She was pouring herself a cup of water when she felt a hard contraction come in, followed by a splash of water hitting the ground, liquid going down her legs. "Oh my god, Loki!" Desi yelled as she took deep breaths. There was no answer, and Desi grabbed her phone, yelping out in pain. "FRIDAY, please alert someone. I'm in labor, please." Desi said. "Done, the team has been notified." The female AI voiced to her.

"Destiny!"

She looked up in annoyance when Loki came running, taking her arm as he guided her outside, with Astros waiting for them. "Come, let's take you to Asgard." Loki said as he lifted her carefully. Astros kneeled for his master as the God of Mischief climbed on to secure her. He called for Heimdall and was called up immediately, flying directly towards the kingdom. Frigga, Thor, and Odin awaited them with the medical team on standby. Once she landed, they took her quickly to the medical bay, where she was in for a rough day.

After a few gruesome hours of delivery, Destiny fell back as she heard the cries of her child. "You did wonderful, darling," Loki whispered in her ear, kissing her temple, "thank you for gifting our child. You were so strong." Loki looked back to see his child was cleaned up and given a golden thread blanket as they brought them to the parents.

"Skin-to-skin is best after birth for bonding. But congratulations, you have borne a strong son," the midwife told her. Destiny teared up as her son, born with black hair, was given to her. He instantly stopped crying, Loki kissing his son's head as he cautiously stroked over him. "Our son's so handsome, just like his father," she said, looking up at Loki. He looked over to his wife, unable to stop the smile that refused to leave him. He would worship her and his son, fighting to his last breath for them if he had to.

"What do you want to name him, beloved?"

"Are you certain?" Loki questioned.

"Of course."

"Asmund, Asmund Parker Odinson."

"Perfect."

"Let me hold my grandson, if you please. I've longed for this moment." Frigga insisted. Loki smiled, handing his mother his son, Odin stroking the head of the newborn as Frigga stroked the baby's cheek. "Such a precious gift..." Frigga spoke, "he will be as kind as his mother. Yet will have his father's wrath against his enemies; a perfect combo."

"I am proud of you, my son." Odin stated, looking at Loki. His eyes softened, looking over his father before he nodded, feeling a sense of relief and acceptance he hadn't accepted from him in years. "Thank you...father."

Thor smirked, happy for his brother. "Be good to them, Loki."

Loki nodded, "I will. You have my word."

When they finally returned home after a whole day of celebration with Asgard, Desi was surprised by the team altogether at their home. "Oh my god! Is that them?" Pepper squealed as she and Nat hovered over the baby. "It is! Our darling son." Destiny announced. "What are their name?" Clint asked the new parents, surprised to see it was Loki holding the baby.

"Ah, of course. Dreadfully sorry, there. Meet our son, Asmund Parker Odison." Loki announced. "I'm sorry, c-can you repeat that again, please?" Peter asked as he approached Loki. "Asmund. Parker." Loki said, smirking at Peter's disbelief. Desi chuckled when Peter looked at her in confusion, and she expected no less from him. She clasped her hands on the teenager's shoulders, smiling at him as he focused on her, "Ask him why."

Peter looked at Loki nervously, "W-Why would you do that?"

"Destiny considers you like a little brother; you must know that. You brought her back to us and cared for her when we couldn't. I find no other mortal I wish my son to aspire to than your qualities." Peter teared up, making Tony roll his eyes in annoyance. "Alright, kid, contain yourself, seriously." Tony said, but Peter ignored him as he hugged Destiny tightly, burying his head into her shoulder.

Loki brought the baby over to Peteras, and their embrace broke. "Here, would you like the honors?" Loki asked, holding his son out to him. "Really? Thanks Loki." Peter said as he carefully took the baby in his arms. Peter ran a finger over the baby's fingers, and when the baby gripped his finger, it excited him. "Oh my gosh, his tiny hand grabbed me. Did you see that? Wow."

Destiny chuckled at his excitement when Bucky came to her side, placing a kiss on top of her head, catching her attention. "Good job, he looks handsome. " Bucky stated. "Thank you! He is, isn't he?" Destiny agreed. Bucy leaned down to her ear, making her shiver when his breath hit her skin, "Ours will be just as cute." Destiny blushed ridiculously, making a smirk on his face.

