Hey everyone, regarding my lack of posting for the past few months, there was kind of just too much for me to put at the end of a chapter so I have a whole separate chapter to put it in. I'll put a TL;DR at the bottom. Okay, deep breath, here goes.

Regarding a few issues, some of you have tried to DM me to see if I was okay, and I appreciate the thought. I just don't answer those anymore, just a matter of principle. If you want to ask a question, ask in the comments of this story and I'll answer it next chapter.

One of those DMs asked if I was aware if "Minori" was actually the Hat Sister.

Yes, I'm aware, that just wasn't public information at the time. So I took liberties and decided which one was Minori, and gave the rest names of my own.

Am I going to finish the Story?

Yes! 100%! I hate reading fanfics and then seeing they haven't been updated in a few years. It's a reader's hell to be sure.

So where have I been?

That's the real doozy of an answer. Truth is, I got burned out, I tried to stay up with the story, keeping my monthly update. But I started releasing chapters later and later, until I kind of just stopped. I even started dreading getting on to write out an apology for my tardiness.

If any of you are interested in writing your own fanfics, one of my bigger bits of advice would be: start short! Get used to the feeling of accomplishment of finishing a story before starting the next one.

Another thing was that I was kind of writing this story for myself. There wasn't a ton of fanfics regarding Mao Mao's sisters, and they were one of the aspects I wanted to delve into more when the show was airing. So this fanfic is really just a fan service for myself. How would the sisters interact with the townsfolk, how would Mao Mao feel about their presence? It's all kind of how I felt these questions would be answered.

I also just had actual life stuff happening that required more attention, and I don't see some of it going away for a while.

Early on, someone actually caught a little Easter Egg I slipped in and asked if I had more stories planned for Mao Mao and his sisters? I do, however, after getting burned on this story. This might end up being my last one. I just don't see myself committing to the larger story I had planned.
