Guest - Sorry my updating is very irregular. I just update when I'm inspired.

Guest - I'm not sure what you mean by two scenes.

Becka-ah - Thank you! Also, I get the part about Valentine's Day and White Day and the point you make is true. In the end, I decided to write it without planning a White Day so the gift exchanges would make more sense in the end.

Derpeon - I have not watched it yet. I've seen clips and the dub kind of throws me off.

Guest - Did I have Lotus meet Kaidou's mother earlier? I'll re-read through it, if you know what chapter it was, that'd be super helpful.

Planning For School Trips Is Such a Hassle - Whose In what Group?

"How about this one!"

"No! No! It's gotta be the teal one! Teal!"

"Oh, how about a white dress!"

"These two…."

Lotus sat at the desk in her room watching Ethan and Violet as the two ran back and forth clothes in their arms. Resting on Lotus's bed was an open suitcase, that was quickly being filled up with clothes.

"I told them I was going to be wearing my school uniform for most of the trip. They're going overboard."

"It's her first big school trip, so she has to look perfect!" Violet said

"What do you think of this!" Ethan held up a white sun hat with a pink bow. "It's gonna be sunny in Okinawa."

"Your such a genius Ethan! Lotus needs to protect her delicate skin from the beautiful yet harsh rays of the Okinawa sun." Violet said

"Oh!" Ethan shuffled out of the room then came back with a pair of sunglasses. "These too!"

"Yes perfect!" Violet said

Sir Henry sat in Lotus's lap resting while Yami was curled up at her feet. The once tortured animal was now freshly groomed, a healthy sheen developing on his dark coat. He also now had a dark gray collar around his neck, with a silver tag attached displaying his name and the address of his new family.

"~Is this normal for them?~" Yami questions

"~They're actually quite tame at the present moment,~" Sir Henry stated

"Yeah, wait till its time for me to actually go," Lotus said

"~When is this trip?~" Yami asked

"In a week," Lotus said

Yami sighed resting his head on his paws.

When Lotus arrived at school she was not expecting the story Saiki had told her.

"Soooo let me see if I got this right. Both Chiyo and Teruhashi have a crush on you, but if they found out they'd be pestering you nonstop to win your affection. So in order to prevent that you made Chiyo believe Teruhashi had a crush on Nendou, while simultaneously making Teruhashi believe she had a crush on Kaidou."

Saiki nodded his head. "That about sums it up."

"Geeze I leave you alone for one afternoon and you get into such a tangled web," Lotus said

"You being there might have caused even more drama," Saiki said

Lotus crossed her arms. "If I didn't know you I'd take that as an insult. But that is correct. Teruhashi still sees me as a rival, I don't need to add Chiyo into the mix. I really don't want to be involved in some kind of weird love triangle. Well, it would be a love square in this case."

Saiki internally sighed. "How troublesome."

He looked to Lotus, the girl caught in her own thoughts. He really didn't need both Chiyo and Teruhashi bothering him, besides….he had Lotus.

"Hmm, something wrong Saiki?" Lotus asked coming out her thoughts.

"Nope." Saiki adjusted his glasses looking away from the girl.

As the week trailed on a buzz of excitement started filling the air. Everyone was anxious and excited about the upcoming school trip. Plans were already being made and groups were starting to form.

Saiki did not see the appeal to the trip as he could travel to and from Okinawa in less than 3 minutes.

Currently, there was only one pink-haired student in the room. Lotus was going to be late today due to a dentist appointment she had. This also meant Saiki had no buffer between himself and his classmates.

Hairo had already come to him informing the psychic of the groups that were formed. Saiki did not care who he ended up with, which meant he would be put with the leftovers, which so happened to be Nendou and Kaidou.

The groups had to be 3 girls and 3 boys, Saiki's group already had the 3 boys so that meant….

Saiki wanted to groan as he glanced at the classroom doors to see Chiyo and Teruhashi peeking in.

Who knew choosing groups was going to be so troublesome.

Due to all the commotion caused by guys who wanted Teruhashi in their group, they left Hairo with no other choice.

"The boy and girl match ups are going to be a random drawing," Hairo announced to the class presenting a box. "Teruhashi your up first."

Teruhashi stood up from her desk with a determined look.

"~Aw, this stinks I have to depend on blind luck. Then again God does adore me. A one in six chance tipped in my favor isn't too much to ask. Just gotta use those puppy dog eyes. Please let me pick Saiki. I got this in the bag.~"

As Teruhashi reached into the box, only Saiki could see that she was about to grab the paper with his groups' name written on it.