"Lemi is on his way, but come inside; we brought you food and some stuff for the baby." Sam insisted, the team going inside to celebrate the newest member and family of the Avengers.

?

Time came and went too fast for everyone. A few months had passed, and Destiny was surprised to see how involved Loki was with raising Asmund, passing on any mission that came his way until the baby could sit on his own. Peter, Wade, and Lemi would visit regularly, allowing her a moment to rest, but Bucky was just as helpful. He would stay home and pass his missions for her sake as she took on her own missions, which she appreciated more than anything.

Destiny had just finished her mission when she walked into the home, where she saw Bucky sitting alone in the living room with his head down. His hands were clasped together, and she was worried for a moment.

"Hey, Bucky." she greeted him as she approached him. He looked up, smiling when he saw her and held his arms to her. She smiled curiously but was enveloped by him, sitting on his lap. "Welcome back. How was the mission?" he asked her. "Good, Steve took good care of me." she answered, receiving a nod from him. "Did he talk to you, by chance?" he questioned, but she shook her head.

"No, why?"

"He misses you."

She sighed, "Bucky-"

"Just hear him out, okay? That's all I'm saying."

"Okay, I will, just- don't bring him up right now. Where's Loki and Asmund?" she asked, looking around in hopes of changing the topic all too quickly. "They went to Asgard for a visit. At my request." Bucky told her, catching her off-guard. "You did? Why?" she asked. He didn't respond but had a soft expression on his face, pulling her in to kiss her gently.

"I've missed you, doll," he said softly, his gaze heated as he searched for her eyes. Desi parted her lips, looking down at his as she felt a wave of arousal overwhelming her, her thoughts thinking of nothing but him. "I've missed you as well, my love. I'm sorry if I've been neglecting you." Destiny whispered before he crushed his lips against hers, allowing her to wrap her arms around his neck as he lifted her. He took her upstairs to their bedroom before somehow managing to remove their tops.

"I want you completely to myself right now. No one else." He threatened her, pressing his erect cock against her covered sex, and Ezri smirked; he was pent up. Desi released her legs, her feet touching the ground before she released her arms.

Bucky stared at her in confusion as she backed up against the wall, motioning for him to follow her. He smirked playfully as she undressed the rest of herself, exposing her nude form to him. He watched her curiously once he was mere inches from her when his eyes widened. She lifted her leg against his chest, using her hand to grab a metal hook over the door to steady herself as she lifted her right leg up against his chest.

"I'm all yours, Buck."

Bucky had never seen her do anything hotter; he had somehow forgotten she was this flexible. Grabbing her ass to hold her, his cock slid easily into her slick sex without preparation, causing her to moan in satisfaction. He pounded into her relentlessly as she wrapped her arms around his neck for steadiness, her moans and screams of pleasure driving him crazy. She had multiple orgasms, but he wasn't stopping. His groans and his heated breath against her neck only elevated her pleasure.

Bucky grunted once more before he finally pushed her through one last orgasm, releasing his seed into her as they both came. Desi panted heavily, glad it was all over, but he chuckled as he kept her still.

"We're not done yet, love," he whispered, "until I know you're carrying my child inside you."

Destiny gulped; she was in for a long night.

?!

Destiny watched Nat and Bucky sparring with one another outside the compound, with Steve sitting beside her as she held Asmund in her lap. Steve was coming to visit them more often, which was surprising, but Bucky's words played through her mind. He seemed to have wanted to talk to her, but more than a month had passed, and still, nothing was spoken from the Captain.

"Alright, you two are up." Bucky stated as Natasha pulled herself up. Destiny handed the baby over to her husband when a bright light shot down in front of her, the team tensing when Loki came out.

"Loki?"

"Forgive me, darling." Loki said, taking her hand as they were shot up.

Their son cried when the team realized the tunnel was gone, and Steve and Bucky looked over in concern when they saw Loki and Desi disappear.

"Where the hell are they?" Bucky questioned.

"Maybe Asgard?" Steve questioned.

"You think it was an emergency?" Natasha questioned.

"Something much worse if there was no notice. We'll know something soon." Steve tried to assure him, but Bucky couldn't shake the feeling there was more to it.

