The longer everyone worked together, the easier it was to split into different groups, even when they all came from different worlds. It made for a more fun experience anyways, and Ceodore had really come to enjoy learning about the others that came from so many different places.

Though, that being said, the group he was currently with while scouting the land was an interesting one.

He had Lulu and Terra along with him for the day, and they were always very interesting to talk to, even if Lulu was not one for many words. The other in their group, however, was Laguna, and he was still one of the strangest and funniest adults Ceodore had ever met.

Still, even for all the silly things he would say, he still had plenty of things to talk about with everyone else.

"Does anyone else find it a bit odd that the world is more or less at peace, but we still have monsters roaming around?"

Ceodore nodded. "That is strange indeed. If this land is supposed to be for respite, then it shouldn't have anything that would disrupt that peace."

Lulu hummed. "I would say it would fulfill the desire of some of our more…..energetic companions."

Terra let out a soft giggle." Heh… I know a few already who would agree otherwise. They would love nothing more than to train endlessly."

"So it's not necessarily all bad, you think? There is still the problem that we've been running across stronger and stronger monsters. It's been tough to try and keep track of everything that we've seen so far," Ceodore replied with a sigh.

A moment passed and the ground around them started to shake.

Laguna started to stretch his arms up in the arm. "Ask and you shall receive I guess, although that was some strong shaking."

Terra looked out over the land. "Do you think there could be something nearby? We should probably go check it out."

Lulu shrugged slightly at the rest of the group. "We don't have a choice in the matter, do we? We might as well solve the problem now then later."

Far into the field they found a group of monsters, and someone trying their best to fend them off. From what they could tell, he was wearing some sort of purple uniform and a helmet covering his head.

"Can't say I like having to put so much effort when I just got here, but I think I have bigger problems here at the moment," they could hear him mutter as they approached.

Quickly Ceodore cast a few fireballs, just enough to momentarily distract the beasts.

The man turned to look at them. "Looks like you guys made it just in time!"

"You alright?" Laguna asked.

Ceodore readied his sword when he saw monsters approaching again. "We'll back you up!"

The man nodded. "Right, much appreciated! Here we go!"

"Are you hurt?" Lulu asked after the battle was over.

The man shook his head, rolling his shoulders slightly. "Never better, but thanks for the assistance."

Terra smiled. "We're glad to see that you're unharmed, although it looked like you really didn't need any help at all."

"Hah, I wouldn't be able to call myself a SOLDIER if I couldn't handle some minor threats," the man replied with a laugh.

Laguna raised an eyebrow. "A SOLDIER you, eh? Hmm…" He stared at the new man from all sides. "Yup, you look like a few people we know who have said the same thing! Definitely from the same world!"

"The same thing…? Wait, are there others here too? Heh, gotta admit that being pulled to this place had me feeling a bit down when I thought I was the only one here."

"You don't have to worry. There and plenty of us here," Ceodore replied. "And Laguna's right. That outfit of yours is very reminiscent of Cloud and Zack, so I'm guessing you are also the same as them?"

There was a loud gasp. "Zack and Cloud are here too!? That's… That's great to hear?"

Lulu hummed with a small nod. "Indeed. I believe there is one other too, a mentor of Zack if I recall. Although, we should probably ask for your name before you reunite with the others."

"Right, right, sorry. Got a bit caught up in the moment there. So, I am Kunsel, Shinra SOLDIER 2nd Class; pleasure to meet you all!"

"Well, you weren't kidding. That is some airship," Kunsel commented as the group approached.

"You'll probably find people you know once inside," Ceodore explained. "A lot of us venture out in groups, so if your friends aren't there now, then they'll probably be back later."

Kunsel nodded and thanked the group before heading off on his own. He began to wander the halls, taking note of everything that he saw.

Occasionally, he would be greeted by the others he passed by. All of them were so different from one another, and it made Kunsel curious to gather as much information as he could.

"Oh, it's you."

Kunsel turned to the side, seeing a familiar girl with reddish hair standing in the doorway.

"Cissnei? Even a Turk is here?"

She smiled. "Reno and Rude are here too, but I think they're out right now."

"Interesting. So we got SOLDIER and Turks working together."

"Hmm, and plenty more. Don't be surprised if you see Rufus around, but he isn't the most sociable."

While Kunsel was interested in seeing just how many from his world were there, he had a much more pressing matter on his mind. "Have you seen Cloud? Or… Zack?"

"You want to see him, don't you?"

Cissnei could see right through him, just as he expected a Turk to do. "Yeah. Learning he was here… it was a bit of a shock. But he's doing well. I take it?"

"Of course. He's Zack after all. I have some things I need to tend to, but you can find him."

Kunsel went onward, searching every floor of the ship to find Zack. Eventually, he came to the dining room, filled with several different tables. There was a large variety of people sitting throughout the space, each joined in groups at different tables.

After looking around for a moment, Kunsel spotted him.

