The sun has started to rise over the valley, a crisp breeze is felt as a pair of curtain sway very slowly in a room, where a young man is turning in his sleep before jumping out of his bed screaming. Charlie looks around his new room, trying to calm himself down hiding his head in between his hands crying.
"It just keep getting worse, it never goes away..." he said to himself as he looked up to the ceiling... as he sits up from the bed he noticed the door was closed, "Sigh I must've closed it. " Charlie looked around and noticed his bed was empty, "It be nice to have company with me no sense locking me from them... speaking of locking I guess its time for me to eat." Charlie rolled out of the bed and headed to the bathroom to do his business. As he came out of the bedroom, the pups were all still sleeping, some of them cuddle up with one another, "Awww thats cute." He said to himself as he stepped over some of the puppies. However one puppy was wide awake, well sort of, he had a very interesting pattern his face had a ying yang like pattern, while halfway through his body also had a ting yang symbol pattern, along with a yimg yang medallion, he was sitting with his legs crossed, and has his paws in a guru stance almost like he was meditating Charlie noticed this and got down to his level. As if he was disturbed, the pup opened an eye to see Charlie staring with confusion.
"Ah, the human." He said with a very calm and peaceful voice.
"Uhh hi... I couldn't help but noticed that your up." Charlie said as he look on confusion.
"And judging by your appearance, you seem confused and want to ask me why I'm up." The pup said which left Charlie stunned.
"Yeeeeeeeeeeees... how did you know that?"
"I can tell by your aura."
"My aura?" Charlie asked in confusion.
"Yes your aura it's like your soul." The pup explained, "Where are my manners, I'm Deepak." He said as he held out his paw.
"Charlie." He said as he shook Deepaks paw.
"Nice to meet you Charlie... it seems that your heading for the kitchen." Deepak said as he closed his eyes.
"Yep you want something?"
"No thank you." Deepak said as he took a breather and went back into concentration which Charlie just shrugged as he walked by him. As Charlie left, Deepak opened his eyes worried.
"Somthings bothering him I can feel his pain." He said to himself as he continued to meditate. As Charlie heads to the kitchen, his tummy grumbled as he looked around the pantry to see waht he could eat, when an idea poped into his head.
"You know what I'm gonna have pancakes." Charlie said to himself as he pulled out his phone to fine a recipe for plain pancakes, as time went on, the batter was almost complete, Charlie smiled at his work as he turned on the stove, "Oh these are gonna be the best pancakes ever." Charlie said with excitement as he placed the batter onto the stove, sizzling and baking away, along with sweet smell that they produced, as the smell moved like a hypnotic cloud three pups were cuddled up together sleeping, they had gold numbered chains around there necks, theses were the Dimitris Trio, simply there names are Dimitris one, two, and three (there gold chains had the number of there name). As they slept the smell started to form a cartoonish cloud and got Dimitri One's nose attention. The strange smell of deliciousness has gotten into the brain of D1 as he followed the smell back into the kitchen only for him to hit himself against a wall, waking him up instantly.
"Ohhh what is that delicious smell." He said groggily as he his eyes slowly opened to see a mountain of pancakes, the sight completely woke him up with anticipation... the beautiful sight of fluffy pancakes, stacked high on top of each other was more than enough to drive him over the edge and get them... but only one problem, theres a human, standing in his way of glorious food. Having seen enough he ran back to his sleeping brothers, "Bro, Bro Wake up." He said as he pushed and tugged on his brothers who started to groan.
"Not right now, mom five more minutes." D2 said in his sleep.
"Yeah." D3 agreed as he rolled over.
"Oh Come on guys wake up!" D1 yelled and with all his strength, he pushed D2 over which he landed with a thud, causing him to wake up...
"OW dude..." Before he could finish, D1 shushed him, and waved for him to follow, already really angry that his brother woke him, followed him to the edge of the kitchen where he was stopped.
"Smell dude, smell..." D2 rolled his eyes and started to sniff the air, the sweet succulent smell hit his nose and he started to get excited.
"Where's it coming from?"
"There." D1 pointed to Charlie who was putting butter in between the fluffy pancakes D2 started to lick his chops.
"We gotta get those." He said as they snuck away.
"But how?" D1 asked as they looked around hoping to find something to use... what they found was a fork and some string.
"I have an idea, but first we need to get our other bro." D2 said as they both ran to get D3. Charlie had finally prepared his pancakes and was ready to dig in, that is until another fork came and hit the first pan cake, flying off and heading out of the kitchen. Charlie was completely stunned, along with a very confused face, it was until the same fork came back and struck another pancake. Charlie, who is now curious on who is taking his pancakes, lean up to see the Dimitri Trio pulling the pancake to there own plate.
"Ohhhh so thats the game were playing eh?" He said to himself as he looked around for something to use, he found a pot holder that looked exactly like a pancake and placed it on top of his breakfast, and right on cue the fork came and took the fake pancake. Charlie had a grin on his face, until the fake pancake came back back smacking him straight in the face, as he pulled it off he noticed bite marks on it.
[Charlie's thoughts]
'Why those little...'
Charlie's thoughts were interrupted as the fork came back but this time he was ready, before the fork hitted its target, Charlie pushed himself and his pancakes out of the way so that the fork flew by him only to hit a bottle on a shelf above the stove which spilled its contents all over the burning stove.