Odin had warned his sons and Destiny of Hela, their sister. He was beginning to move their people to their new home in Midgard, but Hela would try to prevent that. Somehow, Hela had found a way to escape her prison and headed for them. Thor, Loki, and Desi had prepared to call Heimdall when a portal opened before them as they prepared to leave. A pale woman with long black hair and a black skintight jumpsuit came out as the portal closed behind her.

"Hela." Odin spoke.

"I see you have gotten older, All-Father; it seems I've returned in time to claim my throne." Hela said with a smug look on her face. "You must be Hela, I'm your brother, Thor. This is Loki, your brother as well."

"You don't look like father." Hela spoke.

"Perhaps we can make some kind of an arrangement." Loki stated.

"You sound like him." Hela pointed out, her eyes lingering over to Destiny. She was trying to keep her calm, but she wasn't immune to this woman; she gave off death, pain, and suffering.

Thor and Loki changed into their Asgard armor, Desi doing the same before Thor threw his hammer at Hella, only for her to catch it and destroy Thor's hammer before them. Loki panicked and called for them to be beamed back to Asgard when Hela jumped in with them. Thor and Loki were somehow knocked out of the tunnel. Desi was ready to follow them when Hela grabbed her, rendering her unconscious.

When Desi had awoken, she was wrapped in a black restrictive-like belt. She was unable to move around without the pain intensifying.

"Well, well, what have we here?"

Destiny tensed up when she looked up and saw Hela approaching her.

"It seems Lady Destiny has awakened. I've learned about you in the short time I've been here," Hela continued, " The daughter of Lady Eir, wife of Loki, and mother of the God of Mischief's child. My, my, how you've been busy." she remained silent, refusing to share anything, and Hela smirked at this.

"I'm Hela, the Goddess of Death. I'm sure not more needs to be explained on that part," Hela spoke, pacing slowly in front of her, "as the eldest of Odin's children, the throne is mine by right. I don't wish to fight my brothers; I merely wish to have them bow to me and accept me as their new ruler. Frigga has left with many of their people, but some have remained. Heimdall has gone into hiding, but I require obedience. My brothers would be more willing to bow to me if they saw you bow to me first."

"And if they don't?"

"They will die before you, leaving your child parentless," Hela told her, "Will you bow to me?"

Destiny didn't need to think twice, "…No."

Hela grabbed Destiny's face, her hands glowing back as Desi felt something invade her body, screaming out in pain as her veins turned black.

"I'll ensure Loki finds your body dead before the throne." Hela told her before she released the healer. Destiny's body glowed white, and Hela watched in shock as she watched her body heal. She panted heavily as she felt the foreign pain leave her body but was scared when she saw the evil smirk on Hela's face. "Well, isn't this a surprise? You're just like your mother, I see," Hela said as she approached her again, "let's try again, shall we?"

Recovering Bruce and encouraging Loki to stay beside him as Loki threatened to run off alone, the men and Valkyrie boarded the ship as Loki boarded a second ship.

"Wait, so, Desi's a mom now?" Bruce asked.

"That's right, she and Loki are married now." Thor answered, a proud smile on his face. "Do you think she is okay right now? Has this Heimdall person told you?" Bruce asked, Valkyrie listening intently as she piloted the ship. He looked at them hesitantly before he closed his eyes.

"Heimdall, how is she?" Thor asked, his eyes glowing gold at the moment. "Are you sure this is something you wish to see? I don't want you making any rash decisions." Heimdall asked. He could spare the moment to allow this. "Yes, please. Show this to Loki…and the humans from Midgard: Steve and Bucky." Thor requested.

"Is that wise?"

"I can't hide this from them. They need to know."

"…Very well."

Steve and Bucky were pacing with Peter, Wanda, Nat, and Lemi playing with Asmund when Steve and Bucky stilled.

Destiny had cast a shield over an Asgard civilian as Hela cast a spear on them. Hela threw her a death glare before Hela shot her hand out to the mortal. Destiny let out a painful scream, black crawling up her body to her face before her body glowed white again, self-healing herself as Hela killed the civilian. The man fell to the floor, the people cowering in fear as most bowed to her.