Sitting at one of the smaller tables, he spotted Zack talking to a few others he didn't recognize. Either way, he headed over to the table, taking off his helmet as he neared.

"Zack?"

Zack turned to the side, his eyes widening as he saw who was standing before him. "Kunsel!? You're here now too!?"

Before Kunsel could answer, he was pulled into a large crushing hug by Zack. "Yeah, it's me, Zack."

"Man, it's so good to see you!"

"Same to you. I… I uh, I don't really know how all of this works in this world," Kunsel started to say, treading carefully. "But I haven't seen you in a while. You went off to Niblheim and-"

"Hey wait, hold on," Zack said, lowering his voice. He quickly turned to the group at the table and smiled. "Give us a moment, okay! I'll come back to finish my story as soon as I catch my buddy Kunsel up to speed!"

Zack guided Kunsel out of the dining room, down into the hallway until they entered into a small bedroom.

"You don't have to dance around it," Zack replied, shutting the door. "I remember everything. Lot of us started without most of our memories, but I think everyone pretty much has them caught up to date."

Kunsel raised an eyebrow. "You mean… even when you were out of Nibelheim?"

"All the way up to when I reached the outskirts of Midgar and the entire army came to fight me… like you had emailed me about."

"Then why didn't you listen?" Kunsel sighed. "I warned you they were coming, yet you were as stubborn as ever."

Zack smiled, typical of him to do so. "Eh, yeah I could have listened. But in the end, it's okay. I might've died that day, but Cloud didn't, and he went on to be Gaia's hero."

"But you… Do you know how much it hurt hearing the confirmation you were dead? How much I felt like I failed?"

"Kunsel… You know it was beyond your control."

"Yeah! But I couldn't do anything after that. I wanted to get out, but I was stuck under Shinra's thumb!"

"I'm sorry, Kunsel.

"But you still, ugh, there's no use arguing with you. You're alive here. I'm happy enough with that," Kunsel replied.

"And I am happy to see you! I gotta introduce everyone to you! Oh! And we should go see Aerith too!"

"Aerith as well? Shouldn't be too surprised," Kunsel chuckled.

With a wide grin from Zack, he opened the door and pulled Kunsel back through it. Come on! I am now your official tour guy! I'll show you around and catch you up on everything!"

With a laugh, Kunsel let Zack drag him around. He wouldn't deny that he had missed this. He had missed his friend quite a lot, and seeing him here, happy and cheerful as every was much more than Kunsel could have ever wished for.

After an evening being pulled over the entire ship, Kunsel felt he really needed to sit down and relax. He still had to take in the fact he was in another world, with over a hundred people all from different worlds as well. And all of them were coming together to fight off all of the respective evils from their worlds that had also been brought here.

It shouldn't have been a surprise at this point that Sephiroth was also there, but it still came as a shock to Kunsel. It seemed that man just never wanted to stay dead, and would cause trouble wherever he showed.

But, he could worry about joining the fights another day. For now there was a relative bit of peace, though Kunsel knew all too well it wouldn't last long.

"Looks like you had a long day, huh?"

Kunsel turned around to see a young woman with grayish hair, wearing a short black dress. "Ah, yeah. Kind of hard to keep up with Zack sometimes. Man, his energy never seems to run out!"

"I've noticed from what I've seen of him," she laughed.

"And you are?"

"Neon."

"Pleasure to meet you," Kunsel replied, giving a respectful bow.

"You wear the same uniform as him and the other two. I've heard a bit about your world, but I don't really get it," Neon replied.

Kunsel smiled. "Would you care for me to explain? If I do, then in exchange you need to tell me about your world."

Neon laughed. "So curious to learn about other worlds?"

"I've always had a happen of trying to learn as much as I can about those around me. I could tell you so many secrets about Zack, he'd die of embarrassment!"

"I believe you. Well then, let's find a place to sit and we can talk."

"Know anywhere more private where we won't be disturbed?"

Neon shrugged. "Kind of hard when you have so many people moving around, but I'm sure we could find something."

"Can I come?"

Looking back the other way, Kunsel saw a young boy with brown hair running towards them.

The boy grinned at Kunsel. "I'm Palom! And I like to keep tabs on all the new guys!"

"Oh do you know?" Kunsel laughed.

"Yup! And I need to learn more about the SOLDIER stuff you are in with Cloud and Zack!"

"Then I guess…" he glanced back at Neon. "If you don't mind?"

She smiled. "That's alright by me."

Palom grinned. "Great! Now I got a lot of questions for you!"

"We better find a good place to sit before he asks your ear off," Neon laughed.

Together, the three headed off to find a place to sit. Along the way Palom started to ask as many questions as he could. Kunsel had a feeling he was going to be in for a long night. But, he didn't mind it too much. Knowing Zack was there any time he wanted to talk was always a plus, and on top of that he had his own investigations he wanted to do about everyone and this world.