"Hey you three watch where you..." Charlie was saying before looking at the cooked content, he grabbed the bottle from the shelf and read what it was... it was Rubber Cement. Charlie peeled the cement off of the stove to inspect it, he stretched it, bit it, and stretched it even more, once he found out how stretchy and strong it was an evil smile came to his face as he looked back over to the already being attacked pancakes, "This will show them." He said quietly as he hid his pancakes and replace them with the rubber pancake, which on cue was caught by the fork, "Ah Hah!!" He yelled out, grabbing the fake pancake and held onto it... the pups got there end but realized it was being pulled back.
"QUICK!!!"
"GRAB IT!!!" D1 and D2 said as the trio grabbed it with there teeths pulling with all there might, only for Charlie to let go of his end which snapped back to the pups causing them to be thrown back with the rubber pancake in there mouth, "Ow!!! Hey We DID IT!!" D2 yelled with excitement.
"Oh boy we hit the mother load." D1 said with excitement as well, unaware of Charlie laughing under his breath as he watched on. The pups started to sink there teeth into the pancake but something was different about this pancake... very different there teeths kept bouncing off the food, they tried tearing, pulling but nothing seems to work.
"This is some strong pancake." D2 said as he tugged.
"Yeah." D3 said in agreement as he tried to sink his teeths into the pancake.
"No pancake is gonna get the best of me!" D1 yelled and started to yank the pancake, the other two watched and nodded to each other and started to do the same, this pancake was unbelievable, it just keeps stretching and stretching and stretching... D1 was all the way to the couch in the living room, D2 was at the back wall in the main hallway, and D3 was backing up into the kitchen where Charlie watched on with a smile. Then an sinister idea popped into his head, he grabbed a fork and laid down behind D3 aiming it right at his butt, as soon as D3 hit the cold pointed end of the fork he yelped loudly... causing the pancake to fly out of his mouth, next was a domino effect, once D3 let go, D2 started to slide down the main hallway and was thrown into the door, D1 on the other felt the entire pancake get very loose at the other ends and saw the other end hurling its way back, but at no time to react as the pancake folded in on itself, and pushed D1 back only to be launched back like a spring. Charlie was laughing and didn't see the flying pancake, unfortunate he did see it was as soon as he opened his eyes, which by then was literally at eye level. The pancake had enough velocity and force that when it smacked into Charlie's face it was able to send him flying out of his chair. The Dimitri trio looked on as they laughed at the destruction that Charlie did only for him to charge at them.
"Why you little... when I Get my Hands on you!!!!" He yelled as he sprinted after them which the trio split in different directions. As they ducked and weaved from Charlie they were able to return to the kitchen, grabbing the rubber pancake and tried to run upstairs.. unfortunately, Charlie was able to grab onto the other end and started to pull, pull with all his might, now the pups were clearly no match for Charlie as they started to slide around, being tugged and thrown all over the until finally, Charlie had them in his hands, "Now I got you..." He said before smiling at his capture, "Well aren't you three just troublemakers." He laughed as he patted D3's head.
"Uh oh." D2 said quietly.
"He petted his head." D1 pointed out which Charlie looked on with confusion only to feel teeth digging into his hand. Poor Charlie screamed as he threw the Dimitris into the air, which they all landed on there feets.
"Quick grab what you can and go!" D1 yelled as they were about to pounce onto the pancakes but before they could try Charlie snatched them up again and held put them on the floor in front of them.
"Finally caught you three..." Charlie said with anger, the three pups looked at him with sadness, "Well since you three ruined my breakfast what do you have to say for yourselves?" Charlie angrily said as he looked down at his captured prey, silence, complete silence, "Well?" Charlie with annoyance of no answer.
"S-sorry." D1 finally said.
"Yeah what he said."
"Ditto." D2 and D3 followed behind with sadness, being yelled at by a human really sucks, sure the Dimitri Trio have always gotten into trouble, and always beened yelled at by everyone, but this is completely different, and alot more gripping than before. After a while Charlie sighed and looked at the sadden pups, grabbing three plates for them and placing a pancake each on them.
"Here you three." Charlie held out the three plates, which shocked the trio.
"Your still giving us your breakfast?"
"Even after all the trouble we gave you?"
"Yeah." The trio asked which Charlie smiled.
"If you all wanted some, all you had to do was asked." Charlie smiled as the three pups digged into the pancakes.
"Mmmmmmm this taste so good." D1 gleemed with joy.
"Charlie's cool in my book so far." D2 said with his mouth full, as did D3 who simply nodded his head.
"Well I'm glad you guys are happy." Charlie said as he turned to look outside.
"Thanks Charlie, you know what your not bad." D1 said to him.
"Yeah what he said."
"Mmmhmm." D2 and D3 agreed with D1.
"Thanks guys, I just hope that a certain Dalmatian could accept me." Charlie said as he looked down on the table.
"You mean Dolly... don't worry dude, she will come around... just she's more tougher to crack." D1 explained to Charlie who only frowned.
"So she might never accept me." He said.
"Yep but your pretty cool in my book, plus now that we have a new toy I can't wait to play tug of war again." D1 said with a grin.
"Oh you like to play tug of war?" Charlie asked.
"Heck yeah its my favorite thing to do, plus you were super strong I would love to challenge you." D1 said while Charlie scratched his chin.
"You know what D1 your on." Charlie said as he and the Dimitris laughed while eating, so far this seems like it will be a good day.