"Truly frightening how she always gets what she wants. To bad for her though, puppy dog eyes don't work on me."

For a brief moment, a pair of pink eyes flashed through Saiki's mind, but he quickly shook away the thought focusing on switching Teruhashi's pick.

"This one!" Teruhashi shouted, pulling out her paper.

Hairo took the paper reading it off.

"So then Teruhashi's group is in Takahashi's group."

The mood of the room went from 100 to 0, the only people now happy was Takahashi's group, the three guys now sporting smirks, smug at the results.

"From now on if you wanna talk to Teruhashi you have to go through us," Takahashi said

Teruhashi's head sagged along with her shoulders, her hair covered her eyes as a dark gloomy aura wafted over her.

She wasn't the only one in that depressive state, Chiyo too felt the crushing despair looking just like Teruhashi.

"I guess we could just play board games or something," Teruhashi lamented

"Yeah I'll bring Uno with me," Chiyo responded depressed

"Okay, we know what guys Teruhashi's group is going with what about the rest of the girls? Shall we keep drawing names." Hairo questioned holding up the box.

Hairo started to sweatdrop as all the males in the room showed no interest whatsoever, now that Teruhashi was picked.

"Talk about a drop in enthusiasm," Hairo said

A group of girls stepped up going to draw.

"Nendou's group? EW! Can we like pick again or something, this totes suck. It ruins the whole trip for us." One of the girls spoke holding up her paper.

"That's kind of harsh."

"I know it's Nendou but that's being hard."

"I don't care who we end up with as long as it isn't Teruhashi-"

"I volunteer to switch with them," Teruhashi spoke, raising her hand.

"EEEHHH!"

Takahashi's group was instantly thrown into shock and distress at the declaration.

"Dammit."

"If Nendou and the other two don't mind," Teruhashi said

"~This worked out perfectly! Normally joining Nendou's group would be strange but….~"

"It's obvious she is sticking up for Nendou."

"What a sacrifice!"

"Teruhashi you're a benevolent goddess!"

Teruhashi's eyes narrowed slightly with a cunning gleam to them.

"~This not only makes sense but it makes me more likable!~"

"Let's have fun together!" Teruhashi smiled bowing to Saiki's group with Chiyo.

"God loves her too much."

"Sorry, I'm late!"

Everyone looked to the classroom doors seeing Lotus entering the room.

"~ It's her!~"

"~Lady Lotus!~"

"~The room just got so much brighter!~"

Lotus kept a straight face as dozens of her classmates' thoughts went through her head.

"Lady?"

Teruhashi sat in her seat with a smug smile. "~This battle is mine, rival. I'm the one who got paired with Saiki, plus that stunt I just pulled only made me more popular. Hehe as the perfect girl everything goes my way.~"

"Geeze…."

"Lotus, hey!" Hairo greeted "Your just in time. We're picking what groups the boys and girls will be paired with using a drawing."

"Ah, then I did arrive at the perfect time. Well since I wasn't here I imagine I was just put in a group, which one am I in?" Lotus asked

Hairo held up a clipped board, "Let me see…"

His eyes skimmed down the page of names, but he wasn't able to find Lotus's.

". . . .Oh, crap! Your names not one here!" Hairo exclaimed

"What!" Lotus said

Hairo banged his head against the clipboard, "How could this have happened!"

"I was forgotten...that kind of stings. But then again it's not like I hang out with any of the girls in my class so why would they pick me?"

"Ah, I see…." Lotus mumbled

"Since I wasn't here this morning it makes even more sense why I wasn't put in a group."

"With Lotus now here we're going to have to reform into different groups," Hairo announced

Before a single groan or voice of disapproval could leave anyone's mouth Lotus raised her hand.

"Hold on Hairo. I don't think that'd be fair," Lotus said

"Huh?" Hairo questioned

"I mean everyone went through all the trouble of finding groups and then suddenly I walk in and change everything that seems kind of unfair to the others," Lotus said

"~She's so considerate!~"

"~How thoughtful!~"

"~Cool and kind!~"

Teruhashi blinked looking around the room.

"~S-She's pulling in so much focus! How is she turning around the mood of the room so quickly!~" Teruhashi thought

"I see what you mean. Maybe we can add you to a group? One group with a group of four girls and three boys. Let me just ask the teacher," Hairo said before stepping out of the room.

All the guys started chattering about in the room the excitement and enthusiasm once again starting to return anticipating who'd get the chance to have Lotus in their group.

Teruhashi clenched her fist underneath her desk. "~No, no, no, how are they getting so excited over a girl who isn't me? They're acting just like-" Teruhashi shook her head, "-no! There's no way they're more eager to have her than me! I'm the perfect girl!"

