need you to come help me as soon as you can." She spoke quietly, and since he was on the other side of the rooftop, she was pretty sure Carapace hadn't heard her.

Anarchist himself was in a spot of trouble; he'd just been minding his own business watching his groupies raid the Louvre, which he thought fitting since a lot of the art in there is stolen from Italy anyways. When he had been ever so rudely attacked by Minotaurox he stepped back to avoid a swing of the brutes hammer before hitting him across the back of the head with the stop sign he was using as a makeshift weapon.

"Hey guys, entertain our guest" The group under his influence swamped Ivan as the Akumatized villain made his escape heading in the direction of Chrysalis and Carapace.

He wouldn't go unnoticed, however, as he would attract the attention of Ladybug, Chat Noir, Ryuko, and Rooster Bold. Safe to say, Chrysalis calling for backup only made things worse for her.

Nevertheless, as Anarchist arrived on the scene, he would find Chrysalis doing her best to fend off Carapace with limited success. Honestly, it was sad to watch. He swooped in and struck Carapace with his stop sign, knocking the hero back, giving Chrysalis a minute to catch her breath.

"Cheap shot. But I suppose this means you know you can't beat me one on one" Carapace gloated clearly, trying to annoy her.

She almost fell for it as well, but she steadied herself. She couldn't beat him on her own.

Unfortunately It didn't look like Anarchist would make a difference as 4 more Heroes arrived on the scene. Ladybug and Chat Noir, who she definitely couldn't fight. Ryuko, who she wasn't confident she could beat, and the weak link. Rooster Gold.

This many heroes in one place had attracted the press who, thanks to Anarchist, weren't the slightest bit concerned about being this close to the fight if they could get a good recording.

If she couldn't take the turtle, his miraculous would do. "Anarchist keep those 4 busy, I need some time alone with bird brain here."

She rushed Rooster Gold, who just about managed to avoid the attack. This time, however, the other Hero's knew what she was trying to do.

Like when she isolated Miss Hound and took her miraculously. Trusting Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Carapace to handle Anarchist Ryuko jumped in to assist Rooster Gold.

Chrysalis would clash swords with Ryuko, but again, she would quickly find herself. At a disadvantage, Ryuko fought like an expert with that thing while she was, at best, an amateur.

During this time, Rooster Bold was trying to think of a power to give himself via sublimation. Why couldn't he think under pressure!?

That said, unlike Ryuko, Chrysalis wasn't opposed to fighting dirty. As the two girls clashed, Chrysalis, in one swift motion, kicked Ryuko hard in the shin.

She just about managed to avoid crying out in pain, but Chrysalis used the distraction to kick her again in the midsection, causing her to drop her sword.

Seeing that he had no time to be clever about this, Rooster Bold decided to grant himself the ability to render anyone unconscious with a single punch. He aimed a punch at Chrysalis, who swerved to the left of the blow before getting ready for round two.

Anarchist had taken his fight with Ladybug, Chat Noir and Carapace to the streets since they trusted Ryuko to handle Chrysalis; they didn't hesitate to follow him all though now they had to fight through possessed citizens again.

"Is it really so important that you stop me? I'm just giving people the freedom to do what they wanna do" Anarchist asked as he stood atop a crashed police car.

"Laws exist for a reason you can't just disregard them because you disagree with one or two." Ladybug replied as she ducked a woman who attempted to hit her with a bat.

"Fighting these guys is pointless," Chat snapped. "If we stop him, we stop all of em"

"Well yeah of course, but we can't exactly get a clear path to him" Obviously, they should go for him. Did he think she hadn't thought of that?

"Maybe you can't." He replied somewhat shortly, vaulting over the crowd with his staff, but Anarchist was ready for him and attacked him as soon as he landed.

"Does he have to rush in like that without a plan!?" She lamented. Before calling upon her lucky charm, some kind of spray oil. "Can't it just be something obvious for once?"

"Just go figure it out. I'll handle these guys. He'll probably need your help." Carapace assured her he'd be fine, and with that, she was off to help Chat.

Chat seemed to be handling himself fairly well, but there was no clear winner here. She used the wire of her Yo Yo to attempt to restrain Anarchist, who grabbed the string and pulled her towards him before striking her with his sign.