"Let Lady Destiny go! We submit." One of the men stated, but Hela made no attempt to release her. "Bring me Heimdall's sword, the key! That's all I need, besides your obedience, but if not…." Hela explained before she cast another spell over Destiny. She screamed out in pain once more, tears streaming down her face before her body glowed again as she self-healed.

Desi panted heavily, looking down when she saw her stomach glowing. Desi had closed her eyes, trying to self-heal herself again in her stomach, when she felt something pulse in her body. Desi gasped, her eyes shot open, crying again, "I'm so sorry, little one."

"Damn it!" Bucky swore, running a hand through his hair as he squashed the tumbler nearest him. "What just happened?" Peter asked, the whole room intense when the group saw his reaction. "Destiny's in trouble…" Steve said. "Thor and Loki are nowhere to be found. It's always when she goes to Asgard she's in trouble…damn it!" Bucky yelled as he threw a pillow to the sofa, mindful enough of the kid in the room.

"Is she okay, though?" Nat asked. Bucky looked at Steve, and Steve felt a heavy weight in his chest. "What's happening with my sister?" Lemi asked. "Desi…is pregnant, but she's being tortured also." Bucky told him when Lemi's face hardened, his jaw locking. "You're to bring my sister back. Do you understand me?" he told him. "We need to get to her first…." Peter stated, unsure how they could get there. "Call on Astros," Bucky told him, "He's probably going crazy right now too."

?

Desi wasn't sure how much more she could endure until she heard chaos outside, the double doors wide open when she could faintly see something flying in the air; an aircraft and…was that?

"A-Astros?" Destiny said, tearing up. She didn't want her Pegasus to die because of her. She was further alarmed when the healer saw Hulk appear out of nowhere, dragging the large wolf into the water. Hulk disappeared and fought through the rope as her hands were free, casting a shield over the people as she saw projectiles being shot at them.

Screaming through the pain as she tried to help, she saw Astros land in front of them when she could see a familiar figure through her tears.

"Desi!" Bucky's voice could be heard. She began to cry as she was forced to drop her shield, the feeling of the pain in the air; people were in pain and dying, and she couldn't do anything. "Desi, look at me." She heard his voice call out to her, feeling her head cradled; they worried about her.

"It hurts; please make it stop, James!" She shouted. It wasn't just her pain from the people on the bridge but her own. Desi could feel the foreign poison trying to pierce her baby, and her baby was intense. Still, the mother in her took the poison, creating her never-ending healing cycle.

"I need to tear it off." Bucky suggested. They attempted to pull and tear, but to no avail, the rope only restricting her tighter.

"Mammen!" Desi shouted, her sword coming before her but fell before her. Bucky quickly grabbed it and tore the rope off easily, catching her as she crumbled to her knees. "I've got you." he whispered as he pulled her against him, kissing the top of her head as he clung to her like life itself.

"Our baby, Bucky…the poison won't leave me…" Desi whimpered, worried about their unborn child. Bucky never felt so useless before.

"We'll take you to Tony, and we can figure it out. We need to go back, though." Bucky told her. "No, I can't yet. Thor and Bruce just got here; we need to help them. Asgard…Asgard is in trouble. I-I can't leave these people in pain." Desi told them when suddenly a large shadow hovered over the bridge. The three looked closely when another ship arrived, noticing the familiar figure.

"YOUR SAVIOR IS HERE!" Loki's voice rang, and they looked clearly annoyed. "Let's go." Bucky said as he mounted on Astros, helping Desi up with him before testing his hand over her stomach protectively when Astros took off. Flying towards the fight, they landed. Steve threw his shield as he helped fend off the enemies, and Buck used Mammen to help with the fight.

Out of nowhere, Thor landed in front of them, blasting the enemies away with electricity as the enemies focused on him and the woman in silver-white armor, hearing Hulk roar in the water below them. Desi did her best to help everyone on board, but when Hela approached them, Loki had disappeared, making her concerned.

"Go, go now!" Thor yelled, his eye landing on Hela before she knocked him back. Astros had boarded when Desi was pulled back by Hela's magic. "Thor! Get Destiny!" Bucky was fending off the enemies when Skurge charged past them with his assault rifles. Still, they watched as Thor and Valkyrie defended Destiny as best they could.

