(A/N: Yes, I am back to this for a bit)
The moment they were able to get away from Borg Tower, Zane, Blake, P.I.X.A.L. and Cyrus made it back to the monastery to explain their plan to Dragon, once he had returned from a little walk in the park. In the living room, Blake had removed the other half of his broken prosthetic to look at it a little, possibly hoping to recover any intact components, only to find none and placed it on the table, while Zane and P.I.X.A.L. look at the motherboard as it laid on the table and Cyrus was lifting his step-grandson up and down. "We need to find a safe place to put it in." P.I.X.A.L. said. "Somewhere The Mechanic wouldn't find it."
"I actually had a thought of that." Zane replied.
He soon opened his panel and prepared to put it in, but Blake stops him. "Wait!" He said, taking it and shook it a little. "I might have a better idea."
"Okay, where?"
In the hangar bay, Blake leads Zane and P.I.X.A.L. to something on the table, covered by a blanket. "Are you suggesting we hide it in what you're going to show us?" P.I.X.A.L. asked.
"Only other place I could think of, since hiding the motherboard in ordinary appliances won't work." He replied, looking at the motherboard in his hand. "Besides, now's the time I need it now." He puts the motherboard aside, grabs hold of the blanket and pulls it back to reveal the item. "Ta da."
Zane and P.I.X.A.L. were surprised to discover that it was a prosthetic arm, almost similar to The Mechanic's, complete with a silver wrist with buttons. "Is that one of The Mechanic's robot arms?"
"Oh, no. I made it actually." He kneels down to grab something underneath and stands up to show them. "Remember how I found blueprints for an arm that would make you feel in The Mechanic's headquarters the other day?"
"Let me guess, you designed your new arm based on the blueprints of that certain arm." Zane said.
"Correct."
"And when did you make that, considering you guys arrested The Mechanic a few days ago?" P.I.X.A.L. asked.
"I've been up all night working on it." He throws the blueprints aside before picking up the prosthetic arm to show them. "Now, if this works, I may be able to feel things with this prosthetic, just like The Mechanic." He moves the prosthetic towards the component all over the shoulder and clamps it into place before he started to move his new arm as a test, which included moving the elbow, wriggling the fingers and doing some punches, and it worked. "Okay, it works when I move it. Now, I just need something to feel."
"How about some Ice?" Zane asked, conjuring some Ice in his hands.
"Okay, chill away." Blake holds out the prosthetic as Zane moved to place the ice block in the hand, but the moment it made contact, Blake immediately moved it back, hissing from the cold. "Whoa, that was cold."
"Was that actually real?" P.I.X.A.L. asked, a little skeptical.
"Okay, then, sis." He places the ice block on the table and held the hand out. "Squeeze it."
P.I.X.A.L. moves to grab the hand before immediately gripping it tight and Blake groaned in pain before she lets go. "I guess it works."
"Wait till The Mechanic sees this. I'll probably go, 'Compliments of you.'" He practiced his line.
"That is perfect." Zane said. "Now, as some say, back to the topic at hand. Where are we gonna hide the motherboard?"
"Easy." Blake picks up the motherboard, holds his new prosthetic arm out as if he would flex a muscle before pressing a button under the elbow, and a secret panel opens up at the top of the arm. "I'll just stick it in here." He grabs the motherboard, puts it in, and closes the panel. "There we go."
"But, what if a scan finds it?" P.I.X.A.L. asked.
"Oh, no, it's got a coating that can interfere with any type of camera or thermal scanner, making it simply just a normal prosthetic." He grabs a nearby camera, plugs it in and aims it at the prosthetic for the supercomputer's monitor to show the camera's point of view in thermal imaging, where it doesn't detect the motherboard, surprising them. "Problem solved."
"Are there any other components?" Zane asked out of the blue.
"Actually, a few." He moved his prosthetic back to press one of the buttons, and a flash of red light appears. "My distress beacon." He turns it off before turning the prosthetic around to press another button, and some light shines out of the palm. "A flashlight." He turns it off and shows them another button. "And a communication device. Save me carrying around one, only to end up losing it, or having it destroyed."
"I am now jealous of you, brother." P.I.X.A.L. said, smiling at him.
"Jealous of what?" Dragon's voice was heard as they all turn to see him coming up to them.
"Ah, Master Wu." Zane said before he and Blake bow.
Dragon looks with curiosity. "Where are Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Nya, Geoff and Gewuji?"
"They entered Prime Empire." Blake said.
Dragon becomes surprised. "What?"
"The best opportunity to stop Milton Dyer was to confront him in the real world as himself, and in Prime Empire as Unagami." P.I.X.A.L. said.
"They couldn't go because of their programming." Blake said, referring to Zane and P.I.X.A.L. "Besides, I think they're more help here than in there. I even had to stay behind, mostly from being distracted."
"Then, let us start our search for Milton Dyer." Dragon replied.
(A/N: Main reason I had Blake stay behind was because I might have him get a new prosthetic and a better hiding spot for the motherboard. It'll play a vital role in a future chapter)