"You know I was supposed to take your miraculous. I was putting it off, but since you're both here, it seems like a good time."

Before she has a moment to explain her plan, Chat would rush ahead. Attempting to destroy the sign with his cataclysm, that was the only thing he had, so it must be that. Unfortunately, this Akuma was faster than he looked, and Chat could scarcely land a blow.

Ladybug would again try to restrain him with her Yo-Yo, and he would again try to drag her into range by the string. "Come on again? Try a new one!"

This time, however, this was what Ladybug had expected, and once she was close enough, she took out the spray oil and sprayed it directly into the Akuma's eyes as good as blinding him temporarily

Chat used that moment to grab the sign and destroy it, causing the young man to revert back to normal.

As per usual, her Ladybugs would fix the city and return everyone back to normal before she captured the Akuma.

Chrysalis noticed that everything was fixed and scowled. Anarchist was a failure, and that meant she was on a countdown. She avoided yet another punch from Rooster Bold. He was not as experienced a fighter as the other heroes; she could do this as long as she had to.

Which wouldn't be much longer, Rooster Bold was panicking he'd destransform soon, but he just needed one hit, so why was this so hard!? He got a glimmer of hope when he saw Ryuko back on her feet.

She lunged at Chrysalis with her sword just as Rooster Bold threw a punch. Chrysalis dodged both attacks, and Kagami stopped short to avoid hitting Rooster Bold.

Unfortunately, Marc wasn't able to stop himself, and he finally hit the wrong target, knocking Ryuko unconscious. "Agh! I'm so sorry!"

"Oh don't worry, that's not the worst mistake you've made today" Chrysalis pointed to his thumb ring just as the transformation wore off. Marc himself hardly put up a fight, and before Ladybug and Chat Noir even showed up, she'd fled the scene with another miraculous.

Not the one she'd intended but a win's a win.

When Chrysalis arrived at the warehouse she'd been using as her lair, she would find her boss already waiting for her. She was still wearing a mask, but she didn't seem happy.

Her transformation dropped, and the girl formerly known as Lila Rossi. Presented the Thumb Ring. "I know you didn't tell me to do this, but look, I got another miraculous. So, I think that's proof enough that I can plan stuff on my own."

"I just have one question" The woman began in a flat tone with an underlying fury. "Do I look like a fool?"

"I'm not sure what yo-" She was cut off. The woman had hit her. She was stunned into silence as she held her cheek, which was now beginning to sting.

"You didn't go out to take Rooster Golds Miraculous" the masked figure explained. "You went after Carapace. Tell me you brainless wretch aside from Ladybug and Chat Noir. Which hero has the most experience with their miraculous?"

She was quite no wonder she hadn't been able to beat him. "Carapace"

"Yes very good, so what possessed you to try and fight him!?" She sneered derisively, looking down at the girl. "You almost messed up the entire plan. What would we have done then, huh!?"

She quietly endured the woman's ranting until the woman in the mask simply took the Rooster Miraculous and turned to leave. "I'll overlook this because you came back with a miraculous. Do not act on your own again."

And with that, she left. Leaving the nameless girl alone, even Nooroo found himself feeling bad for her.

Morale was understandably quite low amongst the Parisian Hero's they'd beaten Anarchist, but they'd lost another miraculous in the process, which made the victory ring hollow.

Ryuko was blaming herself once she'd woken up despite Marc's insistence that it was his fault and Ladybug didn't want to face the press again now that they'd lost a second one.

She could see the headlines claiming the Hero's were incompetent already. Maybe they were right?

Chat checked his phone and saw he had a message from Nathalie of all people he had given her his information after all. Which meant she had something for him?

The message read

I am writing to inform you of an opportunity to investigate Tomoe Tsurugi more thoroughly, in two weeks time she will be hosting an charity event that will serve as the Agreste brands official statement on the Allegations against Gabriel Agreste.

The venue for this event will be her own home, I can arrange for a window on the roof to be left open, I would recommend keeping the group small though no more than two people as best to avoid detection.

As he finished reading, he turned to the group of disheartened heroes, "guys I might have found us a lead."

Hey, back again. I know I haven't updated in a while, but the reason is I had no ideas. Another small issue is that the fanfiction app is Kinda Terrible actually.