Hela knocked back Thor, grabbing Desi and casting a spear directly at Desi's stomach. The spear stopped before it could pierce her, Desi's stomach casting a shield over her stomach as the pain came back up.

"You will die before everyone!" Hela shouted as she slapped her hands on Desi's face, pouring more poison into Desi's body. "NO!" Thor yelled, charging at her when Desi's eyes shot open pure white. Desi mimicked Hela, slapping her hands over Hela's face, her face scrunched in pain as she felt tears pouring down her face.

"You…first, you bitch!" Desi yelled as she forced the poison out of her body and back into the goddess's body, hearing her gasp in pain. Hela tried to fight against her, but she dared not stop as the pain slowly left her. She would not stop until she knew her child was safe, even if it meant killing Hela. The red giant king, Surtur, appeared from the ground, erupting into chaos as Desi released Hela.

"Lady Destiny, we must go!" Thor lifted her onto the horse. They quickly boarded the ship and watched Hela struggle to stand but charged towards the fire king, fighting to the death. With Hulk's help, they were able to get out safely. The Asgardians watched as their home was destroyed before they made their way to their new home. Loki had stayed by Destiny's side, Bucky cradling her as she had finally fainted. Arriving in New Asgard, Heimdall sent them home for Desi's sake. Bucky knew his wife was strong, but one thing was for sure:

He would protect his wife and their child at home from here on out.

?!

Over the next 8 months, Bucky stayed by her side, ensuring she had everything she needed. He helped Loki with his son if it meant she had more time to rest, but she rolled her eyes. At the compound once more, she was assisting with healing when she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. Peter was the first to notice and webbed over to her.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Peter asked, but Destiny shook her head, casting a healing spell on her stomach, when her water broke. "Darn it." she hissed, Bucky running over to her already. "Oh my gosh, do you think maybe you're in labor? Here? Now?" Peter questioned in a panicked tone, clearly freaking out.

"I've got you." Bucky told her, helping her out of the training room. Bucky wasted no time taking her straight to the doctor, helping her onto the table as the doctor helped her undress her bottoms. The team was pacing as they nervously waited. Even when Thor and Loki finally arrived, she was still not out.

For over four hours, the team waited until the doctor finally came out. The team stood up; their nerves elevated as the doctor removed his mask.

"The baby and the mother are wonderful; you're welcome to go in and see them. Please keep your voice down, though; the baby is sleeping."

The team wasted no time going in, surrounding Desi's bed, when they saw the beautiful sight before them. Pepper was taking numerous pictures, but Bucky sat beside her on the bed as Destiny held the baby in her arms. She smiled at them before handing the baby over to Bucky. His eyes softened and were in pure happiness.

"Hey, how are you feeling, Des?" Peter asked.

"Like I just had a baby, I'm sooo tired." Desi admitted, giggling at her predicament. "I can imagine, but you did wonderful." Pepper assured her.

"The main question is, is it a boy or a girl? We must know." Pietro asked.

Bucky smirked, "A boy."

"Traitor." Nat mumbled, making Desi chuckle.

"Do you have a name for him?" Steve asked. Bucky looked at his wife and received a nod from her; that's all he needed. Bucky walked over to Tony, handing him the baby. Tony looked at Bucky and Desi curiously before taking the baby into his arms. Pepper looked down preciously at the baby.

"We named him Jamie Wade-Antonio Barnes." he announced. Tony looked at Desi with a surprised look and a proud smirk, "You mean Tony will be short for Antonio?"

Desi smiled, "But, of course."

"I'm honored, thank you." Tony said, feeling honored for such a moment as this. "I want to hold him next." Sam spoke up, but Tony threw him a look.

"Don't drop him, Big Bird."

"I hate when you call me that."

"Get used to it because this kid will too."

The team amused themself with their newborn; the new mother was starting to feel tired and struggled to stay awake. Bucky took her hand, squeezing her hand. "Why don't you get some rest?" he asked her. "Are you sure?" she asked, but he tenderly kissed the top of her head. "I'll watch over him. Go ahead and rest." Bucky assured her. "Okay, I will. Thank you." Desi said with a yawn before falling asleep.
