FyreDraagyn12 - So Lotus is going to meet Saiki's brother before he would appear in the Canon Timeline, but that won't be for a couple of more chapters. It is definitely going to be after the school festival.

Kitty Cat Romance - Cats Are Such A Hassle

Lotus was currently at Saiki's house having some psychic lessons. But their work was interrupted by loud yowling emanating from outside.

"Hey what's going on outside?"

Saiki let out a groan walking over to the window. "It's him again."

Lotus stepped up next to Saiki glancing out the window. She stopped a familiar red bandanna wearing tabby cat. The cat was in the front yard meowing, his head was tilted upwards as if he was directly calling out to Saiki's window.

"Hey, it's that cat. The one you rescued after he somehow got himself wedged in between two buildings. What's he doing here?" Lotus questioned

"He's been showing up to my house every day meowing nonstop."

"Huh. After what my sister did he must be too scared to even come near our yard." Lotus said

"~Cats are universally adored and worshiped by all mankind. Yet this human boy has not bowed down to me once. I won't tolerate such insolence from such a lowly human. He will submit!~"

"Why are you so mad over something you did? While it's true that most people like cat's there are plenty who don't."

The two psychics watched as Kuniharu walked outside standing over Anpu with a stern face. His tough image was quickly broken as he pulled out a can of tuna from behind his back.

"Is little kitty witty hungwy wungry? Who wants some dindin?"

"Well, that attitude sure doesn't help your case. How are we gonna practice like this?" Lotus said

"I'll handle it."

Saiki was gone within a split second, teleporting out of the room.

"Well, now that Saiki's got this covered. I should get some homework done in the meanwhile."

"Well, that's all of it."

Lotus set down her pencil stretching her back.

"I finished all of my homework but Saiki's still not back. Wonder if he ran into some trouble? How long has it been?"

Lotus glanced at the clock behind her.

"What the-?! Two hours?! I better go check on Saiki."

Lotus teleported outside looking around into Saiki's front yard. She caught no hide nor hair of Saiki, or Anpu.

"Hmm? Where could he be?"

Lotus closed her eyes concentrating with the use of her powers.

"Saiki….where are you…..what the heck, I can't find him? Well if I can't find Saiki, then I'll search for Anpu."

Lotus concentrated again easily locating Anpu. She teleported away in the location of the bandana-wearing cat.

"~Hey! Where'd you get come from!~" Anpu shrieked startled by Lotus's sudden appearance.

"Alright there's Anpu, but where's Saiki-?"

Lotus glanced to her left to see another cat present.

This cat was all white and wore green glasses. Around its neck was a silver-blue collar with Saiki's control antenna sticking out the front.

"Oh...my gosh. What a cute cat! You look like Saiki, did he summon you to help get rid of Anpu?"

Lotus crouched down in front of Saiki.

"Aww, I can't help it. I'm not a big fan of cats but there's something about you that's super appealing."

Lotus couldn't help herself and reached over stroking under Saiki's chin.

Saiki had no time to object as the moment Lotus's fingers graced his chin he fell into bliss. He started purring rather loudly causing Lotus to smile.

"So cute…"

Lotus picked up Saiki cradling him in her arms, continuing to pet him.

"~Hands off you hussy!~"

"Huh?"

Lotus turned around to see a light gray cat with purple hearts decorating its fur. The cat had its back arched and it was hissing rather angrily at Lotus.

"~He's mine! Back off sister!~"

"Huh….what's happening?"

"~You wanna go! Let's fight!~"

The cat continued to yowl and hiss at Lotus, the girl slowly backing up with cat Saiki in her arms.

"What is happening?"

Pushi charged at Lotus claws out, ready to take a swipe at the girl.

Before Lotus could move her surroundings changed.

"Huh? What?"

Lotus looked around seeing she was back in Saiki's room.

"I'm back at Saiki's? But I didn't do this, that….means…."

Lotus slowly looked down at the cat in her arms and the cat was staring right back at her.

As realization started to sink in the girl's face slowly started going red.

"Ah!"

Lotus let out a gasp dropping Saiki. With his cat-like reflexes he easily landed on his feet.

