CHAPTER II ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John just walked through the front door of his apartment.
John: FUCK MY LIFE!! Of course! OF FUCKING COURSE!
Neighbor banging on the wall: HEY, SHIT UP KID! HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN QUIETLY LIKE US ADULTS!
The neighbors yelling startles John.
John: Sorry sir!
John: *inhale and exhale*
John: Note to self, NEVER MAKE SAY "I DON'T HAVE A ABILITY" EVRE AGAIN.
During John's fight after he fought off the two low-tiers. Four other groups of students came to pick a fight with him. Lucky none of them was really all that, he had only activated his ability twice and it was mainly when someone tried something stupid or he was gonna be late for his next class.
John: (inner thought) Well now what do I do? Do I just stay home for the night or do I just go out on patrol to look for any Heartless running around? Maybe I'll find a Nobody if I do. Besides, I didn't get any real homework for the day.
John thought to himself before deciding to just stay home.
John: (inner thought) I'll just stay home for the night again. I'm still trying to find where everything is in this town anyway. See what you can in the day then navigate the night. I really don't want people of my world finding out about the Heartless.
He then proceeded to the bathroom to take a shower, then eat. After he walks over to his bed but before getting in he decides to pull out a large silver colored suitcase and opens it. Taking a deep breath he looks at the contents of the case.
Inside the case was a black cape with a single mostly black and gold shoulder pad. Wrapped in a loose rubber band were a stack of photos. Last are a pair of black elbow length gloves with small engines built into them. John looks at them all with a smile on his face but also with sadness in his eyes.
John: Well that's it for reminiscing, time for bed!
DREAM SEQUENCE FLASHBACK
During a rainy night six individuals stand in a large courtyard in front of an even larger skyscraper building with many others running towards them with both joy and sad expressions on their faces. When the large group of people reach the six, one of the five speaks. He looks to be in his early to mid thirties,with black also wearing all black attire with black cape and shoulder pad.
(The same black cape and shoulder pad John had in the silver suitcase.)
???: It's finally over, everyone!
The man said with a slight smile.
???: This has been a long journey. We've fought many enemies and occasionally each other. We've laughed, we've cried our eyes out, we've also done things we're going to regret both before… and after joining forces. But that's what brought us here and now it's up to you all to keep the worlds balanced, to protect the realm of light. I look forward to hearing your stories when we meet again… in the Final World.
Before the man was about to leave he walked up to John ready to say one last thing.
???: John, when I first met you a little over a year ago. You were bitter and angry at your world and everyone in it and when you found out about other worlds although you tried to deny it, you were angry at all worlds in the realm of light.
John: I know
???: Your heart is strong with the darkness. It's as clear as day when you summon your Keyblade.
John: I know, I'm sor-
John was cut off by the man in black.
???: But over the time we've been training and traveling together you were able to do something that very VERY few Keyblade wielders have been able to do.
???: Using the darkness without succumbing to it and the light within your heart has been growing stronger each passing day.
John: It has!?
???: Yeah kid! Remember when I told you about that third road?
John: Umm… I think so. You called it the road of dawn right?
???: That's right, looks like I've taught you well!
???: From what I know there's only two Keyblade wielders that walk that road right now and I think that same road is perfect for you.
???: You using your darkness to protect the light is one of the reasons. The other reason is because one of the two I just mentioned actually did fall to darkness once.
???: He hurt a lot of people, even his friends. You get what I mean right?
John nodded in agreement.
John: Yeah, I got it!
John: I'll do better, I promise!
John: You wait I'll be someone you'll want to brag about constantly!
John: Remember that Master!
???: I can't wait.
John's Master then summons his own Keyblade. An almost katana like glowing blade with the back looking like the back of a spinal cord. The bit of the key has what looks like a sun that glows like the blade. The hilt looks like upward sitting silver wings. The keychain at the bottom are black crowns joined together like a regular chain with a silver skull wearing a glow crown.
???: John I don't need this for where I'm going, I want you to take it with you.
John: What!?