"She's really struggling there huh?"

"You always seem to do that to Teruhashi."

A moment later Hairo came back in the classroom.

"Alright good news. The teacher said it was fine. So we'll just do another drawing to see what group you'll be in," Hairo said

"Okay!" Lotus said

All of the boys were on the edge of their seat, they looked even more excited than when Teruhashi was picking.

"~This is terrible! If my rival joins my group all my plans will be ruined! No! God loves me, he adores me! Please keep my rival out of my group!~"

"God may love Teruhashi, but when Lotus is added in the equation…."

"Got one." Lotus pulled out a paper showing it to the class.

"Nendou's group!"

Teruhashi shot up from her seat hands slamming on her desk. "Noooo-"

As she saw all eyes on her Teruhashi quickly switched up her words.

"-Ooo way. That's so exciting, another girl."

Teruhashi gave a bright smile but if anyone paid close attention they would see a slight twitch at the corner of her lips.

"Man Nendou's group is so lucky!"

"I'm jealous."

"Yeah so not fair they get the prettiest and hottest girls in school."

Teruhashi's brow twitched.

"~No way! She can't be on the same level as me! No way! They use the word hot for her but it doesn't mean she's perfect like me! But then why-!?~"

Inside Teruhashi's mind she was imagining a sea of people and in the middle was herself standing on a pillar high above others. There was a large spotlight shining above her illuminating her. Suddenly a second pillar arose next to her and on it was Lotus smiling and waving.

Back in the real world, Teruhashi was once again in a miserable state, head down shoulders sagged, acting as if her world was crumbling around her.

Saiki, however, seemed to be in the opposite mood. He had his elbows resting on his desk, hands folded covering his mouth, hiding his small smirk.

"Teruhashi always has the luck of the draw but throw Lotus in and it's a wild card."

"~No! As the most perfect girl in the entire world, no, the entire universe-~"

"That's a bit much."

"~I can not, will not lose! I'll use this trip to not only show Saiki, but everyone, that I'm the most perfect girl!~"

Teruhashi had her hands in a fist on her desk with a determined gleam in her eye directing her stare right to Lotus.

Lotus awkwardly smiled, a sweatdrop going down her head.

"Man all I wanted was a nice simple trip. She's all fired up for a competition she set in her own head."

Lotus sighed shoulders sagging a bit, she looked up meeting eyes with Saiki.

"Well...at least I get to hang out with Saiki."

A small smile came to her lips along with a small tint to her cheeks.

Saiki and Lotus were walking home together discussing the events of today when Lotus brought something rather interesting up.

"Actually at first Mera wasn't able to come," Lotus said

"What?"

"Well, it happened when I was walking to class."

Flashback

Lotus was speed walking down the hallway trying her best to get to class, as she hurried down the hallway she passed by the teacher.

"Oh, dear…" The teacher mumbled

Lotus paused in her steps turning around.

"~Poor Mera~"

"Mera?"

Lotus fully turned around to see her teacher wearing a frown.

"Excuse me Sensei? Something wrong?" Lotus asked

"Oh, Miss Yamaguchi, can I help you with something?" The teacher asked

"No, but, are you okay? It looks like something is bothering you," Lotus said

"Oh, no, I mean, something unfortunate happened in regards to the school trip," The teacher said

"What?" Lotus asked

"Unfortunately Mera can't go on the trip."

"What! Really," Lotus said

The teacher nodded her head. "Yes, unfortunately, she wasn't able to raise the money she needed in order to attend. Now I need to go inform the class. Oh, that poor girl, and I knew how much she wanted to go too."

The teacher turned about to make her way to class.

"Wait!" Lotus called out. "I'll pay for the rest of Mera's trip!"

"Huh?"

"I'll pay," Lotus said

"Oh, Miss Yamaguchi, that's so sweet, but we couldn't ask you-"

"You're not asking, I'm offering. The trip itself wasn't too much and I know my family will be happy to give the money." Lotus said

"Well…"

"We can give it to Mera as an anonymous donation. Please if I can help Mera go on this trip then I want to help. I'll even call my family, so we can confirm with them too," Lotus said

The teacher wore a contemplative look before smiling and nodding her head. "Alright, we can do that, as long as your family agrees. Thank you, Yamaguchi, I'm sure Mera will be so happy to hear this."

Flashback Over

"So I just called my sister, and we had Mera's plane ticket booked within a few short minutes."

"How much money does your family have?"

Lotus chuckled. "Anyway, Mera can now go and hey you've got me to be a buffer in your group if you wanna sneak away." She joked giving Saiki a wink.