"I-I-I…..I'msosorry!"

Lotus started to frantically apologize, red-faced.

Saiki merely just stared at the girl, tail flicking back and forth.

He really did enjoy those chin scratches.

Lotus was lying face down on the couch which she had been doing ever since she got home and that was the position Violet found her in.

"You okay there Lotus?" Violet asked

"Not really," Lotus said

"Something happen?" Violet asked

"Yeah, I totally embarrassed myself," Lotus said

"Oh!" Violet perked up sitting on the unoccupied space of the couch. "Tell me all about it."

"Don't look so excited about it."

"It's not that often that you get embarrassed, so spill everything. Come on, tell me. Tell me! Tell me!" Violet chanted

Lotus let out a sigh knowing she wasn't going to get out of it. "Fine, alright."

So Lotus proceeded to tell the story of what happened between herself and Saiki when he was a cat.

By the end of the tale Violet was laughing trying to hold back her chuckles with her hand.

"You're not making me feel any better," Lotus said

"Sorry, sorry, but it's quite funny. But I don't think you should feel embarrassed. If anything I bet Saiki quite enjoyed himself," Violet said

Lotus deadpanned staring at her sister.

"Now don't give me that look. Come on look at the clues, you can read his thoughts but you didn't hear a single one while he was a cat did you?" Violet said

"Well, no-"

"And I'm sure if Saiki didn't want to be held, he would have easily stopped you," Violet added

"Yeah, I guess that's true too," Lotus said

"Yup your big sister is always right," Violet said

"Now don't get ahead of yourself."

"So you're saying I shouldn't be embarrassed since Saiki enjoyed being treated like a cat?" Lotus questioned

Violet crossed her arms and nodded her head. "Yup, that's exactly what I'm saying. At the most its Saiki who should be embarrassed not you."

"I can see your point, but I still feel pretty embarrassed," Lotus said

Violet smiled patting Lotus's back. "That's okay. It's normal especially for someone in your situation."

"My situation?" Lotus questioned raising a brow.

Violet let out a slight chuckle before putting a finger over her mouth. "My lips are sealed. That's a little tidbit your gonna have to figure out on your own."

"Okay, you can do this nothing to be embarrassed about."

Lotus steeled her resolve, she adjusted a small box she was holding in her hand before reaching out ringing a doorbell.

Not a moment later Saiki answered the door.

"Saiki, hey." Lotus greeted with a smile followed by an awkward chuckle.

"Hey." Saiki greeted back with far less awkwardness.

"I brought this."

Lotus opened the box she was holding so Saiki could see what was inside.

"It's a Matcha Cake Roll. I was hoping we could have some together and leave the awkwardness behind us.

"You had me at cake roll."

Lotus smiled brightly as Saiki stepped aside allowing Lotus inside.

"Alright let's slice this bad boy up!"

Saiki and Lotus went into the family room, Lotus set the cake down on the table while Saiki brought in tableware. Lotus took her seat at the table and prepared to cut the cake roll but paused when Saiki took a seat right next to her. Not the seat across from her and not the seat adjacent to her, but right next to her.

*DOKI*

With slightly red cheeks and a content smile, Lotus continued to slice the cake.

The two psychics ate in peaceful silence enjoying their cake and alone time.

Saiki and Lotus were only able to enjoy their cake for a few brief moments before their pleasant moment was broken thanks to the racket that was occurring outside. The two pink-haired psychics, as much as they didn't want to, left their cake to check on the noises.

The two deadpanned seeing two cats screeching right outside the fence of Saiki's home.

"~Hey! Where'd you go Sai?! Get your ass out here!~" Anpu hissed

"~You floozie come out! That super macho tomcat is mine!~" Pushi hissed

Both cats were yowling and meowing furiously right outside Saiki's house causing quite the disturbance.

Although, the enraged noises didn't seem to bother Kuniharu, the man walking outside holding two food dishes.

"Hey, there Anpu, Pushi, I brought you two some dindin."

"Now we have two cats."

"I think we should hold lessons at my house for a while."

"Agreed."
