"What the fuck was that?" Roman asked.

Roman turned his head towards the window. He had just heard something outside. Seth raised his head too, not sure what Roman thought he had heard. A loud scream sounded through the night. A scream of a big cat.

"Are there mountain lions or cougars in this area?" Roman asked.
"Not around here," Seth answered.

Another scream tore through the night that made both men waver.

"No house cat sounds like that," Roman said.
"Let's go check it out," Seth said.

They walked through Seth's house and out into the garden. There was nothing to see out there but they continued down to the back of the garden and stared ahead into the forest area. It wasn't a big forest but it was big enough to hide animals and people. There had never been any big cats around there though.

"You are aware if someone let out a mountain lion in this area, we're pretty fucked if it gets its claws on us, right?" Roman asked.
"You're fucked," Seth grinned at his friend. "I run way faster than you and you can feed several mountain lions with your big body."
"So you're just gonna leave me there to die?" Roman asked.
"I'll totally call for help from the safety of my house," Seth chuckled.

Roman chuckled too and then looked towards the black forest again. It was useless. Even if something was in there, they couldn't see it this late at night.

"Whatever it was, it's gone now," Seth said. "Let's get back inside. Patience is waiting for us."
"Mmm, she's been way too fun to play with," Roman said.

Inside Seth's house a woman with long, strawberry blonde hair and a pair of cognac brown eyes were waiting. She had been there for many hours and endured pain handed out by these two men.

"I love her name. Patience," Seth smiled. "She has to have patience when she's playing with us. It's not like we kill right away."

Another loud cat scream tore through the night and it made both men freeze on the spot.

"Okay, I'm beginning to think someone let out a mountain lion in the forest," Seth whispered.
"What is that?" Roman asked.

Out from the forest something blue came walking. It took a few seconds before they realized it was a person with a blue, hooded cloak wrapped around them. The person walked towards them and they soon realized it was a woman's face under the hood. Her eyes were almond shaped and yellow looking in the moonlight. For some reason they felt rooted to the spot over seeing this woman. She had a secret smile on her face and walked right in between them without saying a word. She continued through the garden and into Seth's house.

"She just went into your house," Roman said.
"Patience! Fuck!" Seth growled.
"Guess we have two toys to play with tonight," Roman smirked. "I love it when a meal serves itself. Let's go get her."