Saiki adjusted his glasses as various thoughts about the trip entered his head. He had something special truly planned, and maybe he'd bring Lotus along with him.

Saiki was at home enjoying his dinner, well he was trying, but his father wouldn't stop talking.

"So your school trip is next week huh? You'll have Kaidou and Nendou with you so they'll be no cause of concern," Kuniharu said

"They're the definition of concern."

"Two nights huh? Try not to use your powers in your sleep." Kuniharu said

"Don't worry I won't."

"Are you sure. Remember how you used to do that all the time up until the fourth grade." Kurumi said

"Then we had to clean up after your late-night accidents," Kuniharu added

"You make it sound like I wet the bed."

Kuniharu suddenly got a cheeky smile that greatly irritated his son.

"Also, your girlfriends' gonna be with you too. I remember being that age, now I don't wanna get a call from school about you and her getting into some funny bu-!"

Kuniharu stopped talking seeing his son's expression, the psychic now sporting a rather heated glare.

"Don't compare me to you."

*DING DONG*

Kuniharu was saved from the wrath of his son when the doorbell rang.

"Huh? I wonder who that could be?" Kurumi questioned aloud

Saiki stood up. "I'll get it."

As he approached the door, Saiki sighed.

"Good grief."

The door opened and Saiki was met with Teruhashi, not the one from his class, but the older brother of his classmate.

"Are you going on a vacation with Kokomi and my future wife!" Makoto shouted

Saiki looked away, keeping Makoto out of his eyesight. "Teruhashi's older brother Makoto."

"Hey! What are you looking at!" Makoto exclaimed stepping closer to Saiki.

"He may be a top star, but he's also a top perv, so I don't want to talk to him."

"Answer me!" Makoto shouted grabbing Saiki by the front of his shirt. "I want to know why you're taking my sister and wife on a three day, two day, trip!"

"It's a school trip."

"She's only in the 11th grade!"

"Hence the school trip. Plus Lotus is in the same grade, too young to be your wife."

Makoto tugged on Saiki forcing the psychic to follow him outside.

"Are there going to be a lot of other guys there too?!"

"School trip."

"What do you plan on doing to my poor girls you pervy four-eyed freak!" Makoto said

"You're the perv."

"Shut up! Stop trying to mess with me!" Makoto said

"You're the one messing with me."

"Fine if you guys insist on going-" Makoto reached into his shirt pocket pulling out an envelope. "-then I'm going too!"

Makoto threw his head back in laughter.

"It's too bad for you four-eyes! I bet you were going to spy on them while they were bathing but now that I'll be chaperoning you won't get the chance!"

"I had no such plans."

"You can't fool me! I know you were planning on sneaking into the girl's room late at night and then when the teacher patrolling comes by you'll hide under the covers in between Kokomi and my wife!" Makoto said

"Why are they sharing the same bed?"

"But with my presence there you are out of luck," Makoto smirked tucking away his plane ticket.

"That was a little too detailed."

"I'm going even if it means skipping out on my appearances on shows next week!" Makoto said

"TV Tokyo won't like that."

Makoto pulled out a second envelope. "I even got a honeymoon suite booked just for me and my wife, so you'll grubby paws won't get anywhere near my pink-haired goddess!"

"Are you trying to win some kind of pervert award?"

Makoto started to laugh with a crazed look in his eyes, and there was a bit of drool leaking from the side of his mouth.

"Hey!"

Saiki and Makoto looked to Lotus's house to see Violet sticking her upper body out the second-floor window.

"What's with all the yelling? It's night time now! Be respectful of the others who-!"

Violet paused and her eyes narrowed in on Makoto.

"Pretty boy." She hissed

Violet went back inside slamming the window close.

Makoto raised a confused brow. "That was odd. Maybe another one of my fans. Guess I better get ready for an autograph."

"You should get ready to run."

*BAM*

"Pretty boy!"

Violet kicked the front door open, raised above her head she was brandishing a weapon. The closest thing she could grab at the time was a coat rack.

"Get over here pretty boy! You're the one who's been stepping into the territory known as my little sister! Well, I'm border patrol and it's time for you to pay up! When I'm done with you that face ain't gonna be so pretty!"

"Ahhhh!"

Makoto took off down the street Violet running right after him.

"I'd be lying if I didn't say that was amusing."

Saiki held a small smirk as he held up an envelope, the one Makoto was holding when he was ranting about him and his "wife's" special plans. Saiki tore the envelope in half, getting a rather satisfying feeling as the torn paper fluttered to the ground.