???: Please take care of it and use it wisely. It will help you and protect you in turn.
John obtained his Master's Keyblade, it's called "Watching Their Back".
John's Master then walks away to the staircase leading to the skyscraper and faces everyone.
???: WALK TALL, MY FRIENDS AND MY YOUR HEARTS BE YOUR GUIDING KEY!!!
Everyone there then bows in respect of their friend/mentor with tears in their eyes.
END DREAM SEQUENCE FLASHBACK
John wakes up from his dream with the sound of the alarm on his phone and gets out of bed.
John: Another dream about the past.
He then summons his Master's Keyblade and smiles well looking at it. He then proceeds to get dressed and heads out the door.
John: I'm gonna make sure you won't have to worry about me Master. Then we can fight for real when we meet again.
John then proceeds to walk to school but halfway to the school building he senses something familiar, something dark.
John: Okay, that is a LOT of darkness can't leave that alone. It's probably a boss level Heartless.
John: Damn it I really didn't want to be late on my second day here.
He then proceeds to run in the direction of what he senses and eventually catches up to where he's sensing a darkness from a large abandoned theater hall. John walks up to the front door and is surprised to find it locked.
John: (Inner thought) Why's the door locked? There's gotta be another way in here, I'm pretty sure I sensed that Heartless running around outside.
John then realized something he forgot he could do.
John: Damnit! I can't believe I forgot I could do this again!
He summons his Keyblade and points it at the door. A small beam of light came from the Keyblade; the chains on the door fell and the door itself opened.
John: Man I have to stop forgetting this.
He said as he walked in the building. John quickly looks around; he can sense the Heartless but he can't see it. As he continues looking for the Heartless something moves across the ceiling at great speeds.
Zipping the interior of the building. When it looks like John was about to drop his guard the Heartless rushes to John's back ready to attack but at the last second John blocks the attack with his Master's Keyblade with a cocky smile on his face.
John: Aw, you think you're cute trying to sneak up on me. But I'm just faster than you.
A second Heartless suddenly came out of nowhere trying to attack John but failed as John was able to block that one using his own Keyblade.
John: I'm faster than you too.
John: Well let's get started!
In a big burst of light magic John was able to push the two back. He now has a good look at the Heartless. They are both the same height standing at about seven feet tall and look like wolves standing on two legs. They both bear the Heartless emblem on their chest. They as well have other heads but they're there where their hands should be.
John: This is going to be an annoying fight.
ELSEWHERE AT Wellston High School
Teacher: Has anyone seen John? It's only the second day he can just be late.
The class all answered "No" in almost complete unison.
CUTBACK to John
John is blocking every attack the duo throws at him. This goes on for about two minutes now John is visibly annoyed. He unleashes another big burst of light magic to give himself some space but to also separate and stun the Heartless as well.
He doesn't want to give them time to recover so John proceeds to rush one of them and with a series of combos. John then pores light into one Keyblade and darkness into the other.
John: TWILIGHT RUSH!
The Heartless is now weakened and John was about to make the final blow until the second Heartless intervenes and rescues its comrade by pulling it away.
John: Are you kidding me right now!
John now decides to activate his ability "Aura Manipulation" and stares at the two getting even more annoyed.
John: GRAVITY
The two wolf Heartless are now pinned to the floor.
John: Now, FLARE
In a burst of fire the two Heartless and half of the wall behind them are no more as the hearts are now released.
John: It's about damn time! I'm late for sure now!
John stops his ranting when he starts to hear sirens in the distance.
John: Crap!
He opens a Corridor of Darkness and runs towards it to escape.
John: Okay glad I got out of that before the authorities got there. Now I can finally get to scho-
John: Oh no
John looks around to his horror to find himself back in his apartment. He looks at the time on his phone.
John: Whatever I don't care anymore I can still make it just on time for the second period.
RING*RING*RING*
John reached for his phone only to realize it was his Gummiphone that's ringing. He answers it and is a little surprised to see who it is.
John: Master Yen Sid!?
